Smack Burger in North York

Amazing burger, but it’s served in a hotel bar and is so depressing. None of the waiters could understand what I was saying.

They just order a whole bunch of McDonald's Cheeseburgers and then heat them to order. It is literally reheated McDonald's with added onions. The bun is even soggy when you get it. Absolute disgrace and fraudulent behavior. Look at the picture and tell me this was made fresh in-house. Yeah I ate it because I was hungry, but this a damn reheated McDonald's meal. Screw these guys, disgusting hotel. $16 for a reheated cheese burger and fry that would cost you $6 dollars down the street. This place is a SCAM.

I am 90% certain this is actually a ghost kitchen that is run out of the hotel's restaurant. Good on them. One of the best burgers I had in a while, unfortunately served in a depressing... I guess I would call it a hotel bar...

Amazing burgers. I’ve tried every halal burger in the city, this is the only one that’s surpassed Ozzy’s! Definitely our go-to spot going forward. The key is lots of attention to loading up the burger, and most importantly, the patty is flavourful and amazingly cooked! 10/10!!!!!
