Very yummy! Everything we ordered was perfect. I will def be back! We were greeted with a warm welcome and our servers were kind and accommodating.

A hidden gem in the community! I recently moved to Downsview Park and was so happy to find Speducci! The food is amazing, the ambiance is perfect and the staff are lovely! Cant wait to return!

I had a lunch with my friends after shopping at Yorkdale. Relax and cozy place, food is great and price is reasonable , 20-30, service is excellent. We finished with dessert, Tiramisu , price not high, $16.00 and is not as good as we expected. Overall is great and will come back but this time no dessert.

Amazing elite authentic Italian cuisine

I visited about a month ago with friends, and while the food was generally great, we did find a piece of hair in one dish. This time, I came for my husband s birthday. The lamb was a bit tough, though the branzino was delicious, except the couscous was slightly cold. My daughter s lobster pasta was overcooked and arrived cold as well. The wines were excellent, but the cocktail was mediocre. A woman who seemed like the owner took the pasta to warm it up, but it came back so quickly I suspect it was microwaved. Although, our waiter was amazing and did everything he could to improve our experience, I m not sure if I want to give this place another chance.

I attended a birthday dinner last night and wow what a great experience. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked and presented. Service great and they were very attentive to our needs. Atmosphere was great. Definitely will return

Rude stuff

Edit - update - was looking forward to our return visit but it was not enjoyable. The food was not up to par and significantly different from our last visit. Ridiculously high prices and just underwhelming. It was an unpleasant surprise and while I may return to pick up some items from the shelves, I will be avoiding dining at the restaurant or stopping for a coffee. I absolutely love everything about Speducci. The food at the restaurant is fantastic, the espresso is divine and you can pick up so many amazing eats at the market. I highly recommend.

One of the best meals Ive had in my life. The steaks are cooked to perfection. The service is excellent even the french fries are done perfectly you just cant go wrong.

I heard this restaurant was good, but I finally went to it and it was terrible. Good at all. The portions were small and the fish platter. Don t order it. You ll get vegetable fries that were bought probably at Costco and then four shrimp and two pieces of calamari, but it looks like a big plate totally totally disappointed.

Ive dined in here before and the food & service was good at the restaurant. The food in the grocery section is also very delicious, the only thing is that the customer service sucks sometimes. That young girl with the long curly brown hair is very minimal effort. She didnt say anything when we were paying. Not even a hi? Ive worked in customer service for years and currently work 2 jobs dealing with the public. I dont understand how when a customer gets to the counter, someone doesnt have the courtesy to greet you or say anything... they just whisper to the other worker and pretend you dont exist. That really makes the business look so bad honestly. The product being sold is only 1 part of a business, the rest is service.

The lamb burger is the best, perfect with the fries. As a non beef eater, the lamb burger is the best burger I ve ever had. Definitely will come back and try more dishes.

Stopped by yesterday to check out the take out menu and deli selection. We ordered 2 veal sandwiches with some toppings. It took a little longer than expected and there was hardly any sauce on it (really dry) but the veal was crispy and there was a nice amount of cheese. Also got some meats to go and yes they are a bit higher priced than you d expect. Go see and try for yourself (ask for extra sauce on the veal)

A friend of mine won a box from their golf tournament recently. I ended up cooking the entire meal and let me tell you this place served up some great quality meat, sauce! Will definitely be coming here to shop from now on.

I keep going back again and again Chef Laura of DILA at Speducci is just magical!! If you re looking for a quaint and elegant spot for lunch- DILA is perfect! Located at the back of Speducci I ve even been there recently for a private birthday party- she takes as much care in making the decor and space beautiful, as much as her food delicious. The menu changes often with wonderful new creations and Laura is always very accommodating to every diner s specific food restrictions/ requests, making modifications and magical creations on the spot. Always a treat for all the senses and a fabulous meal every time! Thank you chef Laura!! The places you are willing to walk miles to nearby where you are staying that is open during the time you are hungry!! Ok but actually the market was closed when I arrived, however the manager was so kind enough to let me shop because he was there (and the hours on google are genuinly misleading). Anyway : i was very happy & surprised about selection of high quality imported goods...never really been to an italian market...even the salad was so fresh & tasty!

Hands down to the best Italian restaurant in the city. You wont find basic menu (no more basic carbonara or alfredo) like other places here, every items on the menu is interesting and well crafted. They have a special, quality controlled room for the curing of in house made prosciutto and aged beef. They also pride themselves for their dry aged steaks. The best part is you can go to the market side and ask to have a selected steak cooked for your meal in their dining room. Upon your entrance, you will be greeted by the host and owner, Rosie that will ensure your service and food are unforgettable. You can choose to dine at the bar or at a table with your group. Must tries are their steak, pizza, lamb speducci and home made pasta. The tower of in house made prosciutto is a must as well. If you are in North York, give Spedcci Mercatto a try. You will go back.

What an incredible gem! We just happened to be in the neighborhood for another event, and chose Speducci for the proximity, and good reviews. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were at home. We sat at the bar, and for the next 3 hours, we tasted a smorgasbord of incredible delights. Jade took such fabulous care of us that we wanted to adopt her. She makes a mean Whiskey Sour! We ate tuna carpaccio, steak tartare and a porchetta for two. The portions were large and we left there bursting at the seams. We had such a great time that we seriously considered not going to our other event! We left with a stop at the market for fresh sourdough bread, olive oil, olive spread and provolone cheese. It saddens us that we may never get a chance to get back there simply because it is incredibly rare for us to be in that part of the world...but we will keep the memory in our hearts! The tour she provided around the market, and dining/entertainment areas was enjoyed and appreciated! Now - onto the food - absolutely spectacular! Every dish was beautifully displayed, and 100% delicious! I wish we lived in Toronto so we could visit here weekly! The staff treated us like gold; we cannot recommend this place enough! Loved everything about this place, only problem if your there for a quick luncheon, would not recommend. Place was not that busy when we got there and simple lunch took almost 2hrs ended up being 45min late past my lunch break. Otherwise love the place.

I picked Speducci to have a celebration of life Dinner for my amazing mother due to the option of the more private atmosphere, excellent menu and great google reviews. I was beyond impressed with the level of customer service, attention to detail and the food. The Salumi Boards were presented in a way I have never seen, the Frittura was amazing and the Meat platter was excellent. Both the pasta selections we had were top notch. Special thanks to Rosie for setting everything up for our group and for the excellent service from the waiters. A must visit if you havent already.

I booked this (from where I live outside NYC,) not knowing what to expect. It was for my sisters surprise birthday party for thirteen people. To say it was a professional, well executed and pain free experience is an understatement. The restaurant communicated and arranged the menu with me via email which they scaled down twice because they felt I was over-ordering too much food. This is a place that doesnt have to rob you because they dont have to: they know youre coming back. The quality of their food and their attention to detail/service (shout out to Zed) is off the charts. It really doesnt get more authentic than this. What a find. And if you are sitting on the fence about going... dont. Its the real deal. Better than any Italian I have had in NYC - Little Italy and Arthur Ave combined. And thats saying a lot...

Over priced and nothing special. Rustica soup hardly had anything in it. The salad had olive pit and some kind of a gritty texture. Lost appetite. Dont mind paying for quality, serving staff was decent and nice, but it all fails with the kitchen staff.

This place is special, you re greeted with a butcher shop as soon as you walk in. The restaurant itself is open concept and provides a great vibe. The food is fresh as you can imagine. However, I had the chance to try boar for the first time and I m glad I tried it here. Make sure to check out the shop after you dine.

Great spot in central Toronto - a huge deli offering (wish we could have bought so many things to take home if we lived there!!) and great baked goods and hot food options along with drinks to have there. We got pizza and a chicken shnitzel sandwich from the deli but the pasta looked amazing from seeing people have it too.

This restaurant used to be great and a good value for the quality. Ive been a long time customer and Ive been appalled at the portion sizes as compared to price lately. I paid $25 plus tax and tip for a tuna salad that was supposed to be an entree but was incredibly small, served on a side plate and only had 4 slices of tuna. It was not filling and incredibly overpriced for the portion and the quality. The service there is always great. But, I wont be coming back as it does feel like they are price gauging their customers or trying to pass on the price of their new renovation to their customers.

Outstanding food, a superb wine list, great service and a relaxing casual atmosphere. One of my favourite culinary destinations. And you can supplement your personal pantry with a diverse selection of excellent meats, cheeses, pastas and accoutrements. Parking: Parking can be limited at busy times, but we have always found a spot.

I was very impressed with the pizza I ordered which was called Ortolana. It was very tasty and flavourful and every topping seemed fresh. Even the crust was good. Really it was excellent. The restaurant decor was modern and upbeat and service was great. The server was very attentive. I felt there was a lot of quality because of attention to detail. Vegetarian options: My pizza was vegetarian and even though I m not vegetarian I really enjoyed it.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto. We had the porchetta platter which was absolutely delicious. So much food (meant for 2) at a reasonable price. The pork was so juicy and all the sides were on point.

Generously given a table on a very busy night with lots of reservations. Service was kind and on top of things. Got octopus as an appetizer and the boar pasta as my main, both were awesome. Boyfriend got the Ravioli, which was one of the most unique flavors Ive ever tried with a pasta. Definitely worth checking this place out!

The food is outstanding. The service is well-intentioned but haphazard. Two different servers might seat you or take your drink order, but then no one will ask if you want desert or coffee and you might not be able to find anyone to bring your bill.

Chef Laura Panarese put together the most spectacular 7 course tasting menu that left our guests stuffed and speechless. Good food but the portion sizes have decreased significantly since the pandemic and everything is about double the price. Also, don t pay with an Amex Cobalt if you are trying to get 5x points for Food and Drink. They are registered as a merchandise business even though they have a full restaurant, so you ll only get 1x points.

Had a great company event last night at DiLa with Chef Laura. Learned how to make pasta . The atmosphere and event was so fun and relaxing! Gorgeous looking and tasting food from the charcuterie to the wonderful dinner we had after our pasta making. Thanks chef Laura for an amazing experience. Will definitely do this again!

Had an event this past week in the Dila dinning room with chef Laura and it was incredible! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Chef Laura was so accommodating with the dietary restrictions we had. It was a wonderful night!

Lots of favourite Italian dishes with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Tomahawk steak, lamb chops, fresh pizza, dessert from their bakery and fresh coffee to finish. Lots of wines, gifts and foods in their market and food counter area. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza and salads.

I used to think highly of this restaurant, because the dining experience and service are above standards. But the prices have gone through the roof. I was charged $ 6.00 for bread. Most Italian restaurants don t charge for bread. If you re going to charge for bread though, at least make sure it s fresh. The grilled calamari was a joke. Small little sliced pieces surrounded by tons of garnish to hide the small portion. And the rest of the food was mediocre for the cost. $ 300.00 for three people and we only ordered one appetizer, 1 glass of wine, a beer and three mains.

Lovely time every year

Went her for lunch got the lamb speducci and magherita pizza! Everything was super fresh, don t forget the chili oil. Definitely gets busy make sure you call in before you go in ! The place is split into two parts, a dine in and supermarket/bakery section. Food
