Kid-friendliness: This restaurant was NOT kid friendly. We were charged $22 for plain spaghetti noodles for my 6-year-old picky eater. That s a sign we will definitely not be coming back. Just saw a ad that kids eat free at Eataly. I think we ll go there next time. Food

Disappointing experience with kids. Decent food for adults, but lack of kids menu and charging full price for kids is insane. Will not be returning based on this. Service was also not great. Happier to spend my time and money on somewhere that has staff that are engaging and fun.

Have been ordering from this Vivo location for 2 years and Nov. 21 2024 will be my last. The pasta fagoli was totally disgusting no flavor at all on top the portion is shrinkflation not even half full. Wow totally avoid this place altogether!!!!!!!!!

Some of the best pasta Ive had in a long time! We loved every dish, such as the penne vodka sauce, and the delicious red wine vinaigrette-dressed salad. The service was impeccable, and even though the line was pretty long to get a seat, it didnt take too long to get seated. I cant wait to try the gnocchi next time we swing by.

My family and I love this place, it has become a home to us as the chef and the front of house staff treat us like family. Fiona and mirela are always positive in creating a welcoming atmosphere for us. The food is always perfect and consistent. We have hosted many parties with vivo and they have created some of our best memories here, from birthdays, communions, confirmations, and my mother s 65 birthday! If you are ever in the dufferin and 401 area don t forget to give vivo Billy bishop a try!!

Weve been coming for years now and love this place for the excellent food as well as the ladies who serve us and make us feel so welcome every time - they treat us like family and even remember our regular orders! Our kids ask to come here all the time and we look forward to our visits. Thanks for the exceptional food and service always!

My husband and I go to this location alot and we are usually in and out in just over 1 hour, this is why we go here! BUT last night was a nightmare, we ordered and 45 mins later received only 2 of the 4 items received! There were only 2 Servers and apparently only 1 cook??!! We saw 2 furious couples walk out after waiting forever as well. Felt bad for the 2 servers running around trying to resolve all the full Tables! Server came with the Bill before we got the pizza we ordered!!! She forgot and wanted to going place order, told her TO FORGET IT after almost 2 hrs we wanted to just leave! Again not their fault, I would say someone should have called management and hopefully had someone else come in to help serve the loyal customers! I would alway give a 5 star this time NO was a bad night.

Their fettuccine alfredo is potentially my favourite in the city BUT they occasionally have unfriendly staff at the front during take out AND their portions are small considering their prices. Especially for a chain they should consider adding a bit more pasta to that $22 dish. I really do love the food though but just some minor suggestions for improvement or things to look out for if trying for the first time!

Second time I ordered from here and they didn t give me dressing for my salad and didn t add the chicken I paid for on the pasta. I called to let them know and the women was not helpful and very condescending on top it it. I don t recommend you order from here.

The food here is incredible, the chef Tano makes everything so delicious from the appetizers to the dessert. The servers are excellent, Fiona and Jessica were super helpful with anything I need. They were quick, efficient and sweet. Would definitely recommend, such a positive friendy environment everything is always amazing.

She handled our party of 24 with such professionalism and ease and made our experience lovely! The food was delicious and they timed bringing out everything for everyone perfectly. The Service here is absolute trash . The lady was extremely rude and refused to give us extra cutlery when i m already paying $24 for a single pasta. Very cheap and definitely not worth the money. Never going back here again.

The service was fantastic. We had lunch with my friends younger sister who only likes pepperoni pizza. The server was super kind and requested from the kitchen pepperoni in place of salami. Smiles all around our table. Ive also had their pasta dishes on a variety of occasions, always hot and tasty! Definitely check them out if youre in the area. Parking: Ample parking in lot for strip mall complex. Kid-friendliness: Patio and indoor eating environments and staff super kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Main floor unit and automatic doors make for easy access.

I went with my husband and we ordered two pizzas, one of the pizza order was wrong but nevertheless they were so delicious that it didnt bother us to have the wrong order. However, my husband let them know of the error and they gave us the pizza that we originally ordered at no additional cost. We felt valued and respected, they take care of clients. As always, food is delicious.

The food is decent but the recent price hikes are insane. Please explain to me how you can justify charging $22 for a simple Penne Vodka or a Margherita Pizza. Theres maybe $4 worth of ingredients in there.

The prices are very high, there is a mandatory tip, and this is very annoying. Of course, we can give a tip, but they cannot determine how much it is. When you look at the menu, the prices seem reasonable, but the total receipt is an unnecessary exaggeration and they do not care about every customer the same way. They also ask for very high tips without paying attention to what we need and refilling our water. I did not like it at all.

Adorable spot! We had a great time. Sunday May 5th, 2024 Reservation of 8. Mothers Day Lunch (week early) Arrived at 1pm left at 4pm. Let the servers know we were not in a hurry. Because of this, everything was relaxed. We ordered 8 shared apps that came out 2 at a time. Not rushed. All entrees were tasty. Italian Disco Mafia upbeat music in the background. Our two female servers, sorry don t know the names but the bill receipt says Fiona. Both ladies were attentive and accommodating.

This was my third time visiting this restaurant, and once again, it did not disappoint! The pizza was absolutely fantastic! The sangria was also great! Every visit has been consistently great, and I cant wait to come back again!

First off never been to an Italian restaurant that doesnt serve lasagna or veal cutlet! Seems that youre lacking protein in all your pasta dishes. Overcharging for the cheapest ingredient which is pasta! Paid $6 extra to add a couple of shreds of chicken breast to my pasta dish very pathetic! My party group had finished their meal while I was still waiting for mine to be brought to my table, and when my pasta dish finally did arrive it was undercooked with hard rigatoni to chew on! On the menu the pasta dish was listed as $19 on my check it was listed as $25. Now because I had a party table with a few checks between all of us, they decide by default theyre going to add full tip to each check on that table! Your service and meal did not reflect or justify a full tip! I waited 35 minutes for my entree to come out to my table and then another 30 minutes for my dish to come out undercooked to boot! Never again!!!!!

We were a party of 8 and 3 guests weren t happy with the food. It looked great and tasted awful. A chicken Caesar salad - dry and cold chicken. A pasta special - tasted and smelled like the mussels weren t even washed and the sauce has absolutely no flavour it was a 30 plate and they refused to take care of it, it wasn t even touched. And the margherita pizza was bland. Will never return

Enjoyed the penne vodka and chili oil a flavorful delight, and the Italian Paloma was perfectly strong. However, service varied; the waitress in her 40s was unwelcoming and rude, while the younger waitress was friendly. Food and drinks were great, service could improve.

I recently visited vivo on thurday night with my sister. we were served by mirela, as always. the staff is friendly and very welcoming. the food was delicious as always. i had the penne vodka with shrimp and my sister had the seafood spaghetti. this place never fails to disappoint us. amazing service and food! must try 10/10

We go here regularly at least a couple of times a week Food is great service is amazing Just wish they had some hot peppers or even chilly flakes for the food maybe some jalapenos for the pizza or even banana peppers.

My husband and I agree that we ve had better pizza here than we did on our trip to Italy this past summer. The n duja is my favourite and we don t come here without ordering their delicious calamari - some of the best we ve had in the city. Service is always friendly and quick. If there s room, opt for the tiramisu! Highly recommend

This place is located in the best spot ever with lots of parking, close to subway and transit. The food is magnificent and the service is second to none. There was couples and families giving this place a homey atmosphere. The food literally melts in your mouth and they have a wonderful selection.

I came in for dinner and had the calamari, lamb speducci and seafood spaghetti. My experience with vivo was great the food was excellent, and the service and servers were quick and efficient. Fiona and Jess were super sweet and we had a lovely conversation with them. 10/10 review will definitely be coming back

I visited this vivo location on Wednesday night with my family. The service surpassed our expectations. Fiona was very sweet and positive throughout the night and gave us some amazing food recommendations. You must try their penne alla vodka and the seafood spaghetti. My partner had the vivo pizza, it had the perfect crust and was very savoury. Will be returning! 10/10

We were served a warm bottle of beer then we said to server that we wished to have a cold one. She gave us another a bottle of beer. We found out that is was also warm. We drank the beer and intended to pay. We went to the server to pay for our meal and drink. We reminded the server that the beer had been warm. She apologized and decided to remove the beer from the bill. We love vivo and we found the food is excellent and service also excellent. However, we came today and we asked for beer. Victoria declined our beer order. She said that we wouldnt pay for the beer last time. We were shocked. Victoria basically accused of stealing beer. We were outraged at this accusation. We felt extremely uncomfortable during our meal. By the way , we had an excellent meal and service from another server. Although denied beer. We enjoy your restaurant very much including service. What we do not like that fact is Victoria made us very uncomfortable and accused us of uncivil behaviour. Here say.

I got the rigatoni bolognese, honestly it was extremely extremely sour. I totally hated it. Couldn t even eat it. It s the only thing I ve tried from here, but I m sure there are other things that are 100% better. 1 star for the food, 5 star for the service.

Ordered a salami pizza. It was soggy, and the salami tasted and smelled like wet dog. Perhaps different toppings would have been better.

I love this place so much. Just God knows how grateful I am that they re so close to me. I m a student leaving alone and sometimes I m very busy and I don t have the time to cook for myself but I also don t want to eat unhealthy BUT this place has the highest quality in what they make and their food tastes exceptional. My friend and I came to the restaurant at 12 10 and asked if we could be served and out before 1 00pm. Our attendant, who looked like the owner said sure its possible. We were seated at a window, and our orders were taken quite promptly. The space is quite bright and well lit. I ordered a vegetable pizza, and my friend from Calgary ordered a hi protein neat pizza. The wood burning oven pizza came relatively fast, and it was delicious. It was my first time there and I was very pleased with the service and food quality. The staff was very pleasant. We left at around 12 55pm as my friend had to catch a plane back to Calgary. There was also lots of free parking close to the restaurant. When you are in the neighborhood, give them a try. You will not be disappointed. A 4 star because it is not a fancy gourmet style restaurant. Vegetarian options: Delicious.

We ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and prosciutto pizza. The pasta had no seasoning and not creamy at all. The only reason im giving 4 star is for the starter we had ( fried mushrooms) and our server. Unfortunately I dont know her name but she was so nice and attentive.

I have been coming here for awhile now and I really thought I had already left a review Anyways this place is so great! It s odd to see such negative reviews The Penne Vodka is my absolute FAV and Margherita Pizza. Today I tried the Patata Pizza and it was also very delicious. I introduced 4 of my coworkers and they all absolutely LOVE Vivo, so much so myself and 1 of my coworkers ate here twice this week We talk about this place so much that our whole office wants to join us on our next visit! Service is great! Jess was nice, thank you! Typically I dine on the patio, there are lots of umbrellas as well as spots along the side of the building for shade and views of the Allen/Subway. The interior was larger than I expected, decor is very nice and the place is clean. A perfect little spot for some delicious food! Thank you! And see you soon

I was so happy to get pizza but it was so bland and odd I ate it but I would not come back

I am updating this review as my experience with this place has changed for the positive. The prices are fair as well and the dining experience is relatively casual. Were always quick to be seated and the food comes quickly. We usually go for pasta or pizza and you cant go wrong with either. They are also happy to make accommodations when possible (like asking for spaghetti instead of penne) and they are mindful of dietary restrictions. My original review was when they opened up. The food took forever to come, and when it did, they came 10 minutes apart. However, since we have given the place another try, and weve been back multiple times as theyre local, and weve never had this issue again!

I came here to celebrate a birthday with some friends, and everything was perfect! The food was delicious, the drinks were so yummy, and the servers were so sweet and accommodating! 10/10 recommend.

Very disappointed. We have eaten at this restaurant many times and over the last several months the quality has changed. We ordered today on Uber and spent over $200 and are very disappointed with the quality of the 3 pizzas we ordered. The dough seems store bought and there was no cheese on the pizzas. One of the sandwiches barely had one slice of prosciutto on an $18 sandwich. We won t be returning. I highly recommend the Vaughan location.

I frequent Vivo, and last night I went last night for dinner. It was packed, and even though there was only 2 servers for the whole place, they did a great job in making sure everyone was taken care of. Not to mention the food was AMAZING as always. 10/10 would recommend, for price, food quality, and service.

Great Italian food

i ve been coming here ever since they open. The service, the food, the atmosphere is all very good. My go twos are the calamari, the Caprese salad, definitely the prosciutto pizza and the penne vodka pasta. Always on point.

This restaurant is delicious Italian food, we are Italian and are super picky with our own food . We had the spaghetti, rigatoni gnocchi, and calamari absolutely delicious. Great service, old school Italian music which just made me smile , took me back to the Italian wedding memories and the music our parents would sing as they are italian immigrants. I came for lunch was a little reluctant but wasnt really feeling anything else nearby and it ended up being very satisfying and completely surpassed my expectations especially from a chain style restaurant, in fact Ive been more disappointed in some home style places. Got the seafood special pasta and it was perfectly al dente and well made and I thought there was a fair amount seafood. Will return when Im back working in the area.

Two days in a row coming in to this location and I can t get enough. Last night I walked in with my girlfriend and enjoyed the penne vodka and rigatoni and it was delicious. Today I walked in with my mother and enjoyed a prosciutto pizza, orecchiette pasta and carbonara pasta recommended by our server. Food was delicious and really hit the spot. Don t forget to order the tiramisu it s the perfect way to end your meal. Both days the staff was very friendly and sweet and honestly gonna make this my new go to for Italian. It s Authentic Italian food, served in a casual atmosphere.The food is delicious, portions are generous at reasonable prices. Servers were polite and attentive. Food arrived in a timely manner and served hot. It was my third visit.My husband and I had lunch at Billy Bishop Way location. We shared the Insalata VIVO $13 Arugula with toasted bread, goat cheese, fresh beets and walnuts dressed with a honey balsamic vinaigrette.I had pasta fagioli soup, hearty soup of pasta & beans. $13 He had the special of the day, spaghetti with seafood $23. We were too stuffed for desserts.Red wine, espresso and cappuccino. We can t wait to return.

This is one of my favourite and often go to places to eat. The waitress is always happy to see me and whomever I am with. I seem to be lucky enough to always get the same one. I believe her name is Morella. She is such a nice lady. Her smile goes a long way. Food is always great with generous portions as well. I usually order the soup and rice balls. I only ever grab the Cesar salad with shrimp to go. Each time, including tonight, its delicious! Shrimp is grilled perfectly. The dressing is plenty but not over powering. Fresh shaved parmigiana, tiny croutons that melt in your mouth. Very fair price at $19 with tax considering its large size with shrimp. Very nice staff!

My first time at Vivo this weekend. The Pizza is really good. And my kids also like the Spaghetti. We will go back again and again.

Having worked in the customer service industry for 5 years, Alessandra at Vivo provided one of the best customer service experiences I have encountered to date. My friends and I went to Vivo North York for a birthday dinner and after notifying Alessandra we are here for a birthday celebration, she did everything she could to accommodate to the occasion. On top of going above and beyond to make the birthday guest truly feel special (including playing happy birthday on the speakers), she made sure our dining experience was amazing as well. One of the table guests was debating between the white wines, she provided him with two samples and said shell check back on him later on. She truly made sure that everyone had an enjoyable meal and didnt want anyone to be disappointed. The food portions was generous, it is a classic Italian spot to go to! Our table group was the last to leave the restaurant, and she offered us to take our time, to take pictures, and that she can also take pictures for us. Thank you Alessandra for making this a memorable experience - Ill be recommending this specific location to anyone that is looking for a great Italian restaurant to dine at.

Had a very bad experience at this place. Food is not what I expected. And the service so poor..no hi hello whatsoever. Waited for 15 mins just to be seated and when the server came to us by the door she said we can seat anywhere.. I don t understand why we had to stand for 15 minutes and there s plenty of empty seats.. we waited another 15 mins before a server showed up for our order. The server didn t even ask if we want a drink to start with.. anyways we order everything all together. (Drinks food) it came and she just put on our table like it s an empty table! And left 0 conversation. Like enjoy your food or can I get you anything else she just left! And we waited for another 20 mins just to get our bill. And another 15 mins for the interact machine! We will never go back in this place!

I am very pleased to have visited this place because the food, the drink as well as the service were 100%. Good location with no parking problems, very relaxed atmosphere and very attentive staff. A good place to spend a pleasant time.

Warm and welcoming environment and friendly staff. We were greeted by the pizza chef who spoke to us in fluent Italian. The calamari was absolutely delicious and the pizzas cooked to perfection, perfectly thin with fresh toppings. Lots of care and thought put into the dishes. This a hidden gem in North York and I ll definitely be coming back!

Horrible service

Great food. Server wasn t the best, showing attitude, sighing and rolling her eyes. I guess cuz there s 8 of us and it s auto gratuity, so the bare minimum was all she had to do. I work as a server myself, and I get you might have some bad days, but projecting that on customers who are there to enjoy the food, and be met with decent service. Splitting bills can be an issue, but with auto gratuity I think that s the least you can do. If that was a huge issue then it should ve been brought up at first. The rest of the staff were a lot kinder.

Back again after a good lunch and now we are here for dinner and had the same waitress Giovanna she very pleasant and knowledgeable and so sweet and will be back again thank you Anna

be very carful of this place. Pino along with his son and wife are criminals. They are running a scam. We supplied equipment to there 4 locations and have not paid there bills. I also know of over 10 people who have been promised franchises and have not received anything in return. This man is very dangerous. And do not trust a word they say .

The amount of money you pay for the pasta and this is what you get. The container was not even packed halfway. It was filled with oli. Unable to even eat this. A waste of my time and money. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

We went on a Wednesday for lunch.Our waitress was not very friendly.We ordered a martini she made for my husband and it didnt taste good told her about it,then had an a attitude.And didnt come back to see how we were doing.She should not be in customer service.

Today, I came to Vivo Pizza + Pasta looking to try their pasta. I asked for take-out after thinking that I have family who bought other food and we can eat at home together. After paying, a guy rushed out the door, completely ignoring me (the person who ordered the food) and I saw him approaching my family with my food as dine-in. Thinking it was okay, then I sat down to eat outside. In the middle of my meal, suddenly management decides I cannot eat there anymore? What an absolute humiliation for pasta that tastes like a 5 year old made it in their kitchen. Why should I have to endure this after paying for food and tip (25 dollars for a small serving). Keep in mind that there was also nobody in and out of the restaurant either. You have so many empty tables/chairs and you kick out your only patron. No wonder nobody comes here to eat, because of the so called management.

Had reservations for Sunday night at 7:30 for 9 people. Went there. The place was closed. They didn t bother to look at the reservation list and call me. The manager is supposed to call me about this but he hasn t. Don t go there.

I was really disappointed with this place. I really tried to like it, but in the end, it was very bad from a quality perspective. The cheese they provided was fake Parmesan cheese, which seemed a little odd. We got a Caesar salad, and the dressing was not even spread evenly across the lettuce. We didn t even finish our plates because of the poor food quality. It is edible, I didn t get sick, but I will never go back. The biggest issue is the quality inn attention to detail and when you re spending approximately $20-$30 per person you can do a lot better!

The newmarket location is better. We get a full pizzas worth of the Nutella. And the spaghetti carbonara here taste like Mac & Cheese..not authentic at all. Calamari batter was falling off. 200$ later ..not worth it.

We really wanted to like this restaurant. It is close to where we live, the setting is nice, and the prices are okay. The food quality is my complaint - we have tried several pasta dishes, the arancini, the caprese and a pizza. The cheese and sauce just taste weird every time. We never finish our meal. There are much better Italian restaurants in the city, I suggest you try elsewhere.

Amazing experience! Hard to find these type of pizzas in North York. Big portions and good price, I really enjoyed the seafood pasta, vivo salad, pizza, and even the blueberry cheesecake. Our sever Yovana was amazing. She helped us decide our orders and made sure we had a pleasant experience . Will be back 100% Ps. every time I come they play good music

I ordered Alfredo pasta with chicken take out from here. The chicken was paper thin, dry and BURNT. It was truly a disappointment.

I love this place amazing food

I don t even know where to start. First off, the pizza was so paper thin that i could almost see my hand holding it from the bottom through the dough. Any time i tried to grab a slice it would literally break into pieces from how soggy, floppy and thin it was, let alone the pizza having no flavour at all. The pasta i got was also beyond flavourless. So much so that I questioned whether i got covid & lost my sense of taste or if the food was actually this bland and flavourless. Asides from that, the pasta was sitting in a bowl of oil (i assume thats their version of pasta sauce) and after every bite i took i was left with a ton of oil on my lips. I couldn t get a quarter way through the meal without tossing it in the garbage. I have no idea how this place has the amount of positive ratings it has unless they re just paid reviews or friends of the owners.

Hard to find authentic Italian cuisine outside of my parents house. This place is a close second. The service is always top notch here since Day 1! Regardless how busy they were they always presented themselves in a professional warm manner. This is why I keep coming back. La dolce vita

Went with my boyfriend and sat on their patio outside, all of the staff were friendly. Our waitress was on point and served us water before I even had to ask, its the little things after all! The food was good, served hot and in a fair amount of time. They seemed very clean and were always seen wiping down tables and such. Overall, had a good experience! The prices are fair, definitely not as bad as I initially thought it would be.

Service was good but the chefs started screaming at each other in Italian. We are all Italian, and it was very awkward. It Really ruined our experience and the overall feel of the restaurant. Glad I wasnt with my kids.

It was my first time eating at Vivo and I had an amazing experience! The service was great, as was the food. I wasnt a fan of any of the drinks on the menu and told the waitress what I liked and she was able to suggest me a perfect drink. Great food, great service and great environment. Cant wait to visit again.

Ive been here multiple times now and each time is like the first! Not only is the food absolutely delicious but the music is actually my favourite part about this place. I feel like Im in Italy with a mixture of oldies and the latest hits playing. Between taking bites of the delicious food Im dancing in my seat. You cannot go wrong with selection either, whether its pizza or pasta every dish has that authentic Italian taste. Extra points for their delivery service.... ordered through Uber Eats and the food arrived piping hot!

My first time here definitely not my last. I loved everything about this place the staff they were so friendly and just amazing people. The food was really good very tasty. Next time I will go for pasta this time I wanted a pizza and some calamari and some arancini (rice balls). Yummy yummy and yummy! Wasnt too expensive either.

The cooks don t wear masks. When I asked why the waitress working said that they are working 6ft apart so they don t have too . I kindly said I d pass and turned to walk out when she shouted at me to look it up . Every business has the right to do as they please but I suggest going elsewhere if you are still covid anxious.

My husband and I have been coming to vivo for years and we absolutely love it. The owners are actually ITALIAN! They have various food choices from stone oven pizzas, salads, pasta, charcuterie boards... You name it. I love their pizza with a side salad, you can never go wrong! Their calamari is also very delicious. In the many times we have gone, weve never had any issues with their service. They are always kind and very welcoming... They even treat your kids with the same level of kindness. If they have busier days or make an error, they DO NOT shy from correcting their error on the spot and I cant help but give them credit for that. Hands down, my favorite Pizza joint. Also, their tiramisu... Must. Mmmm.

Crazy customers coming in screaming at the staff for vaccine passports and it s ridiculous!! Its not the staffs fault people need to stop screaming at them and realize everyone is doing the best they can now. Vivo Pizza, is the authentic Italian dish, I always enjoy going to Vivo, wheather i sit in side the restaurant is a very pleasant atmosphere but also when I sit on their patio, it feels like home. I enjoy ordering the food to bring home when I have visitors over for dinner it taste like a home made meal. For my family i the food is excellent!

Excellent pizza, low key place for good food and very reasonably priced!

Pene vodka pasta was perfectly cooked and delicious sauce. Pizza was bit to soggy and toppings just fall out easily.

The Vivo on the Billy Bishop Way location is our familys go to spot! Weve been going religiously for years and my kids have grown up eating there for their friendly and warm environment. The staff is amazing and make you feel like youre visiting family. My daughter has had her first birthday lunch there and my son always looks forward to his favorite dish, pasta fagioli and a warm ciao from his good buddy Chef! I highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to enjoy great authentic Italian food while making great memories with family.

Came in for lunch today and there were 2 ladies serving us. The younger lady is cool but the older lady who I believe is the manager is extremely arrogant and very rude. I split my bill with part cash/debit and when I tipped I didnt realize it only tipped on half the bill so she came back to me to confront me about my tipping and looked me up and down as I was a piece of dirt and said dont worry about it and Merry Christmas. First off I dont even celebrate Christmas. Secondly while we were packing up to leave she was telling the other server and speaking loudly as we were still there. Atleast wait for us to leave and then I said thank you and she said Yeah whatever just wanted us out. Also the pizza chef went to smoke and came back in and didnt wash his hands and went to get plates and continued making pizza. No proper hygene and also cooks not wearing masks. Will be posting the video on social media as we filmed it. Stay away from this location. Absolutely will not return

The selection on the menu is absolutely terrible at Vivo. The prices are very expensive for what you get namely on the chefs special. The portion sizes are very small. The drinks are very expensive. The taste and quality of the food is very poor. This is definitely not what Italian food should taste like or look like. Its an insult to the Italian culture on what they serve here. Not sure how they are still in business. The customer service was also lacking as the servers are very arrogantand are quite annoyingwhen you try to eat as they keep coming back to make small talk. Let me enjoy my meal in peace. I spent nearly $100 here and they dont dont bring a bread basket to the table. The atmosphere and the restaurant is just OK. I most definitely would not recommend this place to go to. If youre looking for a good meal, perhaps you should consider some of the other restaurants in the general vicinity.

Great food, customer service and overall experience.

Went for dinner last night. Wasn t expecting to go for Italian food, but super happy we did. Alessandra was very attentive and had a great understanding of the menu. She informed us of the specials and helped us make the right choice for our mains. Service was fast and the food tasted great! Would recommend and definitely would go again.

We stumbled on this place while looking for a restaurant around Yorkdale mall and we did luck out. We had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, and there were enough veggie options which we found is rare in Italian restaurants. Our toddler just loved the Arancini. The waitress was very friendly and made sure our order was quickly made. Loved the place and will visit again.
