747 Don Mills Rd. #9, North York, ON M3C 1T2, Canada
Casual Japanese joint offering sushi & grilled seafood & meats in a simple strip-mall setting.
We had a large party here with about 25 friends, after a friend's child was Baptised. The selection was great and the food was excellent. Eloisa was serving our table for all you can eat. She was a most gracious host and waitress. She was very kind and polite, and was very attentive to the needs of our group. We will all be returning.
The last time we went to this restaurant was probably before COVID and we would come here pretty regularly. However, our last visit was very disappointing to say the least. First off, you order on an ipad but only get served about 75% of your order (the easy stuff to make i guess). Anything fried like tempura, deep fried cheese wontons, or even just fried rice will come 3-4 orders later if it comes at all. We followed up on our cheese wonton order about 25 minutes later and when they finally gave it to us, we were told to order on the ipad as the chef was “getting grouchy” as per the server. Mind you, the restaurant wasn’t busy. The cheese wontons were also super oily to the point where we had to blot them with a napkin. The teppanyaki steak that we usually order was also very undercooked and very bland. Not to mention, the sashimi did not taste fresh whatsoever and we’re not picky when it comes to sashimi but this was really disappointing. They must have changed chefs because everything tasted so different. The restaurant was also partially under construction as there was a corner that was taped off with construction tape. Overall, the staff was pretty friendly and had no part in our terrible experience but it was shocking to see an automatic service charge of 13%. Normally this is added to a table of at least 6 or more but there were only 4 of us. Cant say that I’d come here again.
UPDATE DEC. 26th 2023. 2 days after my visit. I was hospitalized twice with food poisoning following my visit to this restaurant. Please avoid eating here at all costs. Lacklustre experience for the price. Weekend dinner is $40.99 +tax per person. Although the menu is extensive the quality is poor and the taste is simply not there. The service was spectacular. Great staff. Super clean but the food was something left to be desired. I sent back a number of plates which included; - cheese wontons - every beef dish - Takoyaki - cheese mussels - crème brûlée The ice cream seemed to be pre-scooped and refrozen into the bowls for convenience. Everything except the grilled firey dragon roll seemed to have been reheated from frozen. All in all for the price it isn’t worth it. Good to try in the city but out of 10…. Possibly 4. They also added an additional 13% service charge on top of the bill. Which I didn’t particularly like. (Left a cash tip) I noticed they almost charged me for 2 and I let them know. They fixed it immediately. The music and staff was the best part of my experience.
We've been coming to this all-you-can-eat place for more than 5 years because we like that they offer a 50% discount for someone's birthday and a 10% discount if you pay by cash. Our last visit was 6 months ago, and since then, both the food and service have declined. Last night, we decided to give it another chance, but it only got worse. The deep-fried chicken and chicken wings were way overcooked; instead of being golden brown, they were dark brown, and you could even smell that they were fried in bad oil. The famous beef tenderloin was undercooked, which is the first time we've experienced this issue in the last 5 years. I believe their sushi is still okay if you go there for all-you-can-eat sushi/rolls. At the new increased price of $37 per person for dinner, there are plenty of similar options available. We probably won't be going there again.
Came here with my best friend for dinner. It was our first time, and it definitely won't be our last. Very reasonable price for all you can eat. Food was beautifully presented and everything we ordered was delicious! Our waitress was also very sweet and kind! Highly recommend this place!
For $27, the lunch all you can eat menu wasn’t bad. Most foods tasted decent and the quality of the salmon was high considering its price. The noodles in their ramen was a bit off, since they were using a rice-noodle like noodles instead of the traditional egg noodles. Overall a decent and satisfying experience.
Good AYCE sushi but quite a limited selection for the price (non "luxury" menu). They offer a decent selection of rolls but are missing some typical staples such as green dragon. Food was tasty and ingredients were fresh. Service was good although quite slow, they did have hiring signs up so they may have just been short staffed. Overall a good option for ayce but definitely lacking in value.
For the past seven years, Osaka Sushi Buffet has been our go-to spot, and it has never once let us down. Conveniently located in our community, it has become a staple in our dining routine, and with good reason. The quality of the food here is consistently excellent. Whether it's the sashimi, which is always super fresh, or the sushi pizza, a delightful twist, we’re never disappointed. The tempura is crispy and light, and the grilled dishes are always perfectly cooked. One of the standout aspects for us is their warm sushi rice—it makes every bite more enjoyable. Beyond the food, the service at Osaka Sushi Buffet is top-notch. The staff is attentive and pays close attention to every detail, ensuring our dining experience is always pleasant. Osaka Sushi Buffet has been our trusted favourite for years, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality sushi and excellent service in a convenient location.
I come by this place sometimes when visiting the botanicla gardens as this is a high quality sushi place. All things I have tried here are excellent. Staff is always friendly, the take out is well prepared and packaged, and they are quick with orders. The interior is spacious, tidy, and welcoming. Highly recommend their dynamite roll Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian items Parking: Lots of parking in spacious lot adjacent to main road Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly place
You can see the sunset, the traffic conditions on the road outside and the flying birds. There are nearby coffee shops as well as supermarkets and laundry rooms. It is a place to relax . There is also a super park where you can have fun and enjoy the atmosphere. There is sunshine, music, and the food is served quickly and tastes good. 1 The finger stick is mainly located near the gas station Parking: There are 4 sufficient parking lots, which are very large and convenient. Kid-friendliness: Sincerely recommend, it is very suitable for families of all sizes to enjoy. The most important thing is that there are drinks and coffee and more choices. The partary room is equipped with karaoke 0K. Show off your singing voice if needed.
Clean, fast and courteous service. Fresh, good quality food for an average price. The service was on point. Tips are included automatically in the bill.
We came at 8:50pm and they close early. On Google and on the Door. It say 10pm. I dont recommend them at all.
Force tip 13%
Alwaysssssss phenomenal, my sis and I love it here
I love coming to this place , the food and service are really good. My friend and I had lunch there today, very good food quality. Aisha is really nice, she made sure we have the best experience.
Tasty sushi and other AYCE offerings. The menu is a bit different from other places (for example they don t have super basic rolls like cucumber but have delicious dim sum even on a week night). Service is prompt. Food is fresh. The resto is spaced well allowing for easy accessibility. They also have push buttons at each door to enter making it easier for someone in a wheelchair to enter. Very spacious location with tons of free parking. Parking: Huge free parking lot with an accessible parking spot Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible free parking available. Entrance features two/double doors with push button access. Tables are spaced far apart allowing a wheelchair to easily move about
The quality of the food was quite disappointing. Do not recommend if you are going with kids.
My favourite all you can eat sushi. Have been going here for years!
My experience at this sushi restaurant was very horrible. The food was served cold, and the condiments provided were insufficient. This was the worst sushi joint I have ever been to. They also automatically charge you with a tip even if you don t want to.
They have tasty dishes with soup and sauces..and their prices are definitely more than reasonable.
Very decent all you can eat buffet, heavily recommended for sushi enthusiasts! Super friendly staff, clean environment and good music! Plus a discount when paying by cash! Only downside is the food can take quite a while at times
This is, without a doubt, the worst all you can eat sushi in Toronto. Wrong items delivered, food burnt and oversalted, cheese wontons not cheese. Worst of all tip was made mandatory. Do not go here. McDonalds next door is better option, certainly better value.
Absolute best All You Can Eat SUSHI BUFFET Video review - https://youtu.be/xgqqu6wVZIw Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. Parking: Parking lot is right in front of restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter or in the restaurant.
Bad service. The restaurant says that the hours are until 10:30 pm and even though we arrived at 10 pm, they did not serve us.
Probably the biggest waste of $40. Had the all you can eat sushi. I think the sesame chicken was like dog meat or something. It was like eating some hard candy. Never coming back. Good customer service tho
I m a regular customer who came for takeout, treated with disrespect, lots of yelling. Some middle aged women at the front. Don t think will come back.
Very good (for Chinese) AYCE... unsurprisingly stir fried dishes are the best items on the menu. Sushi is fairly average for an AYCE. Some torn seats and had to send back the beef skewers as they were very dry and tough. Salad dressing was thousand island and not the lovely orange Japanese dressing you get at most places. The deep fried stuff did taste clean and was fresh and hot... Many of these all you can eat are very much the same as the next. Be where they do at 13% but theyre not trying to trick you as they tell you this... Commendable as I probably would have tipped twice had they not drawn it to my attention.
Very delicious food. The price for the dishes are so reasonable and sometimes the customers profit. The vibe is nice and the bathrooms are squeaky clean! Bento boxes were definitely worth it with the large portions! Very calm and nice. Would definitely recommend.
The servers are really nice and the food tastes really good
Yummy @@@and I got 10% discount pay by cash
Kirk is the best!!
We went there, both not eating seafood, and wow what a surprisingly LARGE menu. Upon first entering, the host was extremely friendly and let me sit and read the menu to ensure it suited us. We took a seat, started ordering off the ipad, and when I say its been the QUICKEST susi all you can eat EVER, Im not exaggerating. So many attentive and polite servers! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Will be back, this deserves more than 5
Under new management this place is amazing
Food was fine. Service was good. But I didn t appreciate them AUTOMATICALLY adding a 13% tip. And the tip was on top of the taxes as well. I actually would have tipped more than that if it were left to my discretion but I don t appreciate being forced to do so and am not going back because of this.
I always come to this Osaka Sushi location because their sushi is my favorite and always so good. I usually never have a problem, and all the servers are friendly and attentive. Today, I came in and ordered two items: a sushi roll and dumplings. My dumplings arrived in five minutes, and my friend got her sushi and dumplings very quickly. However, I waited 30 minutes for my sushi roll, and it still didnt come. No one checked on us or even bothered to ask if everything was okay. I had to struggle to get the attention of the servers, which was very frustrating. I informed the server that I hadnt received my food, and he went to check. Ten minutes later, he came back and asked if I had received my roll, and I told him I still hadnt and that it had been a very long time. Finally, after 40 minutes of waiting, I got my roll, which was the only thing I ordered. At that point, the restaurant wasnt very busy, and the servers were just walking around and standing, so I wondered what took so long. I never received an explanation or an apology for the delay. They just sent another waitress to give me my food, and she placed it on the table without saying anything. They could see I wasnt in a good mood and still didnt offer anything, not even a simple apology or a discount for the poor service. I never act rudely to waiters or servers, and I dislike being mean to places or people, but this experience was unacceptable. I always come here or order food from Uber Eats and never have issues because I genuinely love the food. I was very disappointed today, and it ruined my mood. I should have been more vocal, but I did mention multiple times how long it was taking. I hoped they would understand the hint. I hope they do better next time and offer better customer service. Im not mad about the wait but rather how they handled the situation with no care or regard for my time and feelings.
Good service but the food was mid. Took a very long time to come out. The rolls we ordered had condiments and stuff inside that wasn t listed on the menu. We ordered around 20-25 pieces of sashimi and it was not served in ice which i think is a little weird because it ends up being warm. Some of the rolls had rotten avocado in it as well. They charge their own tip (13%) which i just don t believe in altogether. Not that the service was bad, but i think customers would appreciate picking their own tip.
This was the saddest bento box that I ve ever had eaten. The chicken came with skin. It only came with 3 california sushi, which were too big in proportion. The service was good.
I had a great experience at this all-you-can-eat sushi place! The sushi was fresh and tasty, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The ambiance was pleasant and inviting. The only downside was the price, which felt a bit high, and the limited variety of options compared to other places. Overall, still a solid choice for sushi lovers. Four stars!
Very Good service by mr.kirk and all crews on the floor, good atmosphere and clean, good tasty foods.. i will recommend to my friend and work mates..
I often go here because of the variety, speed that the good arrives. One time, we were accommodated slightly more than an hour before closing time - the staff ensured we had our moneys worth of food despite the kitchen closing at 9:15.
Ive been wanting to try this place for a while, but have been hesitant due to some mixed reviews. I finally tried it this past weekend and honestly the food is great. The teriyaki beef was an overwhelming favourite at our table. Nice and tender since it was perfectly cooked, no fatty pieces, just the right amount of sauce and seasonings. However, I have to say the service itself was a little questionable and leaves something to be desired. The call server button on the iPad didnt seem to actually do anything since our server didnt know we were calling for them any of the three times we used it. We didnt get all of the food we ordered and we had to ask at least two different people before we got the rest of it because the first person just said oh... its probably coming without bothering to check or actually do anything about it. The restaurant was awfully and unnecessarily chilly. It was less than 5 degrees outside and it felt like the air conditioning was on full blast in the restaurant. Aside from that, their birthday offer is one of the better ones Ive seen, and everyone was very nice and polite. Id definitely go again, especially for that beef teriyaki.
Very bad experience
Nice food and friendly staffs
Amazing variety of fried items (takoyaki!), easy to eat food (the dragon rolls are soft and not overstuffed with rice), and fast service. The price is very reasonable, even at the lower end for dinner.
Came here for dinner on a weekday evening. I had low expectations of this restaurant because most AYCE sushi/dim sum buffets Ive been to before usually prioritize filling you up on the cheap stuff (rice or carbs) ahead of maintaining good food quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the portions were well-balanced, delicious, and came quickly to our table. On top of that the wait staff was very friendly and had excellent customer service. Definitely one of the better AYCE places and Im excited to come back again.
Very good food. You order via iPad. There is all you can eat or a la carte.
SUSHI HOTSPOT. Went with 4 other individuals and was a hit. Sashimi very Fresh and plated very well! The white tuna, wasabi mussels , short ribs, beef teriyaki and cali roll was fan favs. Our waiter was Kirk and he was fantastic he should be a roll model for all other waiters. Will be returning.
A very lower tier experience, especially when compared to other sushi restaurants. For the price that you pay per person on the weekend in particular (~$40), the sushi doesn t match. It s got a supermarket quality to it. The menu has a decent offering and the beef short ribs were definitely the best of what we tried. The maki rolls were not that tasty. The tempura dishes weren t nicely fried and crunchy. They were soft and cold with the whitest batter I ve ever seen. The atmosphere was typical of a sushi restaurant. But they also have the audacity to automatically charge a tip to your bill. I get that this is an industry practice but typically that is reserved for large parties - we were a party of two. And honestly, the service and food quality was not worth the tip. I practically had to hunt someone down to bring the bill over after we finished eating. Do not recommend.
It was a great eating experience. Im not a raw fish person, but they had avocado, cucumber and yam rolls. Delicious
Amazing food and a wide variety of choices Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie rolls Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs at all
Dont come here to eat lots. Last 3 times I came alone, early, hungry, ready to eat a lot. Every time I left still hungry. Doesnt matter if its busy or slow or if you try putting in large orders or many small orders. As soon as they can tell you came to eat quantity, they start trickling your food out incredibly slowly, trying to keep you from eating too much. Gave them too many chances, never going back. Try Kaka downtown, better sushi, fast service and they dont care if youre the guy they lose money on. Theyll still let you stuff yourself till youre actually full...
We choose take-out option, since we were planned to go on picnic to the nearby park. Our order was ready exactly in 20 min, as service message stated. We ordered 2 sets - 33 pieces in total Sushi itself is average at its best - nothing to add. For some reason, we get exactly 1 pice of napkin, 1 set of wasabi/ginger, 1 set of soy sauce (which wasnt enough for amount of sushi we ordered), 1 set of chopsticks and a fork. Overall - nothing special, just make sure youll specify (if youlldecide to visit) amount of chopsticks, soy sauce, etc, since restaurant workers dont ask this questions.
The food is amazing and the service is really good. The fish is delicious, and the beef with garlic is the best. This is the best Japanese food in Toronto.
Sushi wasnt as fresh as desired and the variety of rolls were limited on the party platter (one roll was solely slices of cucumber surrounded by rice... no sauces, no flavourings, no accouterments... just slices of cucumber...). Wouldnt recommend.
Went there again after a couple of years. I am happy to see their quality of food was still good for all you can eat sushi.
Giving one star for the food. The quality of food was horrible and nothing seemed fresh. The waygu beef sushi was definitely not waygu , sushi pizza was mediocre as it was just a piece of raw fish slapped onto fried rice. The sushi chips were just seasoned Pringles with raw fish cubes on top. STAY CLEAR FROM THE DIMSUM. It was the worst soup dumplings and Har Gaw I have ever tasted, did not even eat it as I spat it back out. I m Chinese so trust me on that. Couldn t stomach anymore as everything was horrible, ended up going to McDonalds after as they had better food.
The restaurant provided prompt service, served delicious food, and boasted an exceptional staff. Lysa, our server, was incredibly helpful, and Kirk, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Highly recommended!
This is a restaurant where you can eat authentic Japanese cuisine. All-you-can-eat sushi, not just sushi combos We have a wide variety of menu items such as donburi and bento . The inside of the store was kept clean and I liked the Japanese-style interior design. The katsudon I ordered is a little different from what Japanese people imagine. I discovered a new taste and was impressed. The miso soup and salad on the side were also fresh and delicious. Ive visited and eaten the sushi here several times, and its fresh and the presentation is very nice. The prices are also lower than other stores, so you can feel free to visit. All the staff are friendly and you can watch the nigiri sushi chefs in action! If you want to eat sushi around here, I definitely recommend Osaka Sushi Thank you so much
Enjoyed all the food. The staff are friendly and nice.
The food was good and Enzes service was awesome. Id definitely go back.
One of the best AYCE sushi places around Toronto. Really worth the visit!
Kid-friendliness: This is our tweens favorite restaurant Food
Food is consistently excellent, as was staff. The manager Kirk was over the top friendly, recommended different dishes, and always aware of everything going on. This is how a restaurant should run!
Great quality for ayce sushi. Portion size and freshness are both great. Wonderful service. Very attentive and kind. We had a birthday party and they were very accommodating! Will come again.
Service is good. Quality and taste of food is poor for the price. It s the same as most ayce sushi prices but it s lacking a lot in comparison. Food presentation is also unappetizing. Everything is way too small.
Went out for a date night with my girlfriend. We both ordered the same meal, as well as some apps. Her food came out, and figured since my order was the same it would be out shortly there after. I waited another 15 minutes even before I could get someones attention to mention it to them that they had forgotten my order. He then assured me that he would go check. Another 20 minutes went by, and by this time my girlfriend had already finished her meal and was ready to leave. At this point we finally saw our initial waitress and mentioned that the food never came out(this bring nearly an hour later and 2 people being notified that an order wasnt brought out to us). She then took another 20 minutes just to bring our bill out. To make matters worse they charge an already 13% service/tip fee regardless of what you feel the service was good or bad. What is more upsetting is that noone seemed to care, and spending a decent amount of money for what I considered to be a night out turned into a big waste of time. Not only was my order forgot about, but so was the gentleman who was sitting at the table next to me. As much as it seemed like a nice place to go to, I think for what was offered it was definitely a bit lack luster and definitely under performed. Maybe it was an off night for them which is why I didnt make an issue about it, but you would have thought they would have comped or offered to make the situation a little more of a better interaction. Safe to say I probably wouldnt recommend to go there again!
Friendly and helpful service, and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Definitely better than other all-you-can-eat sushi places. The hand rolls stood out for me, as well as the freshness of the wasabi and ginger.
Good sushi for the price and you get a 10% if you pay with cash. Parking: Lots of space for parking. The restaurant is part of a plaza. Food : 5/5 |
We really love spending time with our family in this establishment. The cuisine is becoming more diverse. And as always delicious!
Came here for the first time worst experience. Food was ok. But service was horrible takes for ever to get a server to come. Had some tempura sauce spill on table and the servers just look and walk away until I had to get up and stop one if them to help clean it up. Also this place you have to order food on a tablet yes thats convenient but when asking for the server on the tablet to come to give u the bill and it says on the tablet server on the way dont believe it they not coming took them 30 mins before I had to stop them yet again for the bill. And it wasnt even busy during that time we went. Dont come to this place not worth the price and service is horrible. Theres better places than this. Never coming back worst experience ever!!!
Service is pretty slow and confused. Sent my dish to next table and later sent the dish of next table to mine. Totally more than 5 times. Servers should be trained better. 13%tips.
This place is incredible, staffs were so nice to us. I enjoyed the food will definetly come back here. I love how the manager assist us right away. Hes so helpful to us I guess his name is Kirk. The best!
It was my nephews birthday and we celebrated his birthday here. The staff was incredible and sang him happy birthday. Kirk especially went above and beyond. He had an amazing customer service and made the experience that much more enjoyable!!!
Really great place to have in Scarborough for sushi. Service is super quick and friendly. Never had a bad experience in past 9 years.
Great sushi. And more. Friendly service. Pleasant dining experience. Order on a tablet, and the food comes to you.
Excellent service. Good quality food. They could benefit from expending the sashimi selection.
for all you can eat not bad ..food take along time tho
Special thank you to the Kirk and the rest of the staff for their above and beyond service. Food had great selection and came pretty quickly, tasted great compared to other AYCE sushi places. Was honestly surprised at the experience given the area. Definitely coming back!
Our first order was reasonably quick, even some items never arrived. However, when we entered the second order, we had to keep asking for the order status to different servers several times. Some of the food finally arrived after 45 minutes. Considering the restaurant was not busy at the time and other new tables kept receiving their food, it is clear that they intentionally slow down the service for second orders. I dont reco d Osaka Sushi - all you can eat.
Excellent AYCE sushi place. The taste was great with a lot of great options. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of food coming out. Usually, other places make you wait, but here it was amazing.
Dec 29 , we went for all you can eat. We ordered some sushi from 1:30PM, we never get it unitil we finished it at 3PM. Do not go there. the food is not too bad, but they hold some expensive item or ignored your order, just gave some cheap item to you.
This is close to the house, during COVID, we would order and pick up. Two of the last three visits, out order had to be found. Staff, while friendly, attentive to remove dirty plates, do not meet eye contact to get their attention.
I recommend this place! Quality is good!!
Went for my birthday. Delicious. All you can eat was worth it.
Food is great but last visit service was really bad
This was by far none the worst Sushi Ive ever eaten in my life. In all sincerity, this restaurant should be closed down
Definitely one of the best all you can eat sushi in Toronto. It was definitely worth the price and very fast service.
Best place to get sushi..very spacious and staff very courteous Even if alone you can get your food without hassle and enjoy to your hearts content
Great AYCE Sushi, fresh ingredients, great variety.
The quality of food is below average, I tried sushi in many many places, this one was tasteless and not so fresh food, the service was excellent though
Me and my wife s number one place. The best of the best.
Great food and service. Great price
This all-you-can-eat sushi joint is awesome! Fresh, tasty rolls with so many choices from classics to cool specials. The vibe is laid-back, and the staff is friendly. If youre into sushi, its a must-try. Great for casual outings and stuffing yourself with delicious bites!
Service charge is mandatory (2 adults and a toddler - AYCE) - Personally opinion, Most of the Rolls are a bit salty with too much added sauce, while ramen is tastless. Will not return.
Got a nice lunch here!
Staff were efficient and nice. I sat closer to the sushi bar, and honestly, I appreciated that the staff were quiet. It contributed to the pleasant experience. The sashimi and grilled foods were great. The xiao long bao and shrimp dumpling though were a bit underwhelming.
Food was so-so, miso soup was like salt water. Rolls were too dry.
Excellent food, a place you must go.
All you can eat with a tablet! Very good selections. Great for date night. Lunch is $10 cheaper than dinner price but honestly every dollar was worth it
Its actually one of our favorite restaurant, we come here once a month even before they change the name of the restaurant. (itamae) we really love the food..thank you for accommodating us today! Its our 12yrs wedding anniversary, my husband and my family enjoyed everything , as in everything
Great selection of fresh and well prepared food Very tasty mini desserts Vegetarian options: Great selection Food : 5/5 |
I had amazing experience today, we had our dinner there, it was a pleasant coincidence that led us to this beautiful jem, v delicouse food ,clean, reasonably priced, and v nice people working there, i highly recommend
Didn t like the automatic tip. There is no way to make it higher or lower
good food, waaay to long to wait to eat food, for dinner in 2pm hahaha
Great sushi. Generous portions a la carte.
delicious japanese restaurant
We went around lunch time and got their a la carte menu. I think the sashimi is a hit or miss depending on what youre ordering. Our salmon sashimi was good, but the tuna was still frozen and dry. I dont recommend their combo H because theres not a lot of fish, their egg sushi is too sweet. Their tuna Maki and deep fried milk was good. Overall, its good for the price.
For an AYCE, this is one of the best in Toronto! Recommend
Decent ayce but fairly pricey ($31) for Saturday lunch.
I placed an online order for pick up today. The online process was quick and easy and the food was delicious!
Muslim people pay attention please! Never come to this place to eat food !! Heres a waiter who told me that a lot of food is made from pork, the soup is made of pork, because it is pork soaked in soup and the foods are made with lard!! The boss said Halal is a lie....Also, they will charge 13% forced tips plus these tips never go to waiters hands. Bad quality foods plus bad service!!
Wow. Sushi is amazing. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Love it there. I definately recommend. A bit pricey but its worth it
One of the servers was extremely rude and insisted on us paying with cash even though I said many times I was treating a guest and preferred to pay with card. It s a shame because the first server was incredibly nice and friendly. Not returning here again due to the poor customer service experienced today.
Im always skeptical when I try a new sushi place but this restaurant has the best food and atmosphere. Its worth the trip! Ive been looking for a place like this which is closer to home than the other restaurant so I used to go to.
Way too pricey. $104.68 for 2 people. For all you can eat susi. No alcohol. Disappointed.
Patient staff, tremendous service, lots of selections, parking, terrific atmosphere, worthwhile experience.
Great place . Food is awesome!
If I can rate this place more than 5 stars I would. They offer quality sushi!!
The best ayce sushi in Toronto!! The dinner buffet is filled with variety, I have been to other spots but they lack variety for the price. The sashimi was very fresh and the service was fast.
Vegetarian options: Tasty Food
We had sushi, beef ramen and dumplings. Dumpligs were fresh, juicy and delicious. The ramen came with big portion and beef on the side and a hearty light flavourful soup. Sushi was great too. I loved it.
Wanted to share this review for the excellent service that our server Kurt provided. He was very courteous and helpful. He made sure to check up on our table from time to time and ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you, Kurt! Will definitely come back to this location due to his great service!
Our favourite sushi restaurant! We normally get the AYCE. There are days where we have to wait a bit longer for the food but other than that servers are very friendly and hardworking. Overall, the food and the service are amazing!
Fresh & tasty Sushi always , Coming here since 2013 Food
This our go to sushi place. We have been coming here for years. We always get the dinner option even if we go for lunch just to have more options. The food comes out fast and the service is pretty good. The only down side is at certain days the quality of their fried food products isn t as good compared to when they have fresh oil. But nonetheless this place is pretty solid compared to other all you can eat sushi places. When it comes to tipping, they already include it in your bill and its around $5 which I think is reasonable and when you pay cash, you get 10% off. Parking: It s located in a plaza so there s a lot of parking space! Wheelchair accessibility: They don t have any stairs so it s wheelchair accessible.
Pretty average for the price.
Amazing sushi and great staff. Came here after so long and still everything is the same
Great price point for an ayce
All you can eat restaurant, have lunch and dinner special which you can choose either one with different price and different dishes. Lunch special are $10 cheaper and with limited choice of dishes, while dinner special provides more variety. I come at around 2pm of four people and we prefer to take the dinner special. We had enjoyed the variety of tasty food very much.
Excellent location. Good value for the money
Excellent food and service. A bit pricey but worth it. Food
Place and people are great. Food and prices okay. My kid was happy and the staff was wonderful so good experience overall.
Ever since sushi, Kiku went out of business on Don Mills, I ve been looking for an all you can eat sushi place. I think this is it, as the fish is tasty. But the service was really poor. They make you order on the iPad, but it doesn t seem like, they are aware of what you ordered. I had to wait 50 minutes, and nothing was coming out, and I had to stop various waiters to demand my food, and even then they weren t looking at my order they were just bringing me whatever I was verbally asking for. Poor experience, good food I ll try it again maybe. Updated 8/19 - I went back and the service was just as poor and the sushi quality was poor. The chef did a bad job of building a maki roll. Overall low quality food and service. Not recommended.
Customer service perfect...attentive what the customer need...
We were very impressed with Osaka on a Sunday night. The place was quite clean and the staffs here were super nice and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious, they had lots of food to choose from for AYCE. Sashimi was pretty fresh, overall had a great experience and will be coming back in the future. Update: Still to this day I stand by my review. The staff provides excellent service every time. Food came out very quickly and still just as tasty.
Overall, we had a fair experience. The quality of their sushi wasn t worth the price we paid.
Wonderful sushi restaurant with friendly & welcoming staff with delightful service! All of the dishes that we had ordered were served nothing less then perfection, we didn t have to wait long at all, plenty of vegetarian options à la cart and a decent variety + generous amount of sushi for the vegetarian combo. The restaurant has a modern appeal and it s very clean one of the best sushi restaurants! An added bonus is that it s very reasonably priced : Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian sushi options à la carte along with a vegetarian combo with 18 pcs for 18.99 Parking: Huge parking lot,
Phenomenal service!!! Special thanks to Kirk, what a lovely gentleman! (Give this man a raise) Food
Osaka Sushi is fabulous! Love ordering on the app. The food is so fresh & comes out hot & quick. Its lovely inside as they renovated. The prices are great! I can hardly wait to go back.
My only AYCE sushi place in easy access...expensive but delicious 40$ a person typically buuuut worth it. Food : 5/5
Sushi was ok. Some pieces loosely rolled and fell apart easily but taste was great.
I have been going to this place for quiet some time now and I can certainly say that its an amazing place. I didn t like the atmosphere and the service there before but i think there has been a staff change and now its just one of the best sushi places and definitely my favourite. The servers are very kind and friendly and the manager was also an extremely friendly person. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
To start off, I would just like to say this place is perfect. I ordered the crab meat sushi, crab meat california rolls, shrimp dumplings and takoyaki. The crab meat sushi was my first taste of crab meat and Im glad it was at Osaka Sushi because they really did it justice. The california rolls were just as good and all the ingredients tasted really fresh. I dont know what happened but the shrimp dumplings felt like cloud 9, they were yummy, warm and you could use the sauces to taste so that just made the experience even better. The takoyaki went beyond what I expected, it was so soft and the sauce was absolutely delicious with the wheat balls of yummy goodness and of course the iconic squid filling really made it fulfilling. I used to be hesitant around seafood and really picky concerning the seafood I ate but Osaka Sushi turned that around for me with a complete 360 because I adore seafood now. So clearly the food was a 5 star. For the service, all the employees were very kind and respectful and it was a really warm place to be in because of how welcoming they were, Ive never been subject to such impeccable service so I hope Osaka Sushi knows how great I felt after I left. Another 5 stars for the service. Then theres the atmosphere and that was also clearly a 5 star because of the 5 star food and the 5 star service. I love this place and Ive been spam-recommending it to all my friends and when I realized I could write a review and spam-recommend it to the public, I decided to do exactly that so pleasepleaseplease if youre looking for a great place to eat sushi, Osaka Sushi is for you.
The sushi was so good! Last time I had fresh rice/fish like this was definitely not at an all you can eat!! It exceeded the expectations by a lot! Service was also so warm and welcoming Will definitely be back Food
To enjoy fresh and delicious sushi and experience excellent service, I definitely recommend visiting this place. They have specials and discounts for birthdays and seniors.
Best sushi;)
Food so good! Great service... worth the price... COME EVERYONE!
Food was great and service was also very good. They add a 12% service charge automatically so keep that in mind. Would come back :)
Everything for my dads birthday was met with excellence here. Highly accommodating staff.
Very good food! Fresh and delicious! Really recommend this restaurant))) Atmosphere is good, service fast and kind)) We like this place
We were close to closing so some things were unavailable but have been before and it has been excellent
Booked a 9-person reservation for a birthday yesterday. Honestly, some of the best and kindest service from staff. The manager was very attentive and went above and beyond expectations alongside his peers.
Service was great smiling staff and food was fresh and delicious. Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant friendly Food : 5/5 |
Excellent food and atmosphere. A special thanks to Kirk for wonderful customer service.
Food was great. Waitresses were awesome too
Went during lunch. Love the food, they had WAGYU Sushi and Eel sushi that was amazing. Other great item was the beef teriyaki. I would say the are the best for making beef teriyaki. Though the price was even higher, I think it compensate for the food. Best go with ppl that can eat and eat your moneys worth.
Food is fine, but the staff seems really stretched thin. like everyone was nice and doing their best, but there is only so much you can do when you are understaffed. Expect to be charged a service fee on top of your bill. unless you are starving and ready to over eat its unlikely you will get your moneys worth.
The overall experience was mediocre; the food was just okay, reminiscent of a casual all-you-can-eat sushi spot. However, our visit was marred by the early onset of cleaning activities an hour before closing, accompanied by a strong bleach smell that forced us to leave. Adding to the oddities, they tack on a 26% charge to the bill, but if you pay in cash, you receive a 10% discount on top of that. All in all, not much interest in going there again.
Great menu excellent Sushi. would recommend. Wheelchair accessibility: %100 Accessible Food : 5/5 |
Great place to have Sushi and Japanese dishes. The service is great and the prices are reasonable for the quality. Love the food and the atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Theres quite a few vegetarian options available, you wont be disappointed.
Everything is fresh and delicious
Always a great spot to grab sushi. Fresh, large portions and nice presentation. The staff is super friendly accommodating. Bring cash for a discount. Oh and for some reason the chocolate ice cream they have is amazing! Lol. Highly recommend this place.
Not my favourite sushi AYCE experience. While the service was great, staff were very friendly, and it was easy to get a quick table, the food was mediocre. Wasnt the best quality, the grilled meats were good, but the sushi did not taste super fresh.
Worst AYCE sushi place that Ive been to. Went here for a friends birthday and my partner got food poisoning. Their food is salty, overcooked, undercooked, and overall unsatisfying! Never coming here again!
We go a couple times per month for years now and weve never had sushi or teppanyaki that wasnt fresh! Kirk, the manager, is so friendly and goes above and beyond! All the servers are very nice and attentive. This is our go-to sushi place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
If i could give this place zero stars i would. Worse All you can eat Sushi place. I went here for a friends birthday lunch recently and it was a horrible experience. The food was not good. Too salty, overcooked, undercooked, cold, just not good at all. The staff were rude and unprofessional. They would look directly at you and start laughing. On top of it all i ended up getting food poisoning :( Would NOT recommend going here.
