I had the veggie chimichangas with hot sauce on the side and it was fantastic! Will definitely be eating here again.

I really like this little Mexican place. Food is great. I have been twice and it totally satisfied my craving for Mexican (not Tex Mex). The vibe is super bright and fun. This recent visit it was winter so I found the space cold. Previously I visited and enjoyed the patio. This is a recommended spot to visit.

Pricey quality tasty Mexican food. Try the beef flautas or the bunuelo. Great refried beans. Like the complementary fresh made Nachos served with mild and spicy salsa. This location has been a neighborhood institution for over 3 decades. Over the years its quality has generally held up, though the prices have gone up significantly.

Looks like a very nice authentic fresh Mexican restaurant I was wanting to go in and get lunch but I ended up realizing that the opportunity was not in my budget at the moment for a quick lunch This place looks very nice for a first date Reasonably priced for a nice night out with fresh food I would only imagine that the service is great because I was very nicely greeted when I walk to the door I bought a nice piece of fresh carrot cake from them for $12

Food was excellent, service was a little too laid back and we had to flag the server down for dessert after he cleared out dishes and didnt bother asking us if we wanted anything else.

Good place, testy food

Great food and amazing service. Their meat is also halal if that is a concern for you. They have a spacious patio. You can book this place for parties and events. We had a 24-people party there last weekend. Everyone was happy and satisfied with their order. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Amazing food.

In search for a centrally located Mexican restaurant to meet with friends, landed on this. Food and service was good. Ambience, not so much. Restaurant had a musky smell as soon as we entered. Wanted to leave, but ended up staying as did not want to spend time searching for a new place. Smell is like AC and refrigeration unit running and then when u turn off and dont open doors. Basic decor, but the lady who showed menu was very cordial, so stayed. Food was freshly prepared and tasty. Would have liked a little more Guac on the Chimichangas. Dont remember seeing it. Toronto in general lacks good Mexican restaurants, outside of downtown core. Decore is usually overdone with ceramic designs.

Ordered takeout from here last night. Ceviche was super fresh and delicious, good tacos and the corn was the BEST.

Quality of the food was poor and so was the customer service I received. I will not be a returning customer.

Ordered for delivery from their website, was given delivery time and asked for address, was given a price for a delivery fee. An hour and a half later when we called about our order we were told it has been waiting at the restaurant for pickup. When we asked why it was not delivered the person on the phone would not answer the question and just kept asking if we wanted it delivered now then (after it had been sitting in the restaurant for over an hour). We refused the delivery at that point. Very disappointed with the service.

Great food, TERRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE. We ordered through their online service around 7 pm on a Sunday night and were told it would take an hour to deliver. Around 8:15 I called to make sure the order was on the way and the person on the phone said it just went out for delivery and would be there soon. We live around a 6 minute drive from the restaurant... 8:40 we call again and the person on the phone says that the driver is stuck in traffic.... on a sunday night???? There was no traffic. We finally got our food around 9 pm. The food was good but because of the terrible delivery service we will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Best Mexican food I have had in Toronto. Their lunch special is really good (chips, soup, main) and comes to $15 with tax. If you are in the area I would highly recommend this restaurant!

The food here is amazing. Their burritos are probably one of my favourite things we eat there at least once a week. The staff there are always extremely friendly and their servings are very generous. A true authentic Mexican Restaurant, would highly recommend trying this place if your looking for a great meal !

Low quality food . Service ok I got a chilaquiles extremely spicy they didn t even notice me about it . I got sick and after fist bite I had to put them in the garbage.

So disappointed with my recent experience. Ordered a veggie burrito, which was full of mushy vegetables that had obviously been in the freezer for too long. I was expecting grilled peppers and onions, but got frozen broccoli and carrots. The rice was full of mushy canned beans. Zero flavour. The best part of the meal was the salad dressing that came on the side. Definitely won t be coming back.

Authentic food

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the quesadilla and chimichanga dishes. The restaurant took lots of safety measures to make sure we felt comfortable dining on the patio. We will definitely be back!

Went a while back . Just passed by and remembered how disappointed I was with the food. Moved back in the area and was excited to go . The food wasnt good and they charged me for the food I said to take back and we ordered something else. They were rude and they lost a customer that would have been a regular and good for business.

I give it 4 stars because the truth is that the seasoning is very good, they serve you in a very good way and the space, even though it is small, is pleasant, the only but that I give it is that the air conditioning they have is very small for the place and it does not supply....

I come here every time I get my tattoos done, staff here is super friendly and service is 10 out if 10, I love the spicy soup they have and Mexican lasagna I had today was EPIC. Totally suggest if youre passing by

Went there for lunch @ patio. Nice and clean (including washroom down in the basement). Service is excellent. They followed guideline of COVID-19 on social distancing. Server explained to us ahead of time food &d drink will be served with takeout containers and plastic utensils. Good to being notified in advance.

Hidden gem Moved here from California a long time ago so Im used to good mexican food. I have to say this is demos authentic place that Ive seen in Toronto. I cant believe this place is not more popular than it is if anyone has a chance please venture out and check it out its definitely worth the time

My girlfriend and I had the Chicken Tacos and they were delicious! I am very glad there s some great authentic Mexican restaurant in the area!

Was not impressed with the burrtio. I chose pulled beef and the beef was super dry and the overall burrito had no good sauce/flavors added. I asked for hot sauce and it was not added. Giving them a 3 stars because my friends orders were decent. This was an uber eats order.

I didnt like the pozole, they only gave me a tortilla chip with cream and the pozole didnt have any meat, it was disgusting.

Good food at this location on Bathurst. Liked the enchiladas and tacos, although some of the other other options are just OK.

AWESOME vegan options... and theyre so friendly! My only gripe would be sometimes they include dairy cheese shreds in their beans but you can tell its in good spirit and not intentional. My favourite entree is their soy curl fajitas. The flavours are just simply incredible! Definitely my go-to spot when I crave vegan hispanic cuisine. **Updated 22/10/20 @ 5:17PM** Did not know the cheese shreds and sour cream were also vegan. That is wonderful, thank you!

Ordered the Vegan tacos, enchiladas and burritos on a group order. Tacos and enchiladas were beyond amazing and flavourful. Would definitely order those items again. I applaud this restaurant for making Vegan Mexican food accessible and tasty. However, the burrito definitely needs improvement as its very dry and the layering was not done correctly. The first half of the burrito was just broccoli, bean cheese in the middle and the gauc smashed into the last bit. It was very difficult to eat.

Honestly, I really wish it was better that it was. Its right across the street from me, so convenient, I love that they kept it authentic in decor with the colors. This was my second time giving them a shot, and I just cant say great things. The portions are small for the price, the meats are not properly spiced or marinated to capture a taste. The only thing I enjoy is the hot salsa for the tortilla they bring you in the beginning. Great taste, they should definitely sell it if they make it in house.
