Vegetarian options: Chana Bhatura Food

ITS HORRIBLE! Stay away from this place if you are Mexican. They are Indian staff who have no idea what a Mexican taco is, they dont even heat the tortillas, they put cold cheese in the tacos, they dont melt it, the beans are cold and flavorless, the canned ones taste much better . They should not use the Mexican concept for their business if they do not have any idea what they are preparing.

Second time coming and definitely the last. Portion is very small, it was even smaller this time than last time for the same tocorrito bowl. Didnt have much selection because they said they were out. No pork, no sauce, no Nacho chips. Beware of cross contamination if you have allergies, there was bits of cheese in everything. Dietary restrictions: Not allergy friendly

Butter chicken burrito is a life changing experience. The vibe is fantastic. Sampled the fish was bar-none the best. Adi, the host, is super friendly. Eat here.

My very picky 12 year-old son said that this was in the top 10 meals he has ever had, so we ll definitely be back. We all had the butter chicken burritos and they were truly exceptional. Adi s service was amazing!

This restaurant definitely does not make Mexican food, they only use the name to sell Indian food, the typical flavors and smells of Mexican cuisine are not found here at all.

Great food, reasonable pricing and awesome staff

Good place overall. Great effort to offer Mexican and Indian food under one roof. Halal option is a great idea to serve growing halal market in GTA. Kind of disappointed how Indian food was looking as it seemed little stale. Plus there was a typical Indian spices smell and table cleanliness that made me not give 5 star for the atmosphere. Anyway, we got a Burrito and 3 hard-shell Tacos. Quality of food tasted was ok.

Horrible, got order all wrong, asked for 2 burritos and instead got 2 salads. Also we ordered drinks and they were wrong to. Never order from this restaurant again

Worst tacos I have ever had. It looked like the meat was sitting out since the morning. I cant even explain how its tasted. Wasnt it. Couldnt eat 2/3 because it was literally so bad now my stomach is hurting. Got guac and chips too and the guac tasted so chemically like they mix something in it to make it last longer. Will never return

This is by far the worst tacos I ve ever had. The staff was extremely slow making them and the meat looked like it had been sitting out for hours. It tasted like what I assumed dog food would taste like. Absolutely disgusting and wouldn t recommend. STAY AWAY!

Amazing experience and the staff were very friendly especially Umair. He guided me through the unfamiliar menu which was really helpful since it was my first time trying any Indian food.

Had a fabulous lunch! Sam was incredibly friendly and helpful, established rapport, and helped me decide between two options (settled on the sweet chili cauliflower burrito, and I promised to come back to try the butter chicken). My boyfriend had the pork burrito and it was made just to his liking. Toppingg options were great. The large burrito could definitely cover two meals - great value. Im glad to have found this gem near my work!

DO NOT EAT FROM HERE, i visted this place at 11pm and got two tacos one beef and chicken, ended up throwing it all up 2 hours later in cold sweats. they leave the food out for hours on end claiming the hot water under keeps it fresh. The service when i asked for a refund devalued my experience and was gaslighting me saying it couldnt have been the food. I will not be eating here ever again.

Very kind staff, but very mediocre, overpriced food. I got a chicken burrito that was very bland. I also got the butter chicken that was $14! The portions were so small, it should have been $6 at the most. The butter chicken was so sweet as well, and did not taste authentic at all which should bring the cost down to $4.

This place was really bad. I have really low standards for food, I will eat anything but even this place was too disappointing. I got the Tacorrito bowl and they were so stingy with the portions. Barely a bowl. There was so little rice and meat, only some sprinkled lettuce. My friend thought I got a salad. Food didnt taste good either. Better to go to the McDonalds across the parking lot.

Portion is incredibly small I am definitely not one to complain but I asked them if they had more cauliflower since whatever was left was not enough. I was told yes but wasn t even given any more the worst part was that the cauliflower and onion was extremely stale and burnt. It should have not been served and thrown out. Although it looks like beans my photo showcases the cauliflower!

Maybe I just lucked out reading all the bad reviews but it was surprisingly so fresh and delicious like completely no fault in anything. Absolutely delicious and fresh.

If you want real burritos go somewhere else this place serves cold meats inside the burrito and it doesnt even have any flavor to it

Interesting mexican and hindu fusion

By far is the worse Mexican food I ever tried. Quality to price ration is not reasonable. I feel like overpaying for garbage food. Meets in tacos cold, and most of the ingredients are tasteless. NOT RECOMENDED

I got food poisoning after eating from this place. I thought it was something else that got me sick. two days after my mother and father got sick from this place as well.

I order Three hard shell ground beef tacos and three soft shell chicken tacos for my roommate and me. I would not recommend the hard shell tacos or ground beef. The beef was bland. The hard shell tacos taste stale and were chipped and broken before the attendant began making my order. The Soft shell chicken taco was fine. You could make better on your own at home with a commercial taco kit. Overall I dont recommend this place head over to Dufferin by yorkdale and go to any of the Mexican shops there, or spend the extra 17 minute dive and go to King Tacos on Dufferin and St. Claire

Loved the food especially thali and biryani was so delicious! We ordered chicken tikka, butter chicken and chana tasted amazing. Chana bhatura is excellent .The spicy level was exactly the way we expected! Overall, we loved this place and had a wonderful dinner!

First off, If you plan to visit this place, pack a lunch. There was 3 people ahead of me and took nearly an hour be served. When I finally did get around to being served they were short changing me on everything. I can legit count the beans, the rice and the corn she put on there leaving me to ask if Im taking money out of her pocket, to which I got I wont be able to wrap it properly which she didnt. They even messed up a roti special. Not only did they messe the food up, they even mispelt spectial... worst customer service. Worse food. Waste of time and money

It was my first time here and I ordered veg taco bowl and I wouldnt visit again or recommend to someone. Price was higher compare to website and when I ask the girl she said they just increase the price in store so she cant honor their own website price. Not only that the qty of ingredients she was adding to my bowl was not not even enough and I can literally count on cheese, rice and beans and other ingredients in my bowl, and when she was done I can see that half of my bowl was empty. Not worth the price. This shows how well the staff is trained and instructed on adding qty. If owner is reading this review sorry to say but you should definitely try other Mexican place and see what they give for the price they charge. If you charge your customers than be generous and dont be cheap in quantity.

Ordered spicy fish and chips. Fish was soggy and made earlier. Definitely wasn t freshly made. Fries was ok. Won t go there anymore. I only recognized the fish from the taste. Looked something else. I was hungry so I ate it. Wish me luck

Came here this evening for a quick dinnertime, they advertise vegan cheese. We got so excited. They didnt have any to offer. They didnt offer any discount and charged us full price. They advertise the salad so large in the picture on the menu and its half the price for 10$ - Rip off

FishBurrito are my favorite, I am sort of addicted to it. So far the best fish burrito in town. I always call in advance and my order is always as required and made on time. Masala Naan is also my favorite from the menu. A must visit place.

The staff is very rude. They cannot handle the customers. I ordered from doordash Mexican fries and tacos. But when the fries arrived they were soggy and they gave some green chutney instead of salsa. tacos were not properly filled. I called the restaurant but they girl told me that you need to choose salsa, but there is no option in the door dash. I went there personally and girl who was the traniee gave me an attitude you need to choose and all. Later I asked her for adding guacamole she said thats charge extra. We went buy bus there and they were not ready to accept there mistakes instead showed me the attitude. The worst restaurant I have seen here.

I came around 8pm on Sept 13. Two girls were working. No hair nets. I feared for hair in my food. Also, the food was ice cold.

Their sweet chilli cauliflower is quite possibly the best burrito filler I ve had. It alone will bring me back time and time again. 10/10 recommend.

Worst burrito experience Ive had in a while. Ingredients were not fresh, lettuce was turning brown and overall just bad. Nothing good to say here... go somewhere else. Even McDonalds in the same parking lot would have been better... Gross.

This was surprisingly tasty for a quick spot. Quality was decent. Portion sizes were a little small with only one tiny scoop of meat on each taco. But the flavor was good. The flour tortillas make it feel a bit nostalgic for old El paso kits youd have as a kid. The sweet chili cauliflower was very good! For a fast lunch spot this definitely hit the spot. But nothing to write home about either.

PLEASE DON T EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DESTROY YOUR TOILET Food was disgusting. Beans were HARD undercooked and they were sitting in water which made my entire bowl SOGGY. The sour cream and burrito sauce is just water add on top of the beans which made it almost a stew not a bowl. Chicken was hard. No fresh ingredients. Service was okay but this one brown employee just super loud when dealing with high school kids yelling across the entire restaurant when she was too lazy to go up to them herself. Not a good experience. Go to any other burrito place than this.

The worst taco in the city!

I ordered a burrito through Uber Eats. The burrito I ordered was cold. It was also falling apart and sloppy. Overall, I would not recommend buying from this location ! My order number is #ED788. Please do something about this.

Decided to try this joint and it was underwhelming. VERY cold when it arrived, the tacos were soggy and unappealing. Not the Uber Drivers fault but it was handed off already cold and the restaurant had the audacity to ask for more time because it was busy. First impression is everything and unfortunately we were not impressed. UPDATED on 01.27.20 I sent them a email as instructed but never got back to me. Not looking good.

The food was so tasty

The staff are friendly. The tacos are good, certainly would recommend ordering the fish. The prices are affordable (3 for $9.50). I like the fact that there are options for vegan, including their sauce. The churros are small in size (2 for $4) but taste delicious. They open late which makes it a great place to get that midnight snack craving satisfied.

They work until 10 at night. And for 10 cad you can eat well.

Ordered the Tacorrito bowl for delivery through Uber and it was terrible. It was 2/3 pure liquid, contents of the dish were literally floating. Once liquid drained there was very little of the bowl contents. Went straight in the garbage. I called to complain and the staff were rude and did not apologize for the poor quality of food or unsatisfactory order.

I order Uber eats .. FOOD WAS COOL and guacamole was rotten.

Tried it today. The service and food is good! However the tips extortion through the paying terminal makes me come here less often. I should not be asked what amount of tips do you want to give?. It makes me uncomfortable to select no tips and it makes an awkward situation selecting that. But overpaying for tips is also a choice I dont want to make. So the only solution - come here less often or avoid the place all together.

I enjoyed a regular burrito with sweet chili cauliflower as my protein and it was absolutely delicious. The heat of the salsa mixed with the sweetness of some pineapple was a great mix. Highly recommended as a vegetarian option.

The burrito bowl was too runny, too much sauce and too little rice, beans and corn. The nachos tasted like they were fried in salty acid. The best part of this meal was the canned soda.

This place is amazing! Wonderful selection for their mexican and indian side. They take care of all social distancing rules and make sure everything is safe. They have amazing customer service and treat everyone with respect and kindness. Love going there!

Ive tried both the Mexican and Indian sides of this place. The Mexican food is meh at best. The Indian food on the other hand is pretty good albeit a little inconsistent. I always order the Daal (lentils) on rice with Chana (chickpeas) on the side. The Daal never tastes the same twice in a row. They used to always up-sell the naan when the older gentleman was around (as he used to make it). The last few times I have been there, the oven doesnt even seem to be on.

Butter chicken burrito is amazing

A complete & utter disappointment. I ordered from here via Uber Eats with my coworkers and we were shocked that our tacos arrived cold, soggy to the point of falling apart and our fish tacos had a curry flavour. We will definitely not be ordering from this place again.

Best place to enjoy indian and Mexican Food.

It was a good burrito with satisfying fillings. And the large was huge - it must be at least half again the size of Chipotles large. The counter person packed everything up neatly, but looked and acted like she wanted to be somewhere else -- I guess the smiles arent free...

This is actually 2 restaurants in one. Hurry Curry and Tacorrito I bought a large burrito and a can of pop. The quality of the food was good. The service was satisfactory. The cleanliness was not bad. The price was also reasonable. HOWEVER. Tipping should be ONLY at the 100% decision of the customer and it shouldnt be sort of kind of extorted via the Tip suggestion on the card machine.
