Traditional Persian food
Great food, great service, very clean. Good portion. Highly recommended.
We love coming to this piece of Persian heaven. During the week, we always get joojeh wrapped in taftoon and tomatoes. It's so healthy, fresh and delicious. We came here for breakfast and they did not disappoint. The tea is piping hot and tasty, the Haleem is authentic, and the eggs with tomatoes are enjoyable alongside fresh barberry bread. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, and the Iranian decor is so cute. You are always greeted with happy faces, and the owner is always ensuring the guests have a pleasureable experience. Even if it is just take out.
The place is Persian!!! Food quality is not bad but not the best! Little bit pricey!!! Their wraps are amazing, very flavourful and fresh cooked! Friendly and polite staff and owner! One important thing! Their bread is not fresh and not even preheated in oven!!!
If you don't live in Richmond Hills and crave good, authentic Persian food, there is a nice little, well decorated and good Persian restaurant located close to Finch and Dufferin. The food is good, really good. I ordered Dizi, that is Persian Soup and it was served in traditional tray and dishes with all codimends, fresh, good and tasty. The restaurant is rather small but it's decorated with love and the owner is gentle, kind and caring. There is plenty of parking around and the tea was fantastic as well.
my first experience was pleasant! I heard of this place and was told that they have a Persian dish called Ab-Goosht/ Dizzi( meaning beef juice in Farsi). If you want more details I suggest you look it up online lol! Staff were very friendly and welcoming and served us well! The food was decent served with fresh bread (sangak also a Persian bread fresh baked on pebble stone) Overall happy with my experience! Give it a try if you want to try some authentic Persian dishes
It is definitely a Persian restaurant not a Turkish one!! They even serve Persian dishes rather than Turkish ones. The only Turkish option they had in the time we visited was Pide which was not available at the moment! Despite the name which is not current and should change, their food is good. All dishes were delicious and the price was logical. When we visited the place, the ventilation didn't work at all and the space was full of kebab smoke!! That's why I deducted a point with the hope that they address the issue currently. Their Boghche kebab was unique and highly recommended. Pros (+) and Cons (-) summary: + Food quality and price + Friendly staff + A DJ playing some music - Ventilation - incorrect naming as it should be Persian not Turkish.
FOLLOW MY FOOD REVIEW IG: snackinwithstasia 🔥 AMAZING! This was my first ever time trying Turkish kebab, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place accidentally and decided to try it out on a whim. We went around 8 pm or so on a random Wednesday, and whoever the older man was serving us (he wasn’t the owner, but he was very sweet and helpful nonetheless!) pulled out all the stops to make our late night comfort food experience the best ever! The place is quaint, with a lovely village-esque atmosphere, and the food is to die for. He gave us warm butter lentil soup on the house as a special surprise since this was my first time having traditional Turkish food, and my god, the soup was amazing. I would return just for that alone LOL I’ll actually be going tomorrow night with my boyfriend again, because he’s been dying to try their shisha, and I’ve been dying for their rice and lentil soup again!
We've been to this restaurant with our family. We tried Karniyarik and Inkarbeyendi for entry, it was amazingly true to it's origin. The main meal was mixed turkish grilled meat including Doner Kebab, Iskender Kebab and Adena Kebab. By far, it's the best Doner we have ever eaten in Toronto area. The host, Mrs Nazila was friendly too! We really enjoyed our experience.
Not a turkk sh restoran
Food is so delicious and the service is perfect Everything thing was Food
Awesome food. We really enjoyed our tasty food. Try their spicy dizi. I m not a fan of dizi in general. But this tasted absolutely delicious. We ll definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends.
Parking: Right in front of the restaurant
Here is one of the best Persian restaurant in toronto. All of their menu is very delicious .
This place has the best Persian food in town! I have been to almost all Persian restaurants and by far this restaurant takes the lead. We went there yesterday as a group of 15(9 kids under 6) and they were so nice and the services was amazing. The family platter was so delicious, the jigar was also amazing and don t even get me started on the dizi it was bomb! Highly highly recommend that you try it out if you are looking for amazing Persian food. Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Amazing with kids we had 9 kids under the age of 6 and they were amazing
Good restaurant
Awesome food. Stomach feels great after. Highly recommend.
Ive been to many Persian restaurants in Toronto, but none of them were like here. The taste of meals here is so close to legit Persian food. The taste is somehow nostalgic for me. I strongly suggest this restaurant. I have also been here to try Dizzi, it was awesome as well. Vegetarian options: Not too diverse in terms of veggi. Kid-friendliness: The place is safe for kids.
We will definitely be back. We enjoyed our time at this place . Food was good and fresh , price is ok . Not many people , so we got our order pretty quick
The food was amazing rice and quality of the food is very nice homey and to my surprise it was an absolutely amazing experience ! Highly recommend their kabobs also their rice is unique.
Ventilation was very bad, we couldn t breath. This restorant place is good area but this company looks so poor.
Was such a great experience, very delicious and fresh foods with warm host in cosy and traditional style place, highly recommended
loved it!!
Very good
Amazing food. Turkish Coffee was very refreshing. Food was authentic and staff was very welcoming and friendly. A great find.
Definitely this is not a Turkish restaurant. It is just a bad imitation. They are reducing the quality of Turkish food by using the name of a Turkish restaurant. Visiting this place will be a disappointment especially for those who will try Turkish food for the first time. The inside of the restaurant was dirty, dusty and messy. One person both served as a waiter/caisher and prepared the meals. So, the food was brought late. I guess when the owners of restaurant ate Turkish food, they thought they could. But food was tasteless and poorly cooked. Most things on the menu were not available. You dont waste your money and time.
I am an expert kebab eater but this place is even better than home kebab, love the food, i am a permanent customer, very nice staff too...
Amazing kunefe, saffron rice and kebab platter.
We went to Koy Evi restaurant Friday night after the nearby Mandarin restaurant was full. The restaurant was completely empty. It was pretty warm since there wasnt any air conditioning. There was an outside patio. We ordered some kebab dishes. The food was pretty good and tasty, but nothing special. The food wasnt Turkish, but Persian. Would we come back to this restaurant? No since it was in the middle of nowhere.
The food we got was tasty. However, they did not deliver the yogurt sauce or desert that we ordered, and they charged us for them. No one answered the phone when we called to see what happened. So yeah, good food but if you get it delivered, check your order twice before the delivery guy leaves.
The staff were amazingly friendly and polite. The food was the best of the best. Highly recommended.
Very unprofessional and disrespectful with low staff an untrained employee
one of the best restaurants i ever have gone . the food was delicious and so tasty. highly recommended to go.
Price is not reasonable Quality is very poor Environment is low level In nut shell I strongly recommend no waste money and time Very bad memories
Wow , it was one of the best foods that I ve ever tried. Strongly recommended. I couldn t say how delicious it was.
Me, my wife and my friends ordered ABGOSHT it was not bad. Only there was not enough bread and we were charged more for a little bread.
They were so friendly and the Dizy was awesome.
One of the best Persian restaurants in Toronto. Delicious food and great staff. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great Food and Service. Highly recommended Dizi is a MUST!!!!!!!
Best food and best service ! I definitely recommend it to everyone ! Make sure try Abgoosht and koobideh
Poor quality, they serve stale bread with dishes. Washroom is super dirty and full of flies.
Good personal and professional with tasty food
The food is okay, not the best but also not bad. The prices however seem high for what youre getting.
Delicious food and good service and good quality
Lovely Turkish/Iranian restaurant that is good at both cuisines. I tried their Iranian pizza which was great but also tried their beef doner which was phenomenal and surprisingly not fatty - despite its huge portion size, I was able to eat it without feeling bloated. Their koobideh kebab was great too. The staff/owners are super friendly and really into what they do, everything is done fresh and with passion, even the decor has a warm homely touch to it. Highly recommend Koy Evi.
I have never seen any Turkish restaurant like this. Workers can not speak English( just a little) or Turkish. Also, inside is very dirty. Empty drink bottles, glass etc. Nobody is wearing gloves while preparing the foods. They are not professional. I can t go there again.
Amazing food with good portions.
Best coffee ever...
Most delicious food!
Amaizng customer service. Played Korean songs just for us. Thanks for the exceptional service KOYEVI team! Food 10/10
I ordered adana kebab. The quality is perfect and the taste is amazing as always. I really appreciate their work!
Wow wow wow Their food is just next level, I definitely recommend to go there if your a fan of Persian/Turkish food. I went there for my bday they give me a Baklava and tea for free. The owner is a great couple who are providing great food and service. Their shisha was incredible, I am definitely going back to them best Persian food we ve everrr tried in GTA.
The food and service was 5-star!! Amazing Koobideh, eggplant appetizer and we also had a full plate of sultana (chicken) with bulger and rice. Would definitely recommend! Not the fanciest outside, but the food was great!
Ive had koobidae from many places. This is the best one. Only place Id go to
high quality food, welcoming owner. what more can you ask for? thanks KOYEVI
Love this place , so cute & cozy . Great vibe, friendly owners & employees. Persian, turkish & kurdish music. Authentic & delicious food ! Patio in the summer time too ! Definitely reccommend
This is a very cute and cozy restaurant. The inside of the restaurant will take you back into village life. And the food is just amazing. Wry healthy food. Worth the visit.
Cubby
Good food but horrible service, went there once , half of the menu was not available , the rest took a while to make . So second time called ahead and ordered food , they said sure come by . Sounded like they had no idea what I said . Anyways went there , no one spoke english and they hadnt got anything ready . I only get 30 min of lunch and cannot afford to wait there for 20 min to get my food . The food is okay , hence the second try . awful ownership. Its funny seeing all these reviewers here with one review only . Go figure...
Outstanding service, excellent atmosphere, and even better food. Will definitely be going back soon and spreading the word.
Good food, very nice owner. Cozy environment
It is noisy place. Service isnt well also.
Very bad food......
Food is really fresh and delicious. Owner (Nazi) is so sweet and friendly she invited me and my friends for a turkish desert and tea for free! I highly recommend this place
Bad service, lady took my order my food came in 40 minutes .... this place won t last long
Not what we were hoping for! The place, the food, the service, nothing was adequate to bring us back. Not terrible, but not good enough.
The food was delicious! The chicken and beef were so juicy! The saffron added lots of flavour to the rice. The people who worked here were just as amazing, as I saw a lot of smiling, making for a pleasant conversation. I enjoyed my experience here and I cannot wait to come back. From, Bibi, Jerry, and Steph
Tasted great! Very flavorful
You can taste Great quality of Turkish food here
Amazing food!!! The very best I have tried in this area...
I think its important to have an option for people to call orders in by phone. Especially during a pandemic. Its not easy finding you on Uber eats when I am coming from another city to buy your food then go to work. I was willing to try your food but its not meant to be.
I ordered Adana Kebab from over Uber Eats. I received the thing in the picture. It is not an Adana Kebab but a very salty one skew meat ball in kebab shape. I even couldnt eat it. It was very bad. They even did not send me any breads and they forgot to send my lentile soup order too. I will add the Kumefe picture too, which is a vwry bad imitation of real Kunefe. I will never eat from here again and do not advise others to try. Very very bad quality. PS: I am from Turkey and know very well what an Adama Kebab and a Kunefe is. Shame on you guys.
Adana kebab is very greesy and too salty. Turkish tea is $2 for the small cup, when other turkish restaurants give tea for free. Adana kebab in every restaurant comes with rice and veggies. Here is the kebab just itself and you need to pay for rice and salad $10 extra. Bad management. I didn t enjoy the food, plus your price is too high. And actually this restaurant is not turkish, all the staff there are persians. Menu consist persian food mostly.
everything is very nice
l like eating pide here and turkish coffee is very delicious. Restaurant is very clean and friendly staff. it is worth trying. l definitely recommend those who want to taste turkish cuisine.
The donor kabob is very old and the survive is very old the Server Fought with me and when we pry the tikka he showed us a full shish but we only got half. And when I got the sandwich they did not ask when I wanted they just put stuff on. This restaurant very sloppy and overpriced
Perfect place !
Beautiful Restaurant and taste food
It s a amazing place all foods are delicious
Great place good foods
The place is amazing, I would definitely come back for the special test 10/10 great service.
A very cozy restaurant that reminds me of my childhood in the village. Fantastic food variety, friendly people and the environment makes this place my number one place to go in the GTA. Youve got to see it to believe it.
Very nice area for friends gathering even families. Takes you to old days in Turkey, Iran ... The foods are fantastic with very low salt and fat. Definitely will go there again.
Food was delicious.
- Amazing tasting food -Great parking space - Excellent service - Spectacular atmosphere
Great service
Seedy feel.
Delicious and friendly
The food was delicious however the salad and appetizers needs real work. I ordered iskender and my husband ordered koobideh. Both were well made and had great taste. Sitting area is small. If you go during late hours prepare to see drunk dancing people. Honestly I was shocked and turned off by this. We were moved just to accomodate the drunk dancers. I have not seen this before and expected this only at bars at very late hours. We went at 9:30-10.
Good food , good service , friendly environment, definitely come back here .you have the choice of either Turkish or Iranian food .
So I went here with one of my old buddies totally by accident! We were circling around looking for a Chinese restaurant to eat and and we just said you know what lets try this place. Best accident ever! The decor was nice the staff was so friendly and welcoming! Honestly the level of the hospitality we received was as if we were their family member going over to their house to eat I was amazed! Now the food was so fresh and tasted so good it was almost as if I was tasting food from those videos from turkey you see on instagram! There was baccarat for us to play a really nicely designed table I would have to add. After our meal the nice lady at the restaurant treated my friend and I to some authentic homemade Turkish tea and probably one of the best baaklava Ive ever head Truly one of the most authentic and nice dining experiencs Ive ever had in Toronto !!! Thank you for having us I will love to come over again and again hope to see you all soon!
Good Food Horrible Service They are smoking in the restaurant and it bothers people
Horrible Service Food is very dry And small porportions are very expensive I dont think i will come back
Staffs are really friendly. Foods are fresh and delicious. I was here with my lovely sister Sanobar Apa
