A must go place for Bun Bo Hue. They are signature for Bun Bo Hue and Mien Mang Vịt. $16.5 for a large bowl of bun Bo hue. A cozy place and friendly staff. They only accept cash!!!
My favorite pho restaurant in Toronto! I've tried so many different places and trust me when I say, this one has the most authentic and delicious pho ever. Highly recommend visiting here, parking lot has decent spots and this family owned restaurant is top notch!
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant. I tried others and they fail to this great place. They are my highest bench mark for Vietnamese food. I ordered #49. They have large menu.
Best bun bo hue soup I've ever had - never knew a soup could taste so refreshing. Their grilled pork in their vermicelli bowl is also quite tasty. They accept only cash or e-transfer here.
One of my top list Pho restaurant. Crab broth is thick and rich, taste so good 👍. Spicy beef pho is traditional taste, not much surprise but still good. We ordered assorted rolls, rice paper and deep fried, both are good quality. We bought a coconut dessert, it was not too sweet, great 👍.
Came here with a friend for dinner. I ordered bun bo hue and he ordered seafood banh canh. My soup tasted good but my friend didn't really like his because the noodles were very slimy. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Prices were average. Service was quick and effective.
It was my first time trying bun bo hue. It was very delicious and had the perfect hint of spiciness. I would order this again if I'm ever around the area. We also had the rare beef pho. It's a great option for those who are sensitive to spicy food. I just wish that the soup were a tad bit hotter (temperature wise). The service was fast and they staff were attentive. This place was cozy and quite clean. Make sure to carry cash as they only accept cash and/or e-transfer.
First time trying bún bò huế and it was delicious! Spicy level is good and soup was packed with flavour. Portion is decent with average pricing. However, my aunt was questioning why an ingredient was missing... the workers said they ran out after serving the food, so what I ate was not the complete recipe; but it still tasted great. It's a small restaurant with no wheelchair accessibility. Has an okay amount of parking available. Service is friendly and only accepts cash.
Good Parking: Ok Food : 5/5 |
Cheapest delicious beef noodle soup ever Will come and support for a long time. good
Really excellent food here! I think the Bun Bo Hue I had was even better than what I ve had in Vietnam. Great prices and portion sizes. Note that you can only pay with cash or e-transfer!
This place has good food and very full of flavour, but the waitresses are very rude and keep talking in their language and looking at you the whole time.!!! The place needs a good upgrade and cleaning
Best pho in Toronto.
Authentic. Keep it up!
I tried bun bo Hue because it seems like their must try but it tasteless to me (flavours in general not just salty or plain) and isn t as good as I expected. And we paid cash but still had to pay tax? So weird, I hope they actually pay their tax . Anyways, if you see some review saying that their bun bo Hue is good, I don t think so, I ve tried better places.
Tasteless dish. Only take cash but charge for taxes. 100% not coming back again.
The best outside of Vietnam
Good food, great service
Use to be better, I think they changed owners
Weve been coming here for many years for Bun Bo Hue. Always great.
Best food, good price, friendly staffs, definitely come back many times
Best Pho in town, however the building is infested with roaches and mice.
Had Bun Bo Hue at many other great pho places, but no other bun bo hue compares to here. Best in the gta. 10/10 would recommend.
Good food. Just enough servings i didnt have any left for take out.
06/24/24: been coming here for years and today they messed up my order that I written on the order sheet. Hope it was worth losing a loyal customer that tips 15-20% every time because you didn t want to remake my small BBH soup. Didn t even offer to fix my bfs soup either. I ve been coming here for years. Started off with my mom bringing me as a kid and now I come here consistently with friends. I always get their their Bun Ho Hue and Bun Rieu
Good food, as always.
Best Viet food I have tasted. Not to mention, all the staff are amazingly kind. I went with my family, and brought along my baby. It is a humble restaurant with not too many tables so it felt very intimate. Will come back again and again. Loved the Vermicelli with pork, their pandan dessert!!!
This place was my childhood growing up. The bun bo hue here used to be super flavourful and spicy and full of meat. Times are tough now as the last time I went the soup was very bland and hardly spicy. :(
Good food :) nice atmosphere
The best bun bo hue you can get in the GTA hands down.
This is the cash only restaurant. Why the restaurant charged taxes when you have to pay cash for your order ? Where is that taxes money goes ?? Does not make any sense to me. I have been to this restaurant for so many years and just find out that little trick, stop coming back even their foods are not too bad.
Picked up my usual meal I enjoy from here....grilled chicken on rice, shrimp/pork roll and mango shake......always delicious and reasonably priced. Have been coming to this restaurant for many years. My sister Negrita Jayde first brought me here. She and her husband, Gregory Hines really enjoyed the food and quaint atmosphere.
Food is no good
Their Bun Bo Hue is very good, not too salty and a reasonable price! Service is good too. Only thing is they only accept e-transfer and cash.
The beef noodle soup is not bad, but the bad thing is that using the wrong meat makes the noodle bowl eat a lot. Lean pork should not be added. Beef should be sliced thinly. Beef noodle soup is decent, but the toppings like the meat being used kill the overall experience and taste of the food. Its my second time eating after 10 years and it hasnt changed. 2/5 rating for beef noodle soup. Ps. Stop using pork meat, especially the lean part. Its very dry when cooked. All beef needs to be thinly sliced. I found a few cubes cut in my meal. More beef shank should be used.
Vegetarian options: The service was bad Food
I stumbled upon a hidden gem! Theres something truly special about discovering those cozy, hole-in-the-wall spots where you can taste the love and tradition in every bite. Grandpa and grandma cooking often holds the secrets to unforgettable flavors and comfort food at its finest. Enjoy the journey through deliciousness!
Very tasty pho place at least for their Bun Bo Hue and sugar cane drink
Delicious!!
Beautiful family pho
Cash or e-transfer only here.
Food is delicious as always!! Only reason why I m giving it a 4 stars is because you really sometimes can t use apply pay or even your physical card like debit or credit card. They take cash!!! Otherwise it s good!
Spring Rolls is good. Bun Bo Hue is next to stellar. They should not name it as their store :(
Staff friendly food is excellent!
Nice service, good food, restaurant looking old inside , still 5 star , I hope in future they renovated inside restaurants
Very good soup!
If you re in the mood for delicious Vietnamese cuisine, look no further than this restaurant! This cozy eatery offers a wonderful atmosphere and some of the best Vietnamese food I ve ever had. If youre in the mood for delicious Vietnamese cuisine, look no further than [Restaurant Name]! This cozy eatery offers a wonderful atmosphere and some of the best Vietnamese food Ive ever had.
The service was exceptional. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. The waitress made great recommendations and ensured that our glasses were always full. And the food! It was absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I especially loved the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with a tangy lemon butter sauce. The side dishes were also a hit - the roasted brussels sprouts were crispy and savory, and the mashed sweet potatoes were the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere, service, and food were all top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
fairly
Big portion and good price Lots of onions L size $12.5++
Loving #1 and its a must-have; #3 was also good where theres a sour flavor in the soup base :)
Honest to goodness, one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the 416. Good prices and great taste. The Bun Bo Hue in particular is exceptional!
The best bun bo hue in Toronto
One of the best bun bo hue. Very authentic, taste similar to the soup in hue, vietnam. The only issue I had with the restaurant is that they only take cash or e-transfer, but other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend trying.
Best BBH in the west end
Regular customer here. Bun Bo Hue noodle is highly recommended. Taste so so good! Friendly staff. Love it!
My gf and me like this place. The food is amazing.
Great place to come. I have been eating or visiting here since 97. They specialty in bun bo que but other food over all is good too.
Delicious, rare beef Pho! Friendly staff.
Delicious pho for a good price. Plenty of meat, fresh basil and mint.
Came here late at night as we were around the area and had this place bookmarked. Came with three other people and got pho and large BBH. The pricing was pretty standard and the portion was big enough for four people to share. 1) Pho The broth was pretty standard, I found it to be just okay. However, we did come a but later in the day. 3.5/5 2) BBH A bit disappointed as it wasnt as good (maybe I had high expectations because the name is BBH...and also TikTok), it was lacking in flavour and wasnt as spicy. Although the others did like it more than the pho. 4/5 Overall, I would give this place another try earlier during the day and see what it would be like.
They only take cash....not everyone have cash now days
I came in here one time for rice and porkchop with salad. It was very good but its a bit pricy in here expect to pay $17-22 dollars for a single person for dinner drink tax and tip. I dont eat out in Toronto often because of the high costs.
VERY NICE PLACE AND THE IS GREAT. I RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO TRY THE FOOD. Food
I m always not alone when I eat at this restaurant. Food is extremely good and service is great. Don t be upset when you see them charge $17 for the extra large Bun Bo Hue because that s a real big bowl with lots of noodles and everything and the soup base is delicious. Kid-friendliness: Of course.
Quality of foods always up keep and never disappointment! Very friendly family owned authentic vietnamese cusine PHO restaurant!!!
It serves authentic Bun Bo Hue noodle soup, this is a must try dish, also iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is also must try.
Great dishes with reasonable prices.
very delicious
Might have found the best bun bo hue spot in Toronto. Note: cash only.
I have heard lots of good words about the BBH here so I made my way from Niagara to North York just for this! It did not disappoint me! The flavour was on point. $15 for a large bowl and I was almost too full to finish it. I love how they have the chili oil and fish sauce at the table. Some places I go to, I have to ask for that. The chili oil is amazing as well. Definitely homemade chili oil! I m so happy I finally had a chance to try this place. If I live close I would probably eat here every week. The own said since the construction starts, it heavily impacts the foot traffic to the restaurant. Please support them! The service is very nice as well Sorry no pics cuz we were so hungry
Good Vietnamese noodles average priced and good protions
We drove 40min here coz everyone says its the best BBH! The drive here is quite annoying and there is construction nearby but the food really made up for it. This is a hole-in-the-wall, 60s interior, cash-only type of place and their focus is the food. The BBH was very solid, so flavorful with lots of meat enhanced by the cabbage/mint leaves. I was also surprised by the spring rolls, probably one of the best Ive had, so crispy and flavorful. We also tried their viet iced coffee, and they actually hammer the ice by hand! If the drive wasnt so far, we would come here every week!
Best authentic Vietnamese food!!!
Hidden gem, A must-go place. Price is reasonable, food is delicious
One of the top spots in gta for bun bo hue
I ve tried many other places and by far. This is the best Bun Bo Hue in town.
Best bun bo hue in GTA.
Best Bun Bo Hue I ve ever had and also the staff are the sweetest!! Spring rolls and Bun bowl also unreal. Don t miss out.
Delicious food and unbeatable price
Best bun bo hue ever!!
Most delicious bun bo hue!!! But I feel like their portions are getting smaller now. Still amazing though.
They have BALUT
Vegetarian options: Sopa de verduras Kid-friendliness: Si Wheelchair accessibility: Si
My first time being here! I love how it s so close to where I live. The servers are very kind and friendly. They always came by to ask if we needed anything such as cutlery and ensured our order was accurate. They only accept cash here so please be mindful of that! 10/10 Food
Came here for lunch. Solid spot for a fresh bowl of pho. Price and portion size were reasonable. Broth was flavourful. Spring roll was crispy. Fast service. Cash or etransfer only.
Amazing great flavor
sad kids and sad me not sure how it tastes lid of both werent closed properly what a disaster
Good vietnamese style rice and noodles
The staffs are very kind and polite. And very delicious food
Best Bun Bo Hue in town.
Bun bo Hu and bun mang vit is very good.
Tastes good. Good service.
Best Bun Bo Hue and fried spring rolls! Price is reasonable. All their soupy pho are great. We drive 40min each way to get pho here from Markham. Yes, its that good!
Good food...
This place highly highly recommended. I can t forget the broth is so much flavour if you order their signature noodle soup.
Hands down, the most AMAZING broth Ive ever had in my life. I come here at least once a month, please put it on your to-go list. FYI this location is cash only
Its really bad about the waiters attitude, this morning she seemed unhappy, I ordered 2 portions of Hue beef noodle soup with 1 bowl of not spicy with an underline underneath (maybe they hate that), after bringing My husband ate it and it was very spicy (everyone will know by looking at the noodle soup). Last time it was the same but she discovered it when she brought it to the table and went back to change the broth. When I said the broth was very spicy and wanted to change it, they said Hue beef noodle soup had to be spicy and the waiter and the people in the kitchen gathered and talked back and forth (as if wanting to eat it not spicy was such a terrible thing?), my husband I gave up the meal because it was too spicy after a few bites, the waiter walked by and glanced at it and asked my husband if he wanted to change it, it was only chicken soup, we didnt need that anymore, why didnt we say so from the beginning? ? And the previous times werent as bad? Maybe they think they are famous and sell the best in Toronto, no one sells Hue beef noodle soup other than them? Selling for money, not free. OK never come back. Too bad about the service, there are no stars for this place.
My second time having pho. It was very great and I got some help on how to enjoy the dish. Lovely setting for a quiet evening meal. Rated as authentic Vietnamese cuisine and highly recommended by my Vietnamese friends. Heads up! Cash or interact transfers only.
Excellent Vietnamese foods. I recommend Hue spicy noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue).
love there soup.
Of course the bun bo hue was one of the best in the gta. The place is a little run down and the vermicelli was a bit on the dry side.
Favourite BBH spot! This restaurant has definitely set the standard for me when it comes to Bun Bo Hur - nothing else really compares.
Good stuffs but cash only
Best viet on finch
got bun bo hue, delicious and very reasonable price !!!!!
This is a place I have been frequenting frequently for several years. it is delicious! It has a spicy taste that is not particularly spicy for the taste of Koreans who are good at eating spicy food. Instead, the amount has decreased significantly. In the past, if I ordered a large size, I couldnt eat 1/3 of it, so I had leftovers. This time, I ordered a large size and ate it all. So I subtract one star. Still, its delicious so Ill go again.
Good soup and great bun bo hue
The people there were quite kind and the food was alright. I mean it s nothing note worthy but it doesn t taste bad so ye
The BEST Bun Bo Hue around!!! bowl is filled with delicious spicy beef broth mixed in with the yummy vermicelli, would definitely recommend if you are in the area and want an authentic bowl bun bo hue!
One of top 3 Bun Bo and Pho place in the GTA.
Very delicious
The Best of the Best Bun bo hue Ive tasted, 5 stars is not enough to rate them especially all the servers.
Easily the best place to get authentic delicious pho in GTA. Small family owned place that has been my go to pho place for more than a decade.
An authentic Vietnamese family style restaurant. Only one waitress in this restaurant. The food was OK.
Good as always.
Came here for lunch on a weekday. Food was ok, I found the pho broth to be good but it was a little oily. Portion was very generous. The service was great, very fast and welcoming. The place could probably use a really good cleanse, but it is what youd mostly expect from a mom and pop pho joint. If I was in the area I might go again, but otherwise I wouldnt make the trip.
This place is simply the best when it comes to their bun bo hue. No one else compare. All of their menu is great! I usually come here 2-3 times a week. If it wasn t for the pandemic and stupid construction on finch ave, I would come here 5 days a week lol
Had a late lunch with family while son playing soccer nearby. Planned to buy one pho for daughter and son to share. So was thinking to buy the take out and take out some for daughter to eat in restaurant. Server well understand and helped place daughter s portion in a small bowl for us, rest of it in the take out container, without we requested. Very well caring and nice!!! Appreciated their service!!! Food were good too!
Bad service. Take a long time to order, and waitresss attitude is so bad.
One of the best Bun Bo Hue in Toronto area. Watch out the traffic when get there
This restaurant has a wide variety on their menu, The food is amazing and the service is Excellent, I had the Spring roll and vermicelli with pork it was awesome. The price is fair compared to the other restaurant. I would definitely recommend my friends to go here.
Really great food and menu. So much to choose from. Definitely coming back!
Best of the best. I have been going there for almost 15 years, it is my number 1 restaurant. I recommend number 85
Really good Bun Bo Hue with generous amounts of various meats. The soup tastes clean and tasteful which is hard to find in Toronto. Also they give you thinly sliced cabbage which goes really well in the soup. Note that restaurant takes Cash and E-Transfer. Parking: plenty
Ive come here a handful of times now and not once have I been disappointed. The portions are amazing, food so delicious and the owner and staff are sweet and attentive. Would very highly recommend for delicious and authentic Viet food. This was taken pre COVID...I miss it so much ;-(
They have the best Bun Bo Hue in the GTA, and this is coming from a hue person. I highly recommend getting the bun bo hue with pho noodles instead of the round noodles.
I use to work on a child care centre near this restaurant and I can tell you that this is so amazing I always came here everyday before and after my work, and my favourite one is the tripe pho so amazing
This place is very very good food and nice service
Very good flavors. Tastes authentic and very friendly. Listens to my request which is hard to find in Asian restaurants
Honestly, best bun bo hue. Order extra- large is enough for two people.
Best bun bo hue in Toronto ! Just the right amount of spice and full of flavour. Generous size portion with plenty of meat. We always order it with glass noodle.
My favourite Bun ga nu in the city.. I haven t tried the bun bo hue yet. Great prices always really good
This is my favorite pho restaurant since from 2004 over 10years now. Never change tastes, every visit so Goooooooood!! Never disappointed.
Best Bun Bo Hue in the GTA. Ive been going here for many years. Not only are they known for their Bun Bo Hue, but the Pho is also very good here
Hole in the wall restaurant. Tastes good. Prices comparable to other pho places.
July 2021 4.5 a decent sized restaurant serving Vietnamese dishes. The bun bo hue, which is their restaurant name, is great. Flavors are very good, rich and full. The duck noodle along with the standard pho noodles were all good. Portions are very good with enough fresh herbs, noodles and importantly meat for the price. Worth visiting. The drink, 3 color ice itself was ok and quite pricy compared to the actual meal.
Not the cleanest restaurant and the service was lacking a bit. Bun bo hue was ok. Missing some flavours but it was really nicely portioned and a good price.
When the waiter came up and said a few words to me in Vietnamese, I said I did not understand, can you speak English? In a fierce tone, she asked me whether I would like hot tea or cold tea. Is it my fault that I don t understand Vietnamese? And there is racial discrimination. We have black hair and yellow skin. She thinks I am not Vietnamese, so it is very fierce. But she treats the brown-haired and white-skinned people at other tables very tenderly. In addition, the beef tendon is black, I dont know if it is broken.
Best place ever to get pho! Everything they have is good there. Me and my mom come here all the time. If we go to a different place than it just means this place was too busy or we re not in town. Staff is so sweet and nice. Coconut water is to die for:)).
Very authentic, delicious Vietnamese food. Friendly , fast service. Will definitely be heading back here, even though its an hour drive.
Love the bun bo hue. Rich and spicy soup with deep layers of flavour. Paired with tender slices of beef, pork and pork blood cubes, and topped with lots of fresh herbs. Will definitely come back for more!
My go to place for Bun Bo Hue
Delicious food at really reasonable prices.
I always go here for Hue. Its really qood.
The bun bo hue was fantastic
Complements to the chef and to the store. The food here is worth trying, cheap and over all one of my go to spot. Highly recommend
Food taste and quality totally changed compared to pre-pandemic, which is a place I used to enjoy with decent price and good signature noodle. Will never come back, period
Nice
My go to for bun bo hue. Craving satisfied
Hole in the wall type of place. Food is delicious, prices are reasonable and service is friendly. Definitely will be returning when I m in the area!
Love their Bun Bo Hue!!
Its THE spot for bun bo hue
Bún riêu- the crab noodle soup here is number one in my heart highly recommend . The coconut and avocado shake are so yummy as well
Best Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine Their Bun Bue Hue is my go to meal even though I live 1h away
Amazing food and amazing staff!! What else can you ask for !
Bun Bo Hue is a small and cozy place with a lot of locals and experienced staff. The food is cheap but cash only, which may be inconvenient. The Bun Bo Hue is great and worth the visit.
The food is always good here. Fast service and thank you for accepting my late order. I will be back.
Bun bo hue here very good.
My one and favourite place to eat authentic Bun Bo Hue. The food is very tasty and lots of meat, love it !
