Just ordered Doordash and pizzas came without them being sealed. Called the store and was told you need to specifically ask for a seal on them. Every place I order from now comes sealed. Will never order from them again.

This is what a large pie looks like . as cold as if it was just pulled from the freezer while the toppings forgotten and the cheese falling off Guess quality control is non-existent after the dave portnoy pizza review bumped sales Disgusting quality, threw out the entire pie, and my family and I won t be making any future visits. A shame since this was one of our favourite spots and came quite frequently

One of the best pizzas I ve had in a long time! We ordered the Truffle Shuffle and Vodka Verde pizzas. Both large. And I was very afraid that four of us would not be able to finish it. I needn t have worried - we finished every slice and nearly licked the plate clean. The Vodka Verde was exceptionally good! Highly recommend! Rolika was friendly and overall we had a wonderful dinner :)

Great pizza in uptown, amazing taste and wonderful staff. We like the truffle shuffle and the NY cheese. Try the lower lever dinning area if you go with kids, you will enjoy the food, while they can play table soccer game.

I experienced poor customer service at this pizza place. When I pointed out that my first pizza was burnt and asked for a replacement, the staff was rude and condescending. They told me the burnt pizza was good and implied I didn t know what a proper pizza looked like. No one should have to endure that kind of treatment. I won t be coming back.

Dined in and had our salad served in a timely manner. Unfortunately waited another 40minutes only for our server to come back and ask us to remind her what pizza we ordered. We waited another 20mins before asking if its almost ready because at this point we were ready to leave and go for wings. The staff showed us it was in the oven and it would be another 3-4 minutes. The pizza here is delicious but for the wait time, i dont think dine-in should even be offered. It just doesnt really make sense if it takes one hour for a pizza. This was our second time here and we ordered the Truffle Shuffle like last time. Unfortunately this time it seemed to be missing the truffle flavour, tasted bland compared to our last visit. The whole experience was really disappointing and we regretted spending our evening here.

Pizza s are amazing. Probably best in town. It is quite busy obviously for a good reason but most clients are take out or pick up. That hurts the service to serve dine in clients.

We walked by this pizzeria while browsing Avenue Road and decided to order a pizza to take home for dinner. The aroma of the pizza in the car was overtaking and we did not wait for dinner time to dig into the pizza. Absolutely delicious!!! The crust was perfect and the presentation and taste was fabulous! The Caesar Salad was fresh and scrumptious.

I came here with two friends and we had the truffle pizza, killer bee and the cheese pizza. I forgot if it was four cheese or five but it was all the best pizza I ever had! Perfect cooked on the bottom, perfect amount of toppings. Service was excellent!

First time ordering delivery here and the service was fast and efficient. I ordered the margherita and pepperoni pizza and I liked the margherita the most, maybe because its my favorite flavor.

Weve always gotten takeout and the quality had always been high. The focus of this restaurant seems to focus on takeout and delivery. The tables were dirty and service slow. I would recommend picking up your pies to go.

Great spot for pizza. Limited menu. But the mushroom pizza and Cesar salad were excellent. Make sure to arrive before the dinner rush on the weekends because seating is limited. But service is quick.

Best pizza north of anywhere. Thank you for re recreating Torontos 1970s era pizza. Beautifully made, cooked to perfection. Ive traveled the menu and havent ever had a disappointing pie. Of particular note is the smoked bacon in the Caesar salad.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza for delivery. It was insanely delicious! Super thin crust and not oily at all. Combined with some hot honey, and it was perfect.

The pizza I ordered from here was disgusting. I waited an hour and 45 minutes for it and it came stone cold and gross. The store refused to give me a refund or replacement. The staff were incredibly rude.

The pizza was ok. Personally, I found the tomato sauce bland and, although there was plenty of cheese, the other toppings were a little light. My main issue is with the service and management. I paid for a large pizza, an arugula salad and a couple of Italian sodas at the counter (with a tip) when ordering and sat down at a table with my friend. Our pizza arrived a little while later but I never got my salad. The acoustics in the restaurant were so poor that we ate our pizza and left in order to have a conversation. When I called a short while later to complain that I hadn t gotten my salad, the person called up my order on their point-of-sale system and confirmed that I was in, had paid, etc. I was simply told to mention it the next time I ordered to get a free salad. There was no offer of a confirming email. I happened to be driving by the next afternoon, a couple of hours before the dinner rush. When I explained the issue at the counter from first principles again, I was informed that nobody on site could authorize a refund and nobody would be in later. I was offered an email address to write to. After making it clear that I d occupy a booth to write my review, the counter person offered to pay me back out of the staff tip jar. Having been a waiter 4+ decades ago, the very idea disgusts me. With tax and tip, I m only out about $15 but the lack of management interest and accountability is very disheartening and, I presume, also responsible for the overall mediocrity of the food and experience. I d recommend giving the place a miss.

I recently visited North of Brooklyn Pizzeria for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Devansh, who went out of his way to help us select the perfect pizza. Since it was our first time at this location, his recommendations were spot on, and the pizza was absolutely delicious fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and amazing flavor! We ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the excellent customer service.

Food is good, but customer service isn t. They are very disorganized with sitting the people on the tables. We were waiting for our table and suddenly they give it to another group that didn t wait for it.

Pizza was made fresh, and the dough and crust were just how I like it! Pizza sauce wasnt too tangy and lots of toppings!

My husband and I always go to North of Brooklyn Avenue road location and we are always greeted with amazing customer service. Food is always delicious! Special THANK YOU TO MO!!! Everytime we are there and Mo is working, he ALWAYS REMEMBERS us. He remembers our order and always takes the time to connect with us. He is amazing and simply deserves employee of the year! :)

Went to this pizza spot because of the review it received from Dave Portnoy from barstool. Dave gave it an 8.4. It s definitely an 8.4 for the pizza but I give it 9.2 because of the atmosphere and service from our server Jack. You re beaut Jack. Thanks for taking care of my family and being so genuine.

Ordered delivery and it was delicious. Garlic knots, margherita, pepperoni, and pepperoni add bacon. The large are very large. Will definitely order again.

We always get the killer bee here, its a great balance of umami, spicy and sweetness and their dough is absolutely amazing. Overall one of the best pizza places in town, and they play wonderful songs in there, I just wish they had a better sound system so the treble wouldn t give me a headache

The pizza is very flavorful and very similar to NY style pizza. However as someone who has had NY pizza many times, it still doesnt have that same taste. This pizza is still very good though. I ordered the large half Margarita and half NY Cheese. The service could have been slightly better but it wasnt the worst. I will definitely return.

Gotta say, this location is by far my favourite in terms of ambience. This is also my favourite pizza spot now! I gotta recommend y all my top two flavours; killer bee and the Maui wowwie. Rolika from the avenue rd location was also very nice and her service was on point.

Do not go there because of dave. I dont know they made something better for him but I tired and it was not as good as you think.

First time trying NOBP. The reviews speak for them self. Delicious fresh pizza- would love to try different types next time! For the first, we always have to go with the original Pepperoni, though we added a sesame crust (game changer and unique option) This location has a couple of dine in spots, ambiance is great, staff are super friendly! Would definitely be back soon!

Looking forward to my next pizza order! We did take out and had left overs. Tasted great the next day! We got the Mauie Wowie and Four cheese with pepperoni added. Both were great!!!! Mauie Wowie has a sweet pineapple sauce which was delicious.

This was our first visit to this location for lunch. We were impressed with the prompt service. Priyal was very courteous and caring. Also the pizza was the best we had in the City. Arugula salad was delicious.

We order pizza regularly from North of Brooklyn. Our favourite is the Marguerita with mushrooms. I add some spice with their hot sauce.

I recently visited North Brooklyn Pizzeria, and while the food was good, the service was incredibly disappointing. We were ignored by the staff for a while and handed the menus way too late. When we ordered wine, it came in a can, which was unexpected, and they served it in a short glass instead of a proper wine glass. The tables, plates and glasses were so dirty I don t know how they pass the health inspection. This really took away from the dining experience. Its a shame because the food had potential, but the poor service left a bad taste.

The cheese pizza was my favourite, the garlic knots did not appear to be fresh. Very busy area so expect a wait if you want to dine in.

I ordered online, and pizza was ready when i arrived. The place had a nice vibe to it. I wish i had dined in. The pizza was good.

I was so excited to see that a new location had opened up close to where I live. But sadly the experience was nowhere close to the Queen Street branch. Seems like a franchise. Bollywood music was a surprise, but not a downer. The quality is definitely much different from what I had tried before. Just not as good. The owners should pay closer attention to get the experience similar to the original location. Staff was great with good service, no complaints there.

Best pizza ever, must try Killer Bee

Ive been to other places of this chain, while food is good, this location got me thinking about coming back. The place is not clean; I received dirty cutlery 3 times, this means they have no clear organized their utensils. On top of that, the cloth used to clean the tables was in the floor, a new one could have been used, but instead the person did as nothing happened; lastly, the floor had crumbles all over it. Really, do recommend to take it out if you are a fan, or think twice about getting food from this place.

Vodka Sauce Pizza

Love this pizzeria went on a Sunday for dinner ordered their garlic knots and Killer Bee Pizza, excellent, will definitely be back.

I like the pizza but ANSWER YOUR PHONES FOR PICK UP. Also how do you run out of large dough on a wednesday. Glad I wasted my time driving up to find that out. Be cool if your workers would answer phones and not pick up and hang up repeatedly so I could find out it would be a waste of time. This is not the first time I have wanted to order and went somewhere else because nobody would pick up repeated attempts to call. Also when I walked in the store was not busy. There is no excuse to be made.

Oh My! This is top, top of my list The kitchen, chefs and their behavior reminds me of the tv series The Bear . Organized, clean and energetic kitchen, AMAZING quality food and service was impeccable Btw definitely recommend Maui Wowie

They never answer their phones, called 12 times, you then have to go online and order, when you go there to pick it up they haven t made it and you have to wait another 20mn in the store, this has happened to me on many occasions, very bad service!!!

One of my favorite pizza spots in city! Parking is a bit of a challenge sometimes because its street parking but if you dont mind parking up the street and walking a bit. Its worth it!

The pizzas are delicious and huge. The new location is not big, and there was a lineup because they were having a party in the basement. The service was unexpectedly fast, considering many tables arrived at the same time. I am happy to have a location closer to my location. If I may suggest, you should open a store in the Sheppard Yonge area.

Tried it once for dinner. Got three pizzas for takeout. It was very good. Only thing missing for me was the crispy crust, but that s really a personal thing. I recommend you try them out.

Pizzas were surprisingly bad so much sauce on the pie, and the sauce tasted uncooked. Good Caesar salad, and the semi-dried tomatoes are a nice touch. Service was decent. The kitchen is so loud, and so is the music. There s a strange whistling sound from the kitchen that is loud and keeps going off. Difficult to hear myself think or my husband talk.

The staff was super caring and helped me create a fantastic pie my whole family enjoyed. Don t be afraid to mix and match ingredients and flavours. I like to cut my pizza at home, keeping the bottom crust crispy until served.

The vodka pizza tasted great and had a nice crispy crust. I recommend that one. The pepperoni pizza felt mediocre to me, it was floppy and when I bit into it most of the cheese pulled away from the top leaving me with a bare slice. The pepperoni itself didnt taste that great either. We had to ask the counter three times for water before the person got some cups, filled them with water from the tap, then left them on the counter for us to carry them back to the table in two trips (4 cups, 2 hands available) Parking: Limited parking available, use side streets to park

Had 2 issues. 1) there was hair in our pizza 2) waiter was not the kindest. Regarding (1): we ate half the pizza and then noticed hair in one of the slices that has been baked into the dough. Pointed this out to our waiter. We were friendly about it - not upset and did not demand anything - but wanted to make him aware of this. He offered to get us another pizza (which we were grateful for. (2) after he returned with a new pizza (we said thank you), he did not check up on us and purposely avoided our table. We thought maybe he was just overwhelmed. Not a problem . Time for paying, he set down the machine for me and I paid and he grabbed it and walked away. Didn t say thank you or acknowledge my payment (I also tipped). On our way out, we said bye and thank you to our waiter. He did not reply back to us. Not a word. Kind of confused as we were really friendly despite having found hair in our food. Made us feel uncomfortable which I am surprised as we were the ones who had hair in our food? :/ but okay. Otherwise - pizza tasted good. I will order takeout next time.

The food was great, I loved the sesame seeds on the crust and the melted cheese. I am definitely coming back. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly but there was too much noice at some point in the basement.

Vodka Verde is a must have!!!

Heard a lot of good things about this place. Finally made my first trip today to try out their pizza. I ordered Truffle Shuffle, Pepperoni pizza and Garlic Knots. $22 for 14 and $30 for 18 . It s not cheap comparing to market price. When i first stepped into the store, it s not a typical pizza decoration. It s cozy and comfortable. They sell t shirt, chips and it s like a cafe more than a pizza. The kitchen is an open concept. They use regular pizza oven, not wood fire. That s little bit disappointed at this price range. Pizzas came out fresh and hot. Thin crust and very crunchy. The dough is chewy (I believe they use 00 flour). Truffle Shuffle was lacking truffle flavor. The taste was nice but I was hoping more truffle taste to it. Pepperoni was a huge disappointment. Really nothing special. Pizza pizza $11.95 walk in special is comparable to that. I didn t see how they prepare the pizza but I don t think they kneaded the dough on site. Instead they just use ready to go dough from their franchise. Just like other chain pizza shops. The garlic knots was really nothing special. I prefer Little Ceaser cheesy sticks more. But price is reasonable. $4 for 6 pcs. Can t complain. Overall, pizzas were ok but not worth this price. I drive 45 mins to try out this place. Will I come back? Very unlikely.

Food was good but It took them 45 minutes to take us when we were told to wait 15-20 minutes. Did not get the water halfway dinner and even waited too long to get the paper napkins. Also, We understand the joy among employees but making it that loud that it pains in the ears is not appropriate.

So disappointing! One of their staff members was celebrating a birthday or achievement, which is wonderful and I m not an unreasonable person. It s great to see some celebrations going on, but the entire restaurant came to a standstill for at least 25 minutes while the staff in the kitchen were incredibly loud cheering and whistling, and, making so much noise that several times it felt like someone was being attacked or that there were fireworks going on inside the restaurant. I could not hear anything above the excessive noise they were making.. and I honestly felt unsafe ..it absolutely ruined the entire dining experience and the food. The service was bad because everyone was so preoccupied with this celebration. This all happened 2 hours before closing. As a result of their celebration several food delivery staff were left waiting and the entire seating area of the restaurant emptied out . Please continue to celebrate your staff and uplift your coworkers but either do it for a quick few minutes during open hours or reserve that kind of ruckus for after you re closed. Normally a good restaurant, but I would recommend going to one of the other locations because I was incredibly disappointed. I left agitated and angry following the experience.

Went yesterday for dinner with my friends. Waiter service were worst. Were served water after we finished eating half of our pizza. Napkins were not enough for group of 8 just 5 napkins. And even after telling twice, we got them after 15-20 min. Food was good. Too loud noises by the staff.

I ordered a pizza and the pizza that was given to me wasnt what I intended to order and when I got home I realized I had the wrong pizza, I spoke to the store and I was told that I need to come back to the store and pay for the full order again along with bringing the wrong pizza back?!?! Regardless of whether I placed the wrong order or not the situation was handled very poorly. The supervisor over heard the conversation and decided to jump in and advise the rep that I would have to place an order again and pay for the new pizza that I wanted in addition to keeping the wrong order which was paid for

Recommend the truffle shuffle as that is their best slice. Service was solid and food was at the exact same level as the other locations. Great time. Note* you cant reserve tables and youd have to wait in the store if you want a specifc number of seats. Vegetarian options: They have vegan cheese

Stumbled on this place by chance. Best pizza over ever had in my life

My wife has always wanted to go, so we did for our anniversary dinner. Be forewarned, this place is extremely busy on weekends around the support hours, expect to wait for a table. Its also noisy as hell, but thats because it is so lively. This aint no mausoleum. Food was excellent: We had the Killer Bee and Truffle Shuffle pies with a bottle of Spanish red to wash it down. Our server was prompt and courteous, no complaints. Only issue was getting seated downstairs next to a large table of noisy kids who ended up defacing the upholstery with fingernail scratches. Great parenting, there.

I don t care if you re busy, it s a restaurant job to make sure the tables are clean. If I called DineIn and the inspector came would you say your to busy.

This has been on my list of places I want to go. Im so glad we tried it. It really was very close to real New York pizza, I lived in NYC for 19 years, and it came very, very, very close. The only 2 points I would bring up about the pizza, the crust was too thin, and the sauce was a bit thin. These 2 combined made it a bit soggy. However, the pizzas were full of flavour. We got the Killer Bee. It has sausage, jalapeños, picked onions, and hot honey. The other pizza we got was Green Out. This one had mozzarella, spring cream, spinach, semi-dried tomatoes, salsa verde, and pecorino. This one tasted very fresh, as in herbs and bright flavours. The salsa Verde might be the cause it got kind of soggy. However,as mentioned before, the flavours for both pizzas were robust and well executed. The pizzas only come in 2 sizes. 14 or 22. Not sure if they had liquor license, but they still had a good assortment of soft drinks. The 2 guys at the front taking orders were very pleasant and patient. The place was very busy for takeout, but not so much for dine in. The space is very nicely decorated with a minimal yet classic pizzeria look. There is GreenP parking on the street in front, but the neighbourhood streets also have parking free for 1 hour. Try it out. Who knows, it might just become a favourite spot.

I ve only ever had take out but the pizza is my favourite in the city! I ve been going back consistently.

Pizza was nice and crisp, great buttom and cheese pull.

Food was outstanding. Place wasnt clean enough. There were flies all over the place, and floor wasnt clean either. Looked shabby. Will take out next time

Updating my previous review. I ate it for the third time, but this time I sat in the store. It was a night and day difference. If youre planning on ordering a pizza, eat it in store. Dont order it. The spot was very messry with none of the tables clean, which is pretty gross. Great pizza though.

The pizza was wonderful. The dough was just right, with a perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and vegetables. Each bite was a great mix of flavors and textures. I would definitely come again.
