3875 Don Mills Rd, North York, ON M2H 2S7, Canada
This restaurant is famous for its won ton noodle. We ordered a bowl of dumplings in soup, won ton noodle and fried noodle. The won ton noodle was delicious but the dumplings 水餃 were not as fresh as we previously had.
3A Noodle House is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Cantonese cuisine. Their wonton soup is a standout—richly flavorful with plump, juicy shrimp wontons that burst with taste. I've also tried their frozen dim sum to take home, and each bite is a delightful experience. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in exceptional HK style flavors!
Small little neighborhood Hong Kong noodle store. Best to come at afternoon as they have special deals while portion still remains the same. Overall great value. Would come back again!
The wonton is great but the beef Brisket and soup were good sweet for my taste. I am not saying is bad but just not for me. The portion could be bigger so best to come at tea time for best value where u get drink, fried fish skin and one bowl of noodle for 13.5.
This is a traditional Cantonese style noodle place. We stopped by for a quick lunch with my boys, and it is very FAST! We ordered wontons and noodles with three types, beef brisket rice, and the service is so fast, the food is served instantly to us 2 minutes after we order. It feels like we took longer to decide what to eat than the cooking time. All foods are freshly made, and it’s delicious
Food : soup base is good, beef brisket is also tasty, noodle ain't supreme but compensated by the portion received. Service: very alerted and polite servers. Worth my tipping. Atmosphere: very clean and comfortable. Overall, the service received does invite me back again, hoping the service level will stay the same.
Finally a HK style wonton noodle restaurant in North York! This place is clean and cozy, service is amazing- all staff is very polite and friendly. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. But do keep in mind their last order cut-off is 7:30pm for both dine in and take out, which in my opinion is relatively early.
We visited on a weekday lunchtime and were impressed by the efficient service. The deep fried fish skin is delicious. The dumpling is bigger in size than average and it's very filling. The only complain we have is their soup base and the dumpling itself are too heavily seasoned; they are both too salty. Their frozen foods and dried foods are fresh and of good quality. We enjoyed the rice roll and rice is lotus leaf. Although the service is efficient, the 45-minute dining limit feels a bit rushed, leaving little time to fully enjoy the meal and the experience The interior was neatly laid out, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, energetic, and attentive. Reading their responses here, it's clear that the owner is engaging and values customer feedback and is committed to continuous improvement. This dedication sets them apart from similar restaurants (like congee wong, congee queen) where good customer service seems like a foreign concept.
3A Noodle is a hidden gem for Hong Kong-style comfort food in North York. The restaurant s reflective glass exterior creates a private yet inviting atmosphere, while the spotless interior complete with a tiny but immaculate washroom shows their commitment to cleanliness. A freezer section featuring their popular frozen dishes and the option for party orders make this spot even more versatile. The menu caters to all tastes, from noodle lovers to fans of hearty meat dishes. The weekday Special Combo Meal (3pm 5:30pm) is an unbeatable deal for a satisfying meal. Each dish I tried impressed: the Jumbo Shrimp Wonton Noodles delivered plump, perfectly cooked shrimp and chewy egg noodles. The Chu Hou Braised Beef Brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, elevated by a rich Chu Hou sauce. The crispy, well-seasoned Deep-Fried Fish Skin stole the show, while the steamed Choy Sum with Oyster Sauce added a fresh and savoury touch. Even the Hong Kong-style Milk Tea was a nostalgic treat, rich and creamy. With attentive service, flavourful dishes, and an immaculate dining environment, 3A Noodle is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Hong Kong-style cuisine. Don t leave without trying their freezer goodies!
Today, this clerk or boss, I just want to report that you know that your dumplings are not yet cooked, but you asked me not to tell you, so you gave them to me. I didnt have anything to eat at this meal, so I just paid the bill because I felt that there was no way I could eat in a restaurant with such an attitude. Your attitude may make you feel good-looking or you may win, but it will only cost you a customer and the reputation of this customer among his friends. I hope your business will be prosperous.
I eat at comfort food in Toronto every week Pork trotters, beef offal, with soup or noodles, rice is also good
Food is delicious and the service is excellent with care. We enjoy the food and the service. Highly recommended.
Food is yummy and tea time price is reasonable, Traditional Beef Internal Delicacies is very delicious (I forgot to take picture), Chu Hou Braised Beef Tendon is very soft and they have some frozen food too, will visit again
The portion is just right, delicious, the beef offal is abundant, the cuttlefish balls and shrimp dumplings are large, just right
The noodles are delicious, the wontons, dumplings, and dace balls are all on point! Dine out soon!
Original Hong Kong style beef noodle. Taste so so so good.
Beef offal noodles are good
The braised beef tendon is very good. Will be back again to try other food choices.
Still hungry after a bowl of noodle... And its kinda expensive. Taste wise, just about average, nothing to praise about. Beef internal is so so, had better ones and cheaper price nearby. Nothing too special to crave for a revisit. Food : 3/5 |
Its a cozy restaurant with good food and service. But they have a 45-minute seating limit if there are people waiting.
Nice food and make your day Kid-friendliness: Not for baby but kids okay Food : 5/5 |
Authentic Hong Kong flavor, great service! The price is reasonable.
The noodles are relatively small and the taste is not as attractive as everyone has heard. The price for adding frozen drinks is +$2.75
Very good HK style Wonton, each one filled with an ample amount of shrimps. It makes sure you can enjoy every single bite The dining area is neat and clean, the servers are nice and very helpful, definitely will be back next time. Parking: The restaurant is located inside a street mall with enough parking most of the time. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level access with a pedestrian walkway, can accommodate a wheelchair.
So far so good
This is a noodle place!
Giant won tons. Great noodles. Veggies a little small.
Best wonton/beef brisket noodles I have ever had. That is including the one I had in Hong Kong and other Asia places. The wonton is huge and filled with well-seasoned shrimp. Had come back multiple times for the same bowl. Definitely recommend this. Food : 5/5
Good
Food is above average
Food is fine, kinda pricey. Service was below expectations. There are better places.
For sincere noodle dishes, you must try the pork trotters and beef brisket In addition, the cuttlefish balls are also very good
Good HK noodles, worth for money, nice environment; Delicious Hong Kong-style noodles, affordable, nice environment.
Great food (afternoon tea) deal Service is fast Cold HK MILK tea is no extra charge When someone was late, they give extra Hot Soup
It can be considered one of the highest quality spots in GTA. I had the best brisket and pork knuckle noodle, both cooked to perfection. The noodles are average, with room for improvement. I went around 1 pm, and there were just the right number of customers sitting comfortably. Nevertheless, it s a good place for a Hong Kong-style noodle shop.
Star service! Food are so yummy and HK styled! So good! Good service, high standard of food, awesome!
This place was a good wonton noodles soup and quick service but its busy at lunch time. Will go again.
Outstanding service matched with excellent taste on foods since opened to now. Just hope more locations opening soon in other cities in around the world. Food : 5/5
The food is good but their take it or leave it attitude really shows that its not about quality or customer service. Why do i say that? The unwillingness to accommodate special request or substitute ingredients - e.g., more spleen over brisket. One time i flew in from NY and arrived at 7:35 p.m. to be disappointed that i was pass last call even though they advertise that their closing time was at 8:00 p.m.. What is their explanation for not serving me? That 8:00 p.m. is when they lock their doors 7:30 is their last order. Does that make sense to you? So conversely if i arrive at 10:30 a.m. am i waiting till 11:00 to eat? Who cares what your prep and down time is and why would that be calculated in your hours of operation? Arrogant, Stupid and Rude. Listen their noodles wonton and beef offal is not that good to deal with their arrogance and attitude. Beefing 7, Wonton Garden, Big Trio are just as good and service is humble and accommodating.
Wonton and pork noodle noodles: large wontons and fresh pork noodle Beef Offal Noodles: Beef brisket has strong beef flavor and is quite creamy The store clerk s service is good
Beef offals is average.
First visit last Sat food, atmosphere, service all excellent Thank you will return for sure also will recommend friends to visit
Authentic Hong Kong style wonton noodle joint. Service is quick with excellent manner. Tons of parking spots. Food is tasty & the portion is generous. The price is right. Interior is cozy enough to enjoy my comfort food. I usually order beef brisket + shrimp wonton lo mein at these kind of noodle joint but my Go-To here is the handmade cuttlefish ball + whatever I feel like that day. The cuttlefish balls are one of the best Ive had. If I had to pick 1 thing for the restaurant to improve on, is the consistency of the soup. Soup base is usually on point but I had it a few times where the soup is watered down (lighter than usual). All in all, Ill recommend it for those craving for HK style wonton noodles!
The wonton noodles are quite good and the service attitude is good
Returning customer here, putting the food quality aside, allowing KOL to promote the restaurant without informing normal customers during peak hour over the weekend and causing a lot of normal customers to wait significantly longer than normal doesn t sound like the proper way of customer service .annoyed and disappointed
Nice place to get a snack. Fast and tasty.
Wow, first time here while visiting Toronto. Were we blown away by the food and service!! The waiter was soooo friendly and efficient and flawless with our orders. Great place to get traditional Chinese wonton noodles. Highly recommend. Got to come here regardless if youre local or visiting.
Loved their braised beef brisket lo mein, its authentic HK style. Staff was very nice and attentive. Food
Visited this place recently. Food was excellent but I want to point out that their customer service was excellent. Hats off to them. Food : 4/5
Overall Id rate here 3 stars. Food wasnt bad but lots of MSG. However the price for the portion is a bit too little. It was a $11.5 prior to tax and tip for a meal that wasnt as filling as mcdonalds. For once yes, Id have to say mcdonalds has a better portion than here, and better for the buck. If I knew, I couldve added more noodles for $2.5more I wouldve, the waiter didnt mention this. I didnt look at the menu being I ordered what he recommended. A price like this overall. Id prefer to head over to new kennedy. For $8.5 youll get your moneys worth. I spent $30 out the door for a $8.5meal. Feeling ripped off.
Was there for a afternoon tea set with ice lemon tea without extra charge, very bargain price and they even willing to change a wrongly ordered drink for free. Excellent service, highly recommend! Dont forget to try their chilli oil.
3A Noodle is a simple Cantonese establishment serving up Wonton Noodles and other simple traditional fares. We got here at Sunday at 2pm and it was still more than half full. We order the Braised Pork Knuckles with House Sauce Noodle Soup, the Wonton Noodle Soup and the Fried Fish Skin. All three were good, but we really appreciated the Fish Skin as it was cut really thin allowing it to be extra crispy. If you re looking for a really good bowl of noodles this place will do the trick.
Cozy place for a wonton noodles. Great pricing, good portions and quick service.
Authentic Food. Deep-fried Dace Fish Balls are the best!!!
Excellent noodles. Quick and courteous service. Frozen dim sums are also very good.
I traveled hundreds of kilometers to eat by car and ordered beef offal noodles and fried dace balls. The beef offal and steak didn t taste like Hong Kong s, just average! The lo mein is too hard! Dace balls are ok!
Got 6 pieces of beef noodle, 11.75 plus tax, not worth it
Lovely wonton noodle restaurant. Top quality standards for HK style wonton noodles. Generous portions and sizes. Frozen take away available. Hot chilli oil was great and also available for purchase. Clean restaurant. Great service.
The beef brisket is ok. The lo thick noodle is cooked in perfection. The pig liver is too thick, which takes longer to cook and results in tough texture. At this point, I couldnt find a restaurant that cut pig liver in thin slices like in hk. It takes more skills and time but worth to do it right then thick & disappoint. The rest are ok. I will try deep fried fish balls next time.
close to home easy to pick up very friendly Food : 5/5
Best wontons in town. Excellent customer service
Best wonton noodle in town.
The noodles are okay, but the rice noodles are average. The wontons were good, and the beef brisket was tender but slightly bland. Good service, generous portions, and reasonably priced. Open all year round, afternoon tea is the best meal.
The staff is nice, the fried fish skin is so crispy, and the environment and TV feel like Hong Kong.
The beef brisket noodles are delicious, not too tough, and the meat has fascia
I was stopping by here for lunch, as I entered I had some young guy block my path inside and ask what I wanted, I told him om using the restroom quick before I can say anything else he abruptly said no shook his head, the demeanor at this restaurant by staff was unfriendly and I could sense ambiance of racism in the environment. I didnt say anything and just left. Staff needs to fix up their attitude and owner is at fault for allowing this culture of arrogance to continue. I agree with all the bad reviews for this place without second guessing. I normally dont care but this type of behavior in restaurant can not absolutely continue in Canada.
I went to this restaurant for several times to try different dishes. Sorry for not providing photos but still I feel it is necessary to leave an honest comment. The service is great and the place is very clean. Both deserve a 5/5. Most toppings and side dishes are amazing, especially braised beef and fishballs. Restaurants usually cannot handle them well but 3A kills it. HOWEVER, the most classical dish of a Cantonese noodle restaurant is Wonton thin egg noodle which is the reason I need to give 3/5 on food. Wonton should have a balanced flavour between shrimp and pork. Probably it is your new version to lessen the ratio of pork, but still sesame oil steals the main character, even my non-Asian can point it out for his first time of wonton. A good chef should always pay attention to sesame oil, it is too easy to hurt the balance of a dish. The soup/broth should be based on flatfish and/or shrimp eggs, sadly I can barely taste it. The alkaline taste in soup from egg noodles has been improved, but there are still there. I prefer a harder texture of thin egg noodle btw but really dont mind if you prefer softer. Sorry if it makes you sad. I really hope you to improve and become the best. You have the potential and able to handle this comment. Cheers.
The soup and thin noodles here are legit. The thin noodles are the perfect texture to enjoy them before they soak up too much soup, I would recommend eating them first, or trying the lo mein. The soup is deliciously calibrated you can taste the delicate flavours. Add a few drops of chili oil for a fragrant kick. The wontons are full with springy shrimp and shrimp roe. The staff and environment are also very nice!
The quality of the face is okay The soup base is made with leeks instead of green onions. If you want to add some chives, you have to pay. The strangest thing is that the thin fish skin doesn t go with a bowl of soup The clerk said that only large fish skin can go well with the soup Control costs this way The whole consumption process makes diners feel bad It is recommended that the thin fish skin can be paired with a bowl of thin soup
Fengcheng Dumplings Wonton Fresh beef (The ingredients are fresh enough, the taste is just right, and the soup is delicious Beef Tendon Beef Tripe Beef Brisket not bad nothing impressive Beef offal slightly spicy Pork Knuckle Noodles + Shrimp Roe (The ingredients are still fresh and clean, and the packaging is good. But the taste is not my thing
Finally made it to 3A Noodle. Took a while despite living walking distance. Overall its a good bowl of noodles. My only criticism is the amount of food. I would say the bowl of noodles is average but tasty. Had the traditional thin egg noodles with their jumbo shrimp wontons and beef brisket. Very tasty but disappointed that I didnt receive an obligatory slice of lettuce to complete the bowl. If youre hungry you may want to pay for extra noodles. The lo mein my dad had looked to be good value and included lettuce. They have freezers lining one wall selling basically everything on the menu frozen along with assorted dim sum that they do not serve. The restaurant is not very big with only 2 round tables that can fit 5, so not good for large groups. I would visit again but try something different next time. Parking: small please but enough parking
The noodle soups are good but not great. There are no vegetables in them. I suggest you order a side of vegetables. The food came quickly. Refilling tea was not quick. Not accepting credit cards is a deal breaker for me. Ill go back if and when they accept credit cards.
Very delicious noodles served here And service is excellent. Best noodles served here compare to Big Trio. A hidden gem. Highly recommended. Wheelchair accessibility: But does not have a accessible washroom
A small gem restaurant, good for wonton noodle and mince pork noodle. Bring back childhood memories.
The place is clean, the food tastes good and the presentation is good.
It is a place where i d love to visit again and again. The wonton noodles brought me the memories of Hong Kong s wonton noodles. Personally i am very particular about the wrapper of wonton. It is not easy to find wonton with soft and thin wrapper. I finally found this shop in Toronto. The cleanliness and atmosphere are nice. The staff are friendly and helpful.
It s a great experience. The foods are so delicious and the prices are reasonable. You can taste the real Hong Kong noodles there. Staff are so nice too, will definitely come again!
Food taste and service are very good
I like the noodles here and the fact that you can also get frozen dim sum. The service was quick and the restaurant was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite if you like wonton noodles.
their noodles are even better than most of Hong Kong local restaurants. Well done! Keep it up!
You wont be disappointed if you are looking for a place with Hong Kong style wonton noodles. The crispy noodles, the tasty soup with dry flounder fish, yellow chive and the large wonton with shrimps inside. The cuttlefish ball, the beef tendance and the deep fried Dace fish ball do not disappoint either, it come with fermented clam sauce with compliments perfectly with the fried Dace fish balls. The size and prices of the noodles and fried Dace fish balls are reasonable. Will go back to try their afternoon tea someday. Definitely recommend this restaurant to others. I do have one question for the restaurant owner, do you use MSG on your food?
Cute little spot in a random plaza. Not that many tables but turnover seems to be pretty quick. Ordered their soup noodles with two toppings - I got thick noodles with wonton and beef tendon. Broth was flavourful and the wontons were big and juicy. Good portion for the price too especially considering the price of eating out these days. I ll definitely be back! Parking: Shared parking for the plaza
Between 3-5pm there is a lunch special. The combo is a combination of noodle soup, a dish of vegetable, and a drink for $13.50. Very generous portion for a great price. A variety of pre-cooked frozen food for take out. Great Cantonese restaurant Must try Food
Very nice service from Manager! Food is served to table shortly after ordered and they are delicious!
The store clerks service attitude is warm and thoughtful. tasty. You may have to wait for a seat during mealtime.
The noodles is nice.
The dumping is very good , and the soup base is good
Very high quality HK style noodle house! Especially wontons and beef tripes! Highly recommended
This little gem has excellent wontons. They are really big and yummy. The staff are very polite and kept on refilling our teas. There is also freezers with many types of dumplings, beef products for takeout purchases.
Best restaurant in the plaza. Reasonable pricing, quick seating, and consistently great food.
wow, best wonton in town, taste just like back home, you can tell they care their product.
Authentic Hong Kong wonton noodles, fried fish skin, clam fried dace balls, really good There are two windows, lots of sunshine, clean management
Excellent service, attentive and very friendly. The dumplings are very good, stuffed with large, fresh shrimps.
Delicious food and reasonable priced. If you want to come for lunch, come around 11:40 to avoid the lunch rush. I do wish the portions were a little bigger, but I would still come here again.
Very good food at very decent price! Ive been here a few times now and havent been disappointed by anything. The yin yeung tea was great too! Its also nice to see a restaurant doing well in this location. For 30 years it seems like nobody has been able to run a respectable restaurant in this spot, but glad to see this place break the curse! And for all the people leaving 1 star reviews because you couldnt urinate for free here, you really missed out! Washroom is suuuuper nice and clean. Well worth buying a bowl of noodles or a drink for
Very happy with this place.
I have been here 3 times and tried different foods which are all quite good. I like the beef tendon which is soft and delicious. Their deep fried fish skin is very crispy and tasty. The only thing I didnt like is their hk style milk tea which is just not good enough for me to recommend. They can get really busy around lunch and dinner hours so you know when to visit to avoid crowds.
This is very authentic Cantonese cuisine. The beef is very tasty. Id highly recommend
Same taste in Hong Kong, must eat deep fried fish skin. They even have frozen food to buy.
Bad service
The Wanton soup is flavorful (of shrimps) with big shrimps and meat wantons. ($13.95) There are variety types of noodles to chose for your meal, which is good that others dont normal have this option. They also serve Fried wantons and other Rice dishes too. The minus point is that their price is about $2-3 more than others Wonton shops. The restaurant is small and the tables are put very close to each other which is not a good practice in this Covid environment. And they also boldly suggest a 10% - 20% tips, which is not nice. They also don t accept Credit card payment which means I lose collection points. The pork knackle is not tender and soft enough. These should melt or drop off your mouth when tear apart.
good food, noodles were perfectly cooked though i preferred the thin noodles to the thicker ones which weren t as chewy. wontons and dumplings had a large amount of shrimp in them. we had a small issue with our order but the staff were very quick and generous when rectifying the issue. would definitely come again!
Great new local eatery, wontons are big. Noodles have good chew, not overcooked or soggy. Seating is limited, but turns over quickly or you can share a table since many solo diners were sharing a table the evening I was there. Will be back to try other menu items.
Just top tier authentic HK noodles. Beats anything Ive been to at Richmond Hill. Hongkongers coming here is a blessing. Cannot recommend this place enough...try for yourself!
This is a new wonton eatery in a strip mall. The service was prompt and the restaurant is clean although it s kinda of small. My wife had beef internals flat noodle and I had standard wonton thin noodle. The broth was above average, wontons and internal were acceptable. The thin noodle was 5 stars and flat noodle is 3. The wontons were not as big as Jim Jai Kee wonton shops.
Garbage! The noodles are so hard that they haven t even woken up! They don t even know how to cook noodles! They don t taste like eggs at all! They add MSG and are a shady operation! If you can get zero or [one], it must be from a shady shop!
The best wonton noodle in Toronto. Remind me when I was young in Hong Kong.peoples is friendly and nice there. 5 stars we definitely will go again
The food is very delicious, the waiters attitude is very good, and the price is reasonable. Three generations of us, old, middle and young, also like it very much. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Super delicious! The soup base is fresh and sweet, the noodles are elastic, and the beef offal and pork knuckles are so good... yummy.... My sisters service attitude is also very good. Will definitely go again!
The Wonton Noodle is fantastic! The wontons were huge, flavourful, and the broth was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The noodles captures the Hong Kong flavours perfectly. Highly recommended for authentic Chinese cuisine!
Menu is very similar to Wangfujing. The noodle soup base is quite good, and other snacks are better. The fried dace balls are full of orange peel flavor, but the side is ordinary. Overall its ok, it would be fine if the average price is $1.00-2.00
Everything is ok however the portions is not a lot and the price is high
Authentic! Recommended to anyone who loves hong kong noodles! Kid-friendliness: Care for kids drink (water was provided, instead of regular tea), and also whether extra utensils for share of food is needed Food : 5/5 |
Therere other wonton noodle soup stores in Scarborough / North York / Richmond Hill / Markham area; this one is above the average of all in food quality & service. Glad to see it serves deep fried snacks, rice dishes & beverages as well. I also bought the frozen takeout and found that its more reasonably priced for the takeout items if you are available to cook at home.
HK style cafe eatery with limited amount of seating. Good food with frozen items available as well. Highly recommend the coffee with milk! (Its definitely on the sweet side with a nice caffeine hit). FRESH handmade noodles (also available frozen for take home meals). Cash and debit only.
Good food and noodles ! Will definitely go back to try other things
Good for lunch
A great experience Clean restaurant Friendly staffs Fresh ingredients Beef is tender and shrimp dumplings is fresh. Will definitely come back again.
Worst place noodle too savoury need more water to drink!!
Nice Hong Kong style noodle place, a bit pricey though.
Great service and delicious noodles! Would come back again!
The noodles were impressive just feel like the typical texture in HK, but the size of dumplings were too big, deep fried fish balls were not impressive. Thin noodles are well make.
The servers were friendly even though they forgot to bring the tea. They responded quickly when advised. The deep fried fish skin was crispy but does not have much flavor. Everything else was quite good. I would go again. Food
So far soups base are great and assorted beef noodles are awesome.
Havent seen a good Hong Kong style wonton noddle shop for a long time. I tried it on their trial period, and surprisingly very good and tasty. They have their wonton specialities, but more I like are their beef brisket, tendon and pork knuckle. They have to be marinated and stewed enough to be tender and delicious. 3A Noodle makes it perfect at my trial. It is not a big store and always has a queue. You can buy in store the frozen stuffs to take home. So give it a run yourself!
The food is comforting and delicious. It s my first time dining here and definitely not my last! The noodle soup is to die for, especially with their beef tendon and shrimp wontons. This place definitely deserves more hype!
The noodles are just perfect. Have the perfect springiness when you bite into it so you know they are serious about their food quality. Parking: Open lot and if its filled somehow (unlikely) theres free street parking Kid-friendliness: I think I saw highchairs. Theres a row of a cushioned bench that is good for family with little ones and dont want to take up an extra seat. We sat at a table for 2 and managed to fit the 4 of us (2 bigs and 2 smalls) very nice and snuggly Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs but lacks automatic doors and bathrooms maybe too small for wheelchair users. Seats can be moved for a wheelchair user.
Noodles were cooked perfectly and the soup is fantastic! Shrimp wontons and the beef brisket are also outstanding. Coffee and milk tea are the best Ive had in a long time. My first time there and will return to try more items on the menu very soon.
Recommended by my friend, my husband and I went there to try the much raved about wonton. It was 11am and there was only a couple of tables occupied. We ordered and waited for over 20 minutes for the food to arrive and realized that tables that came after us got their food already. The waitress who took our order by iPad didnt submit the order successfully. They also made a mistake with the order (in choice of noodles) but we just accepted it as we just wanted to finish the meal and leave. The wonton was okay but nothing special. I prefer Jim Chai Kees with bigger shrimps. The beef brisket was extremely tough. Either the meat was inferior or its leftover from the day before. The prices were not cheap and we expect some decent food especially when the menu isnt a big one. This will be our first and last visit!
Good fix for some wonton noodles. Friendly staffs and food is good! Expect line up during lunch time. Highly recommend to try this place.
While the food here is great, the portions for the wonton noodle soup are quite small in comparison to other Asian places. Im not a big eater by any means and Im not even quite full after the meal.
Great dining experience, highly recommended the lo mein with beef brisket and beef tripe, and iced milk tea
I ordered the lo mein, and it taste exactly what the picture looks like. Also tried their soup noodle, good soup base. Taste just like Hk. Fried wontons, we re so juicy and hot!
Good service and good food
Best wanton in GTA
Food was great and servers were attentive! However i wish they had served gravy with the dry flat noodles which i ordered plain for my sons who weren t meat eaters though on a side note, i wonder if this place is affiliated with Big Trio Noodles as it showed on my bank transaction
All old memories and taste from my childhood come back but the dish portion was large and generous.
First time being here. Very nice experience with good service and food. Ordered a wonton noodle and the wontons are the best and BIGGEST i ve had so far. We also tried the fried squid balls and they are crispy and yummy. Thanks Tung s great service to make this experience even more pleasant. Will definitely return for a different dish next time!
The noodles with beef is great! Their staffs are so nice. The staff (I think his name is Dong) who served me also made me the best HK milk tea I have ever had in Toronto! I will definitely come back again!
I went there with my brother and sister-in-law. It might have been the wrong choice of food, the beef brisket noodle was very tough to chew and under seasoned. The service was the worst I have ever experienced with compared to other Hong Kongs style restaurant. There were 2 people waiting at the door and the waitresses were literally supervising us as we finished our food. I checked my watch to see how long we had been there. It was 35 minutes since we entered the restaurant. If you dont mind finishing your food in less than 30 mins, and tough beef is not your concern, feel free to give it a shot!
Nom nom! Welcome to the neighborhood Well definitely be back soon
The wontons were okay, i felt the price was very high for the quality of food. We did enjoy the fried cuttlefish balls but for the mixed platter was almost $16.
traditional
Got the noodle soup with tripe and tendon. Soup was delicious. There is a lot of hard work and skill that goes into achieving flavours like that. Service is outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is bright and open, everything is extremely clean. They also have a selection of frozen items and other foods + chilli oil that you can buy on your way out. 10/10 highly recommended.
My fav part is probably the noodles itself. We tried both the thin and thick noodles, in soup or lo-mein, and both were perfectly made and cooked. Great chew, not soggy, and not too starchy. The toppings were okay, not as tender as I d prefer but seasoned well and atmosphere had a very nostalgic HK feel.
First time here. Friendly staff and delicious food! Service was quick and food piping hot! Definitely going to return.
Went there recently . Polite staff . Wontons were so good, everyone at our table enjoyed it. Salute to those hardworking chefs at back of kitchen too. The soup was very tasty, I would just like to know if any MSG is added to it(?) . Anyway, it does contain genuine natural ingredients (taste of Tai Dai fish) in soup base. If the soup can be prepared with little sugar or MSG( if any) it will be perfect. But in the wonton scene in Ontario, this might be hard to achieve. Anyway, you are one of the best wonton places in GTA. Prices are very reasonable. Way to go. Highly recommended
If you are craving wonton noodle soup, then this is the place to be. Their wontons are jumbo size and have a great variety of side items. Their broth is very flavorful, clear, and not oily. Make sure you order a side of fried wontons as they are deliciously crunchy!
First time visit today. Really good quality specialty food and service are really friendly. Very clean and bright place. Will come back again. Recommended.
Loved the noodles. Soup is hot, big dumping/wonton, fresh. Tables, utensils are quite clean. I like that there are other stuff you can also order. I personally prefer this over the other Michelin place. Service is friendly. Can be crowded since the place is small. Might seem pricy but worth it for the quality. Our new go-to place!
Another day, another wonton noodle adventure. Found this place upon a recommendation of a friend, why not. I mean how different can wontons/noodles be from one another. Food came out quickly, staff very efficient. Beware, 45min time limit during peak dinner hours, no chit chat, eat and get the hell out. Ok, here we go, their wontons are large and similar shape round balls, handmade, I dont think so, maybe AI 3D created, too perfectly shaped. More minced with few shrimp chunks then other wontons Ive experienced. Good shrimp flavor so no complaints. Partner ordered the mixed offal noodles, lungs, kidneys, tripe, intestines, oh my. Not in my life Portions are large, noodles left a large lump like feeling in my belly. Ready for a nap now. Nothing to really differentiate them from other wonton noodle places Ive been too. Would I come back, yes if Im in the neighborhood.
It is a small restaurant but service is very good. The food is also very good. The soup base is also very good. I definitely will come back again.
Worth the wait. I mean waiting for a table as they dont have a lot of tables for dining in. Food quality is extremely high and the ingredients are the freshest of varieties. Tastes extremely well, noodles cooked to perfection and shrimp dumplings are huge and bouncy in the mouth!
I swear the restaurant at this building is changing every time I come through the area, but I have a good feeling this restaurant is here to stay. Get the noodle soup with wontons and brisket for maximum value. The wontons were very hearty and felt very good in my mouth. The brisket was very tender, and the thin noodles were perfect consistency. Love the restaurant layout as well! Great spot for community, I will be back surely it will still be there
Everything is very good here. We ordered a squid ball with wonton. Love it, its like you are eating it in Hong Kong. Will be back if I visit ON next tine.
Beef tendon noodles with fried sauce, the taste is ok and the portion is average The place is bright and tidy, and the two-seater table is a little too close.
Great wonton place. Very authentic food. They also carry frozen wonton and dim sum items. Nice and clean. The servers are attentive. Parking: Inside a small neighbourhood plaza. Easy to access.
Food was just okay for the price
Wont even let you use the washroom when in extreme need... I would have certainly ordered in the future instead ill never set foot in this cheap low life establishment again... they say so buy a pop then with a smile... i hope u are in need one day amd turned away as well smh i would never put money in such selfish pockets. I recommend you order from places where they have decency
They get thier friends to leave good comments.. FOOD IS DISGUSTING AND OWNERS ARE HORRIBLY RUDE!! 0 STARS
This is my first time at Sanpin Noodles. All the waiters are nice and helpful. Orders are placed quickly and food is served very quickly. The food is of good quality and is completely Hong Kong style.
Server service attitude is very good, very nice The frozen lemon tea is so thoughtful, the lemons are beautifully arranged It s a long-lost taste, and the tea base is so fragrant~
Honestly, this is a no frills noodle shop. And its good at being just that. The prices are reasonable, service is what you expect and the food is generally good. The pick your own 3 piece combo had tasty wontons( bit small), juicy beef brisket and flavourful beef stomach. Its the standard Chinese noodle place, perfect for a comfort meal and it knows what it is.
The food is not enough. The ones on the left are: beef tripe, fried sambo, and rice dumplings. None of them can be played. Its just that the staffs hygiene awareness can be strengthened. If you leave a drink at a customers counter and find something wrong after a minute or two, the second customer will feel bad. But the overall staff are nice. I believe it is not a matter of attitude, but of consciousness.
Authentic Hong Kong style noodle place. Much better than most around town!! Great job!
The BEST in town!!! Must try and enjoy, value for money.Top gun quality. Parking: Lots of spaces Food : 5/5 |
