Fabulous food. Great quality, excellent taste, authentic hakka cuisine and quantity is value for money. It has about 12 tables, all adequately spaced from each other for privacy. Quick service. We have tried all the spicy items on the menu and every single one was good.

I usually get my Hakka food from a well known place in Scarborough but was in the neighbourhood and decided to try this restaurant. Let me tell you.....the food is excellent...lots of flavour, fresh, and good portion sizes. I had the hot and sour soup with chicken and it had so much flavour and is definitely the best hot and sour soup Ive had. The Kung Pao chicken was a little spicy and had many pieces of chicken,, peanuts and vegetables. The crispy ginger beef had the right amount on ginger...so good. The spicy garlic eggplant was also excellent. As a promo they gave me the Manchurian veggie meatballs and they also were delicious. Im so happy to have found this gem of a place. Way better than the place I usually go to. The prices were very reasonable too. Cant wait to go back and try more of their dishes.

Stumbled across this place and had the lunch special chilli chicken and shrimp Thai soup. Absolutely amazing! Shocked how good it was. Highly recommend. Decent price, quality hakka food.

My go 2 spot for good food!

The food here is just as amazing as it was the day they opened if not better. The legs back with fried rice is a steal, any of the fried fish dishes are fantastic, to be honest there isnt anything Ive ordered I did not enjoy. Its nice having such a consistent restaurant near by.

the munchurian chicken was bitter and fried in old oil clearly. the seafood mixed veggies was way too fishy. We ate a few bites but it was not worth the price nor the effort to come here.

Tested different from other haka restaurants ... the portion is good and seems clean, but the noodles had no test at all ( like steam rice ), chicken pakora is red colour, and the chilis taking over the chicken test. Beef with mixed veggies is good ....hopes, the owner will fixe these issues

I had a very bad experience, i ordered chilli chicken & rice but it seemed like it was prepared since morning and he just served it on top of that when i complained him he was just arguing and not listening to me.. felt like wasted my dollars today for something which i did not even eat. I dont know why u hire people who just want to argue and not listen to the customers... he is telling me to take a 3 dollar discount for a dish which costed me 17 dollars... wish you guys had a negative star rating for your restaurant

Worst experience ever.... i got uncooked rice and chicken on receiving the order i mentioned that to the guy casheir he refused to believe that rice and chicken is not cooked. He didnt even exchnage the food and kept on arguing. I left the food uneaten and also paid for the whole meal. If thr owner is reading this he really needs to train his staff on customer service and quality of food. Seriously unacceptable behaviour and food.

Bad food. The chilli chicken and rice smelled and was very uncooked. The guy working today helped in now way. Please take some action if you are in a food service busniess.

Dont ask for his suggestion because he only recommends food which is prepared inside the kitchen which will overall spoil your food and your money

The serving size is so generous considering the affordable cost. We get takeout from here at least 2~3 times a week at work and we have never been disappointed. Best hakka is truly the best hakka restaurant we know in the area!

I have been coming here since they opened. They are reasonably close to my house that a few extra minutes travelling isnt a problem. The food always comes out hot and fresh and i love that they remember me and ask if im getting my usual. Thats what builds community. Its always the same staff and they care about this business. I have seen them encounter aweful customers so many times and theyve always handled it with grace. To many more tasty dishes and happy customers served! The owner is the most generous man he named his restaurant Best Hakka and I agree with him. It is the Best Hakka in the city. I go to many restaurants. They cant even come close to this place. His food is delicious. Tasty generous portions if you come around lunchtime till 3 oclock in the afternoon for 10 bucks you get a combo with a free water and a portion of food I come here every day I want to try all the menu all the dishes one more tasty than the other come on down youll love it here and youll get hooked like me. I see the city workers down the street they come here every day also, its like a cult here. Great great food. You always got the freeloaders. They try to get free free food or to give you a bad review. Some people are bad but 99% of us are good. Come on down youll love it here. I guarantee it.Paul

One of the best experiences I ve had! The servers were wonderful and the food was great! My friends and I ordered a bunch of food and shared! I honestly recommend the honey garlic chicken, chilli chicken and the Bombay. They all had the right amount of sweetness and spice! Definitely recommend and the lunch special is my to go! Loved visiting Best Hakka! Their House special fried rice, Manchurian Chicken, and garlic beef are my favourite dishes to get! All 3 dishes were so flavourful, well seasoned, and a must try. I really wanted to like this place but the food was pretty bland. Chilli chicken is listed as a spicy food but has no flavour at all. Quite disappointed.

Best Hakka offers great portions and quick service. Unlike many other Hakka places that have lost their touch, Best Hakka maintains excellent taste. Ive been a returning customer since they opened and highly recommend them.

The best Hakka restaurant in all of Toronto definitely lives up to its name!! Outstanding service from the main waiter named Alex took his time to explain the menu. Food portions were crazy huge have u ever seen a place give you a mountain of rice, noodles and protein? Great atmosphere if you are looking for a quick lunch stop or dinner with friends and family!! Definitely upgrade for the Hakka noodles and different variations of chicken mixes!! You can find them on uber eats and SKIP.

Saw the sign driving by and made a point to stop by on our way back. Massive portions of delicious hakka food. We ordered General Tao and spicy beef with fried rice. Really good and the combo orders come with a spring roll. We both had leftovers that we enjoyed for dinner.

I ordered the chili chicken in gravy last night before coming into work and I am quite frankly disappointed. There was absolutely no flavor or any level of spiciness at all. The meat pieces were huge but it was all breaded fat/cart ledge. The food use to be good but now its sadly not worth going here anymore. It was so gross that after eating a small portion of it that I had to throw it out. What a waste of $15.25. Never getting food from here again.

We visited this place for the first time and the food was amazing and the service provided was also great. We were with our little kid and the service provider made sure we were in comfortable place. Great quality of food and clean place. Quantity of food portions were huge so order accordingly.

Yummy food, friendly staff and a clean place!

Im a little embarrassed to admit I ate here, but I have to write this review for the people. I ordered their house special fried rice and house special hakka noodle and they were both pretty flavourless. Not only that, but their rice was stale, almost as if it was outside for an entire day. Its eatable and they give you a hefty portion, which is great considering most restaurants ration the portions they give you.

The when I called to make an order the employee was rude. I would not recommend.

Food is standard but a little heavy on the greasy side unnecessarily. Decent food not great. I do recommend a quick bite but nothing more. Service can be a bit slow and lame. You want to go somewhere and appreciate spending money, but this place is a flip of a coin . Atmosphere is standard and convenient

Tried best haka for the first time for lunch . It was a great experience, food was fresh, the portion was very generous and also delicious, had their Bombay chicken and was not disappointed, also the service was excellent.

The portions here are so large. If you have an average appetite, one order is enough for 2 meals! Good bang for your buck. And the service was superb. They also have amazing fried rice - consider upgrading your white rice.

Phenomenal experience!!! Went with some friends and the food was outstanding! I especially enjoyed their Hakka chilli poutine, so unique and probably now one of my all time favorite foods!!! We also got Spicey garlic chicken which was amazing! The service was amazing and the restaurant is clean. 11/10 would recommend!! Ill definitely be back

The veg manchurian balls were very dry and tough and the gravy was enough for maybe 5 instead of the whole dish. The two different kinds of rice both tasted the same and undercooked. Both were so hard that we got a stomachache! The soup was at best passable. Totally not worth CAD 50+ we spent here. Picked up food from this place after reading the reviews. The service and atmosphere doesn t matter when the food is not up to the mark!

Ordered Manchurian Chicken dry only (was very dry and stale) and while ordering i clearly said no Rice in it.. but after taking out, i opened it and found 75% of rice and 25% of chicken. Not as expected.

The food is flavourful and just hits the spot. Portions are great for the price. The place is made for eat-and-go vibe so dont expect to have a date in there

The relentless pursuit of additional profit has turned this place into the least desirable. Today, I purchased Bombay chicken with rice for takeout, adding a 15% tip. When I requested small hot sauce packets, they refused to provide them for free, insisting on charging $1 each. Despite being a customer for over a year, Ive encountered their reluctance to offer sauces in the past, but today they embarrassed me by demanding extra money for a reasonable request in front of other customers. Furthermore, when dining in, these hot sauces and other condiments are readily available on the table for customers to use freely. Thus, their insistence on charging extra for the same items during takeout reflects unnecessary greed and an unjustifiable demand for additional payment.

This place has become really disappointing. Today, after being a regular for a year, I got Bombay chicken and rice for takeout and added a 15% tip. But when I asked for some small hot sauce packets, they wanted to charge $1 each, even though theyre free for people eating in. It felt like they cared more about making extra money than making customers happy. This kind of thing not only ruined my meal but also made me feel embarrassed in front of other customers. Its frustrating when they prioritize money over making their customers happy, making it hard for me to enjoy my food here.

This is like my go-to Hakka joint. Friendly staff and fast service within a blink of an eye. A nice clean little restaurant, fairly new over the last year or so I believe. Have eaten in and done take out - prices are reasonable for the amount of food you will receive and also the quality/presentation. You MUST indulge in their fish pakoras TRUST ME! It is an absolute flavor explosion like nothing else. The standard chicken fried rice is defiantly on point. Ive had some of their beef and chicken dishes - I have not been disappointed as of yet. Also a great place to bring your family for lunch or dinner. Parking: Lots of parking available.

I only order takeout here and the food is very reasonably priced. I always end up having leftovers because the portion is pretty good! I like ordering the shrimp pakoras which comes with this tangy sauce and the crispy beef. Their house special noodles are delicious too. They also have a lunch special that you can order a meal for about 10-12 bucks, so thats awesome. I love good prices for takeout especially with inflation now, everything is overpriced for what you are getting. Its possible to eat well and at a decent price here.

I dont know what happened in the last couple of weeks but the food, I ordered Chilli chicken, was not the same as before... Meat was full of cartilage and very large pieces of meat well breading actually was most of it. Lunch prices have went up a dollar also. I thought I had found a good hakka place but disappointed now

As the name says, this is one of the Best Hakka restaurant. Their service was good, place is clean and is conveniently located at Victoria Park and Eglinton. Their Chicken Pakora, Thai soup and curry rolls are simply the best. I will definitely revisit :)

This place is the worst place ever, I would never buy from them again. I had placed and order at 3:59 pm and it is 5:37 pm and I have still not received my order, I had called the restaurant many times to inquire about my order and they kept making excuses. They have poor management skills and worst Customer service, the manger is very rude and disrespectful, I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Tasty and economical. Would recommend this place for people looking for indo-chinise and Thai cuisine although its mostly Indo-chinise. The place could use a better signage, crockery and cutlery. Overall good in taste compared to many similar Hakka places. Good portion sizes for two.

The best Hakka around. I live down town more by Broadview and Danforth and drive up here regularly just to get Best Hakka. The staff know my order now off top of their heads. Big portions, amazing quality, friendly service and the price is right!!! I urge you to try this restaurant. Its a neat and clean no frills chinese place. A lot of takeouts were being ordered here. We dined in. There was only one girl at the reception who waited our table and was taking calls and attending to customers simultaneously. She was really quite efficient and attended to us quite well and that was impressive. Service was good. Food was good and definitely value for money. No extra service charges or anything added to bill which rather made me want to tip them for their good service and food. Will definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: They do have quite a few veg options. Parking: About 8-10 parking spots.

Great hakka food. The portions are generous and the service is good. But sometimes the quality isnt the best. For instance, the spring rolls can sometimes be frozen in the center. Other times they dont give enough meat and instead add more vegetables.

I go here with my family all the time and the Lucy specials are always so big but there so cheap they like only $12 each but it s absolutely massive so we get the pad Thai lunch special and it can feed 3 people!!! Definitely go here it s a must!

I initially visited this place when it first opened and wasnt overly impressed. I attributed it to the challenges of being a new establishment and growing pains . However, I decided to give it another chance and have now returned approximately six times. As a consumer, it is important for me to have confidence that my cravings will be satisfied with each visit (most often this isn t the case with other take-always )and that the quality will either be the same or even better than the previous experience. Consistency is key to earning my loyalty. Fortunately, I can say that this place has not let me down so far.

Best chicken Manchurian I ever had in TO. Very close to the one you get in Mumbai. Quantities are large and rice was not very oily which I loved. Chilly chicken was good too. Beef could have been spicier but it was our fault for not letting them know we would want it spicier. All in all will surely go back for Hakka. Especially since my fav Lin Garden shut down. Parking: It s a strip mall. Parking is limited but available.

Great value. Good portion sizes. Its hard to find a lunch special under $10 these days, and here you can even get it on a Sunday, which I appreciate. The food was hot and fresh, though I did need to add some salt to taste.

A colleague recommended this spot and I had to give it a try since I was in the neighbourhood today. The chili chicken (dry) comes with steamed rice. The portion is very generous and was good value. I feel it could have been spicier, but it was still tasty as is. Looking forward to sampling other items next time I m in the area.

We ordered from best hakka for our company holiday lunch, a large party of approximately 70 people. From the beginning they were so accommodating and helpful. The food was amazing and the portion sizing is huge! Great value for the price. Everyone I spoke to was so kind and I really appreciate the excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
