Authentic Thai Food Serving The Yonge And Sheppard Area.
Had a great time here for lunch! Seated by the window which was a nice view on a sunny day. Ordered the shrimp pineapple fried rice ($17), Beef khao soi ($16.50), salted egg yolk chicken wings ($10) and the Thai iced red milk tea ($5). Portions were generous with lots of protein given in the rice and khao soi. Everything tasted very fresh and flavourful and service was attentive. The free underground parking is such a plus too! Will definitely come here again to try more Thai dishes.
The Tom Yum soup has a rich tomato flavor, perfect for those who want to try it but are afraid of it being too strong. The Pad Thai balances sweet and sour flavors excellently, and cooked to perfection, with a generous portion. The pineapple fried rice has each grain distinct, achieving the most crucial aspect of fried rice. We especially appreciate that they include Chinese broccoli in the stir-fry, which adds authenticity. There are also three large screens on-site for watching sports, and a wide selection of drinks available, making it a great place for friends to hang out, drink, and watch sports together.
We tried Blossom for our first time last night. We ordered the salted egg yolk chicken wings, blossom special noodle soup with vermicelli noodles, Tom yum base, and smoked chicken, and the panang curry fish fillet. All three dishes were excellent. The fish in particular was spectacular, the batter was so thin and crispy. We loved the soup (as you can see from my photo). The smoked chicken it came with was delicious (also a dish I haven't seen before). Honestly with this quality food this place should be packed! Will definitely be coming back.
We decided to get takeout from Blossom and some dishes were ok and some needed improvement, especially with another Thai restaurant close by- the competition is stiff. The khao soi was good, noodles were a bit too tough and the broth was flavourful and spicy (although we asked for non spicy) and portion of chicken was generous. We also tried the salted egg yolk chicken wings, which flavour was great but the chicken wings were very small. The massamam curry was best summed up as…. A bit strange. The flavour reminded me of a Chinese dish that was heavy with cumin in flavour, I’ve never tasted a massaman curry like this before. We ordered the vegetarian version which included, broccoli, carrot, potato and leafy greens. In all, this restaurant has a lot of potential and is a welcome addition to the Avondale neighbourhood.
This place is fantastic! It's tucked away to the side on Yonge and definitely a hidden gem. It's clean and cheerful. Service was excellent, Great food that won't break the bank. The pineapple fried rice and the pad ka pao are worth the trip there. I would definitely go back again and again. Five stars all the way.
This is my first time coming here. I was introduced by one of my bro and it’s one of his friend’s resto. I said ok, will go try it. It’s really good. Atmosphere is nice, cozy. There is a karaoke if anyone is brave enough to sing. Very friendly servers. The red thai tea was the best I ever had which my bro recommended to try it, great choice he ever told me 😛. I had 3 and so did my 2 bros. It’s so good, not to sweet. It was just right, for me. I dunno for anyone else. Try it. As for food, we got the chicken wings with salted egg ( called Thai wing) and the braised beef khao soi noodle. I would definitely recommend coming here for Thai again with my friends. I also need to hear my bro sing. 😆😆…. Maybe not. Yah, forgot to take a pic of the salted egg chicken wing.
Went here for dinner and the food was great. Mango salad was fresh, wings were tasty, pad Thai was good, however the Khao Soi was the highlight of the night. The Khao soi was not overly coconut-y and was not super heavy, I honestly think it is the best I've had in the city. Highly recommend! The staff there were very attentive. If you don't have stage fright, there's karaoke on stage.
If you love Thai Food and near the North York area, you need to check out this spot! They currently are in the process of opening so it is mostly take-outs for now. Corner of Yonge and Florence besides OK Pho. The food is so delicious and the chef takes so much care and dedication in the quality. Not only that but the price is actually very good for the amount and quality of food you get. They have two menus lunch time and dinner time-you can check out their menus on Uber eats (I also took a picture of the menu). You have to check out their lunch time Thai Rice box, I got the Siganture Smoked Chicken Leg rice box, and it comes with rice and salad for only $11.99. I also got the Khao Soi, and it comes with abundent of chicken and large shrimp pieces too. For apps, I tried the Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Wings and omg it was really yummy, and had a nice crisp to it. Don't forget to grab their Thai Iced Tea as well. Once they are fully opened, I was told this spot will be more of a Thai Kitchen & Bar but for now it is a great spot if you're craving Thai food! What I ordered: Khao Soi Smoked Chicken Leg Thai Rice Box Salt Egg Yolk Chicken Wings Thai Iced Tea
It was originally a Thai restaurant, why dont we make it now? Is there a new restaurant?
Great place for Korean food and karaoke! Seafood hotpot is one the best I had in GTA! Good vibe and the waitresses are very nice. Will definitely be back soon:)
singing pocha Cherry Blossom Sojubang OPEN KARAOKE BAR. Beer is $6. Food (meals and snacks) is cheap and delicious, and you can sing to your hearts content. Im so happy that this new place has opened. Thats why I couldnt help but write a review. Changed to Korean Dishes and Open Mic Karaoke... Great sound with huge screen around the wall. I didnt like the Karaoke Room bcuz small and rush and must count the time.. But this place is no time limit not worry about singing charge by time. Also I like to see other peoples singing and enjoying together. Good for the group party. By the way food was very good also. Open from Lunch to Night 2pm.
Reallyyy tasty sundubu!!! Stopped by for dinner but seems like a fun spot for karaoke in the evening. Cute vibes with the twinkle lights and plants. Everyone was so nice too. Definitely recommend.
No Thai anymore it s Korean very misleading as the sign and website is still up and you can still book with the website ..,. Not sure who took over but the food was not good
This is a Korean-style soju room where you can enjoy food and drinks while enjoying singing in a large hall. It is a wonderful soju room where anyone who wants to sing and sing together with the guests who eat here, as well as dinner, can enjoy singing and dancing together. It was newly opened a few days ago. Therefore, it is likely to become the first model that can serve as an example of a healthy soju restaurant in Toronto where you can enjoy Yeohum with a meal. Moreover, the meal rates are cheap and the food is delicious ~~ This is a restaurant I would highly recommend. In particular, the singing is free and anyone can enjoy it with their meal. Superb Thai food, A must try!!
Very good Thai food with some authentic dishes. My family really liked the Pad Thai and the yellow curry. Reasonable food prices. Id pass on the spring rolls. Not much for vegetarians.
Promos made this place a 5 but overall food for the price is good.
Absolutely terrible! The pad see ew was recommended to me because they ran out of pad Thai. It came with 5 tiny sized shrimp that were rubbery and had the consistency of leather. The flavour was bitter, and the noodles were all dry, chopped, and stuck together. I wouldn t call this Thai food.
The server was really great!
Uniformed staff and lot of wait time
We went for dine-in for their soft launch and it was a pleasant experience. The waitress was extremely nice. The menu is small but the food felt like a good home cooked meal. They have one of my favourite drinks which is Thai Iced Green Milk Tea; seldomly do I see this on Thai restaurants menu. I hope their menu expands one day as Id definitely come back!
Ordered pad ka pao off uber eats. Tastes like dog food. Better off with eatBKK or chiang rai.
I decided to try the newly opened Blossom Kitchen since its suddenly the most cost-friendly Thai food option in the neighbourhood. I ordered their beef Khao Soi, chicken Pad Thai, and beef Pad Ka Pao as takeout. The food was delicious and the portions were solid even though they have cheaper prices than their competitor. The Khao Soi was my favourite. The beef they included was tasty and tender, and the curry soup wasnt overly heavy. The Pad Thai was tangier and less sweet than I was used to, but I was actually a fan because it seemed more authentic. I wish they included some crushed peanuts with my order though. The Pad Ka Pao was fine. I thought the braised beef couldve been more flavourful. If they nail that, that dish would become a quick favourite of mine. Overall, Im just thankful I have a reasonably priced Thai restaurant in my neighbourhood again. Yonge & Sheppard hasnt had one since the COVID-19 pandemic. I will definitely continue to be a customer!
Very good food, excellent service!
Happy New Year! Group of friends settled on a Thai food in our area and were we so impressed!! It was a quiet afternoon. We ordered the chicken pad Thai, the pad ka pow, and the Blossom special - all were SO amazing, we got two more pad thais to go. This place also features bottle service/karaoke. Initially they weren t open for the karaoke but the manager ended up letting us belt our hearts out. It was such a blast. Highly recommend for the warm service, delicious food, and authentic atmosphere
I ordered from buy one get one from Uber eats, but I received only one out of the two orders. Disappointed Food
Super cute and good food with large portion sizes! Would recommend checking it out if youre anywhere close to that area.
I ordered takeout from this place by walking in. The food is good; portion size appears small at first, but its actually more than you think when you start eating it (I think they could benefit from using bigger containers for better perception). Overall a good experience; will definitely go back to try more dishes :) (Tip: As some of you may know, being there in-person at restaurants usually ensures that you receive better food and service, since the margin is too low for Uber Eats and the like for restaurants. So if you can, go there in person to either dine-in or order takeout; this way you can better support your local businesses :)
I got the chance to try this new Thai place for takeout. Everything I ordered was delicious (Calamari, Massaman Oxtail Curry, Khao Soi Noodles with braised beef and Thai Iced Milk Green Tea). It was also packed well so the food did not get soggy during the transportation of the food. They are currently only available through takeout as they are doing renovations before they can open for dine in service.
The store wasnt easy to see but after finding it, i would be going there pretty often. for the price and quality of the food you cant find often. highly recommend if you are in the area and want fast service and inexpensive!
Fast & clean! Got a really good deal on lunch
Perfect food and amazing customer service, I will definitely be back!!!
I ve been trying to find a new Thai restaurant around the area, and I finally found the place!!! Great value and super yummy
Really kind customer service and great price for what you are getting! Cant beat the amount of food vs the price your paying for. What you see on google is what you get, the pics posted by big reviewers
We love everything here at Blossom Kitchen and bar. The food was excellent plus the Chef and staff are very friendly. We can t wait to visit again.
This just happened literally 5 minutes ago. It s 6:45pm. We read the reviews and really excited to try this new restaurant. Checked the open time, yep, open until 9pm on Thursday. So we came, and to our surprise, it s closed. Door is locked. Light is out. Nothing welcoming. The signage of the previous restaurant hasn t been replaced. We drove 30 minutes just to come home emptied-stomach. Verdict: 0/5. Please don t open a restaurant if you re not ready to serve. Such a waste of time.
It was Soooo good!! I really recommend I ll come again. Its so delicious. The free chicken was so delicious and it was my first time eating Thai food and it was great
cozy place with amazing food
Noticed there was a new restaurant in the neighborhood and thought we should give it a try. Went out for a lovely friday night dinner. Enjoyed the food and good service. Would come back in the future Food
great place to eat!
Loved the food its truly delicious with large portion sizes . The place is nice and spacious inside and the service is excellent. Will definitely return.
Blossom Kitchen was highly recommended, and did not disappoint at all. The quality of the food, and the well developed flavours were very authentic, and hit across all the different dishes we ordered so that we could test many things out. Will definitely return and eat in next time. It is great to have a quality place with friendly staff at that location.
Delicious. Creamy. Spicy. Great spot in the area. Great staff. Great job!
We came here for dinner and enjoyed the pad thai and curry. The food was delicious and they were good portions.
We ordered the egg yolk chicken wings, green curry, pad Thai and khao soy. All were delicious and good portion size. Our favorite was the khao soy.
Authentic Thai food Specially love the pad Thai shrimp Food
New Thai restaurant in the corner of Yonge street. Good food and service :) will come back to try other dish
The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Great quality food, fair prices. Will come back 100%!
Fantastic new addition to the neighborhood! Great Thai food, friendly expedient service, and a karaoke bar later in evening. Well done team Blossom!
Great new Thai place. Food is very good, better than all the Thai places in the area.
I ordered pick up for the first time. Amazing service in helping me select items. They made it fast and when I got home everything looked fresh. The Pad Thai tasted amazing, not the generic taste but the flavors were just right. I asked that everything wasnt spicy and they followed that to the letter. I have a new favourite Thai place Dietary restrictions: They accommodated perfectly Kid-friendliness: Kids loved it
Taste like real homemade food
Nice food and friendly staff! Very spacious restaurant offering authentic Thai cuisine!
Food was really good. Recommend it:)
It was really good food!!!!! Especially Japanese staff gave us perfect service Food
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend everyone!!! Food
We have cute and kind Japanese staff working there! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice, and I enjoyed my meal.
The interior and atmospere are very fancy. They have relaxful music and offer generous services. Above all, there are literally savory food there!
The place and the atmosphere are very good, you can enjoy a pleasant time. Riho is the best waitress in Toronto.
So happy to have another thai restaurant in the area as options are limited. Service was super fast and very friendly. Atmosphere is so lovely and looks like it s set up for a fun evening place with live entertainment. Food was tasty, portions were good value for the price and wonderful to take advantage of their 30 percent off new business offer and we also received two Thai iced teas on the house with our order. Looking forward to trying it again soon
Take out @ 7pm on a Saturday night. Restaurant was empty on pick-up. Ordered 5 dishes to take out. Barely enough for 2. Tom Yum soup, my favourite normally, was bland. Ordered it with chicken, it was 17!! For a soup! Pad Thai was ok, but with chicken it came to $30! The smoked chicken leg was very disappointing. Cold to start with and it didn t taste right. We threw it out. The green curry was the tastiest of all with a small cup of rice. The mango salad was ok. 5 dishes for over $100 take out! and it was barely enough for the 2 of us. Would I go back? No. Bad start for a new restaurant in an already busy area for restaurants. Especially with Pho OK next door and the WoodHouse BBQ below, whose portions and prices are realistic. I am sad for you Blossom Kitchen & Bar, as I wish every entrepreneur all the very best. I also want you there as it is walking distance for us. Stay alive, please. Good luck.
Yummy
Great service and food, good atomosphere would recommend everyone come try and will definitely come back for more visits Parking: Underground parking
Im sorry, but just because we used BOGO for the popcorn chicken, it doesnt make it right to scam your delivery customers. How is this a double portion? Look at what we got versus the picture of your single portion.
Delicious Thai food - taste just like what I had in Bangkok! If you re looking for a place with authentic Thai taste this place is for you. Recommend!
Pad Ko Pao Chicken was excellent. Just the perfect amount of spice. Would definitely have again.
Best pad thai ever Best music Playlist ever Recommended dishes
Great food and service. Loved the Thai ice tea!
Delicious food for both Takeout and Dine in. Will keep coming back!
We had a wonderful experience here! The food taste so good and the price is reasonable. Service is also great mentioning Misuki and Alpine, they are nice and welcoming. Definitely will come back!
Great vibe , service and food.
Had phad thai, khao soi and popcorn chicken. Love the food, the service was great. Recommended!
Ordered red curry and tom yum soup. Bottom line: If you cant afford giving BOGO to customers yet for your opening, just DONT - rather than baffling them with the teeny tiny portions OMG. I get it, youre not making profits, but Ive never had BOGO portions at any restaurants as upsetting as yours! Tom yum soup has a very mushroomy taste and too sour. Not recommended. 2 shrimps/portion tho - decent for the price. Red curry on the other hand tastes good but we got 3 small bites of chicken... And some veggies. See the pics below for the portion (not eaten yet) - the spoon is just to show how shallow it is and the whole toppings portion... And comparing it to the pic from the restaurant site, its baffling. This serves as a reference for others when ordering delivery - 4 portions and youll prolly still be hungry. Also for the restaurant, please rethink how youre presenting your new restaurant to people trying you out on Uber. Find some other ways like giving discounts on dishes and only do BOGO on 1 or 2 popular dishes so you can afford it and make a decent impression on your new customers. For this one though, youve already lost a few.
The food was delicious. We ordered pad thai, pineapple fried chicken rice and green curry chicken. All three plates were really good. Prices were reasonable. In the $15 range. Overall great experience. We recommend it! Food : 5/5
The favour of the green curry and noodle is good, but the portion is too small. It s not enough for an adult if you just order one.
Loved this place! After too many restaurants in this space have opted for dark/loud club type vibes, this is a properly cosy place with lovely food, attentive service, and a great atmosphere. Will be back again in person and likely for take-out as well. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible (nothing at this corner is - every business is either up a flight or down a half flight of stairs)
Incredibly delicious green curry! Also vegan friendly
We ordered take out of 3 dishes for 2 adults from app. The portion is too small for the price. The taste was okay, but not authentic Thai food.
Cute little place. Awesome food n service
Love the food and how spacious the restaurant is. They have karaoke nights too!
