Caribbean Cuisine Delight in North York

This is a little store in Yorkgate mall, a hidden gem that’s been there for years. I have to say one of the best spots for jerk chicken & oxtail. I call it my redemption place, every time I try a new Caribbean restaurant that disappoints, I come here to remind myself of how delicious oxtail and jerk chicken actually are. Definitely recommend to try it if you’re in the area. The two stars is for atmosphere & has nothing ti do with the business but the mall itself isn’t that special.

Yummy jerk chicken combo food. The staff was possibly a family they did cater well. This place is under rated. The food is good here. The patty was delish too. I would def come back its always a hard choice as the chinese food next door also serves yummy food. But for the carribean flavor this one is also yummy. A+++++ Keep it up! I always order the jerk chicken with rice and peas with jerk sauce . The red sauce was meg. The coleslaw salad is always gets me come back.

I did a party size order and everything was on point. Food was delicious and fresh.

I’ve been coming here for years for their jerk chicken. I like it more dry spice than saucy, and their hot sauce slaps every time.

We were looking for jerk in York and we came up here. Ordered the jerk and oxtail combo. Not sure if I was just hungry but it was definitely sooooo good. The oxtail is the bomb! The jerk spice was mild in taste which I like, maybe not for others. For the price and taste, that combo was great. It came up with leg quarters, maybe 5-7 pieces of oxtail, rice with beans and coleslaw.

Bought the jerk chicken and oxtail combo. Came up to $19 after tax. Came home open the box there was only 3 small pieces of oxtail and a quarter chicken leg. This place is a joke. I do not recommend this place at all. It was literally all rice.

Over priced and bad portions. Paid over $10 for a small with very minimal protein. If you want to pay over $10 for plain rice. This place is for you. Mediocre home cook. Sorry guys, won't be coming back.

I was at Caribbean Cuisine yesterday and Khadijah was very polite and profession. She smiled and had great service while being very attentive. She is wonderful, just the way customer service should be and a step beyond! The food was also great, I got the Oxtail with Noodles as well as the Jerk chicken with rice and peas! Great work Khadijah.
