Chicken place in North York

Love this family owned restaurant! I got the signature chicken sandwich with mayo and pickles, and fresh cut fries. Portion sizes were generous! Everything was hot & fresh to order and absolutely delicious. The owners of the restaurant are kind and very passionate about food and the quality of ingredients, and you can definitely taste the difference. Worth making the trip over there!

The food lives up to the high reviews. The chicken souvlaki portion is plentiful and the meat is cooked perfectly, the veggies are nicely charred but still have that satisfying crunch. I went on consecutive days and on the first I grabbed the signature sandwich which was delicious, I am not usually a fan of bread at all but the bun was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside and not at all doughy so I finished it all, this is an extreme rarity for me when eating sandwiches. The fries were also outstanding, they are almost surely cut in house and they are skin on which makes them even better. They also have an extremely wide selection of sodas that I haven't seen anywhere else ever, on back to back visits I had Dr. Pepper flavours I didn't even know existed previously. Will definitely be my lunch spot anytime I'm in the area.

Micheal and assume his wife run this family joint. They treat everyone like family. Ordered 4 chicken salad and souvlaki dinners and what a good job on food. The picture of the water is symbol of their heart. I forgot to ask for water for the kids and they give the kid a bottle and say don’t worry about it. Michael saw my kids and he brought them two bag of fries while we waited for our food. This is not a one off act of kindness, a young guy was about to leave and they packed up some soup for him to try. DON’T go expecting free stuff you cheapskate!!! Go because they are good folks producing quality food and it shows. TIP well!!!

My wife and I were in the area yesterday for work and we were looking for a spot to grab lunch before driving back to London. We saw that Chicken Place was highly rated on Google so decided to give it a try, and we’re both so happy that we did. Everything was fantastic! The food, the service, the atmosphere; not only are the owners incredibly nice people, you can tell by talking to them that they are very passionate about making their customers happy and satisfied with their food. The food was so fresh and flavourful. Next time we’re in town we will definitely be stopping by again! I’m still thinking about the Chicken Place Sandwich I ordered and can’t wait to get it again; definitely the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten!

I enjoyed the Chicken Greek salad - and the price point was good at $15.95 plus tax. The portion was generous (especially with the feta cheese!) and the flavours were all there...The only constructive criticism I would give is the chicken, although tasty, was served more luke-warm (I'm not sure if that's deliberate because of the salad) and I would have enjoyed more black olives (there were only three). Next time, and there will be a next time as I can see how much love goes into preparing and serving the food, I'll ask for extra black olives and hotter chicken!

Amazing food, owned by even more amazing people. I arrived after hours, unaware that the place was closed, only to find Michael restocking the fridge. He greeted me outside and kindly offered to make me a sandwich despite the closing time. Michael even took the time to give me a tour of where he prepares the chicken. To top it off, he insisted on treating me to a free drink! The sandwich was amazing! He has definitely earned a customer for life.

Just a great experience. Lovely lady at the counter made all feel welcome to say the least. The 2 legs with two sides just can’t be beat. Great taste, great value. The chicken and fries were perfect.

Absolutely delicious, everything on the menu looked great but I had the chicken place sandwich and my wife had the chicken fingers & fries. Everything was cooked to order so it wasn't super fast but it was hot and fresh and that's more important to me. They have a great drink selection as well! Very friendly staff and very helpful when asking questions. It was fairly busy and we had to wait for a seat but the turnover was quick and it wasn't an issue at all. We will definitely be back!
