3555 Don Mills Rd #4, North York, ON M2H 3N3, Canada
Noodle house Plus
One of the deer garden location , right next to No Frills ( Don Mills and Finch ) . Offer daily specials $13-15 with a tea.
I ordered a noodle to go. The one with peanut sauce, beef slices and enoki as a selection of your two choices. Their complementary items like the regular mushrooms (i asked for none) How do you end up taking out the enoki (that is charged) and giving me the mushrooms that i didnt want. At lease put it on the side if you're unsure. Going to other locations from now on.
Food is amazing here.. We visited Skymark for some work, and decided to grab lunch from this restaurant. Place is packed during lunch time, and rightly so. Food is amazing! We had the hainanese Chicken Rice noodles and the pork chops with Egg and onions on rice.. and both dishes were delicious! Highly recommend the restaurant!

The fish soup is always impressive. Their portion is huge, I normally need to take away 😅. The service is also quick and servers are all nice. Must try their spicy chilli sauce!
Great place to visit, especially during winter time! I’ve been here several times since many years ago but I decided to leave a comment after this visit. The fish soup rice noodle taste extremely well. I finished it within 15 min and I was sweaty after the meal. The price is amazing. You get a rice noodle and a drink at the price $15.75, it’s hard to find anything cheaper in Toronto now. In a word, it’s a great place to go for a fast meal. The service is just like any Cantonese restaurant, nothing special. I’m just here for a fast meal anyways so idc too much about service
Decent HK cafe located next to a No Frills. I'd say the food is average and would give it 3.5 stars. I gave them 4 stars on Google because of their drink selection included with many of the meals. There is no extra charge for Ovaltine and Almond Milk which is a rare find, and they are served in insulated metal cups. Service is also fast. I would eat here again. They don't take credit card 💳.
I've been here multiple times. Always friendly service. Love their different variety of noodle soups. Love you can choose from a set menu or go the customized way. Update Feb 26,2023 Tried their hainan chicken, it was very good and fresh and the housemade sauces.
I have eaten at the Richmond Hill Fruit Shop and it was delicious. It calls for the same fish soup but I don t know why it is so difficult to eat... The hot lemon tea is so bitter that I can t drink it. The clerk explained that lemons are sometimes bitter in winter... Smiling lightly, in the end he was willing to exchange for a cup of hot water, so he wouldnt be there again in the future.
I arrived 15 minutes before the shop opened, but the lady didn t allow me to enter. It was -3°C and snowing outside. Ill leave it at that.
big portion, noodle bowl enough for 2, debit and cash Parking: come as soon as open to find parking, busy due to No Frills beside Food : 5/5 |
There is seafood in the XO sauce. I am allergic to seafood. When I felt uncomfortable, I just asked the waiter to take it away for me, but not only did he not take it, he also said it would be fine if I left it. Fortunately, I am not dead. If I am going to die, you will not only take away XO-chan, but also take away my body. The XO sauce has seafood, and I have seafood allergy. When I dont feel comfortable, I just told the servicer to take the sauce away, but he didnt and said the sauce on the table wont influence me. Fortunately , I am not dead. If I were to die, you would not only take the XO sauce, but also my body. Dietary restrictions: There is seafood in XO sauce. I am allergic to it and asked the waiter to take it away, but he refused to take it. He just wanted to poison me. There is seafood in the XO sauce. I am allergic to it. I had a sore throat the next day after eating it, and then started having a fever. Not only that, my friend who ate with me also felt unwell, and her symptoms were not just a sore throat. The soup base is delicious and the portion is generous! The rice noodle set also comes with a hot drink! tastes very good
The landlady is very enthusiastic
I tipped 25% and wanted a paper cup to take my hot drink away, but they asked me to charge 0.5 yuan. I gave 25% tip and wanted to have a paper cup to have my hot lemon tea to go. They still ask me 50 cents for a cup.
After hearing glowing recommendations, I checked out Deer Garden Signatures and was impressed by the hearty bowls and comforting atmosphere. It s located in an unassuming plaza, and while the signage is clear, it blends into the surroundings. A heads-up: they only accept cash or debit, so plan accordingly. Inside, the space is casual and roomy, with leather seating and a straightforward layout that s more about function than ambiance. Perfect for a relaxed meal but not a date-night spot. The star here is the customizable noodle and tea combo. I chose the Szechuan Spicy Soup with beef brisket, fish fillet, and rice noodles. The bowl was generous, with tender brisket, flaky fish, and fresh veggies adding a nice balance. The broth was rich and spicy, ideal for a chilly day. The noodles leaned soft, but the toppings more than made up for it. My hot milk tea, included in the combo, was simple but satisfying. Service is minimal but efficient, and the restaurant was clean throughout. If you re craving a hearty, customizable meal, Deer Garden is a great spot to satisfy those noodle cravings. I ll be back to try more!
I thought the fish soup noodles were their signature dish, and I thought it would be delicious, but who knows~ I won t tell you if it s too much! Really bad
Food is pretty good But the waitress proactively asked for tips at the end (cash & debit only) Food
The cashiers attitude is questionable. She asked for tips impolitely, only accept cash with no discounts, and stared at customers during billing. The food was okay, but the cashier s service makes me not want to return.
Nothing too special and prices are decent. A nice place to sit to catch up with friends
Food is normal. Service is typical Hong Kong style impassive-face-no-communication-serve-then-disappear-pretend-to-be-busy-or-you-owe-him-money service. Food
The curry boneless beef short ribs left me soulful memory, highly recommend
I think we ordered a wrong items. It seems this place specialized in soup based items. We ordered Hainan Chicken rice & popcorn chicken -- these items are so so. Their combo offers with drinks items (like boba etc even if you have to pay a bit extra) are good deals. Place is nice & good place to hang out with friends. Service also good!
Eat it once and you will have diarrhea and doubt your life.
Tipping depends on the service in the store. If I give you $18.9, I will give you $20. You think it is too little. Its up to you...you bring the noodles and theres no other service. The tone of paying the bill is not good, shouting to give more tips. Dont eat.
The service attitude is extremely poor, go to another branch.
When I sat down, no one gave me anything. After I finished writing, the guests had to send it to them. There was no service at all.
Eat it often! The meat smelled bad after eating it twice
Had this back in richmond bc. The place has seen little change since covid and the food is just as good as i remembered. The soup is amazing!! Food
Daily specials and great deals
Had the fish soup with flat rice noodles and beef slices. Felt like the noodles were a little overcooked. The soup was too fishy and the beef tasted a bit metallic. Not a fan of the flavours but maybe it s on me for making the wrong selections
Nice Hk style food
The meal I ordered was fried pork chop with rice. The taste of the pork chop was okay, and the fried crust was crispy, the paired sauces was very average and insufficient, which did not effectively connect the taste of the rice and meat. A group of seven of us arrived at the restaurant at eight oclock, which was about to close and had a lot of empty seats, so we wanted to sit more comfortably, but the waiter tried to arrange very tight seats for us, which made us unhappy and affected our dining mood.
The food is good and the price is not expensive.
Food was great however the server do not understand English. We ve been eating here a lot and we ve been served always by this lady who always in a rush. Also, we ordered for the combo and asking for the free drinks but she didnt gave us. Poor service
Not going again
Delicious
Waste of my money here today with such a bad services from waitresses and even the food. End up when I prepared to pay the 46$ bill, the cashier looked at my $50 bucks and at that time, I was going to find $1 or $2 more in my pocket. She mentioned to me by pointing the receipt that this bill not including tips. I took my debit to pay instead. In my mind, you guys with that attitude will not deserve even a cent tip from me. Also restaurant was dirty with flies around.
Food taste and quality is average. Bright and clean environment. The only thing that I would like to suggest is restaurant should provide more payment options like Visa or MasterCard. Currently only accept debit or cash. Parking: Limited parking if you visit during busy hours especially theres a supermarket in the same plaza.
The custom guacamole-style Hainanese chicken rice dish (boneless) was life changing. Leslie and Finch branch guys. Beautiful and tender and just moorish.
Ive tried other Deer Garden locations but this is my favourite. The portions are so generous, the food is hot and fast, great and friendly service and the venue is also clean and bright. We had the classic build-your-own noodle soup and I had the chicken cutlet curry which was the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. I like how the curry comes in a bowl on the side so you can add as much or as little as you like. The chicken cutlet was also perfectly cooked and so tender and juicy. The noodle soup bowls were very generous with the squid and beef tendons (when selected in your build). A classic, HK style cafe that wont disappoint. Parking: Located in the No Frills plaza so lots of parking spaces available but shared with other patrons of the other stores in the plaza.
Not tasty, bad attitude, don t come here
Good food friendly service
Good authentic rice noodles!!
Very good noodles!!
The fish soups are toooo fishy. When they put it on the table, the smell made me nuts. We complained and they said maybe you re not used to it. I m not a sensitive person and in my hometown we eat fish a lot. Will not come again.
Parking: HIGH RISK! Less this store and more the entire retail entity here. Whatever you do, do not leave your vehicle and go off their property: they will see on their cameras and immediately report your car for impound. If youre a Seneca student especially, or if you are seen with a backpack, they will call in towing services the second you step off property, regardless if youre a customer. Come only if youre willing to risk $300 expense. From personal experience, I left to pick something up before lunch and within the hour my van was towed.
Deer Garden is a GTA staple for Asian noodles, specifically their fish soup base. Theyve raised the price for the standard noodle combo to $15.75, which I still think is reasonable for the current food prices we see. The combo comes with a noodle, two toppings of your choice, and a drink. My favorite is the Original Fish Soup, and I usually get Sliced Beef and Luncheon Meat. The noodles already come with some toppings like napa cabbage and tofu skin, so its not only the two toppings you pick. Getting the meat options are probably more worth it. I also get the rice noodle (thick) and the cold milk tea. It says that you need to pay $0.75 for the take out beverage, but mine was in a take-out ready container without asking. There is also the option to get discounted side dishes with each order of noodles. My favorite is the popcorn chicken, which is actually delicious. You can add it on for $4.50, compared to $9 if you order it separately. They now offer Hainanese chicken on rice or in a noodle form. This is new so theres a promotional price going on, $13 down from $16. My boyfriend tried this and it was actually pretty good - the portion of chicken looks small but the cut of meat is good and doesnt contain bones like most other places. They also offer two dipping sauces, the traditional green onion ginger sauce is in a paste format which is actually not bad. I actually enjoy the fact that its not as oily as the traditional sauce, but some people might not enjoy it. Overall I like Deer Garden for a casual meal. The price is a bit higher now but not unreasonable, expect to spend around $50 including tax and tip for two diners. Also they only take cash or debit.
If I can choose my seat instead of them arranged the seat for me.
Service was quick and efficient.
Tastes good
Not great. They don t give you hot tea, skimp on the toppings, charge for wooden chopsticks, don t really do much service other than bring your food and expect more than 15% tip for doing just that. They brought back our receipt tray when we didn t give more than 15% tip; I should ve just taken the top back with that attitude. I ve been to other deer gardens, go to the one at silver star or in Markham, not this one. I was wondering why this place wasn t as busy when we got in, this is why. Avoid this location.
Good place
Very arrogant people they force you to tip even when you have an option of no tipping. Understand if a person is not tipping there must be a reason behind it with service and instead of checking with customer if they liked food or not they say if you don t tip, next time don t sit here and just do a takeout. Very very rude.
One of the best restaurant around the area. Food is great but what surprised me the most is the service here. I love how nice and enthusiastic the two beautiful ladies always are. Will definitely recommend this place for others if you are looking for quality food of reasonable price!
Came here for lunch and it wasnt too busy but the service was still a bit slow. The person took awhile in grabbing our orders but the food came fairly quickly. We got popcorn chicken, the special set menu: pork cutlet in spicy Malay soup and teriyaki. The set also comes with a drink and we got the HK style milk tea but you can change it to a cold drink or other specialty drinks. 1) Popcorn chicken Didnt expect much and it was just the standard popcorn chicken. It definitely had the Taiwanese flavouring which is always good. It came out quickly and was nice and fresh. 5/5 2) Pork cutlet and Malay soup I really enjoyed the soup, it had good spicy Malay flavour. The portion is good for the price as well. The pork cutlet came with tartar sauce and the meat ratio was decent. 5/5 3) Teriyaki chicken This was also just regular although it was a lot of food in one bowl. The sauce on the rice was great as it gave it a bit of flavour and was not dry. 5/5 Overall, the food here is standard and great for lunch. The service could use a bit more work but its not too bad.
A great store, good service, clean store,
Food was pretty good, incredibly filling and huge in portion Waiters were quick but ignored you if you didnt call out to them There were fruit flies flying around aswell and they questioned me on not tipping after I paid $30 for a meal, like come on. For that reason alone I probably wont be coming back.
The taste is pretty good. I feel comfortable coming here every day. There are many flavors to choose from. The waiters have a better attitude. They feel like family. It s great.
Food is great! The soup is hot and tasty. The chicken teriyaki is very tender and juicy.
Food is great. They seem to be understaffed most of the time with only 2 servers.
Good noodles Can t go wrong Recommended dishes
Not bad. The price is good. Also, you can select a free drink.
I highly recommend Deer Garden Signatures North York located at 3555 Don Mills Rd #4, North York, ON M2H 3N3. This Chinese restaurant is an absolute must-visit, especially if youre in the North York area! Recently, my friend drove me to this fantastic spot to celebrate the end of the semester, and it was an incredible experience. The restaurant itself is incredibly inviting, with a comfortable and modern ambiance that sets the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. As for the food, I opted for their delightful combo, which consisted of the mouthwatering Red Braised Pork Tender Bone on Rice priced at $12.99, along with a refreshing Red Bean Ice for only $2.5. The flavours were exceptional, and the portion size was perfect for a satisfying meal. What impressed me the most was the quick service provided by the attentive staff. Within just 15 minutes, our orders arrived at the table, and we were delighted to discover that the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients. It was evident that the restaurant takes pride in delivering top-quality meals promptly. If you happen to visit Deer Garden Signatures North York by yourself, I suggest going for the combo option. Its an excellent choice that perfectly caters to a single persons appetite. Additionally, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including delectable noodles and other enticing options to suit every palate. Overall, Deer Garden Signatures North York is a remarkable Chinese restaurant that you simply cannot miss if youre in the area. From the inviting atmosphere to the swift service and delicious food, it checks all the boxes for a memorable dining experience. Make sure to pay them a visit you wont be disappointed!
Got 2 spicy dishes. Really good. Who doesnt like spicy? Pfft
We were told to sit randomly by a waitress who were sitting there and point to the table. Not much service but force us to pay tip when we did not give tip. Won t recommend
The dish is just ok. But they will make you pay the tips without any service. Just not recommend this shop. Food
Got the haianese chicken rice and man is this a rip off... $13.99 promotional price and at full price its $15.99. You get a few pieces of chicken, sauce and rice. Cold drink is extra as well. Everything also went up in price! Holy moly.
Good food... good prices and portions.
Upon our arrival at around 8:05, we were informed that the last call would be at 8:30. Although the restaurant officially closes at 9, the staff can leave at that time, as evidenced by the cooks departure at 8:45. Throughout our dining experience, the staff displayed impatience, rushing us from the moment we placed our order. They directed us to the payment counter only for card transactions, while she was fine with walking if it was cash. While the food itself was satisfactory, its important to note that the take-out cups come at an additional cost of $0.50 each and are considerably small. Edit (6/23): By the way the staffs attitude was probably due to us going in close to closing but no restaurant staff should have that kind of personality wether they are close to the end of the day or not.
At 11:30 in the morning, our family of four went to this Luyuan store. Because they were twins, both babies needed highchairs. There was not a single customer in the store. When we entered the door, a waiter looked surprised and asked, do both babies need highchairs? She said yes, and she became impatient. She said that if she wanted both, it was lunch time and there was no place to put them. I said, you don t have any customers in this store. Can t we eat with two babies? She said no one was sure. Many customers came in a while. So, let me ask you, there is not a single customer in your store now. If we have two babies, we are not customers and do not deserve to eat. I have been to every Luyuan store and I have never seen such a bad attitude. The waiters are so bad. I don t expect anything special with two babies. They cannot provide even the most basic services. I suggest those with two babies not to come here. We don t deserve to eat! ! I haven t seen such a bad thing in Canada for so long!
Horrible. Was the last to receive my food in my party of 8. Food portion not worth the cost. Server was ruined rushing the table and spilled ice water on my lap. When paying, disregarded the tip for the poor service and waiter came to my table tip shaming me in front of the rest of my party.
great!
Not worth this price
The waiter felt that a relative had passed away. She was crying and had a very bad attitude, as if we owed them money.
The service is very good, good food
Very good and healthy noodle soup. Food is 9/10. Only thing is that they like to push you for tips by either having you waiting for the changes or breaking up $5 bill change into loonies and even quarters. tf??? IT IS reasonable asking tips and I did give them $5 for $15 noodle last time. This time I gave them $25 for $20 food and just want to tip $2 just because they asked me to switch to a smaller table while the restaurant is pretty empty. After that I had to stand in front of the cashier and waited for my changes back. Same time there were two young ladies (high school looking) finished and waiting for changes back and ofc they never got it as they were a bit shy to ask. I ll still go & enjoy the food there but honestly will keep minimum contact/requirement with the server!!!
they charge tip base on after-tax amount
The taste of the fish soup is getting weaker and weaker, and the attitude is still very bad. They dont bring utensils but they still ask for tips without hesitation. Im used to it!
The portion size of Hainanese chicken takeout is far different from that of dine-in. . After opening the box, I really doubted my life. .
the food was great aside from lacking salt, however the service was horrible, a middle aged lady was so rude and did not let me finish my sentences.
The quality has dropped a lot. I used to be able to choose three side dishes, but now I can only choose two. The price has increased a lot. A bowl of rice noodles is 15.75 without tax. The quality of the chili oil has also dropped. There used to be a lot of small shrimps in it, but now It s also hard to see. The free tea that came in was also poured. It feels like bankruptcy is not far away.
I ate the rice noodles in the restaurant, I tasted vegetable very bitter, so I just told waitress, she did not help to deal with the problem and she did not say sorry even!!
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. We have a 15month kid. Obviously she can t eat any of the hot soup and meals, but doesn t mean we are not a good customer. In fact, I ve been a customer for many years at the Richmond hill, north york, and downtown locations. Today when I am this north york spot, with my kid, one of the waitress came over and tell us no outside food. So lack of common sense or courtesy. I was about to leave but sucked it up for my daughter. Please train your staff, don t discriminate kids
A store with high CP value
Service was fine during the Sunday lunch rush. Staff accommodated our group of four with a baby. Less brisket compared to the RH location but overall its still good.
Flies like us, 2 times in a row flying around my food! My favourite tomato pumpkin soup base, missing pumpkin 2 times in a row. While i was munching my food, I took the courage to ask.. the lady told me that I should have dig around the bowl and told them first thing upon received. Fine, my bad! They did give me back a serving of pumpkin separately. Later I found a molded looking bean curd :( oh gosh, I had enough. Will go to the other location from now on.
The restaurant was really empty for lunchtime, with only a few tables of patrons during peak lunch hour, which was surprising. The quality has decreased since it first opened, with fewer ingredients in the broth and smaller portions than in the past. The fried fish side dish we got was also like a solid piece of fish rather than a flaky filet, which was also disappointing. The service was good, but the food quality was not as great, so I would definitely think twice about returning.
Quick and attentive service. Clean and relaxing space. Food was really good and reminds me of my mom.
Service is same as before, but the food is getting worse, not tasty like before. I rather go to other deer garden location, not here anymore.
recommend
The Hainanese chicken rice is better than I expected.
Very good food! One of the best Hainanese chicken rice I had in Toronto. The chicken s meat is juicy and firm, doesn t have that industrialized texture and taste. We also ordered braised pork belly, which is amazing, as the pork melts in our mouth.
tongue
Service was good. Food is decent. Priced well.
I asked to sit on the usual spot and was granted to sit there by a waitress. However, another waitress forced me to sit on a smaller table just because its Sunday even tho there were plenty of empty tables around. Ive been a customer to all their locations since the day they opened and have always ordered honey lemon water to go on the side. I have introduced many customers and friends here to help their business for years. After this incident I will never come back and will tell all my friends to do the same.
Lu Yuan is the closest Hong Kong-style rice noodle I have ever tasted. The rice noodles are refreshing and chewy, the portions are generous, and the rice is very filling. Choice of two rice noodles for $15.75 (note that prices vary between branches, downtown will be 1/2 more expensive). You can choose from different soup bases, two toppings, and change the soup base and food.
Good taste
You get to choose several broth and toppings yourself, almost like a hotpot bowl already cooked for you For each of the customized noodles order , you get some veggies (cabbage and bean sprouts) already, so if you eat meat, order double the meat for a more satisfying bowl. We were a fan of their laksa and fish broth!
Fresh and rich fish soup rice noodle soup!! Delicious and will be back again. Chicken wings were great too, don t miss that.
Got the Malaysian laksa soup with vermicelli noodles, along with popcorn chicken and pork chop to share. The noodle bowl is massive. Definitely share one when you come here. Service is fast and you get a lot of choice when customizing your soup.
Store clean. Good service
Come here for comfort food. You wont regret it.
I come here at least once a week. Great custom noodles. The curries are great too!
More like 4.5/5 stars. Decent food for an affordable price, friendly staff, quick service, it s good
Good food, great value, friendly staff
Still top notch!
Excellent value, huge portion and tastes great. Their rice noodles are the best on menu. Many choices on the mix-and-match menu. This is my go-to restaurant. Overall: 4.7/5 ________________________ Taste (40% of overall): 4.5/5 Portion (20% of overall): 5/5 Price (20% of overall): 5/5 Comfort (10% of overall): 5/5 Service (10% of overall): 4/5
Prefer the Silver Star Blvd location more. This location is much smaller and not as nice on the inside. Service was also not that great, especially compared to the other. Noodles were comparable but the soup was more oily here.
I ordered takeout and asked for cilantro. When I got it home, there was still a lot of cilantro and there was no beef. The service attitude is average. As a regular customer, I remember it was not like this before.
Loved their soup, lots of veggies and not greasy. Service was good.
Damn yummy noodle soups, great proportions and prices.
Deer Garden specializes in rice noodle soups, which are always consistent in quality. Portion sizes are good and most of their meals also come with a drink. Will definitely return
I had fonder memories of Deer Garden prior to the pandemic. I went just today and was pretty disappointed. We had the laksa and original fish soup, and both tasted pretty watered down. For $15.75 not including tax per meal, I felt like I got scammed for what I got. Service was quick, standard, and nothing much to write home about. I enjoyed the milk tea, it was quite strong and tasty, but I cant say the same for the noodle soup as it isnt what I remember it as. This overall isnt worth the money, and I would go elsewhere for a lunch option.
Very bad experience as a woman of colour! They put me in the corner whilst grouping all the Asians together to avoid coming near or making eye contact my partner and I. My food was very spicy which was not the problem. She didn t bring our drinks until the end of our meal. She didn t even refill the glasses of water until we were done with our meal. I tried to get her attention but every time I d look at her she d instantly look away and walk over to serve someone else. When arriving, I was not served my drinks till the end of the meal while the other guests of the same ethnicity were served their complementary drinks immediately. I left no tip because of the bad service and she had the audacity to run to my table and ask for a tip. I m disappointed because the food was good but the service so bad.
There were flies everywhere, and when I paid 7% tip, the waitress stopped me at the door and asked for more
I had a good experience when I dine in few days ago. Excellent service, the waitress is very friendly and helpful.
Very bed customer service. Food doesnt taste very good. Bed experience
Best service around don mill area. Super nice and kids friendly.
Parking: Mall parking
Its my family restaurant, yummy food.
The attitude of the waiter is a bit bad, it feels like he is treating diners like a charity
The was food was great. Waitress s were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend!
Taste good
Been there several times, great flavour with rice noodles, beef tongue is cooked to perfection Only draw back is they never have the milkshake though it s on the menu
They only accept debit and cash. The waitress was really impatient and rude to us.
Best laksa soup in the GTA. Get it with beef brisket and fish fillet for maximum value.
This is a great location. I am happy to have found it. The food is delicious and freshly made. The restaurant is fairly large and up to date. But again back to the food, so well done and well presented. I got the daily special and the price is right for what I got.
Food, Chinese milk tea and service are good
Even if Im alone, I can string you along, even the horse wont recognize you. Food is good though
Pricey
Awesome soups just came back after two years due to pandemic restrictions and the soup is just delicious so much flavour wont wait long to come back
fish soup excellent, portion standard the same every time, healthly for senior and kids
Worst customer service and food SUCKS!! The restraunt smells like bathroom, flies everywhere. That over-weight woman in ponytail and speaks Cantonese doesnt deserve a penny of tips! We wont come back again and wont recommend to anyone.
That Hong Kong waiter has such a bad attitude
This restaurant is very delicious and the price is reasonable. Remember to ask for Maggi soy sauce when ordering your meal Remember to ask for chili sauce when eating noodles, their chili sauce is really delicious 10% off cash
nice fish broth noodles
Love the noodles here! Take out orders are quick too.
Food and service was good. My go-to is the Laksa soup base. The soup is very very creamy and has a kick of spice (it wasn t too spicy and I usually can t take spice so it was perfect). The food also arrived really quickly!
The best place to go for comfort food! Customize noodles however you like and tons of options available for drinks. Tables were spaced out for social distancing and food came out very fast! Portions are also very generous.
Good
Food is good, service not too good
The fish soup rice noodles are always tasty and fun to choose your own toppings. It s also nice that they tell you which items have msg in them. The noodles also come with a free drink and discount side dish options. Great value and taste.
This location has better soup base than the Times Square location. The service is much better than other location. Highly recommend.
Good quality, huge portion (a bit too much actually for me), and fairly priced. Selection is large. The decor is okay, but nothing to write home about.
This location is good and maintains the standard of the flagship location in Scarborough. Fish noodle soup is the best!
Loved it! Always been to the hwy7 one, glad to the taste & flavor remain top notch at this location as well!
Great food and service, fair priced. Dont take credit cards
Come often, delicious
Got the build your own noodles and got the laksa soup with udon noodles with pork and mushshroom balls and beef brisket. The noodles was very tasty i must say and the portion size was big. The only this i disliked is how the card you order on was organized. The build your own noodles comes with a free drink and on the card you just choose hot or cold and i chose a cold drink thinking it was just a cup of iced milk tea. (I was half right on that) After we called the server back to give him our order, he informed us that cold drinks are $1 extra. This baffled me. It cost a dollar extra for ice? Absolute nonsense. Everything was pretty good, it was just the way order card was laid out. A nasty and gross tactic to use since they know most people will pay it. I wont tho.
Always enjoy the food here. Laksa is the best. Wasnt busy around 5 pm on Friday.
A local favourite, Deer Garden has possibly the best choose-your-own-noodle selection in the GTA. The secret is in the soups. The no MSG but full-flavour soups are amazing and fills the tummy. I enjoy them a lot and come here often for both take-out and dine-in. Theres a regular fish soup, the century egg + parsley, gingko pepper soup, malay laksa soup, and more. Something for everyone and Ive yet to have a bad soup there. My only tick is that the price has gone up significantly since theyve opened, but thats more of a complaint on the pricing since COVID started. A great option for lunch or dinner!
Food
Huge portion!
Good daily specials. Quick service
Ok
The Malay soup base is highly recommended. I ve noticed the quality is not always the same though. The service is usually good, but it can be rushed if you get there later! They start cleaning 30 min before the closing time!
