Came here for an Angus combo and birthday cake pie. I might be a bit biased because I've always loved Harvey's since childhood. Therefore, I have definitely noticed the shrinkflation. The service was quick, and the food was great. Love that Harv sauce and ghost pepper mayo.
This location was my go to Harvey’s and workers were good but in past couple months theres a grumpy old cashier and last night she showed so much attitude i was just waiting and she was repeatedly told me why you stay in store you have to tell me even though when i first arrived she was busy and i was just waiting for my online order Still food was good just her attitude ruined the atmosphere
Food is fine. Workers are low IQ with an attitude. I had an uber eats order and approached the cashier 3 times. She kept saying my order isn’t ready when it’s been sitting on the counter the entire time. Finally I get my order and they don’t even apologize for being wrong.
Ordered a combo with fries. For some reason the employees yelled at me to move somewhere? I wasn't sure what they meant. I was the only one there at the moment as well. The fries tasted like they were thawed out before frying it. They were watery on the inside somehow. The burger I ordered was burnt on the bottom. When I asked for a a different order of fries, the guy said no. Won't be coming here again.
A few minutes ago, I ordered the chicken bacon ranch poutine, and unfortunately, the chicken and bacon were not fresh. The chicken was overly moist, and the texture was unpleasant. When I asked the person behind the counter if they could chop some veggies to add on top, they rudely refused and added the vegetables without chopping. The pickles, tomatoes, and cucumber slices were too large to eat comfortably, and the employee said that it was a strange way to eat poutine. It's disappointing when employees show no appreciation for customer service. If someone doesn't enjoy their job, perhaps they should consider finding something they are passionate about. I would highly recommend not coming here if you need better customer service.
Worst Harvey's ever not blaming the franchise or the staff working there blaming the management all those offers and food at low price for what, get it delivered in time before food gets cold, the food is not edible or what we ordered got a watered down slushies' with cold soggy burgers and fries, waste of money, and the packing was great. Nice big tasty burger. Price is reasonable. Service is ok. They are fast too... A bit of line up when I came and stop by. Parking is very limited and tricky. It's a bit traffic in the area but No frills is besides it so there's more parking behind.
Great food, quick service, decent sized dining room, good for a lunch or quick dinner on the way home. Sometimes the ordering area gets super packed and the staff can't keep up with taking the orders and the line backs up out the door. Other than the small ordering area, the staff can be hit or miss with service depending on the day or shift.

My onion rings were cold in the middle, the fries were under cooked. Dont think Ill be back. This used to be a good spot. How hard is it to make rings and fries when thats like your thing. Not the locations fault. But. Enough with the shrinkage of your burgers. Not impressed. Harveys, with its cashier Romaldo and server Rohit, offered a delightful experience. Romaldos friendly demeanor and efficient service, combined with Rohits attentive listening and excellent presentation of toppings, elevated our visit. The food was satisfying, and their exceptional service made the experience memorable.
Food was good but the service is pretty bad. There is usually like 2 or 3 people working at a time even during lunch. We had to wait for the employees to finish mopping(?) before taking our orders. Maybe skip out on this Harveys.
North Toronto s number one place for burgers fries and shakes! Everyone is friendly and great service. They deserve 5 stars and nothing less. Plus it s super clean. Parking: Free parking!

I have been going to Harveys for over 35 years, always great, very little sets them apart. However my experience here was stellar. The staff I friendly and knowledgeable and seem very happy to work there. My kids started to speak with a man cleaning the Dinning room, he introduced himself as Michael. It ends up Michael is the owner. Obvious why employees are happy to work at a place like this when you see the owner taking pride in his restaurant. Will return.
If I could give zero stars I would. The manager was a complete a**hole did not want to solve the problem and the solution she offered was to charge the entire price again. If anyone wants to deal with a rude manager you are welcome to go to this Harvey s!!!

If you want heatstroke, dine-in here. It was a hot day yesterday(June 2nd) and when I entered the restaurant, it was even hotter in there. I wanted to dine-in but I just couldnt bare the heat. I barely got my order in before sweating like a pig. But that isnt even the full extent of my rant. What I am most horrified about is that your employees have to work in this heat. There was an older asian lady as the cashier and I could tell how uncomfortable she was. I asked her about the heat and she told me that the A/C was broken and then apologized. I am sorry but your employees shouldnt have to apologize for you. Fix your A/C or you might kill someone. I will not be returning here nor will I ever recommend this location. - Lo Bos
Disgusting food handling practices- I witnessed a cook handling my burger without gloves, only to pass it off using his bare hands to the person in the front who to keep up appearances, is of course wearing gloves. Truly gross and unacceptable in 2023.

Same as always familiar and famous Harveys menu, helpful and friendly staff on site, place is clean and well maintained, giving 4 stars for atmosphere is only because there are only 4 parking spaces, so if you happen to be in the area during the lunch time, better use other modes of transportation, car is not the best option at this location.
Stopped in here to grab a quick sandwich for my son. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Told the lady it was my first time there and she couldn t have cared less. The order was up quickly is the only good thing i can say about the service. $9 for a chicken sandwich seems a bit pricey.

Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE! Do not give your money to this location specifically. Not only is the food prepared poorly and highly unsanitarily, there is no effort to teach the employees the right way. I can see clearly the cook putting RAW burgers down and NOT washing their hands. At one point, I over-heard the cashier lady telling the cook to wash their hands after mopping or sweeping the floor. Your restaraunt will be responsible for a death sooner or later. Whoever the owner needs a reality check. Dont run a food business if you cannot even do the bare minimum. I will filing an official complaint to the higher ups. So help me God if I find out youre under-paying your staff.

Best Harveys ever! So close to my house. Staff is nice. The chicken nuggies are so yummy. And the slushies are the best slushies I have ever put in my mouth. I always just go over and pick up my food. Great service.

Someone working there doesnt know how to make a sandwich let alone a hamburger, i asked for extra lettuce and other toppings and i received one pickle no lettuce and a very hard hot pepper stem, thanks harveys! No phone number for compensation

Wow, I cant believe I hadnt been here sooner one of the best burgers Ive ever had. The barbecue sauce was so good, not a fan of barbecue otherwise but this one was awesome. The burgers were so good and totally customizable I really recommend the harv sauce. The staff was really kind and nice and the whole service was really quick. Had a coupon and ordered ahead of time, got a free burger, and because I used the free burger coupon they even sent me a free fries coupon. I really do recommend if you are burgers fan or if you really want to experience the taste of Canada the land of opportunities. I ordered a 1/4 pounder Bacon and Cheese Burger. The meat and bacon were burnt and tasted so bad. The fries were meh. Very disappointing. Staff were nice. That s the only redeeming factor.
Absolute worst Harveys in Canada. The employees are fine, but the management is terrible. I know for a fact that it is the bosses job to oversee things, but not only are they never there, the restaurant is very understaffed. The food is horrendous. Dry, old food, but I do not blame the staff. I saw one employee, a young girl talking on her phone with an earpiece and a customer had some small altercation with her. I will say that there is this lovely older lady. Shes very helpful and knowledgeable. Also a very hard working employee. I will continue to visit to see if there are any improvements.
Buffalo chicken sandwich is so good. Cant remember the last time I had a hamburger since I tried this sandwich.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, haven t had Harvey s in a while. I m so happy I did. Everything was awesome. Onion rings were crispy and hot, not soggy and soft. And my burger done my way hit the spot. Definitely will be returning soon as they reminded me that Harvey s makes your hamburger a beautiful thing!

Yesterday I visit here in evening for first time nd the food is too gud and moreover the manager is very helpful and nice.
By far the worst Harveys I ever been to. Poutine was half full. And just cold. Burger wasnt what you come to expect from Harveys. Place wasnt clean. Front door is right in front of the tills. And they yell at people to move.. its crazy.

9 o clock Sunday July 3. The lady who took my order was absolutely miserable and took out her frustrations by being really short with customers.
I ve been to this location on several occasions now. Each time that I have visited, I ve found the cashier to be rude, sarcastic and extremely abrupt. A little courtesy and good customer service skills go a long way in today s market. The eye rolls should really be avoided. Just go a little south on Avenue road. Better, tastier burger joint, albeit a tad more pricey.

The rolls that came with our chicken dinners had blue mould on them. When we went back to the restaurant and showed the staff, all they offered to give us were new rolls. When we said we didn t want new rolls they said that s all they can do for us..

This is probably one of the worst Harveys I have been to. They consistently get the order wrong. Unfortunately, they are the closest to where I live. Last time I ordered, they got the bun wrong (I ordered white and they gave me whole wheat) and today, I ordered the strawberry pie and they gave me the apple. The bigger issue is the manager/supervisor, who never takes responsibility for the mix-up. I was already home when we realized the mistake and had to drive back. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, she said something like why do you order from here if the order is always wrong? Seriously, telling a customer that instead of admitting the mistake and trying to do better.

Been to this Harveys several times in the past without problems. Typical Harveys fare most of the time but this time whoever Deep Fried their Pickles really needs to give these guys a QC. Suggestion for those coming here is to double check what you get before leaving.
Great tasting food and mostly quick service
Having recently moved to a very less meat diet, no labels please, I decided to try the veggie burger as my wife suggested it. She wasnt wrong. It was excellent. They also have a litelife burger that I can not provide an opinion. I would suggest the veggie for sure. One thing threw me through a loop. They handed me my cup to put my drink. In the last year, due to COVID I have not poured my drink in order to ensure cleanly. I didnt mind but it was odd under current posture.
2021 Feb. 23 - Very nice and clean location. Excellent Covid protocols in place, nice to see. I have ordered burgers from this location for many years and normally very delicious. I just want to let your cook know that around 4 pm both my burger and the fries were very very salty. I still ate the food but I wish now I hadnt as my mouth is in a salty brine meltdown right now. I wish I ate a few fries at your counter before taking the food home. The register person was pleasant enough btw. Thank you for working. .

I went here today for lunch. Ordered a crispy chicken wrap combo and another wrap on side. Before I order, there was an old couple. I could easily tell that they were very confused about what to order and they took some time. I doubt the lady who was doing cash was expecting all the customers to be a Harveys menu graduate. I felt bad but Im no one to speak for someone. Then it was me. She was so rude that it made me feel bad as if I did something wrong.i noted her name and it starts with S and it was between 12 and 12.30. why do you show so much attitude to people? If you are working just for money go find something else. What you should be doing in a restaurant is service. We pay for the food and you are not supposed to act like you own it. I really hope she is not the manager, if so it would really be a bad example to others who work there. I used to work in Harveys, different location for almost two years and I know what Im going to order. Even after being clear on my order she was not happy. So its not the customer its you. Very bad service at this location. Two star is just for wrapping it and not making it a mess. Thank you for touching inside the cup(pop) and the lid with the same gloves you used for handling cash. Not impressed with the communication or service. Ordered a double and did not get what I ordered. Asked for certain toppings and was still made incorrectly.
Very bad experience here tonight. Walked in 10 minutes before closing, was not greeted with a hello, but rather 2 very agitated employees obviously eager to get off work and with no interest in serving a paying customer. No hello, just eye rolls and sighs. I tell her my order, and when the cashier asks to clarify something instead of asking politely she yells WHICH ONE? But it gets worse. Both employees handled my food with bare hands, and while the cashier was waiting for food to be made she starts COUNTING MONEY and then went on to touch my food with the same hands!!! Absolutely disgusting and dangerous hygiene practices at this place. I opted not to say anything (almost did) because the cashier appeared to be in a horrible mood and I wasnt in the mood for a confrontation. Cashier then handed me my food, rolled her eyes and went back to counting money. No thank you, no nothing. Probably going to get food poisoning now.

It is very clean, I go late usually after 9p.m. It is quiet. I can eat in now. The bathroom is clean. They get my order right. The only thing is they dont have many of the side dishes of a Swiss Chalet, which they also serve. They do not have mashed potatoes, only french fries.
