This hidden gem in Toronto has mouth-watering African dishes like jollof rice, swallow and all kinds of Nigerian vegetable soups. My personal favorite is the fresh well spiced suya made the African way on grills. The best suya in Toronto can be found here at an affordable price. The ambience is very nice for dining out and the service is top-notch. One can also order online through ubereats. A must try at all cost. 😋
First time trying.. had jollof rice, plantains and meat stew. Pleasantly delicious and right amount of spicy. Will definitely return and hope to try their fufu next along with other stews.
I told my Nigerian boyfriend that I was craving okra soup. He said “ sure, I will take care of it” and took me there lol. I love it, and I ate with my hand. Yes, I’m African as well, just to used to eat with my hand. It was delicious.
I came in on good Friday to buy 3 plates of food worth 97 dollars. 2 plates were jollof and hake fish with plantain and the 3rd suya and jollof. I got home and realised that the fish in both plates were going bad. I'm glad I didn't end up with food poisoning and I will not be returning there to buy food.
They don't update their closing time. I was there today, and I meant the guy but told me they have closed after driving an hour because it was showing open online.
First time trying Nigerian food. Stews are tasty, but the beef tripe (I think that's what it is) in the stews was impossible to chew....it was very hard, definitely required more cooking time. Jolloaf rice was very delicious.

Not happy with my order. The vegetable soup had one bone and beef, I placed a call and didn t get any good response. Then the asun the quantity too small for the price.
Stop selling rotten food, the food used to taste good when I first tried it. To be honest try to use fresh meat because some people have allergies, rotten meat can get your business shut down.

As a chef, Im always looking for new culinary experiences. I came here to try some Nigerian food. I got the Efo Riro with fried fish and pounded yam. I cant lie I almost cried from how delicious it was. I thought my ancestors reaching out through Fufu. The service was incredible I will be back in probably very soon!

I ordered through Uber eats and before doing that i checked the Google reviews aswell, the Afang was the best, the eba was soft and beef was also well seasoned. I am hooked to this store as their food is 100% tasty and reliable.

I love this place, my first time ordering a pot of stew and she cooked it so good that I can t stop eating it with lots of meat in it and even gave me a $10 discount and packaged it well for me so I wouldn t spill it. Very kind woman. Thank you so much ma.
Jeezzz Hot pot is the best Nigerian restaurant so far when it comes to calabar dishes.The afang soup with the egusi na die.we have the beans and plantain very tasty even the Goat meat soft and tender along side with the sakii, bokoto etc.God bless you madam

If you are looking for where to eat the best soups with swallow, this is the spot hands down. Clean , nice and courteous owner, adequate portion. The Afang soup is to die for. Five star all the way.

I tried this place for the first time yesterday via Uber Eats and was not disappointed! I don t alway get to eat Fufu but I was thoroughly pleased with what I got, hot, tasty, quality food. Thanks for a great experience

Its my second time ordering from this place via ubereats and I had to come review it. Totally worth it. Very tasty food, Afang soup, Jollof rice, oghono soup, poundo infact every meal was so good. Great portions too. Oh did I mention, the pounded yam is very thick unlike those watered down ones. Quality Nigerian food
