This place is your typical Filipino restaurant clean, cozy, and with nice, friendly staff. We tried the lomi, and it was great! The taste was just right not too salty, with a good balance of flavors. They even served calamansi on the side, which was a nice touch. I just wish they had fried garlic flakes to add that extra kick of flavor, but overall, it was still really good. The pancit gisado was also super delicious full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything was fine, and I’d definitely recommend this place for authentic Filipino food!
This is the perfect spot for the winter. It serves nice warm and affordable soup dishes. I went with my family and bought the family bundle which includes lomi, goto, pares, pancit, (all batangas style), iced tea, and five servings of rice. We were all very happy with the food.
Always love the lomi here comparing to other resto thats making lomi! This lomi place is the most closest lomi that you can compare with authentic batangas lomi! They use the proper ingridient to make the lomi thick! Met the owner today and i appreciated how he was hands on and communicating with the customers!

The food is good. But, the order takes a very long time to serve . Just don't go there if you're very hungry cause it takes a long time. Staff are nice and friendly. They have extra parking space at the back.
Lemme give you a break down of each rating I gave. Food: We ordered the Goto Special and Lomi Batangas. They were good, a bit oily/fatty for my liking but maybe it’s a Batangas version. The bone meat from the goto was so soft you can scrape it from the bone easily, you don’t need to worry about biting it off. The serving sizes were bigger than we expected. The food we ordered has liver in it, which is explicitly mentioned in the menu. So, if you do not like liver, do let the staff know ahead! Service: Staff was great, warm and welcoming. Felt like I was at an eatery in the Philippines. Only soy sauce and fish sauce are on the tables, any other condiments like salt and pepper are near the cashier/front end which is kinda inconvenient but a nitpick of mine. More variety of drinks would be nice as they had 3 kinds of soda when we were there. The menu is very limited, I’m hoping for them to add more even just snacks and appetizers. Atmosphere: Clean, and vibrant. I love the mural. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. One of my nitpicks is the parking, since they moved locations the only parking (that we found at the time) was at the front of the establishment which is very tight and hard to get to. I’d suggest scouting parking first before heading there. Overall, good food, good atmosphere. I’m hoping for improvements to come in the future!
This is my first time trying lomi batangas and I really liked it! My friend went a few weeks ago and said it was so-so, she went back with me today and said it tasted much better. We also had the pancit guisado which was just okay, the liver was a bit malansa. For dessert, we had suman and the sauce it comes with was a bit too sweet for us. As for the service, the two kuya servers were nice and attended to everyone’s needs from bringing the food to clearing tables. The ate at the counter was snippy and seemed overwhelmed, but I understand because the restaurant was busy. My friend and I had to share a table with another group which we didn’t mind, but that could be a turn off for other people. We spent $50 for everything including 2 sodas. Overall, I would definitely go back for the lomi and maybe even give their bulalo a shot.
I was excited to try the Lomi, but was quickly disappointed once I received the order. I got my order without bola bola and rebusado. I think they ran out of it. The Goto was good. The soup was flavorful but the spare ribs was not as tender as I want it to be.
Hands down best Filipino food around, we ordered for our Christmas party and did not disappoint! Food was absolutely delicious and flavourful, not to mention they give Jollybee a run for their money with their fried chicken!!! Our complements to the chef and staff! Went here for dinner, ordered one of family meals and got disappointed from the main course, beverage and the layout of the place and sizes of tables. They have a pares and lomi with the consistency of sipon, also the pares has a peanut butter. I don t know if it was their own version or someone was just playing around in the kitchen didn t go well. The lomi is the same but I think the noodles were made in-house which is good but The goto consists of mostly innards with anatto coloured broth making it look exactly like ilocano sinanglao. The iced tea beverage is going to make you increase blood sugar as soon as you take a sip so beware. The pancit guisado could ve been the saviour but underseasoned. I believe we had the largest table but almost wasn t enough to hold the dishes we ordered. And so the overall layout of the seating area isn t very well thought of should ve been something else instead of just bringing tables and chairs and just shoving them all into the small space. Parking was okay for now since the neighbouring business in the same establishment is not operational at the moment. Edit In response to the owner s comment, I appreciate and hope that you d take some consideration into account since there are many reviews that aren t very well for your business, with that said, I am willing to give you another chance for a better experience.

Came for lunch today. Met the owner (Pastor) and his daughter. The place is very warm and inviting. The beautiful Christian music in the background. Suprisingly they re from Rosario Batangas where I came from! Lovely people, friendly and accommodating! Food was really good especially the lomi. Highly recommended to all my friends and family. My best friend and I dined yesterday and ordered the Bulalo (we would have wanted to order the 2-person servings but it was not available and we were enticed to get the 4-person servings and pack the left over). The food was great and the place gives you the Philippine vibe. The side of onion and red chili was a nice touch. I would come back to this place and try other dish.

We drove from Scarborough to try the Lomi batangas & pares. Food was 9/10 but the service was not that great. The cashiers was suplada, didn t even smile and say thank you.
The restaurant didnt meet my expectations. We ordered for their family combo which states that its good for 4-6 people but unfortunately, their servings are very small. Actually, it is just good for 2 people with a regular Canadian diet. Moreover, the price is not worth the serving-- very pricy.

Weve order chammy pancit and their special lomi Batangas and my wife likes the limit, we planned to share each other with what we ordered but she end up finishing the loni alone, but I liked the chammy although I dont know the real taste of it but two thumbs up for me for the chammy.... I am not a fan of Ramen or lomi but this is an exception. The noodles are home made and it taste so good. This is my new place for lomi:) can you make smaller portions for people who does not eat a lot?

The ambiance is great but wasn t expecting the famous Lomi, the noodles they re using is not good as I expected, too much of cornstarch in the soup, less ingredients. Beef pares is also too sticky and too much use of cornstarch. Not recommend. Food

FOOD- We ordered the BFF bundle, which includes goto, pares, lomi, and rice (x3). The portion size was fair. The pares tasted somewhat like papaitan to us. The lomi and goto were okay. Goto and pares only differed in texture. SERVICE- Theyre okay. Were just offended by one of the servers. I was asking for containers for the leftover food cause we werent able to finish everything, and theres a little bit of lomi left. Im trying to scoop everything but he commented, Thats okay, were in Canada. Well, Im a typical Filipino I dont want to waste food. Ofcourse its sayang.

The food s taste is authentically that of Batangas, and the portions are lavish and altogether satisfying. It s a must try.
Just walked out from this places. Standing in line for more than 20 min waiting to place and order just to get cut off by and ignorant customers that was standing behind me. The cashier was so busy does not even notice who are in line. Thier lucky I walk out instead of shaming them I front or over crowded places. They need to have some kind or order or call the fire department I believe their over capacity since the line up is outside their main entrance. Enjoy your meal ignorant person since I told you I was in line waiting to place my order.

Ordered lomi and a plate of pancit. Lomi came in 5 minutes, wasnt worth 17 dollars. The pancit took 40 minutes and tasted of burnt garlic. For the price of the pansit youd expect a larger portion but the container was half full. We opted to change it to take out because we had finished the lomi 35 minutes prior to being served the pancit.
Service is too slow and not organized. They prioritize those they know.
Batangueña approved! Ive been looking for Batangas lomi for a long time and it can only be found here in Bathurst and Wilson. The staffs are also very kind. We will come back here

Was in the area and decided to try it for the first time. Lami kaayo!!! Loved their noodles and found out that it was homemade . Saw another costumer order the bulalo, will definitely come back to try it next. And as we are leaving kuya gave as 2pc free buko pie . Everything we ate was delicious and staff are very friendly.

I recommend Kuya Don Lomi to everyone especially to all Filipinos in Toronto craving for Lomi or Goto. I only saw this in FB and got amazed with the reviews so I decided to stop by and try their Lomi and I was not disappointed. It tastes really good. I ended up taking out Guisado and Buko pie. The buko pie is something to try too the only concern is the parking.

They are the best. Its been a long time since I dined with Kuya Don. Couldnt give a review right away and after complaining it was already full of food and couldnt take pictures anymore. So lately I have been able to take pictures. You wont be hungry for that. For those looking for a real Loming Batangas diner in Toronto, this is it.
