On the bright side, the oxtail has great flavour. However, to pay 21.00 for a a meal that contained 5 pieces of oxtail, is unacceptable. As well, the gentleman seemed to not like serving his customers, a little thank you can go a long way. I will never understand how some restaurants give bad service towards paying customers,
My first visit here. I was reluctantly served by a clearly depressed woman while her companion complained to another patron about her miserable life. I ordered the curried goat and paid $16 only to discover, once I had driven away, that my small container was only half full. It had only 7 pieces of bone-in meat in it. I felt cheated. On the bright side, it was very tasty.
Stumbled upon this joint and we weren't disappointed, a small establishment with a few seating area. We ordered the Oxtail dinner and it was one of the best I've had in the city. The oxtail was flavourful and very tender, and the oxtail made it perfect. We will return.
Food is amazing! Staff is great!! Went there after i was sick and couldn't keep anything down. I got soup and i got a porridge as well. Growing up, i didn't like porridge and when i tell youu, i drank that porridge and it was only thing in about 2 weeks that i actually ate and it stayed down!!! Been going ever since!!! Affordable!
This is one of the best Jamaican take out restaurants out there. Food is flavorful, I especially like the stewed options, as they are tender and go well with the veggies. Reasonable prices, friendly service. Cannot expect much atmosphere from a small area, but it is a clean and thematic restaurant.
I got bbq chicken fried chicken with rice and peas today and the bbq chicken was over cooked. The bbq chicken was hard like rock. The fried chicken was alright. Here is what it looks like before entering the trash
Food tun up!! Yah man!! Curry goat cooked right nice and soft and juicy drop offa e bone and jerk chicken tender juicy flavourful just like back a yard!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with some friends, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They even gave us a complimentary bowl of soup to warm us up while we were sitting outside in the cold – talk about excellent customer service! The prices at this restaurant were also very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions we received. But the real star of the show was the food itself. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed the jerk chicken with the spicy patty. If you are in the area and looking for a quick bite, this is the place to go boys and gals. Here is a photo we took with the amazing staff. Thank you for this experience.

Very authentic and as close as I ve had to actual local homemade food on the island. Had the goat head soup, stewed chicken with rice and greens, and a patty. All fantastic, especially the goat soup which will make you stronger if you know what I m saying. Will definitely be trying the jerk next
The red snapper meal is finger licking good. The service is great. Vegetarian options: Fish and vegetables Parking: Because mandarin is there it sometime difficult to find parking. But just order your food in advance you can take a quick parking to pick up
This is a hidden gem in Toronto. Simply spectacular food and service. I m Jamaican and believe me, it tasted just like home. And that is saying a lot as a former chef. This is an absolute go-to spot of mine now and a must try for anyone who wants to experience authentic delicious Jamaican cuisine.
Yo when I say I was pleasantly surprised I was shocked at how good it was. Got the curry goat on white rice. The meat was falling off the bone and perfect flavour. The sauce had me eating bones was The rice was fluffy and cooked just right. Perfect lunch!!

Real Jamaican Food! Lovely owners, husband and wife are very down to earth and hospitable. The jerk chicken was like Yaad, smoky and nice. The smoke and wood has a natural sweetness like the chicken and pork in Jamaica. The curry goat was perfect, soft and flavorful. They also have true Jamaican classics, fry fish, ackee and saltfish and ground provisions. If you want a proper Jamaican experience just come here. Ill be back 100%.
The food is delicious, I usually get the oxtail or the jerk chicken and it s so good. Love the flavour of the rice and peas. Also such good service, they ve always been nice when I ve went and so welcoming. Def my go to for Jamaican food
I had the privilege of getting food there on their opening day and I most definitely will be going back as often as I can. The restaurant is clean and you get that feel of Jamaica as soon as you enter. The food is excellent and reminds me of eating from my grandmas pot back home.
