It was a pleasure to visit Naijaa Restaurant. The food was great ad their service was superb.
Your $31 would be better spent at McDonald's or any other restaurant. The customer service at this place is awful. I honestly don’t understand why the government hasn’t stepped in to address how unsanitary this location is, particularly the owner’s neglect. The public washroom is located disturbingly close to the private kitchen entrance, where they prepare and serve food. After dining here, I’m seriously considering going to the doctor for a checkup.
They service authentic Nigerian foods , be it soups , rice&beans, eba , pounded yam name it and they have it…. They have ogbono soup which is rather hard to come by in Toronto …. The best part is their portions and proteins… it almost got the local vibe and not some random dude setting up shop
My very first time in Nigeria restaurant and definitely good foods as I ordered Jolloe Rice and Plantain.. Next time I will try else food.
They keep messing up the order 4 times in a row 😭 they give you the option of 2 only to give you one. I had to throw it out 3 times now. That was their last chance. When I call they closed. Lost a customer for real. The food becoming as bad as the attitude 😝
I was craving abula and I was not disappointed at all. I didn't eat in, so I can't say much for service or atmosphere. Don't expect much though...Normal Naija way😆 but the food was wonderful. And that's my honest review
Great tasty Nigerian food. Descent sized serving and quick service too.
My first time after waiting months for trying Nigerian cuisine was fulfilled today! Had such a wonderful time trying this great food. Thanks to my friend Lilian for taking me we both enjoyed it very much! Was so different from what I’m use to, but it did not disappoint. The food was so healthy and hearty so it was so worth the wait. Love food that has culture and takes time to prepare, that’s how you know it’s real food! Must try!
Best Amala spot you need to try it
My favourite Nigerian Restaurant Price is reasonable and you receive a lot of food for your buck Good customer service been a customer since there arrow road location Food
*Update to this review* Ordered food from here tonight and I can say the food quality of this place has drastically changed! Taste is not where it should be at all. Although this place has good food, their customer service is terrible and the lenght of time one has to wait for food is even more alarming! They really need to fix up before their lack of non-chalant attitude affects their business!
Service was ok, environment clean, portioning is good, meat size is very reasonable. I specifically asked for spicy stew but to my greatest surprise I was served tomato concasse. Our naija stew or omi obe like the server mentioned is completely different from what I was served. I will surely be returning.
My fiancé and i used to go to this restaurant all the time before we moved we were in the area one day and decided to go , the lady taking our order was very rude, food didnt taste good at all - definatly will not be going back I would give 0 stars if i could
I think they should work on their staff they are very very rude I called to order something and the lady who picked the phone shouted at me and hang up the call poor customer service never will I call them again
A very good place to eat. Nice tasty meals, friendly and courteous staff. Affordable prices. I always go out of my way to eat at this restaurant. My favorite food here is Jollof rice - best in town. Food : 5/5
I enjoy the staff service and their cocky home-flavored banters. Parking: Parking is available Kid-friendliness: It is a family friendly environment
One star because I cant give a 0 star. I actually order from this business on Uber eats so Ill like to believe Im a customer. I call them to order a bigger portion than I normally would for a little get together. A lady picks up and Im asking for prices for the different options and sizes of the items I wanted, she yelled at me asking why Im asking that she doesnt keep the prices on the phone then hangs up. Bear in mind that they dont have a website where these prices are displayed. How else can I get the prices to place an order if I dont call? Nah, never again.
The food was filling but the lady at the front desk need to know how to render service with pleasant mood.
Updated review after 3 years to 5star, they improved their services drastically. Literally night and day, and the food already awesome now the service is getting there. Koodos to the owner Parking: 15+
Food is tasteless, stew was soured. Customer service is very poor.
Worst ever restaurant!!!
If you have never had egusi soup dont start here as its not it. Barely any egusi in it, chewy spinach, poured so much tomato stew on it to camouflage n even the tomato stew was awful, tasteless it was just awful I threw it in the garbage.
My friend and I visited this restaurant and it was lit! I loved that the Amala was prepared fresh and in record time, NO LUMPS, people!!!! The portions were amazing and the staff were so kind. They also enabled all our accomodation needs. 100/100 minus nothing.
If ur looking for correct Amala and goat meat with gbegori and ewedu, look no further!! Plus their jollif rice? Top
Their customers service is very bad First time going there to eat Nigerian food the lady was very disrespectful like she the one give me my money getting mad at me for no freaking reason and there food is very mid The should work on customer service nothing everyone knows Nigerian food name so the should be patient with people instead of getting mad lastly the take forever to give your order no offence
Overall service quality is horrible The lady is is very rude the need good customer service You will not get our money if you dont provide a great service. It s not personal, it s business. If you provide great service and a great product you get my money if not just sit home I which I can give 0 rating
Great, authentic taste.
Ive been waiting so long to eat here!. I finally got it and I must admit the food was bomb flavor was on point. My only complaint is that the food is waaay to expensive. 1 piece of meat with a small size of rice, 3 pepper snail for $20? I almost turned my container upside down praying that it wasnt as done as I saw it was. The price is a little high without a beverage. Then again Im a woman who loves her BELLY..and supports black businesses.and I will be BACK!
The food is good but the customer service needs a lot of work. I was In The store and I called about my order and there was a lot of laughing going on infront of me on the phone. No one was at the counter but I could see the conversation happening infront of my eyes. They placed me on hold to laugh without muting the phone and then hung up on me. This was my first time doing pick up, but I d probably never pick up again lol too much foolery. the culture is too impolite for me
If not the best Yoruba food in the city. Just like the nostalgic bukka joints from back home. Thank God for these people
I cant believe this establishment is in Canada. They are so rude and uncouth. Treat customers with so much disdain. I vowed never to enter that restaurant even if its the last and only place serving Naija cuisine....NEVER!!!!
Rude customer service. I am paying for my food and i deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I don t know why the management isn t seeing all this bad reviews and making changes. This restaurant used to be busy in the past but people are boycotting Cos it s so bad here.
Eh. Im generously giving it a 3 star, tbh. Ordered online so cant comment on service. Food was mediocre. Ive had way better elsewhere. The jollof was too soft/soggy and the Efo Riro was just ok. I dont even think they use locust beans but it could have still tasted way better even without it. Im also taking an extra star off because I paid $2 for stew with my jollof and there was none. Just assorted meat that was made in stew which was already included in my order. The ADDED stew I PAID for was missing or so miserly that it was essentially non existent.
Great place
The chicken dish I had was overcooked and I couldn t determine what piece of chicken it was
Poor customer service but great food... the employees have the tendencies of being rude on phone orders or when ordering in person. The food is quite affordable and very yummy! So if you don t mind a little bit of attitude to get a nice food, I ll recommend it.
Quite ok but little delay in attending to customers
Very good I like the food
Always fresh, and meals are adventurous...know what that tastes like? Yummy!! But wait time can also be hmmmm.... its worth it!
The food here is so good that even as a white man I enjoy it. I ordered Jolof rice and beef and immediately bought a plane ticket to Nigeria where I opened a school for the needy. The school had to close down, because I build it using jolof rice which turns out is only good to eat and not to build structures. I am back now and enjoy Naija Restaurant whenever I can, wait time is a little long; however, it gives me time to watch my shoes as they interact with the ground.
Useless people, slow service but good food.
Husband had a craving but was reluctant to order because apparently you have to really know how to make the dish properly. Tried the Amala and Ewedu and Gbegiri and he was impressed! Will order from here again in the near future.
awesome staff
My first time eating their meal was a total disappointment, served rice with swallow stew. Which I could give 0 rating.
Terrible customer service, always
Good
Came here today after a very long time. I was amazed by how much the quality of the food reduced overtime. They are famous for their poor customer services but then we wouldn t mind because the food used to be yummy but now I believe they lost it all.
Washroom needs a lot of attention
Looking forward to going back.
Pounded Yam Was Perfectly Smooth And Soft, Egusi Was Well Cooked. The Meat Was Seasoned Nicely, However Majority Of The Pieces Were Bone. Expected More When Paying For Both Goat And Beef With My Soup. Will Be Back Again For Sure, Just Hoping Its A Better Portion Of Meat With That Sweet Egusi Soup.
Tasty
Fast service
Great Food, Really Good. I always call in to order to avoid wait times.
Good food
This is a good place if you re in Toronto! The food really tastes like proper buka at home. They also have Uber eats so the second time around I just sat at home while it was delivered to me!
This place is terrible. I ordered something and I was given something different entirely, to think I had to drive All the way down to this place the customer service ain t nice AT ALL !!! I eventually couldn t eat it cos the swallow tasted somehow. Waste of time and money
Good food but very terrible customer service, lack of experience and so rude, got me thinking how were they hired in the first place?
Good
Costumer service could be friendlier but the food is really good.
Naijaa restaurant is not customers friendly, the owner is very rude to me because she wanted me to pay in cash not my card.
Great and affordable African delicacies
Terrible service. If you order for anything dont buy ayamase.. called to speak to the manager to lay a complaint and she dropped the phone on hearing my complaint. Never coming back here.
Its a restaurant that you can eat in or order out of African food like eba, amala, abula, etc. Its a place to visit
Ive been coming here for a while, aprox. 2-3 yrs. The food is really good. Well seasoned, and fresh, however, Ive found the portion size of meat has gotten smaller over the years. Theyve gotten better at answering the phone when calling to place an order. Customer service is a 8/10, considering they a very busy most of the time. Their attention to detail is pretty good. And the wait has improved for take out orders. Overall a pretty good restaurant, worth trying if its your first time.
The worse customer service Ive ever seen. Very rude set of people, horrible service.
Good food ,very slow service
The ayamase was not what I was expecting, I was craving for ayamase but was disappointed with what I paid $17 for. Throw the food in the garbage.
Was better thAn most
Too expensive food
Very poor Customer service they dont know how to treat customers properly hope they do something about it.
African kitchen with sumptuous African delicacies
not jollof. Its nigerian jollof.

Love the food! You often have to ring the bell at the frontdesk but the attendants are very helpful.
Very poor customer service,.
Bad customer services

Even though Im not African, I love the food here.
Getting better at attending to customers. Service level has increased
They are not organized, very poor in attending to the customer.
No customer service
Too expensive
Over priced and bad food.Never again Recommend for no one. The worst service I ever experienced
Please i beg you dont visit this naijaa restaurant as they call it, the staff working there are so rude. walks around, say hi to only those they know and just look down on the other customers if they dont recognize you. They even serve the people they know first even when u come before them. Customer service i dont think they know how important it can improve ur business. They are very comfortable where they are. They dont care about the new customers only those they know. The place is dirty and the staff have dirty attitude shame on you naijaa restaurant. I gave them three try but they failed to improve. I throw the food out because u cant eat such food with that type of manner they present to you. Please New customers run dont eat there. Go to a place where you are well received this place is bad.
I woke my spirits up! it was so spicy and good at the same time
You wait for your food like you re waiting for a visa
Better to order on UberEats than coming to the restaurant in person. $3.49 delivery fees is not worth the headache of waiting in the restaurant for an hour with poor attendance from their unfriendly staff
Great food but customer service is terrible! No patience when it comes to talking on the phone and theyll hang up on you for no good reason! #rude
Okay location, food was decent
Horrible customer service!!
Wait time is bad and they bad organization
Long wait time but delicious food. I recommend calling in your order.
Very tasty food, lots for the amount you pay for it. But the place needs some sprucing.
Let me start by saying that if you have any regard for your person, do not go here. They lack basic customer service and they are quite uncultured. I was there with my spouse and two kids, and we waited an hour without getting served. This was after we had waited our turn in line to place our orders, only to watch people who came after us get served. When I approached the waitress to politely inquire what was going on, she walked right past me without any acknowledgement. We had to leave because no one deserves to be treated so badly, for any reason at all.
Bad customer service
They no doubt have good food but the customer service will leave you bruised for life. They act like they are doing you a favour!
You wont regret it! They should just improve their customers services. Wait time could be long!
Amazing food and service.
Great food
Poor service
They never pick up and lacks good customer service
The food is good. And the were polite and helpful
Poor customer service
Poor customer service, bad attitude, late to open,..... just a few things, I can say about Naijaa Restaurant.
The poorest customer service I have seen thus far
Good service
Rudest people to ever! Almost make you want to throw the food back at them
Romantic restaurant
Very BAD costumer service. They need improve on your costumer service skills.
staff NEVER pics up calls. What a shame!
Good place to have a good swallow... but other dish like jollof rice its not good.... bad customer service..... the environment is a bit cozy so u can take a date there.. .
Im looking for a new Nigerian restaurant and they came up. I read all the negative reviews but I still decided to try. I give them a call, straight to voicemail with a full inbox. First sign of unprofessionalism. Call again, rings continuously with no answer. Definitely not wasting time heading over there, no matter how good the food may be! Customer service gets an F.
Good food need to work their services
Good naija food
Local Nigerian food
nice taste
Good Naija food
Wait time is crazy...customer service is really poor
Ok
Absolutely unacceptable! I ordered from SkipTheDishes and I received the wrong order! Do you know disappointing that is ? And they didn t even answer they re phone when I tried to call them to explain it s unacceptable. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN
Very tasty, meat not too hard, wait time was almost immediate, great serving for low price Will definitely be returning
This place is bad. I know they have lost a lot of customers
The food is great but bad customer services.
kool
I like the food but sometimes the meat is a bet to had.
The waiting time is too long
I really enjoy the food,I called to make order but the staff that pick up my call was not sounding pleasant, but trust me,I will visit again, since i dont have pot yet.
