If you want the true Northern Viet food like Banh Da Cua (orange noodle), Bun dau mam Tom special (best fermented dipping sauce), Young Goose vermicelli soup, and Crab broth hot pot(check photos), even their fried chicken fish sauce is really good with lemon leaves. Only place I found that makes it close to Vietnam. Service is great and waitress is very attentative.
I ordered today on Uber Eat (bún đậu mắm tôm đặt biệt and nộm ngó sen). The food was stale as you can see in the picture. I didn’t know it was so musty inside so I took a bite. My stomach is very upset. Other things they didn’t make sure that the food is clean 100%. Everything is stale as you can see the photos that I took is so disgusting. I don’t usually give a bad review but this is hit me a lots. This is not acceptable. I just want to share my experience today here. My stomach is paining like hell and I need to see a doctor after this. Never ever again!
Me and my friends had a great time together at Ngon. The food was beyond good, very authentic Northern cuisine. We ordered a couple of different items on menu and it is surprisingly tasty. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend!
in with two heads & four eyes. The lady who tried to greet me looked frightened! I asked if everything was ok. Another woman approached me, as it appeared English wasn’t the first lady’s language or anyone else after that. I asked to order a mango shake. They (the 2 ladies & a few others behind the counter) all glared at me. I asked if they know & make mango shake. The one lady finally said yes. I waited for almost a min with no other reaction, just glares. So I said forget it & the lady asked, you don’t want it? They couldn’t be serious. Warning…if you’re not of the culture serving the food at this establishment…PROCEED WITH CAUTION ⛔️
If you want good authentic Vietnamese food, then you must try Quán Ngon by Oanh’s Kitchen. The dishes here are special, some of which represents a city in Vietnam and you can’t just get anywhere at a typical pho resto. The dishes here are prepared with the utmost care. We had the bún riêu cua Hải Phòng, which is a crab soup. The broth is soooo flavourful and rich. The portion is good too. Another dish we had is the bún thịt nướng chả nem cua bể, vermicelli with grilled meat and crab rolls. Marinade is not too salty and just right making you want more 😍
The taste of food is correct with original VN food but too much MSG so I still feel sickness the day after, Hope they reduce MSG. The kitchen should be more separated to dine-in area, alot of food smell stick to our clothes. The order Menu need to change to more attractive 😁.
finally a restaurant has my hometown food 😭😭 I’m so happy I’ve been wanting to come visit but I was kinda busy so this time we ordered a lot! we love the foood!! the potions are so big and the price is reasonable 😍😍 I couldn’t finish everything tbh we tried nem chua ran, muc chien bo, cha ca la vong, bun cha, bun tom, banh da cua. the 3 mains were sooo delicious 🤤🤤🤤 I saw a review saying why the banh da cua doesnt have crab in it - no usually in Haiphong we dont put crab in banh da cua topping 😀 so I can confirm this is authentic 👌🏻👌🏻 the service was on point! the owner was very nice and friendly. I have a chance to know more about this family business, he said wanted to let everyone try our hometown flavours ❤️❤️ before leaving I also grab 2 cups of che buoi 🥰🥰 definitely come back and be come a regular 👍🏻👍🏻
To be honest, the taste of food is insipid but the staff is very nice 🥰 5 star just for service! never come again cauze none of food is good 😌😢

These people are desperate and dont understand English very well and get the orders mix up, Im not going back there ever, they charged me $17 plus dollars for beef fried rice and it was mixed with pork/lap chung so I couldnt eat it after all.
We went here to eat and had a stomachache and diarrhea right after because the food was so poor quality. Do not recommend!!!
The fish cake rice noodle is great
Grilled sausage intestines are very delicious. Clean, friendly and enthusiastic staff. Will definitely come back.
The restaurant has a good name but the food is bad
This is the first time I have experienced Quan Ngon. This is my favorite dish. The flavor is rich and attractive. I really like it. I will come back one day soon
Take out Nem Cua Be, its delicious but if you add more pepper it will be even more delicious. Two months ago, when I ate Nem Cua Be, it tasted more peppery than this time. I really liked it and came back this time, but it didnt taste like pepper. I was a bit disappointed.
I found the crab hotpot, chicken feet with Thai sauce and dried beef salad to be very delicious. Peach orange lemongrass tea also suits me! Only fried spring rolls I think are okay, because they are not very similar to those in Vietnam. I also played some childrens music, it was also pleasant to listen to!
Since the new management from April 1 2024. Food went down. Service is bad, not professional. Just not the same owner anymore.

As this was the first time, we were so confused by the service. We entered, said for 2, they stared at us from the counter, we waited, and we just randomly grabbed any chairs to sit. There were just us and another 2 customers at that time. The atmosphere was awkward since we received 0 communication from the waiter unless we payed him at the counter. I wrote the order items in codes that I forgot to put size, so he just assumed and brought a large . We ordered Bún u M m Tôm , duck and bamboo shoot soup and chè b i. Mung beans in chè b i could have been softer. The soup tastes good, and Bún u was very fresh. Ch c m and ch m c tasted delicious. Overall, it was worth trying the food, however manager should reflect on their customer service which would cause more disappointment.
You can refer to the beautiful toilet to put sauce and spoons~

$46 for 1 portion of vermicelli with tofu and shrimp paste and 1 cup of Thai sweet soup. Delicious food, especially delicious squid rolls. The food is also quality compared to the price. The restaurant is clean.

My sister and I came today and we ordered Bún Riêu cua Hà N i( Lots topping inside)and Bún u Combo M m Tôm (With Ch M c, Ch Côm , u H chiên, và d i) and d we tried Chè B i for dessert. Food here they cook very delicious and not much MSG and lots of toping inside and very reasonable price . I said that because I ate since afternoon now more than 5hrs we not thristy anything Number one Were recommend of.who love Vi t foods on Northside that you should try here

They offer a northern Vietnamese food here mostly. The taste is somewhat bland but that is how northern Vietnamese food is usually cooked. The restaurant wasnt busy at all, we were the only customers. I found the price to be just a little bit overpriced by a few dollars. A nice restaurant to check out one time.
Went all the way from downtown to North York twice and they closed on both day without any notice even though it said open on google.

Amazing Vietnamese food, feels like I m back in Vietnam! High quality and fresh ingredients. 10/10 new management and great service. A lot of options too, including drinks (which I love). The place seems very clean as well.

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant with rare menu items from H i Phòng. New management since April 1st! The owner is very friendly and kind.
The shop sells many Vietnamese specialties, delicious and nutritious, cheap, fresh ingredients, especially snail vermicelli, snails with salt sauce, affordable prices. Enthusiastic service staff, clean toilets. Parking: Many parking spots.
Grilled pork vermicelli is eaten normally, the fish sauce is quite light for my taste. Fried spring rolls, I dont think they are the fried spring rolls that Hanoi usually eats =)) but they are delicious to eat and roll up in your mouth.
Got my fav dishes lòng d i and bún cá today, just love it. Will be back to try more dishes from the menu. Dont forget the dessert . The Chè Thái (Thai sweet soup) and Chè B i are the top. Was told they have to bring the grapefruits skin from Vietnam to make the authentic Chè B i.
I tried bún riêu cua H i Phòng and chè b i today. I rate 9.75 out of 10 The flavour is from the northern Vietnam. Here they have gi m t i và t ch ng, which makes the food more delicious. I will come back for sure

Oc huong trung muoi (snails with salted egg) doesn t taste nothing like snails or either salted egg, everything i could taste is garlic garlic and GARLIC and it caused almost $40 for a LITTLE bowl. Bun met (Bun dau mam tom) doesn t look like what it is in Vietnam AT ALL. Honestly, Some fried Tofu, little vercimal, some boiled pork and some VERY thin slices of squid cake don t make it Bun met (Bun dau mam tom) at all. Banh da cua is the most disappointed expreience to us. It is so bland, lack of crab (visually and taste). Overall, not a place u guys would come for second time :)
The fish cake is thin and chewy, exactly like Hai Phong fish cake. The restaurant is still new so the menu hasnt been fully developed yet, so I understand that. Hopefully next time I will be able to order dishes from the pink menu.
A bowl of crab cakes full of toppings with authentic Hai Phong flavors. Shrimp vermicelli and fish vermicelli also look very delicious. The shop has just opened so there are still many mistakes in service. Will come back to support

Snails for $29.99 get this much, Not delicious, not worth the money, add $5 salted egg but nothing, fried yeast is crumbly, so disappointing

I give them 5 stars because the food is quite delicious, suitable for my taste, and the service is enthusiastic and attentive. In my opinion, its quite delicious and clean.
