Back in 2017, I had an interview for a dishwasher position at this establishment which I am more than qualified for and the chef that worked here named Masood was REALLY bad. He was NOT FIT for this job at all and has very bad behavior. Rallys should fire him and hire a chef that is more suitable to do this job. Been 7 years since I got interviewed but still leaving this review, not as a customer but could have been a former back-of-house employee. I eventually got a dishwasher job a few weeks later at another place and did some serving/food running jobs as well. Kind of glad I didnt get it here, especially with Masood being the chef. If Masood still works here, its a shame. HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED ASAP!!!!! Otherwise this establishment can be successful. Hire someone that is more of a fit to be a head chef.

Now closed the owner went all out. Putting renovations into the party area event area and now the doors are closed.

Ive never had food poisoning as badly as I had this morning after I ate here last night. I had fish and chicken tacos and some sweet potatoe fries. Thats it. IM NOW VIOLENTLY ILL. I started feeling sick not even an hour after I ate. Warning... when its a busy night the food preparation quality is likely poor. This is the worst!

Been playing darts at RALLYS for many years and always left with a smile.. New owners now so well see if it remains as good.. Im sure it will.. cheers

Disgusting place found fruit fly s in my wine twice in a row, Waitresses are young and slow minded have you waiting very long for a simple drink order. Very expensive $15 for premium shots and bar rail is $8 expect to pay top notch prices and not leave with your moneys worth. No reimburse at all for the inconvenience disgusting!

Edit: After the new ownership, food has been on and off and mostly off. Service is slow, incorrect, and food are mediocre at best. Drinks are often mixed up or completely forgotten, some food are either overcooked, or cold. Will visit at a much later time to check up on the quality again. As for now, would be a skip for me. Family friendly, a place where also carter to large groups. There is also room to plan events for group of 50+ people. Food are generously portioned and quality doesnt suffer. Service speed depend on how busy the place is. Always find myself back to the place for more food.

I love the ambiance very spacious and airy. Their appetizers was very tasty. The best onion ring ever. Cocktails was refreshing and made to my taste. Grate place to enjoy your game with friends

Havent been here in a whole and now I remember why. The food was so overpriced for the amount received and it wasnt even that good! The wings were mediocre at best. The cauliflower wings - dont get it, they drowned it in sauce. Calamari was limp and bland. Very disappointing as I wanted to find a local place where we could come regularly to support but this was NOT it. Service was OK as it wasnt busy at all.

Awesome sports bar with a ton of space for big groups and a many tv screens! Wish they had a pool table but the darts are great too!

Went there on the weekend to watch the game. The drinks took forever to come. The food was really bad unfortunately. We spent around $400 for 4 ppl. the poutine I ordered had no cheese curds and no gravy! The fries were soaked with a bit of shredded cheese. It did not taste good at all. Good side: the drinks were pretty delicious!

Came here for Mothers Day lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were attentive and efficient. But the food was the star- My mum devoured the jambalaya, which was cooked perfectly. The chicken burger was delicious. The person who ordered the chicken parm cleaned their plate and I had the Roast Beet Salad with chicken and the mushroom soup. The soup was the best mushroom soup I have ever had and the salad was perfectly dressed and yummy. Highly reccomend coming here for brunch/lunch. You wont be dissapointed.

Went to this place to watch UFC 300 with my boys. Customer service was outstanding! Management was amazing! Got seated very fast. Amazing seats all around with TVs all around, can sit anywhere and be able to see the tv. Food was really good, drinks were good as well. The only thing I would recommend is getting some of the tvs changed as some of tvs contrast were off, some of them were blue/ greens and grey. But all around, a great place!

Decided to support a local business for my birthday and watch the game. Place was about half filled spent 30 min waiting to even be acknowledged at the table we were sat at. Finally decided to leave informed the manager or owner who didn t seem to even care.

Decided to go to a local sports bar instead of a chain pub (BP) to have dinner and watch the Hockey. Fully understand it was busy and had no issues with a reasonable wait. Sign said seat yourself which I did. At that point a gentleman who I believe was the manager or owner, came over and advised most of the seats were reserved but was able to show our party to a table in the Bar area. We then waited for over half a hour watching many staff members actively going about their work but actively avoiding eye contact or even bothering to acknowledge our Table. At one point it appeared as if one staff member was about to come to our table when the manager assigned her to somewhere else. The final straw was when we tried to flag down the manager and he walked right past us. We did go and mention to the manager how we expected some wait but, to not have anyone acknowledge us after over half an hour was not great service. The manager showed no care to us leaving other than to say it s busy . When we did leave there was more empty tables than filled compared to when we arrived but, if you are expecting to be busy then you should be staffed for expectations.

We went with a group of friends for wings and beers and we legit sat for like 45 mins and no one even talked to us looked us we tried to order and nothing DONT COME HERE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

I recently visited Rallys with the hope of grabbing a quick bite and enjoying some delicious fast food fare. However, what I encountered was far from a satisfying dining experience. Rallys managed to disappoint on multiple fronts, leaving me with a bitter taste in my mouth long after I left. The first and most glaring issue was the complete absence of waiters. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by empty tables and a distinct lack of staff. It felt as though I had stumbled into a forgotten corner of the universe where customer service was but a distant memory. Not a single waiter was in sight to attend to the needs of the customers, leaving us to fend for ourselves in this desolate dining wasteland. As if the lack of service wasnt bad enough, the real nightmare began when I realized that an hour had passed, and I was still waiting for my food. Yes, you read that correctly an entire hour spent twiddling my thumbs and staring longingly at the empty plates in front of me. It was utterly unacceptable. I couldnt fathom how Rallys could fail so spectacularly at its most basic function: serving food in a timely manner. The hunger and frustration that ensued during that agonizing wait made me question why I had even bothered stepping foot in this establishment in the first place. In conclusion, my experience at Rallys was an unmitigated disaster. From the complete lack of waiters to the excruciatingly long wait for food, every aspect of my visit left much to be desired. Save yourself the headache and avoid Rallys at all costs unless you enjoy subjecting yourself to disappointment and hunger pangs.

Sigh... I used to like this place, but it has been many years, so not sure if anything has changed in terms of owership... The fish and chips were SOAKED with grease- inedible. The yam fries were also not cripsy and so oily. The coleslaw was good I guess. The server started by being really attentive, but then when a larger party came in, he disappeared. We were left sitting for over 1/2 hr with no service before having to go and ask for the cheque. He then commented on the tip... which I kind of understood because I made an error with the machine, but for real, who does that??? I could have dealt with the server issue if the food was good, but my gawd, it made my stomach ache.

They were one or two wait staff short, so service was...strained. The food was good, but the service was slow. Wasnt busy except for a hugh table of families. Probably around 20, which impacted the only waiter/bartender/busboys ability to wait on the other tables.

Great place for UFC events. I wish they had a few more food choices. If you like BBQ and Smokey flavours, this is the place for you! Food : 4/5

The food gave me food poisoning, the service was horrible very disrespectful and impolite after I refused to tip bc of the horrible service I was insulted and they throw the receipt in my face. they also said that the seats were reserved but no one came at all horrible service horrible food over priced

We celebrated Christmas with our friends and had a great meal and the waitress was so engaging.

The best for large groups and sports team gatherings. Know how to handle a large group for sure. Food is always good and lots of great beer selections.

Came with our hockey team for a team dinner. The back area was large and fit our whole team and parents with room to spare. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food came quickly and was great quality.

Nice pub atmosphere for relaxed drinking and dining.

Great place for drinks after work

This was a nice large place for a casual get together or a semi-formal event. Food wasnt bad and they were ablento serve all of us with drinks and food quickly. They have an interesting selection of beer on tap, including Erdinger Weissbier (a German wheat beer). Monday appetizers are half priced with drink order.

Great local place to watch a game and catch a bite. They not only have a good selection of menu options, they always have daily specials to choose from. Jambalaya, beet salad, fried chicken, wings, fish & chips are all tasty.

Went for the 1st time to Rallys Smokehouse on OConnor Drive and was looking forward to having smoked meat. There was a party reservation of 30 to 40 given only about 25 showed up. Gentleman showed up to the table (guess he was the owner) and started to give the person who booked a tongue lashing in front of everyone about having to bring in extra staff and why there was not 40 people. The restaurant was not at busy ( 8 other people a Saturday at 1:30 pm. This person was rude, impolite and uncalled for ( should of taken her aside and spoke to her). I ordered the brisket sandwich and fries, was lacking flavor and it was not hot. People where not overly impressed with the food. Atmosphere was tired, dated and was dingy. I do not recommend Bailys at all. It has the feeling of not having a thriving business. Waitress was friendly and accommodating. Sorry a big miss from me. to given for reservations

Worst restaurant experience of my life! Our server was cussing at us. Our server was an older gentleman who did not seem to have any time for our table. He was the only server in sight in the entire restaurant on a Monday night. I thought this was understandable since Monday nights aren t usually busy. My friends and I were celebrating a milestone event, but our entire night was ruined. He refused to take our drink order and was insisting the bartender would not be able to make an amaretto sour because it was not on the menu. He told us no over and over until we asked him to ask the bartender himself. Of course the bartender made it and our server all but flung our drinks at us. He had a large party he was waiting on and it was obvious he would have no time for our table (he ended up stating that to us clearly later in the night) We ordered two starters but only one came out. Because I knew he was busy with the large party, I walked up to him to ask if our second app was coming. His response was what do you want me to do ? I was shocked but I still wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, being an older person who was clearly busy. Well, our second app never came out, and here he comes with our entrees and the apps and the same time . Again, almost flinging the plates at us. We told him we couldn t eat that anymore since we wouldn t have the appetizer with the main. We asked for the app to be taken back and asked to see a manger because he was already raising his voice at us. He insisted that he would take the second appetiser off our bill and we told him that the bill was not our problem, but the service. That s when he used the F word and stormed away from our table. We found the manager eventually (since he didn t care to get the manger for us). Two people came to speak to us and they asked us multiple times if we were sure his service was horrible because he apparently had 40 years experience waiting tables (like what does that have to do with the fact that I m telling you your server just cussed at me?). They also kept referencing the fact that he had a large party to attend to, like our table was unimportant. We were clearly upset and asked for our check because we were not going to have dinner under such horrible circumstances. They insisted several times to comp the whole check but we were adamant about paying for the one appetizer we had and our drinks. We didn t want them to think we were trying to get free food. We paid the bill and left with our night absolutely ruined. First and last time I ll ever visit this restaurant.

Ive been here in the past and Ive found that the food was mostly pretty decent for a sports bar. However, last night(04/27/2023), was a disappointment. With the exception of the wings and beers, my partners Fish Tacos and our shareable Pulled Pork Nachos is not something I would recommend. Food

I ordered fries for $8 and it was the smallest bowl of fries I have ever seen. I think I counted 15 tiny fries. I asked the waiter why it was so small. He said it s actually 12 dollars with tax. That wasn t helpful. Portions are tiny.

Amazing place

Servers were polite enough, but for how empty the place was they were not very attentive, taking near 20 minutes to address the one other seated table waiting for their bill. The food is pretty overpriced for what you get, and quality is lacking. My dad got the Fish and Chips and I had the Chicken Tenders. The Fish was advertised as being Haddock, but tasted more like Tilapia, and was a very small portion for $22. The Chicken was buttermilk battered/breaded and fried, and came in 3 large chunks that basically required a fork and knife to eat. While its a generous portion that might arguably be worth the $21, the batter/breading barely adhered to the meat, falling off as I cut into the tenders. It was also VERY greasy, almost as if it went straight to the plate from the fryer with no time to rest. This is not the finger food you would expect, and was unsatisfying to eat with utensils due to its breading falling apart. I have trouble judging the flavour due to how little breading I was able to get in a mouthful, and how greasy it was. Both meals came with Fries, and while I found them perfectly fine, my dad specifically asked before ordering if the potatoes used were peeled before being cut, because he does not like potato skins. Say what you want about a 50 year old man being that picky, but its still not very satisfying to be told that they were peeled before cutting, only to get the food and find that they were in fact, not peeled. Dont just tell a customer what you think they want to hear, because when theyre disappointed in their order, being lied to just makes it worse. Finally, the bottle of vinegar that was at our table was full of drowned flies. Like an ungodly amount of them. It was promptly replaced, but something that bad should have been caught during routine cleaning. It wasnt just a few, the whole top layer of liquid was full of them. Oh, and the Guinness was served warm. All in all, we regret eating there.

This is a great place to come for wings.

There are things to recommend the place, for sure. Large and mostly empty parking lot, really nice patio to enjoy during the summer. The food selection is limited (the main handicap) and somewhat variable from day to day, but generally a bit over average. There is a spacious interior, but we never set inside. Be prepared to pay in cash, as the internet seems to be off often. I would recommend it if you wish for peace and quiet, especially in the warm months.

I have been going here for a while now and it has never disappointed me. Always solid food and fast, friendly service. Wings are big and meaty and taste good. And they have multiple tvs of you are into sports. I recommend going to one of their all you can eat buffet style super bowl parties. Great atmosphere. Edit: im pretty sure they changed owners and the quality of food kind sucks now. New owners or not, something happened after covid and its just not the same. Changed from 5 star to 3.

Ordered hot wings...got sweet bbqs wings definitely not hot n spicy. Was hot sauce out of stock? Ordered Poutine disj that arrived without real cheese curds! Thats just absurd! Fish Tacos served were very sub par. Bar food thats of a very low standard yet premium priced on the menu is a serious disappointment? No value for money....good table service just cant make up for it!.....definitely wont be back!

service VERY slow, management was rather unpleasant to our group, once we finally did get service it took ages for our orders to finally come, which was odd given that the restaurant was not very busy at all, the tvs had no audio, some had distorted visual or didnt work at all, which is kind of the point of going to a sports bar..... the food was just ok....All in all it wasnt a visit worth repeating. I give props with the response from owner asking where they could improve though.

Great venue for a major sporting event. Excellent service, the jerk wings are the best of the options, great price on the cesars. Great TVs, but the sound system could be better. Prices were fair.

I raised my kids in East York in the Golden Triangle. This place was owned previously by so many others that lacked what these ppl have done. AWESOME SERVICE and EXCEPTIONAL FOOD. oh my g we happened upon it driving through the old neighbourhood n took a chance. So glad we did. Enjoyed everything we ordered n took the rest home. I love when a menu doesn t have 1 million choices I know the food is going to be good and yes it proved itself. Our service was spectacular she rocked!

After our mothers celebration of life we needed a place to bring about 30 people back for lunch- this place not only was able to accommodate (had a large event room and plenty of parking), their food was delicious- thank you so much for your hospitality

Placed an uber order this evening. The restaurant did not pack the bag correctly and left out one of our entrees. When I called, they offered for me to come pick it up, which defeats the purpose of ordering delivery. I requested a refund and ordered a new meal from a much more reliable restaurant who checks their orders before sending them out to hungry customers.

I was looking forward to having the wings here, went in on a Friday night at 11pm with my girlfriend and the bar tender tells us the kitchen is closed at 1030...what kind of bar closes their kitchen at 1030 on a friday night? But theyre open until 1am. We definitely wont be coming back!

Their food quantity is very less as compared to other restaurants but prices are same so comparatively is little expensive. Only fish and chips were good, but only 1 piece for 21 bucks. OMG and never order their fish taccos its just little bit fish, sauce and tomatoes thats it, they didnt put any efforts into it. I hated that, mac and cheese, nachos and chicken tenders are okayish. Risk yourself. Vegetarian options: Not much vegetarian options available. Nachos and vegetarian burger thats it. Parking: Enough parking for about 10 cars easily, it has a big sitting space inside plus patio.

We thought we would try their take out, ordered full ribs, smoked chicken wings with buffalo sauce, panko fried cauliflower, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The only decent dish was the mac and cheese. Everything else was dried out and very salty. Th3e mashed potatoes had the texture of a sponge and you can pick up the whole glob with a fork like a sponge. The ribs were so dry they were hard to swallow, and the double portion was not large at all. The cauliflower was so heavily breaded that they were inedible. The coleslaw that came with the wings had no flavor at all. Everything was super salty, and the wings werent tossed in the sauce. Wont be eating there again.

Great goat vindaloo

You can t go wrong with their wings! I enjoyed 1lb of lemon pepper and 1lb of medium heat. Wash it down with a pint of Guinness! Plenty of TVs for sports and LIVE fights. Take care of your bartender and waitress. Pleasant and attentive servers!

was actually there the same night Canadian stig is referring too. My table was right next to theres and I just want to be clear. The STAFF WERE AMAZING THAT NIGHT. That short women was actually doing amazing. That table thats complaining only came for the free fight and only drank water and shared a side of fries and on top of that they were in the way the whole night so for the waitresss to constantly ask u to put your chair in. ALSO THERE WAS NO UFC CHARGE AT ANY OF THE TABLES! I work in the food industry and was there with my gf for hrs. The staff there are hardworking. Its a shame to see that people go out of their way to complain just because they wanted to to complain or try to get free food. Next time stay home

No service. We went and waited for 10 minutes by the sign. No one came out to check on us. I peeked and only see people working behind the bar but no waitress. Had to leave . So unfortunate, because I was kinda looking forward to their wings and onion rings.

This was my first time here, I heard great things so I decided to go. Went here last night. Got suicide wings they were very spicy (I know they re supposed to) but the flavour wasn t great and I couldn t eat them they were cold same with the poutine probably worst poutine I ve ever had it was cold and it looked like there was barely any cheese in it. More like the poutine and gravy was mixed into the fries, not like a poutine you would get with curds resting on top of the fries then smothered with gravy. This poutine was dry, I had to send my drink back 3 times , then I ordered another pound of wings because I couldn t eat the first ones.Those were better however I still was changed for 1st pound even though I ate 1 wing and the poutine I ate two bites and was charged as well so I paid $50 for basically 1 lb that I ate and drink. I give this place a 3 star because it was very clean and nice atmosphere, and server was a nice lady but the food was not good.

Great food and great service. Lots of TV to watch the game. I had the brisket sandwich (very tender and flavourful). My girlfriend had the ribs and she thought they were delicious and great value for money. Well definitely be back when were in town again.

This is a great place to hangout and enjoy some good food , It is priced reasonably, without compromising on the quality. The service has always been amazing. Its a great place to take your kids and They always have the sports games on too.

Only down thing but it was badluck the screen infront of me the quality color was very wierd it was mostly blue when all screens around me had an amazing color but thats just 1 small thing out of a very good meal and service

Food was good, entertainment was great.

Went out for quick beer after soccer training. Nice environment, ordered good chicken wings and especially with the waitress being very nice and attentive. Recommend.

Had the Lobster shrimp bisque and Rally Burger , Corona deal hard to beat

The mac and cheese is a great lunch option. I find it the best in the city.
