You will get Best Baghalipolo with lamb neck that even not find in Iran. the food pertion would be enough for two hungery man. unfortunately the parking spots pretty limited in day. you can park in Ronas at nights. I hope they can keep this inparallel quality in new branches. thank you guys for such this quality.

Beyond compare

I invited the companys personnel to the Shamshiri restaurant (Thornhill branch) for a Christmas party. I visited the restaurant a few days ago and asked if it was possible to make a reservation. They said that they dont have a reservation system and only inform two hours before the visit so that it can be done if there is a need for preparation. Today (Thursday) I called two hours before leaving and informed that there are 6 of us and we will come at 5-5/15. They assuredly said that it is not a problem and stressed on being quiet at the above hour. When we arrived at the restaurant, the branch manager said at the beginning of our arrival that we can only stay until 7:30 because they have a reservation! This was while they had already emphasized that the restaurant system does not have a reservation system!!! They directed us to a crowded section and did not allow us to sit in a quieter section. After finishing the meal, when ordering dessert and tea, they said you have to leave here at 7 oclock, I said my question is, do you have dessert or not? They answered that we dont have dessert and you have to leave at 7! At the same time, they swept the side tables that were empty while we were having dinner.!! I was really embarrassed in front of my staff. For this reason, I had to transfer the party to the neighboring restaurant in order to provide better and satisfactory conditions, and again I incurred additional costs. This experience was very unpleasant for me and I hope that customer respect becomes the first priority of the collection.

This was our first time in this restaurant, the food portion was big but quality really poor. Only the chicken was fresh and yummy. In two of our salads there was 1 mosquito in each. It was not a nice environment, we only talked a lot to not hear the rude and without etiquette customers. Overall it was not a family friendly place. First we thought it will me good but we never going to come again. Kid-friendliness: Not at all, one of the waitresses was good. The customers sitting next to us were really rudely.

Food is decent but 30 mins for 1 basic meal is too long. Cashiers dont speak good English so if you dont speak Persian, it might be difficult for you to get what you want.

Was looking to try something new and found this place on UberEats. Next time I will just go to them directly so they don t lose any money, because the restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The lamb was tender and delicious and the portions are great for the price. Highly recommended, especially if you are not very familiar with Persian cuisine and you want to try it in an environment where you will get something great no matter what you choose.

We ordered take out so far. There are not much room available for dining in but still is enough for not in weekend. The food is in good quality and there are a nice and polite team of customer service who are taking order and dealing with customer. I feel a relaxing and happy vibe when taking my order. I hope the owner maintain this good feeling and services and disappointes customer when they feel they are stablished. Keep going to be nice Shamshiri and their nice team and food.

Too busy, made us wait one hour we missed our plan

I had Koobideh Kebab there twice. The first time, I thought maybe they didnt cook it well. But last nights Koobideh was very bad. I couldnt even tolerate the smell; it made my entire home smell horrible. I also had Fesenjoon and Kashke Bademjoon there, and those were tasty. But the Koobideh... just awful.

The food was amazing and the service

This restaurant was launched more recently but was able to take over all other existing ones by providing higher quality for almost the same price. I hope they can keep the prices as they are and don t increase. While I love their Baghale Polo and Lamb Neck and Chicken Leg , I think their Koobideh could be better. Love their salad (and the sauce) too. The staff are great as well.

Until last year, I used to recommend this restaurant to everyone, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has decreased recently, the olive oil and Shirazi salad we had was awful, it was battered and dry, and the chicken was not cooked.

First, they welcomed us with a fantastic salad and a complete dressing that wasnt like other restaurants where you have to beg for every dressing (and it was free). Then came an amazing, generously portioned meal. The koobideh tasted like heaven, and it was served so quickly and warm. Even though it was busy, the atmosphere was calm, and the servers were very polite and professional. I asked for lemon, and they brought two extra without any extra charge. Thank you to them. It was Shadmehr all the time I was there (I like him but it was too much and a bit depressing) Parking: It has a good number of parking spots. The food at this restaurant is really delicious. The only downside is the low quality of the rice, which is understandable given the restaurants very competitive prices. The kebab is incredibly tasty and tender. However, this place isn t great for gatherings or friendly get-togethers since the small space and high customer volume mean you can t use the table for more than half an hour to 45 minutes.

Whenever I visit North York, my go to dine-in place is Shamshiri. I love trying out their food. Simply delicious Persian cuisine.

I don t recommend this place. Food quality average and customer service very disappointed. They brought me the wrong order, after telling them they brought me the food in the picture as a food portion with almost raw tomato. I told the manager/owner (Navid) very politely to improve their service without any demands, but he was very rude and replied go eat at other places that gives you a good customer service, we can t!!!

Tried Lamb neck with baghali polo and kashke badamejan. So flavourful and exquisite.

Their food is amazing and always fresh. I called ahead of time to ask them if they could bring the pick up order outside as my son had fallen asleep in the car and I couldn t leave him, they kindly catered to my request. This gesture was so nice and really shows the character of the people working there.

I had an amazing experience at Shamshiri Restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, with portions that were more than generous. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Last week, I ordered the Family Package #4 and Koobideh. The Koobideh Kababs were excellent, but the Joojeh (Chicken Leg) Kababs and the Barg were not. The Joojeh (Chicken Leg) Kababs were small, weirdly-shaped and barely had any saffron on them. While, the Barg was extremely small!

I was very happy to find this restaurant and took all friends there, but last 2 times i got so disappointed! the food was COLD, the meat was overcooked and dry and some parts were burnt and no taste! it was my last time. I am vey sorry that they could not keep the quality as it used to be!

I have had Kabab torsh in most persian restaurants in the GTA, and this hands down was the best thus far. We also tried sultani (koobideh & barg), and it was equally tasty. Salad Shirazi was also awesome. Meals are served with complementary salad and coke. Relatively speedy service given the volume. Staff are friendly and professional. There is a wait time given popularity, which is not unexpected. We loved it and will certainly be back. :)

Absolutely fantastic food

I just arrived at the restaurant and, as usual, I went to choose a table because they always say there s no need for reservations here. The waitress, a woman with dyed blonde hair, rudely told us we d have to wait 40 minutes and that we should get up so they could clean the table. The rudeness of her behavior was so shocking that I felt compelled to write this. Please train your waitstaff in manners, as customer service is important. I have never experienced such behavior in this restaurant before.

Updating my review as of Oct 2024: The special baghali polo with lamb neck was phenomenal! The portion size and quality were excellent, all for a great price. Despite the Saturday afternoon crowd, the service was outstanding. Although there was a 45 min waitlist. My advice: only go for Kebabs! other stuff on the menu (starters, stews) has no resemblance to what they should be! Specifically Mirza ghasemi ( with no egg :/ ) and ghoore&eggplant stew (which was a tomato puree instead, no saffron and no cinnamon flavour at all :/ ). The packaging is nice, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Notably, any item on the menu costs about 3$ more than other Persian restaurant, probably because of the side salad and the drink that comes with every order.

Whatever more customers come to you, you work with the same quantity and quality. Today, I ordered Chelokobide. You reduced the size of the rice and the size and weight of the kebab was also reduced. I had one of the worst dining experiences at Shamshiri. I ordered the koobideh, and it was nothing like what I expected. The beef wasn t even made on a skewer, which was a major disappointment. The lack of flavor was shocking I kept adding sumac just to give it some taste, but it still felt like I was eating plastic. I couldn t believe how crowded the place was considering the poor quality of the food. So disappointed.

It was everything we were looking for in a Persian restaurant. So delicious.
