I ordered yesterday on uber eats the shawarma plate that is 32$ it was the sorst i had in my life oswmow s is a michelin restaurant compared to this. I felt robbed ! The portion is so weird. Wing incredibly hungry Order Accuracy: - Few of the requested toppings were included in the wrap - All three sauces I specifically ordered were missing - The lack of toppings and sauces made an already dry shawarma even more disappointing Whats particularly frustrating is that proper toppings and sauces could have potentially helped compensate for the dry meat, but their absence compounded the problems. A good shawarma should be served hot, with juicy meat and generous toppings. I cannot recommend this establishment based on this experience. Basic elements of food preparation and order accuracy need significant improvement.

We like their big portions, good shawarma, and convenient location. This is one of our go-to restaurants while were at Jane and Wilson. Also, those 2 male staff who have been working there since the past few years are really nice servers.

Terrible phone manners and can t communicate well in the English language. A simple question was asked due to food allergies and the person was rude that answered and hung up the phone when I politely said thank you and goodbye.

Wowwwe what a schwarma easily top 2 for me in all of the gta. Portion was huge food was fresh and juicy and all this at 2am at night since I do night work. The hall does not look very attractive, the tables and chairs are very old, the toilet is dirty. The only thing that looks good is the display window and the menu sign. You can choose the ingredients yourself. There is no shawarma in the pita bread, only on the plate and in the pita, pita is called a sandwich here. In Russia, shawarma is much tastier.

The girl working there looks at the type of a very egoistic person and speaks accordingly. If you look rich, she speaks in a very nice style. If you look poor, you will throw it in his face and leave.

Ive been going to this place for so long. I never got charge for a separate container. Cause I like to put my salad separate. They charge me for that and her attitude when I explained was miserabl I paid a lot of extras. For little food I dont recommend this place. The owner should do something for the workers there. Same problem as many clients had experience before. I ordered two shawarma plates with offer buy 1 get 1 free . First of all the price is not properly explain the offer. Regular price for 1 shawarma plate is 19.99. With this offer I did not get two plates for 19.99, I paid 32.99 which is significantly more the one plate. Moreover I added another plate for 19.99$ without the offer and how big I was surprised when I receive my order. The plate which has been ordered separately was long box with full rice and chicken and even salad was served in the separate box. But for these 2 boxes with silly offer I ve got 2 tiny small square boxes with 30% rice and chicken and 70% salad. Did I pay 32 bucks for pieces of plants??? The owner of this restaurant has to wake up and operate the business in the proper way.

Amazing shawarma and place is well clean

I m so glad I took the chance to check out this shawarma spot! I swear the portions look small but they are not I got home and wasn t even able to finish my mix and match. The only downside is parking and getting out during traffic hours!

I don t know how some people have given this place more than 1 star. This is the driest chicken I have ever had and if you are charging $16 for a plate, put more than 2 potatoes. This was my first and last time going to this place. The rice are super stale and taste a day or two old and salad is not fresh whatsoever.

Very very dishonest portions. Ordered 2 Shawarma fries/rice (promo) through Uber eats and the portions per container were essentially a handful of rice and chicken. Quite ridiculous when its priced at $24 per container (size small). The flavour was nothing to write home about and the food was quite cold. Looking at earlier reviews I am not the only one to experience this. Will not order again nor recommend them to others. There are better tasting and priced Shawarma options.

With the price they mentioned it was very obvious it was for a large portion or Atleast medium size as there was no size mentioned . This is a perfect late night spot to get some great tasting food. Staff are beyond friendly. Portions are the only hit or miss. Sometimes it would be a lot and sometimes the portions wouldn t be up to par. Price wise is also pretty high compared to other local shops so I only come here when it s convenient.

Does not deserve a single star. Ordered certain items through Uber Eats . Their restaurant showed an offer of Buy 1 Get 1 on some main course item. When the order came it was only one of that and the other one was not sent. Ordered couple of beverages and juices and that never was sent. Chicken was hard and stale. Rice was soaked oily. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I have come there twice and both times the chicken didnt taste good...it was rubbery, oily and had a strange taste (perhaps the seasoning I dont know). For the people who want to try this restaurant. I recommend you dont. They put a picture of a big plate and serve a small box. False advertising. I bought the buy 1 get 1 free offer from uber eats and was shocked at the size of the box. They put a single plate for ~$23, and you can get that size of food from any shawarma place for $10-$15, which has a lot better food quality. Clear that they only care about making money and do not care about customer satisfaction. They serve old food. Chicken was hard like it had been sitting for more than a day.

Food is very expensive. The chicken is very dry and tasteless. When this place first opened, it use to be great. Now its just not so good any more. I ordered Chicken Shish a few months ago and they burned the chicken pieces. It was bitter to the taste. I called and they pretended that they dont speak English. I decided to give them another chance yesterday, but the food has just lost its taste.

I am a regular and always loved their food but i was very disappointed with my order (medium shawarma plate) yesterday. In the box, they kept the rice/chicken in the smaller side and the salad was kept in the bigger side. For the same price that i always paid, i am now getting a small handful of rice/chicken and alot of unnecessary salad. For that quantity of food, they are extremely overpriced and definitely not what you see on their menu. Please don t fool your customers like that.

This place is insanely good, dont listen to the other reviews crying about Uber. You get what you pay for. Restaurants lose in the 2 for 1 deals. Are people not aware that Uber takes 30 percent of their order? Think logically people. For the cost of a 2 for 1 + Ubers cut, they have to rationalize the portions to not lose while doing it. Now with that being said, I never expect something grand when I order these Uber deals unless the price is obviously the original prices for two but labelled as buy one, get one free, but I ordered the 2 for 1 sandwich deal, and a chicken Shawarma plate and was beyond satisfied. They made my order within 10 minutes. The options for the salad are great, the sauce selection you cannot get any other shawarma place, the sandwich deal was well worth it and loaded. The over-saturation of shawarma places makes it difficult to find a place with balance, you cant get recommendations from anyone because everyone is bias as to what they like about their place of choice. Anyone that likes Osmows is automatically excluded. Its hard to find somewhere you want to continuously go to, you usually cant get everything in one place. If you get good salad, you get oddly seasoned meat/out of a hot container meat (not real shawarma)/, maybe some decent rice and no potatoes. Its always an imbalance between that bunch, and then some places skimp on hummus and/or garlic sauce and you have to strong arm them for a measly spoon (looking at you Pita Land). Alpha shawarma is great for Arab shawarma, this place is great for Turkish shawarma, and the wraps are like Shawarma Empires in Scarborough which is Palestinian (They usually win the number 1 shawarma title every year). Shawarma Istanbul goes toe to toe with them. One of the things I loved was that they did not cheap out on the salad. Theyre mindful enough to know people will have leftovers and they give the salad in a separate box so you dont have to reheat everything in one box and end up with soggy warm veggies (with rice and sauce attached to it, its off-putting to separate it yourself after that anyways). One of the main reasons I hate shawarma takeout. Amazing salad selection and fresh, Amazing sauce selection, Amazing prices, Meat is seasoned and cooked perfectly, Great portions, Great packaging, Great and considerably fast customer service. Stop complaining people, take it up with Uber, not the restaurant.

Shawarma Istanbul is go to place for casual Turkish doner! The quality of their beef doner is juicy and flavourful, and sliced thinly so it is more enjoyable and manageable to eat! I find a lot of Toronto shawarma places usually carry dry and tough beef, but you will not find that here! Its always hard for me to chose between garlic potatoes or lentils for my sides, their both delicious! It is a couple more dollars than a general shawarma place but trust me, its quality is worth it. Staff are always welcoming and kind as well!

We normally eat here everytime we are at the airport and usually have a great experience, tonight we order falafel, got on the 400 heading north home went to bite into the falafel and it was cold in the centre...almost still frozen! Potatoes were cold as well. Called to let them know and the girl on the phone asked me what do you want me to do about it, I put it in the oil? This is definitely not the response I thought I was going to get, not even an apology! It would have been nice to have been offered a new meal when we return. So disappointing.

My go to shawarma place, however today I was so disappointed. They use to give generous amount of serving before, last order was just about weeks ago and it serves the dollar I paid for. Today, the shawarma plate they sent us was about 1/3 cup of rice only which was not even half of the order we previously receive. Just when I ordered 5 servings of both shawarma plate and wrap. Very expensive for the price!

Food is OK but be careful when ordering online or through an app as prices vary for the same item in each different app. In Uber the BOGO deal had chicken shawarma sandwich at $16.25! On Skip same sandwich is $11.45. Truthfully for a sandwich normally bought for $8 or $9 at the counter then the fees on top not including tip. I feel like I am being scammed here & it is costing me way too much to much $$ continue ordering delivery.

I ordered the beef shawarma from uber eats. The beef was amazing, brought back the taste of authentic doner kebab, the bread unfortunately was cold but I thought its delivery and I should not expect it hot. Went there in person to try it fresh, and unfortunately the bread was cold again, and the meat was not very warm either. I might order again through uber eats but it definitely was not worth the drive. Despite 4 workers working the food was not hot.

The place smelled like a public bathroom, the people were nice but the rice tasted really weird, like they didnt wash it, I ate a tiny bit and threw the whole thing out. Spent 40 for 2 people, never ever again

There s nothing special about this restaurant. It s a busy place though. There s always a customer waiting for their order. The service is fast. There s no dull moments for the staff. Nothing much to say.

First off the only reason Im putting any stars is because I dont have an option to put zero this is the worst experience of chicken shawarma Ive had in my life and I have had it around the world, ended up getting that 2 for 1 combo everyone is complaining about. first the order was completely wrong undercooked chicken, stale sauce salad was dry, tomatoes were white, and rice tasted like sweat. Then when i called the store 2 times there was no answer and on the 3rd got hung up on. Horrible service and horrible food presentation never again. Shouldve stuck with McDonalds atleast they answer the phone.

$19 for a shawarma plate and couple of salads what a joke the drinks are not even included with it employees are nice will be my first and last time going there 3 stars are for employees

Great food and portion sizes almost a pound and a half and for the money it s worth it. People working behind the counter are very nice. Highly recommend . Came back again and we had six dinner plates and wow such great food. All over two pounds of food. All six of us enjoyed our meals with extra for lunch for some. Staff is so friendly. Will continue to get all our shawarma from here.

The chicken was fishy horrible and cold rice was moderate feel dry and the salad it s not salad

Fantastic food. Portions are great for price. Fills you up and sometimes you have some leftovers. Food is always delicious whether I get the sandwich or the plate.

Tasty, great portion food. My Mom delivers for UberEats and she sees how clean this place is when it comes to food, so I ordered. And I can definitely say this is one of the better shawarma places in the city. Their mixed shawarma plate came in 2 boxes: one for the warm meats & rice, then the salad is another. Definitely worth the $21 on uber. Thanks guys!!

The quality of the food was very good. Shawarma was tasty, however important UberEats order notes were missed. I asked for the included sauce to be on the side, not on the shawarma, and after delivery I saw that the restaurant wrote on the receipt that I should pay more to get sauce on the side. I wasnt asking for extra sauce. I was asking for the included sauce to not be on the shawarma. On the side doesnt mean extra. It means not on the shawarma. This request was because of a dietary restriction and my partner wasnt able to eat half of her shawarma plate because it was covered in the sauce. Also, considering the 50% off promotion, the amount of food definitely wasnt worth the original price of $50. Clearly the portions were reduced due to the Buy 1, Get 1 promo they were running, which is dishonest. The portions were significantly smaller than the photos on Uber and on the menu attached to the delivery bag.

AS OF LATELY THEY KEEP MESSING UP UBER ODERS UNTIL THEY FIX THIS AND SEND FRESH FOOD I WILL KEEP IT 1 STAR. WE ORDERED ENOUGH TIMES TO EARN RESPECT FOR OUR ORDERS TO BE ACCURATE
