The look of the store isn’t too impressive but my god, the food! Flavourful and menu changes so lots of variety and chance to taste. The soups and porridge are delicious, perfect for a hearty healthy lunch. As for the patties, exquisite! I’d even consider them premium AAAA patties. Drake is seriously missing out. Their veggie patties are delectable and all of their ingredients are CLEAN. If you have a sensitive gut like myself the food here is a haven. Also, grab a WOW juice if you’re thirst. Minimal and clean ingredients leaving a memorable taste and experience. Thank you souperlicious for becoming my new go to lunch stop. Sincerely, a very happy customer and tummy.
Worst restaurant in Toronto... I went there to get soup and there was literally no meat and barely any dimples or potato in the soup.. just a bunch of sauce.. I watch the person serving, contaminate the soup when she dropped her dirty glove inside the soup pot and then pick it up and continued serving the same soup like it was nothing. I had to throw the soup and guess what. Don't you tell them anything because their service is unfriendly and they are rude. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! DO NOT GO THERE.. OVERPRICE SOUP AND RUDE STAFF.
Very inconsistent flavour of soup. One day spicy next day not as spicy. Paid $10 for a soup and there is barely anything in it, a lot of water. Staff are extremely unfriendly.
First time i went and had horrible service i gave them the benefit of the doubt but second time and i experienced the same rude and disrespectful customer service from the older lady with the glasses. and ofcourse it's only 3:30pm, the store closes at 8:00pm and they are already sold out of multiple items. you would think the preparation would be much better for such a high traffic area around yorkdale. i will not be coming back after the service i received today, that lady has an attitude and needs to remember she is at her place of work. the funniest part about this is that she wasn't even the lady who served me. i was standing at check out waiting for my food and the lady with the glasses kept saying who's next who's next while im standing at the register not at the food station. so ofcourse i wouldn't say in next if i was already served waiting to pay. a gentlemen said she's next "me" she looked at me with a dirty look and said "i keep saying next and she don't answer" and walked away. extremely unprofessional establishment.
I order 2 soup online after 6.pm. I paid $18.05. Came in the store to pick up n found out it's $12. Before tax. I try to speak the lady behind the counter.. she was very rude.. talking about Uber need there cut. This is a pick up. There is no Uber. I left a very dissatisfied customer.
I bought the peanut porridge, gungo soup with beef, and red peas soup with oxtail. All was so good, tasty and fresh. The place is clean, and the lady serving was pleasant and friendly. Also, the beef patty was delicious. Really enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!
The quality of the soups have decreased drastically!! Very watered down and little to no meat in the oxtail red peas soup. I wanted to give you guys the benefit of the doubt but the last few times I ordered the soup was terrible no flavour .Do better people are spending their money !
They are not shy with their portions. Oxtail is amazing. Good selection of patties. Ackee patty was ok 👍🏼 Porridge is very good as well

Well, this place could take a lesson from the Dundas Street location in Mississauga serving their food hot instead of giving it to you lukewarm Luke When people want hot soup, please make sure you turn up the heat on the soup in the container so that you can serve it hot because all JA people love their soup pots
I usually buy the cornmeal porridge and mild patties the porridge is very good with coconut flavor they may use coconut milk and spices are rich and creamy texture The patties are good The shop it very clean and the atmosphere is great Price of the food is reasonable

Delicious soups. Ordered oxtail soup and corn soup.
I should ve followed my instincts. I ordered corneal porridge and the porridge looked so dark. But I went ahead and purchased it any way because I felt bad that the server had dished it out already. Got to my car, one taste and it was so salt and nasty! I just threw it out. Definitely won t be going to this location again.

Let me tell you all about this spot! Brand new but long in experience. The food 5 , the people, 5 , the place, 5 ......deliciousness served everyday! Forget my testimony, try them yourself!!! Vegetarian options: Veggie friends were impressed by the selection, as was I. Kid-friendliness: Kids loved going in, and friendly staff made all the difference.

I went to this place on my lunch break and honestly i have been to other location but this is honestly 100% better than any other souplicous location. Really clean. The staff is friendly and the food is always fresh. The porridges are amazing and they re pattys are just A1 this is spot is a must to try when in the area.

Customer service is great! The soups and porridges are always consistent with taste. I ve never bought food from any location, so today I bought rice and peas with Jerk chicken, I was honestly not impressed . There was no taste to the food. The rice was not Shelly it was to soft. I asked for oxtail gravy there was no taste at all. The Jerk chicken needs to be more authentic, it s seasoned which is good, but don t have that real jerk taste to it. I will still go there to buy my soups but I don t know if I ll try the food again. Good is to expensive to be disappointed and you have to throw it out. But if you love soup and porridge then you d in the right place and oh the Patties are also tasty . Just spice it up a lil and you all be better.

My daughter was bragging about your red peas soup. I drove from my home just to taste this soup. I was disappointed the soup watery taste lik pot soup Not Red peas some peas was in it. But the consistency of Red peas soup was wash away. Sorry I would have loved to agree with my daughter, but even she was disappointed. I did not go in side the Restaurant my daughter went just to buy it so I can taste it.

There presence in the Yorkdale area is a much needed addition, and a welcome to the other restaurants in the area. The portions that they serve is worth the price paid, and the Loyalty program keeps you coming back. The two for one deal in the evening is amazing because we can all appreciate the extra value for our dough in the evening. Customer service is on point; youre warmly greeted upon entering by the infectious smile of the ladies Sharma, Sharm and Carol. Though relatively new to the area, its great to see it buzzing with business. The music is another plus, giving you that island vibe. A variety of Food, and music is a great combination. The washroom is clean and comfy. Great atmosphere. Go experience it for yourself. Tell them Staples send you. Enjoy a patty, festival, fried dumpling, island cuisine, soups and porridge. Go. Go. Go. Went to a souperlicious and ordered a cow foot soup. It was very flavourful, a lot of meat and dumplings which I love and the customer service was top notch.
The need to take some cooking directions from the finch and Weston location. If I m paying that much for a soup it needs to taste good. Their red pea soup is not comparable sad to say but I still need to drive To the finch and weston location. Food

I ordered the goat head soup from uber eats. I have to say that is by far the BEST goat head soup I have ever tried. Ive ordered this soup from many places and had it home made and none of them compare to this soup I had from Souperlicious. Compliments to the chef for making this soup sooo good. Thankkk You!!!! I realize alot of businesses out here are just getting away with too much. Now souperlicious, Im an honest food reviewer. I sent my sister to buy a SMALL soup today and 1 pattie for me. Explain to me why when I looked at the receipt it said 12.00????! Wait, I found 3 TINY piece of goat meat floating in the water and one WHOLE HEAP OF tiny carrot and potatoe and one flimsy skinny dumpling and a cup full of water down soup... You charged me 8.00 for that???? Man I feel disrespected bad. This is unfortunate because I wont be back to this location for sure. Honestly the patty you charging 2.50 for is very similar to the frozen ones in no frills. Goodbye.

Zero stars for false advertisement. Mix & Match Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 6pm-8pm but you re closed at 7pm. Quick Solution: Fix your posters or stay opened until 8pm.

The Asian lady server at this location got an attitude with me because I asked her not to serve me a broken patty. She said it wasnt broken yet everyone standing there could see that it was completely broken in half and she tried to sneak it into my bag after ordering 2 patties. Then she slams my Ting drink on the counter out of anger. Humility goes a long way dear, especially when you are the minority occupying our space. The patties were good though despite the unfortunate encounter.
The staff is very friendly and eager to explain the options. The food was really good until a few weeks ago and the quality has dropped. There s isn t as much porridge options as I have found at other locations..

Love the convenience of not having to wait until lunchtime to buy my soup! I can pick up my porridge for breakfast AND also my soup for dinner at the same time!! One thing tho , Chef, an authentic Jamaican red peas soup does not have noodles, nor does it have a tinge of yellow colour. That is not red peas soup. It tasted good, but it was really a beef soup with peas. Jerk chicken patty was excellent, the crust is superb!!! I ll be back, and hope to find the authentic red peas soup . Pleassseee!!!
The soup was better than expected. Prices are reasonable. Decent to good soup is hard to come by at west Indian restaurants in my opinion. I ordered the pepper pot 7/10 rating and the goat 7/10 as well. Petite dumplings and not much meat but flavor was good. They had fried dumplings by no festival- that is disappointing.
