Visited this establishment for the second time with friends. They ate khachapuri, khinkali, chebureks, shawarma. The food is very tasty, large portions, served by the owners of the establishment, a very pleasant and hospitable family. The establishment offers a wide selection of Georgian cuisine. We will come back here many more times.

Amazing place for Georgian food, tasty hinkali and delicious cheeseboat, great service too

We ordered chebureki, khachapuri ajaruli and napoleon cake. The chebureki were swimming in oil pool and burnt. The khachapuri was burnt and dry. The cake was below average. I wont recommend this place because its the worst Georgian food that weve ever tasted. Following to the owners reply I just added proof of the items that Ive ordered from the Uber eats app. It seems that its easier to the owner to blame the customer instead of taking responsibility.

I used to work in georgian restaurant as a teenager and also visited Georgia a few times, i adore their cuisine. We ordered via uber eats khachapuri adjaruli, chebureki and napoleon cake. Khachapuri was burnt and very low quality, like a simple street food and not a restaurant, chibureki was soaked in oil, that i could barely eat it, it was also burnt, the cake was also on the bad side, and ive tried a lot of them. All in all a very disappointing experience, wont recommended, will never order again.

SunnyCheese exceeded our expectations with its incredible food and fresh ingredients. We tried the mixed kebab, which was a flavorful assortment of perfectly grilled meats, and the katchipouri, which was rich and savory. To top off the meal, the Napoleon dessert was a perfect blend of creamy and flaky textures. Every dish was delicious, and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out. We ve ordered twice via Uber eats. The food was good BUT every time the same item was missing. Both times we ordered cheburek. The description in UE says that 1 order includes 2 pieces. We asked for 2 orders.. 2*2 is supposed to be 4 pieces, right? but each time they only packed 2. First time I thought it was an accident, but same thing happen twice. Please check your menu items description, or talk with a person responsible for packaging orders, because something is definitely wrong

First experience with classic Georgian food and what a feast. Service was exceptional and the attention given to our unfamiliar group, helping us understand the menu, was helpful and allowed us to really have a great experience. Highly recommended for small groups, family and children friendly.

We took the subway Finch line North from our hotel looking for a very unique dining experience. We found it. Wonderful people there. The food was so delicious!! Made from scratch. I am from Detroit Michigan and there are a lot of restaurants around me that specialize in this cuisine, and SunnyCheese was far superior... Wow! The sunny cheese boat, Khachapuri spinach and cheese, and cheese are so good! I keep wanting to go back for more. I have not been impressed with the desserts, but it does not affect my rating at all. I have to be honest, the second time I should have gone with my gut because I am guessing that the honey and walnut boat is to die for, and I knew I didnt like the first couple desserts we tried. I have not liked any of their cakes but everything else is so so good. I cant wait to order again and add the honey and walnut boat to split for dessert.

Excited to find a nearby Georgian restaurant! If you havent tried Georgian food before, please try it. So delicious! We got borscht, khachapuri, and kebabs. Came in earlier today for a brunch with my girlfriend, place has a nice and clean interior, the couches were comfortable to sit at. I ordered khachapuri while she ordered khinkali along with lentil soups, food came relatively quickly, looked exquisite and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend coming here not once but multiple times! :) Came here recently again after 4 months and I have to say, the shawarma was very good, I loved it a lot! Probably the best in town :D Vegetarian options: there are several food offered here that are not meat based, or are alternatives of the same meal with no meat fillings, which are both equally delicious, with or without meat fillings Kid-friendliness: the staff are overall very friendly and outgoing, if you have an infant they can offer a high chair for the kid to sit with the adults

Stopped by for lunch after seeing the reviews. Really interesting, different and tasty food. It is all about Georgian cooking which you might not guess from the name. The food was great and staff very helpful and friendly. Well worth a stop to check it out for either eat in or take with you. Great value given the quality of the food.

Our family dined on a Sunday night and the service was outstanding. Its a relatively new restaurant and a family run business. My wife is from central Europe and she thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine. Our toddler gobbled up the Khachapuri! I would highly recommend Sunny Cheese. The warm atmosphere and delicious food are enough reason for a visit.

Today I discovered a delightful new place in Yonge and Lawrence neighborhood. What a gem ! Clean, beautifully decorated, some seats available outside , fresh, homemade, delicious Georgian cuisine! What a great experience! My son tried one of their specialties, cheese boat with an egg on top , a perfect breakfast for him, and I tried their spinach Burek. The best part was the friendly and welcoming attitude of the owner Eya ( hope I spelt that correctly) Cant wait to return for a shawarma experience.

Ordered through Uber Eats - everything was stale (we ordered around 7:30 pm). But whats worse is that every item in the delivery was incorrect and not what we ordered. Poor service. Really poor food.

We had lunch here by accident not knowing the restaurant we intended is closed on Tuesdays. We were the only diners (a slightly late lunch) but there were a number of takeout & delivery orders while we were there. My wife couldn t eat much due to an upcoming medical matter but had a very good chicken kebab ( gluten-free ) with rice. I had the beef soup which was excellent and hearty, should have been my whole lunch, but I also had a chicken salad with interesting flavours. The decor is basic and the name unusual, both greatly exceeded by the food & friendly atmosphere. Although visitors to Toronto we would certainly go back when opportunity arises. We dined several times at Sunnycheese. The meals are delicious. Lobio(red kidney beans) with ground walnuts, khinkali(dumplings with ground meat), khachapuri(cheese pie) , Eggplants with round walnuts . Everything was cooked very quickly. Very much thank you go to the owners Ia and Joseph. Way to go. Guys!

I was craving khinkali for so long and finally got it. Portion size is great, tastes amazing, a lot of meat inside. Owners are absolutely lovely and welcoming. Location is very accessible and I am happy to finally have one Georgian restaurant midtown. Will be back for honey cake for sure as it looked too good.

I have recently learned about this restaraunt through a local facebook group and wanted to try the food. Luckily they are listed on Doordash and other food delivery apps so I was able to order and try it at home. Food was freshly made and so delicious. Their honey cake tastes exactly how the Eastern European honey cake suppose to taste. Cant wait to dine in at Sunny Cheese soon and try other food options from their menu.

Looked for a restaurant on Yonge Street and found these guys today. Had the Shawarma platter - was incredibly tasty and very fresh. Owners are very friendly and appreciative of our appreciation for their dishes. Gonna go back to try Ostri next (sample the beef and I m salivating thinking about it!) Today, my husband and I finally had a chance to visit this restaurant. We were very pleased. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. The food is amazingly tasty, fresh, and very colorful. The prices were pleasantly surprising, lunch for 2 of us was only 80 dollars. Food is like art, its should be appreciated and understood. I recommend visiting this restaurant created by a family business. They know how to turn food into an art.

We stumbled upon this restaurant thinking it was a classic grilled cheese place. Instead, it was a Georgian restaurant. We had the cheese boat and it was incredibly delicious - it s freshly baked bread with a centre filled with a warm fresh cheese dip and egg. Perfect for the winter and my daughter loved it too. The owner took the time to explain how to eat it and him and his wife were very friendly. Everything is made from scratch. Highly recommend trying this hidden gem on Yonge Street.
