The Cheesecake Factory offers something for everyone featuring a wide variety of over 200 menu items prepared fresh to order each day, plus over 30 legendary varieties of the Finest Cheesecake.
I’ve been wanting to visit The Cheesecake Factory for ages, and I finally got the chance this past Sunday. The stunning decor and welcoming atmosphere made it an ideal first-time experience. One of the reasons I had been procrastinating about visiting was the fact that they don’t take reservations. I hate long wait times, and I was expecting a long wait since the restaurant was packed. However, we were seated very quickly within 20 minutes of our arrival, which was a pleasant surprise. From the moment we stepped inside, the staff’s warm hospitality made us feel right at home. They were attentive but not intrusive, which was a great touch. We started our meal with a house salad and some chicken taquitos. The salad was disappointing—the lettuce was wilting and the dressing seemed old. The taquitos, on the other hand, were delicious, and the rest of the meal was equally impressive. We ordered Steak Diane and Filet Mignon for our main courses, and they were both beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. For dessert, we chose The Very Cherry Ghiradelli Chocolate Cheesecake, which was rich and flavourful. For drinks, we had the Passion Fruit Margarita, The Well-Mannered Dirty Martini, the Passion Fruit Mojito, and 2 Cappuccinos with our dessert. They were all great, but not mind-blowing. The Passion Fruit Mojito was my favorite. The diverse menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, showcasing the chefs’ creativity and care. Overall, my visit was memorable. I had great company, excellent service, and tasty cuisine. I left satisfied and eager to return.
I love the fries so much, it’s fresh made and served hot. I thought it was a side dish but surprisingly good. Will recommend. On the contrast, the pasta and rice that we’ve ordered was super salty, especially the bistro shrimp pasta sauce was included cheese by default (even though it didn’t mentioned in the menu) which I’m allergic to milk product.
We visited The Cheesecake Factory and had an amazing experience. The menu is massive, which made choosing just one dish a bit of a challenge, but everything we tried was fantastic. The portions are huge, and the flavours are spot on. Service was friendly and attentive too, which made the whole experience even better.
This place offers a spacious seating with great service, though it can get very busy-be prepared for a wait, especially on weekends. They start you off with in-house baked bread with some butter, which is a nice touch. We tried a variety of dishes: the fried Calamari (crispy but a bit smelly), Fresh Basil Tomato and Cheese Pizza, Fettuccini Alfredo Pasta, Veggie Burger Melt, and Sweet potato fries. While everything tasted good, nothing stood out as exceptional. The highlight was definitely the fresh strawberry cheesecake - rich, delicious, and well worth the hype. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re nearby and want a filling meal with good service, but not necessarily a must-visit for the food alone.
My first time to dine in this location. There was a 1-hour wait to be seated but the time passed quickly when you are chatting with a friend. Jeff was our server and he was very pleasant, funny, efficient and gave stellar customer service. We had the Bistro Shrimp Pasta and Fish & Chips. It was sooooo good. Their servings were huge, so it is shareable. We took Jeff’s recommendation and ordered the Triple Berry Bliss cheesecake for our dessert. It was refreshing and fruity, such a good way to end dinner. Highly recommended and will definitely return!
Standard and popular American chain restaurant offering well proportionally sized meal sizes from a vast selection of menu items including signature cheesecake. The staff are genuine and helpful in making sure you get seated as promptly as possible. Kudos to Luigi for being MVP of servers this evening. Very approachable and proactive who knows how to make sure your dining is top experience. Only downfall to the restaurant is the lighting being too dimmed than usual. Other customers nearby are pulling out the phone flashlights to better read the menu. The wait time for meals were longer than usual as well.
I recently had a delightful dining experience at the Cheesecake Factory in Yorkdale Mall. The ambiance was truly inviting, and the food was of excellent quality. Our server was exceptional. He took the time to repeat our order and ensure everything was correct, and he went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions. As a vegetarian, I appreciated their attention to detail. One small suggestion would be to include a symbol on the menu to indicate vegan or vegetarian-friendly dishes. This would make it even easier for customers to identify suitable options. Overall, our experience at the Cheesecake Factory was top-notch.
Absolutely phenomenal experience at The Cheesecake Factory! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The extensive menu caters to every craving, and each dish we ordered was cooked to perfection. The standout, of course, was the cheesecake—rich, creamy, and utterly delicious. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring our dining experience was flawless. Whether for a casual lunch or a special dinner, The Cheesecake Factory never disappoints. Highly recommend! Five stars all the way!
Needs much improvement
SABRINA served us around 17:00:00 dec21, Outstanding service, attentiveness and all around vibe A++ Food : 5/5
Satisfaction
Good service and amazing food
This place really does live up to the hype if you don t get ahead of yourself. Cozy atmosphere delicious food and great service. Be prepared to get what you pay for and vice versa. Food
I really enjoy this restaurant. Food was great, and as the name suggest cheesecake was amazing. Enjoyed my time there.
Upside pineapple cheesecake
The most ridiculous restaurant I have ever been to, please dont go there until it is fixed. The manager was very rude when I complained about the rice and the quality of the food, he said we do the best we can and the quality of the cheesecake was very, very poor. And we couldnt even eat our food or the cheesecakes. Also the pizza we ordered was of zero quality.
Parking: Shopping mall parking lot Food
Had great service from Andre. Happy hour represents great value. Had a beer and the nachos. Very happy.
Went for a late lunch with a friend had some cocktails, shared some apps and had a cheesecake to top it off! The best part of the experience was definitely the service by Ana L. she was so caring and sweet!
Awesome
Restaurants setup like u.s. cheesecake factory. Food is good and portion is big. Cheesecake is always good for take away.
Excellent food, service, ambience! They didn t allow reservations, but it was ok, we walked the mall until our table was ready. The kids meal was nice also, not as pricey and ok portion. Must have: their cheesecake of course!!
Lived it
Yummy
I had only eaten at US locations of this restaurant so I was excited when a friend asked to go to the Toronto location for her birthday dinner. The staff were all competent and friendly but the food was a major miss - for me, anyway. My friend was happy with her fish tacos and they looked good. I ordered a thai chicken salad. What I got was a bed of lettuce with about six overcooked chicken nuggets on top. The dressing was tasty. If I wanted to be picky, I could argue there were a small handful of bean sprouts somewhere among the lettuce but that was the entire salad. I called the server over and asked that we review the menu description and compare it to my salad, which cost almost $30. Missing were: peanuts, cucumber, carrots, noodles. cilantro, sesame seeds, and a lime wedge. And the chicken strips were not strips - they were small chunks. While the server was very nice and apologetic, all she offered was to bring me a cup of noodles to mix in with the salad. Because it was my friends birthday and I didnt want to disrupt the meal, I just let it go. Had it been any other situation I would have sent it back to be remade properly - something I almost never do. I know CF wont miss me as they tend to be fairly busy, but I dont see myself going there again any time soon. At least Im glad the birthday girl was reasonably satisfied with her experience.
It was a good experience at the Cheesecake Factory. I had ordered four cheese pasta and it was ok. Beside the quantity, thought it could be more flavourful considering there s four cheese. Not much vegetarian options in the menu. Service was good, don t remember the name of our server but he was great at suggestions and recommending the right meal and drinks.
Service is incredibly slow Every time I went, the chicken breast was pink inside even after asking to re-cook Food
This place has multiple options for vegetarian food and I think so they are making vegan food as well. Whatever we have ordered was delicious and we loved the place Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Food was mediocre, was expecting something spicy and savory, ended up being lemony and cilantro flavoured. Thai lettuce wraps were alright. Service was great. Cheese cake was yummy.
This is my first time and it was my wife s birthday and want to make it special and this is the best location. The food was amazing and service was also very fast and definitely the ambiance of this restaurant is captivating.
Service and food were excellent.
Just love everything. We always go there for special occasions.
Service is too damn slow and the wait periods are insane. But overall good food
I stopped by The Cheesecake Factory for a quick lunch on a Monday. While I was seated quickly, it took a while for my order to be taken, and the food took even longer to arrive. The bread was hard and difficult to bite into. The lunch special recommended by the server was a letdown the chicken was overly thin, and the spaghetti was cold and flavorless. I couldn t even finish it. To make matters worse, the server was nowhere to be found when I finished my meal. I sat around waiting and eventually had to flag her down. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I wouldn t return.
First time, food was average and extremely overpriced. Service however in the lounge was excellent. The wait time for a table in the main restaurant was a min 1.5h. Took a slice of cheesecake home, it was decandant but at a price of $18 wouldnt choose again.
Although this restaurant chain s food deserves 3 Michelin stars (don t get me wrong, their Factory Combination absolutely makes sense on dish terms), this could only be be 100% enjoyable on holidays - their price are at least $10 or just barely $40, which makes it an enormous luxury. The staff is waaaay cheerier than Ned Flanders at his max, especially our server guy, Luigi; he s super sauceome. And their cheesecake are enjoyable on Western terms; Asians may need 2+ days just to eat a slice, as in my family s case. Just c mere, tho - this place is worth waiting for more than 1 hour on Xmas.
For a $30 plate of Fish & Chips, this was sad. Cheesecake Factory has to do better.
Excellent server. The food was fantastic.
Very good service, they are friendly, with a lot of charisma, special attention from SHARI G. She is very kind and very attentive. Thank you for your good service.
Portion is large, but the quality is low. Its very greasy and unhealthy.
Great place to dine in.
Customer service Excellent, delicious food and top quality to everything but toditito everything.
Took the 3 of us over 2 hours to have a supper there and we took dessert to go Server was never around. Asked another server for dessert menu and he said sure but never came back, we had to get it ourselves. Didn t have basic food options like their bread rolls ready, had to wait long time for that, and fried zucchini was out. Once food finally arrived it was good, but was spicy for my mom and waited too long for a glass of milk. To top it off, as we weren t happy with service, we weren t planning on tipping much, but when you pay with their machine, there s no custom amount. Minimum tip allowed is 18%, and server was leaning over us so felt pressure to just pay the 18% rather than ask to give less. Overall, not impressed with service at all. I think location specific though as I ve been to another Cheesecake Factory and it had great service.
Went today for a work luncheon and for the most part the experience was great. There was a bit of a mix-up with regards to my food however Ashley our server addressed it and was apologetic and did a great job to correct it immediately. Some others in our group had issue with their pasta but that was handled as well and their server provided excellent service. Several of us got burgers and they were great. Just great.
I ve always loved cheesecake factory, and today I decided to do take out. I was so disappointed to find out I didnt get what I ordered (I didnt check beforehand as I thought everything was fine). I hope they ll be more careful next time:(
Definitely a cool experience and you ll leave super full!! Shout out to Jerome for the best service and genuine recommendations:))
Omg the waiter Luigi was soooooo nice I love him! He was so cool and funny did his job so good we were a table of 9 people and he s was sooo good with us made our night 10x better ! 10/10
Luigi is just amazing. He is definitely the best server i ve ever had!!! My friends and I felt so welcomed and genuinely cared for as guests. Shout out to Luigi for making our experience sooo good. Will definitely be coming back and requesting him.
Luigi was so amazing to our table seriously. we were a table of 9 including 2 babies and he really tended to all of us in such a timely and personable manner, had such a great sense of humour with us and made our experience so memorable we are still talking about it. He got all of our dishes right, made sure we were satisfied, and even when he went on his break he made sure we were still taken care of. 10/10 service that made a 10/10 experience.
Best restaurant! Great menu, portions, price and atmosphere. Please open in Western Canada!
Honestly a great spot to visit during their happy hours on weekdays 4-6, super cheap apps.
Not really the restaurants fault, but its always a 90 minute wait to be seated.
Went to this restaurant this am for brunch. We were there at 10am with a 2 mth old. We were seating right away, but had to wait over 20 minutes for service. Waited another 1/2 hour for our food. Everyone s was stone cold. We sent it back for a hot breakfast. Waited another 1/2 hour, nothing. Our waiter walked by multiple times and never checked on us. Finally spoke to a manager, who said our order had only been put in 12 minutes prior. We had been there for an hour. Finally came. My daughter s syrup had a hard piece of plastic or metal in it, my poached eggs ordered hard were watery and runny and my son in-laws food was once again cold. We left after 1 1/2 hours never having eaten. I would think with the issues that they just had, that service and finding foreign objects in the food, that an effort would be made. Not the case. Do not go, terrible, terrible, terrible
Kids loved it. The dish I had was okay. Ill have to try something else next time
Love their food, deserve the long waiting time.
I ordered Futtuccine Alfredo pasta with chicken and after eating one third of my plate, I felt dizzy and I was about to faint. I was shocked because I never in my life felt that way. I am healthy and always eat healthy with no medical conditions. Next day warmed up the left over at home and I was shocked with the amount of oil in my food. I realized why I almost fainted the night before, and I could not see the oil there because it is too dark inside there that you even have a hard time reading the menu. I would never ever in my life walk into that place again because I value my health and life.
Cheesecake factory is always great place to eat. The food always delivers and service is great. Our last experience was troubling. We ordered fried Crab Rangoon. We asked the our waitress if it was real or imitation and was told it was imitation. With our due diligence confirmed with a second waiter. My daughter has a shellfish allergy and yes it is our risk. So a second ask thought it was safe because it is normal to have imitation crab on that dish. My daughter ate two and she complained about being itchy so I checked and it was real crab . So we monitored her and told waitress, she was very apologetic and told us mgr will come speak to us. He was very awkward about the situation and felt like he tried downplaying it. Than I gave my two cents cause he risked someone health. He than blamed the waitress by saying he told her it was real and somehow she gave us wrong answer. He than took our cheesecake off the bill. I dont care about the free which should have been whole bill . But to downplay and to make that mistake and not grt a heartfelt apology warrants me writing this review. Very disappointed on how they handled this situation and I wish I could take this further. Free cheesecake what a slap to the face.
Nice ambience
Thank you to Michael PW for the terrific service. There were eight of us and we had a nice corner booth. Everyone enjoyed the food. Our only disappointment was there was no zero alcohol beer choice for two people in our party.
i love the food
5 stars
Been here, worked here, this place has to be the cleanest restaurant ever ; The emphasis on hygiene is extreme. Love the food and variety alongside exceptional service. Gets busy sometimes but don t mind the wait.
Worst hosting and service ever! Don t suggest this place at all.
The worst cheesecakes ever. Mango cheesecake, Oreo cookie cheesecake and caramel with peanuts ? I ordered take out and the kids had a spoon each. It cost $58 for three slices. Criminal waste of money and time. Don t waste you money.
i ordered their cookie dough cheesecake for takeout. it is by far the best cheesecake i have ever eaten in my life. i recommend trying it
We had a wonderful brunch experience at The Cheesecake Factory, thanks in large part to our server, Alex L. From the moment we sat down, Alex was attentive and made sure to check with the kitchen about whether lunch items were available. While the kitchen couldnt accommodate our request due to the fresh preparation process, Alex handled the situation with great professionalism. He apologized for the inconvenience and was prompt in offering alternative options. Throughout the meal, he provided excellent service, quickly rectifying any minor issues with our orders. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail made the experience truly enjoyable. Were already looking forward to our next visit!
The Cheesecake Factory at Yorkdale Mall delivers an exceptional dining experience. The food is simply delicious, with a menu offering an impressive variety of flavorful dishes, from savory entrees to their signature cheesecakes. The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable meal. Despite being busy, the ambiance was inviting and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for casual dining or special occasions. Whether youre craving a hearty meal or a decadent dessert, this location exceeds expectations, making it a must-visit for food lovers in the area. Highly recommended!
I normally only come here with out of town guests as the price for food is a bit higher than other places, with just as good food. However, everytime I do eat here, I thoroughly enjoy the food and service! There are SO many options that it can be overwhelming sometimes. I do like the meals that come with a combination of things such as steak and pasta, or seafood! On this particular night, I tried the Chicken Parmesean Pizza Style that comes with a very large piece of chicken and angel hair pasta. Delicious and a healthy portion!! My partner enjoyed the Steak Diane, which was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and also a large portion. We took our desserts to go as we were absolutely stuffed! I always get the Dulce de Leche, as it is my favourite. Our server was definitely overwhelmed and even gave our table free drinks for making us wait so long, but it wasnt even that long and it was extremely busy. We are generally very sympathetic to servers and always tip well, especially when they are friendly and try hard! She was no exception and felt bad, that she felt bad but it slowed down as we were one of her last tables. Definitely recommend this restaurant but try booking reservations to not wait long and plan accordingly, as it is generally pretty busy every day.
Rude and rushed!
I had an amazing experience at The Cheesecake Factory, thanks to our server, Ricardo. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His recommendations were spot-on, and he was attentive without being overbearing. The service was fast and efficient, and Ricardo s friendly, positive attitude really enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend asking for him if you re visiting!
Food was amazing the brown bread with butter is always a must !!
Great spot for breakfast. Never left feeling buyers remorse or that stuffed feeling.
It was my first visit and I swear this wont be my last ! I have been to many restaurants and Servers are key to a restaurants success. Holly was our server and she was amazing. Not only was she amazing but I felt at home and that is key for many. Food was like a dream but you can actually taste it. Highly recommend.
Loved it! Lives upto the hype.
Cheesecakes are nice but portions too small and not working the price. Always too busy and specially to order take out prepare to wait 5 10 min. They need better management
Pasta was good, jambalaya was great. Wait staff is nice, reception staff is hard to work with. Cooks apparently cant make waffles. Go figure.
This is a nice place, especially if you re looking for a good atmosphere.
I came here expecting a real cheesecake factory, but upon arrival I was left disappointed and distraught by the sight of a simple restaurant. Why name it a factory if its just a restaurant? P.S Below I attached how I felt before and after Food
The highlight was our server, Anthony. We were told it would be a 1 hour wait by the hostess and we would get a text when our seats were available. We didn t want to be caught on the far side of the mall, so after an hour we checked back in with her and we were told maybe another half hour. In total, we waited 2.5 hours to be seated, which is fine, the only issue is we were told it would eve 1-1.5 hours less of a wait time, so we were starving. Upon sitting we continued to wait. The hanger was starting to set in. I flagged down our server Anthony and he was on it. Unfortunately they were out of bread but he continuously checked in on us and was an absolutely perfect server. The second fresh bread was available (about 30 mins after we sat) he came rushing with it. I m not kidding when I say he gave Michelin quality service. He really took care of all of our needs, our drinks were never empty and he was really the reason for the great review and experience. He really went the extra mile and deserves recognition for that. Food was also fantastic!
Great place to hang out and have some delicious cheese cake.
Great experience and great vibes!
Told us to wait 40 min waitited. The number was called and waited 20 more for the server to sit up. Utensil were dirty server was ok food was ok I had got crispy pineapple Chkn&Shm with mash nd could I say my dish was extremely too sweet . I couldnt finish my meal. Im not a big person on returning plates, but ill be not returning to try that dish. Cheesecake was Cheesecaking. Not until I left, I noticed the YELLOW CARD OF VIOLATIONS Parking: With dirty utensils, ask for a hot cup of water with a wedge of lemon and soak and wash yourself. Thank me later Wheelchair accessibility: Way too busy, wont be comfortable.
I just want to share a quick note regarding my experience that my friends and I had 2 weeks ago. We were there for a friend who was down on her luck that day. This day was a somber one for us but we met Kevin E who served us and turned our frowns in to complete laughter and smiles! We loved the food and the conversation we had with Kevin, he made our day.
We were first introduced to this chain in the U.S. We were excited when Yorkdale CCF first opened. It had that line in the middle of the mall that you had to wait in before you could get in and the pagers instead of using the cell phones to notify. For special occasions, wed come to Yorkdale Cheesecake Factory. We d celebrate a birthday, an anniversary or a competition/tournament, but sometimes it was just a date night. Were used to the wait to be seated & we dont mind. Usually a long wait, but it would be worth it. In the last few yrs, the service and/or food has not been what we have come to expect. But this last visit (Sun. Oct. 27/24 18:26-20:23 MOHAB L 0744 TABLE 56 SvrCk 11) has made me think that the most recent experiences were not anomalies, but actually the norm, and that we should not return to this location, except to buy cheesecake for takeout. We waited 30-40 mins to be seated (not a problem we expected that, 30 mins to get the text, and then we waited another 10 mins for the actual table). Our server was on break. We ordered appetizers & drinks from the backup server. From there it went downhill. It took a long time for the main order to be taken, for water to be refilled. (It was busy, but not so busy that he couldn t check on us). My husband finally got his salmon dish with the promise from our server that the other meals, mine and my kids, would follow shortly after. It took another 15 mins for the other meals to be served and when we ate them, they tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp. (Which was strange because the server(s) said that the plates were hot but somehow the food was not.). The buns were crusty and dry and the meat quickly cooled. My daughter had ordered the mini-sliders, so the top one (closest to the heat lamp) was a crunchy bun and the other ones were ok, because they were not close to the heat lamp but the meat was warm, not hot. Since mine was the impossible burger, I had no such luck, it was crunchy and lukewarm. After waiting over an hr to eat, I did not want to send it back to wait longer. House salad was gross. Wilted and too much dressing. We wouldve liked to have eaten our dessert with our meal, but the stay was already too long (too loud & cold). When we went to pay, the server apologized again for the wait. At that point, I explained why the food was not good. He did ask if the manager had come by because they were supposed to apologize. We said no, the manager had never come by. After the amount of time given and being told that the manager was supposed to come by, I wasnt going to spend more time chasing that person down to give them my feedback, I just wanted to leave. I am grateful that my husbands birthday meal (cajun salmon, caesar salad accomp) was fine. So were the appetizers (fried mac & cheese and the avocado eggrolls) But for everything else, it was not good. The wait and the quality was awful. Im now more interested in spending my money at other restaurants for the main meal and just ordering cheesecake to go. In reading others reviews, I wish I had seen the Oct. 2024 Yellow Card outside the restaurant. I tried to submit this information on the contact form that is available on the Cheesecake Factory website, the one that the owner suggests in many of the reviews to do so. But when I try to submit, it says 1 error has been found: State. I selected Canada, so the only available options are Provinces, for which Ontario is correct in this case. After a couple of times of trying to re-submit, I called the restaurant (on Oct. 31) to get an email address. The first person put me on hold (1 PM). A different person picked up and then disconnected me. When I called back (1:05 PM), they immediately hung up. I tried again, the third person (the one whose first language is not English) took the call and passed me to the manager. Pls keep people who want to work there & pls stop taking customers, if you don t have enough staff to serve them. Kid-friendliness: On many of our visits, we have seen young kids turn very cranky because of the wait. I do not recommend bringing young children there unless they are sleeping.
Katie is a great server and food was great
Main entries of pasta were not that great for the price listed however the appetizers we got were amazing. Also they ran out of brown bread when we arrived.
Horrific experience. Will NEVER go back here. Gave them a chance to make it right and they made it worse. Expensive, crappy service, and long wait times.
After tasting, we end up buying more
I visited the Cheesecake Factory recently and was served my Maria T. My Grandparents and I choose this restaurant because they ve been to ones in the USA and wanted to compare to see if it was the same. Right from we stepped in the atmosphere was amazing! The hostess at the front were super nice and accommodating. When we sat down our waitress Maria was very friendly and polite when recommending lunch specials. My Grandpa got the Chipotle Chicken Pasta, my Grandma got the Spaghetti & meatballs and I got the Louisiana chicken pasta. They were all really delicious. We then enjoyed our Godiva chocolate cheesecake. And I was surprised at the attention to detail Maria did. She took the time to write happy 33rd anniversary for my Grandparents as it was their anniversary on the 1st of December. I m glad we met Maria and will be coming back in the future. Thank you for making this day special for my family and I.
I really enjoyed going to the cheesecake factory. The food was good ,service was good. I was surprised at how crowded the restaurant was. From what I hear they are always that busy. My niece took me for my birthday and iam glad she chose the Cheesecake factory.
The only location in Canada and its worth a visit. The cheesecakes are simply the best
I had such a great experience at this restaurant. The vibes in the restaurant were so fun. Kevin E. made our visit soooo fun, he was so funny and engaging and very informative with helping us choose what was good on the menu.
Really nice restaurant! Food is delicious! Staff is very friendly and welcoming! For any special occasion this is a really nice place to go to and you will not be disappointed!
The food was delicious, our waitress Shari she helped us picked the best the best dishes! I ll never forget the wonderful service that she gave us and her kindness!
Im only going back to this place for Avocado tacos. They were absolutely delicious! Tried the mexican salad, it was pretty decent.
Wonderful food and service. Joel was amazing and was very attentive about allergies. If you want a nice sit down meal. This is a great restaurant to go to. Dietary restrictions: Can and will accommodate nut allergies.
Great food, slow service, a bit pricey.
The food was delicious, atmosphere great and Alex made our time at Cheesecake Factory excellent. He has amazing customer service skills. Can t wait to dine again here.
Food okay. Service good. Noisy as heck...Served soup...but could not provide a soup spoon...none available!!!
Wait time is killer even on a Thursday evening (2Hrs$ , can t imagine on the weekend. Food came out quick. Similar options available at pf Chang s in Buffalo and taste is much better.
The cheesecake was awesome !
A great place with a large menu that serves a variety of options for everyone. The desserts and the food is all great and the staff are kind and professional. The wait times to get a seat are usually long but that s expected when you want to have this experience.
The Best Cheesecakes ever!.. Their 30th Anniversary Cheesecake is my favourite. Atmosphere is greats as well..Havent tasted the food yet, but hope thats going to be great as well! Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
We loved the food , very yummy . I had the best egg Benedict of all my life! Just it was very busy where we were sitting but still we had our privacy. All kind of cheese cakes are highly recommended Food
So over priced . We love the deep fried avocado rolls . Go once a year or so ! Mid day for my daughter s grad this time . The server was awesome . She even did a special grad message on the dessert . Such a nice touch . Go mid day weekday if you don t want to wait :)
Good food and cake for sure, but bad service. The male server handed us the bill while we were still eating, as if he was trying to rush us out, even though the restaurant wasn t very busy. When I was still dealing with something on my phone, he passed me the POS machine. It was a rude experience.
We had Amanda as our server and she was amazing! I dont know if you can request servers, but if you can ask for Amanda! She was so nice and attentive!
I like the costumer service is a nice supervisor and food is super good
Food was damn delicious, portion size is very good, no wonder they charge $30+ for specialty dishes. Expensive but worth it.
Their cheescake is to die for!
Worst food ever. Be prepared to drink a gallon of water after you dine here. Way, way too much sodium. I had the classic burger for about 25.00, it came with fries or salad. I chose the salad which was basically just lettuce with no other salad items. I remember Chef Ramsey on television saying to stay away from restaurants with extensive menus. This was a classic case of quantity over quality. Beware ..
The moment we walked in at 7pm, we approached the front counter and asked for a table for two. The hostess asked us to please stand over there, saying it would take about five minutes. However, we ended up waiting 10 to 15 minutes, at which point it seemed we had been forgotten. We approached the front desk again, and they seated us after realizing that they had not only forgotten us but also two other couples who had arrived after us. Once seated, we waited another 10 to 15 minutes before receiving our bread, and then another 10 to 15 minutes before our order was finally taken. The food took roughly 30 minutes to arrive. At first, the server brought our main course, but then noticed we hadn t received our appetizers. She took the pasta back to the kitchen and brought out the appetizer. We finished it within 10 to 15 minutes, only to wait an additional 10 to 20 minutes for our main course, which we knew had already been prepared. When we asked the server about our main course, she responded with an attitude, saying, It s coming. About 5 to 10 minutes later, she brought the food, which had clearly been ready in the kitchen for some time. She then asked if I wanted Parmesan cheese on my pasta; I said yes, but after another 10 to 15 minutes of waiting, it seemed she had forgotten again. Eventually, she returned to ask how everything was, and I held back from saying all that was on my mind, simply replying, Okay. She finally brought the Parmesan when we asked for the bill. We didn t finish our food, as this experience left a bad taste in our mouths. We went to the front counter to check out and left a 0% tip. We left at 8:44pm as we wanted to enjoy what time was remaining to go to one or two shops before the mall closed. We didn t expect to spend almost 2 hours at the restaurant we were just gonna eat and go shop . We went here multiple times before and it never took more then an hour to order, eat and leave. We could have understood if it had been extremely busy, but other tables that arrived after us received their food, ate, and left before we did.
I had a wonderful dining experience at The Cheesecake Factory today, which was made even more special by our amazing waiter, Anthony. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal. His knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm made our visit memorable. I will definitely be back to The Cheesecake Factory in the future, and I hope to see Anthony back serving again. He has made a lasting impression on me, and I encourage others to visit and experience his fantastic service! Thank you, Anthony, for making my dining experience unforgettable!
11 reason why they should change the overall staff
We love this place. This is my childrens favorite restaurant in the city. It is their birthday celebration meal! The servers are always very friendly and the menu is huge. So much to choose from. Kid-friendliness: Yes
Yesterday I purchased 2 cheesecake slices. One Basque and a Classic. I asked to not put the strawberry with the basque slice but I was told that this is how it comes. I was watching her putting the strawberries over the slice. Food

Had a wonderful dining experience this evening, our waitress was Chrysa! She was very cheerful and attentive to our requests. The food was fabulous as usual, but Chrysas above and beyond approach to providing us with care and genuine courtesy is what stood out. Looking forward to returning!
Best place to enjoy delicious food with family & friends
Interesting cake maker.
This was my first visit to any Cheesecake Factory outlet, and I was pleasantly surprised. From the ambience to the service to the food, everything was a solid 10/10. Shira was amazing she recommended the Louisiana Chicken Pasta, and it did not disappoint. The portions are huge, making it well worth it. (Pro tip: request extra sauce it takes the dish to the next level. You re welcome!)
I recently had breakfast at the Cheesecake Factory at Yorkdale Mall, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. I ordered the waffles and eggs Benedict, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! The waffles were perfectly golden, fluffy, and paired with just the right amount of sweetness definitely a must-try. The eggs Benedict? Flawless. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, and the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, tying everything together beautifully. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and despite the busy morning rush, the staff was attentive and friendly. They made sure we felt welcomed and that everything was just right. If you re looking for a spot to kickstart your day with a satisfying and memorable breakfast, the Cheesecake Factory at Yorkdale is the place to go. I ll definitely be back for more!
Great experience at all times , amazing food, and great service.
A great place to brunch with friends! Located on the north side of the mall, having entrance just by the parking and having lots of natural light are just some of the many benefits. The chairs were comfortable, and the service and food were great as well.
For me, the Cheesecake Factory is for special occasions, celebrations... Im willing to pay for the experience, the fun food and the memories. Boy, was I disappointed. It started off okay, with my party getting a table right away (Tues 7:30pm) but as soon as we sat down we asked the lady who lead us to our table a question she rejected our question stating that she wasnt our waiter and wed have to wait for him (later, some from my party indicated that the same lady was cleaning the washroom, taking the garbage out...uncanny for a hostess to also be washroom cleaner, we thought). Our waiter greeted us while still processing a payment on a payment terminal from a different table, only half paying attention to us. My party spent a while on the menu, since it was all new, and when the orders were placed most left to wash their hands to only have the waiter return to say that the whole restaurant was out of steak (he said their supply might not have come in); we had to all scour the menu again to reorder. By the way, the places is too dim, one can barely read the menu (had to use phone flashlights). The bread and butter was enjoyable as we waited for our orders to arrive but upon asking for some more we were informed that there was no more dark bread available, just white bread (odd, but no biggie). Our main orders arrived with surprisingly small portion sizes... Maybe it looked that way because the plates are larger? Crusted salmon had a wee portion of mashed potatoes hissed under it and asparagus fanned around the plate as if to fill it; another dish had substituted fries instead of white rice and the fries cam as a side order leaving the dish startlingly half empty (see pics). There were other follies, like the table accumulating dirty dishes, us having to flag someone down for cups to be refilled, but the proverbial cherry on the (cheese) cake of the bad experience was the waiter hovering over me as I paid for the meal as if putting pressure for a good tip - and when it didnt meet his wish he just stared back at me in silence without thanking us for coming or wishing us a good evening. My recommendation is to only go there for the cheesecake dessert.
Nice Ambience and good food
Enjoyed our lunch at Cheesecake Factory! The food is very American, huge portions, lots of flavour but also a lot of sugar! The brown bread is so sweet, almost tastes like pilsbury crescents! Iesha was the most amazing server though!! Sweet, funny and good at her job! She refilled our waters constantly, and even boxes up our food for us! She totally made our lunch a 5 star experience even if the food wasn t superb on its own!
The food and service was good as always, but I had toothpicks in the meal I ordered. Although the waiter and manager provided excellent services, this dining experience still left me feeling careless and insecure, and probably wont be considered dine in the future unless the restaurant upgrades the quality of the food.
We had Ricky H as our server last night and he was awesome! We kept hoping he would come back to the table just so we could talk to him. He was cracking jokes and giving us honest opinions. They were out of the spinach and cheese dip and he recommended the macaroni balls instead and he was so right! Definitely a new favourite thanks to Ricky H. I would come back just to be served by him!
The food seems to have slipped a notch down. Used to love CCF, now, kind of...meh.
