I don't like leaving negative reviews for restaurants, but I felt compelled to do so for this one. On Saturday, February 10th, around noon, I visited this establishment to order food for a family member. As I approached the interior door, I heard a dog barking and so I hesitated to enter. I turned around and double-checked the information on the sign to confirm that I was at the right place. I then tried again to enter through the interior door, and this time I found a gentleman inside. I asked if they were open and he confirmed that they were. However, I was surprised to see a dog inside the restaurant, which the gentleman then directed to the back. This immediately put me off, and I walked away. I couldn't understand how it could be sanitary to have a pet in a restaurant where food is served. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and have advised my family members to avoid ordering from here in future.

This place is a hit or miss. The first time I came here, I ordered the special chicken with fried rice and pepper shrimp. Everything was tasty. The other couple times I came, the food was off in terms of taste and spice. Asked for extra spicy and not one piece of pepper in the food. Staff is friendly and service is quick. I do enjoy carribean cuisine quite a bit and I know businesses might have their off days. Photos posted are from the first time I came here.

Great food for fair prices
Food was very old. I bought my food on april 24th yesterday and it tasted very old and stale. The fried rice was salty as heck. I used to go here back in the day as I grew up around the neighbourhood. Their price increased and the value of their food have decreased. I ordered shrimp fried rice with chicken on top (2 orders) $15 each I paid $35 with taxes. The chicken was very small had no meat and it tasted old! The owner is ripping people off now and becoming stingy. They cut up one shrimp to make more pieces in the rice. So there were about like 6 pieces of shrimp cut into two to make more pieces. Will not be returning! And warning all my friends who are regulars here.

Food was mediocre, to say the least. Service was average. Though I have eaten here before and was satisfied, this is the second time in a row the food was disappointing. Both Items I purchased had no taste, lacked in seasoning big time. I understand the need to raise prices, but then please maintain the same level of quality.

Wide variety of Chinese dishes
I legit travel from downtown all the way over for my shrimp fried rice and pepper shrimp. 10/10

Comfortable place to eat and drink
It was like my third or fourth time and I kept going back because of the food, the service was not great but that fried rice was addictive. But today my waitress was amazing Ill definitely be going back and I can recommend going here. Best Chinese food in the area and with the new girl now I even have one more reason to come back. 5 stars.

We ordered some food for delivery for over 200 people from this restaurant. Ray who I spoke to was very helpful in determining how much food we would need. I was suggesting a lot of food but he was so very honest telling me I did not need that much. He was accurate with his estimation and they delivered the food on time for the reception. The food was excellent and many people commented on the quality and taste. There were no left overs as everyone enjoyed it so much. I would highly recommend this place for all your catering needs and if you want to experience some great Guyanese food. Anyone and everyone will enjoy it.
