Looks like it is still developing, I love the idea of freshly made food but man the wait time too long but still worth it. It is best to order 30-45 mins before you get there.
Where do i start?? The food was exquisite – every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I particularly loved the steam fish.... but the roast fish!!!! Yhst was the star of the show, which was a standout. I can't wait to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic Jamaican dining experience! This is my go-to place to bring any family/friends visiting from JA!
First time customer, soon turn patron. Did a order take-out today. Ordered a vegan dish. Everything was up top! From the rice and peas, to the gravey, to the veggies. Veggies was right! Not too soft, not to hard. Chef, big up yourself! The server is nice. Very soft spoken, but excellent.
Amazing food and service. We ordered jerk chicken and ultimate seafood platter (with garlic sauce & pasta) - both were very flavourful and satisfying. The lady at the bar was sooooo nice!!
One of the closest places you'll get to authentic yardie food. Solid menu albeit the seafood dishes stand out full of flavour . Nice atmosphere .no Uber though and can take some time so order in advance

Their oxtail with rice was absolutely phenomenal. This was easily the best meal I've had in months. The seasoning was on the point and the meat was so tender you'd never expect you were eating beef. Easy 9.5/10. Their coleslaw was surprisingly sweet though so beware if you don't like sweet coleslaw but that doesn't make it bad.
This place is the baddest (greatest) Jamaican food I’ve ever tasted in Canada. The escovitch fish and jerk chicken are my top two choices as they never disappoint. The jerk chicken falls off the bone and the rice and peas is so flavourful plus they give you pasta salad!. The size of the fish is usually quite large and crispy for the price your are paying. I’ve also tried the steam fish which was seasoned so well. Honestly anything you buy here will not disappoint you. Just be warned , order your food ahead of time as the wait time can be quite long. That’s how you know it’s authentic. Oh and the plantain. I don’t know what they do to it but it’s always so delicious and sweet! Big up to the chefs! Keep up the amazing tasting food!

Definitely my top 3 jerk chicken places of all time. You gotta come a bit early, theres a good wait but that means its made to order. Get it with the side of veggies. Great amount of food.
Best Caribbean food in the city hands down. Service and time takes forever. 30 min will be a hour so make sure you call a hour ahead
Seafood soup was good but DAMNNN I waited 20-25 for a soup and the place was empty. I came back again and ordered the soup before hand and that was a better experience but I still couldn t believe I waited 20 mins for soup.. heard they are really well known for their seafood and actually dishes so I will come back and maybe change my review but for the mean time y all will have to hug this generous 3 star and please start putting some dumplings/spinnas in your soup, the 4-5 jumbo shrimp (I salute yall cause those shrimp are big BUT) cho cho and likkle bit of carrot don t cut it for me.

Friendly staff. There is a little wait because some of the food is made to order bit thats a good thing it means you get fresh food. The chefs hands are blessed. The food was delicious, tasted like home. The only issue we had was the servers took way to long to cash us out considering the food was already prepared.
Best jerk chicken I ve ever had, and the oxtail was SO flavourful. Festival and soursop juice were also incredible! Honestly the tastiest meal I ve had in months.

The atmosphere is a little dated and not the most inviting. But the food. That oxtail hit wonderfully. It was a nice portion and the flavors! I swear it taste like fresh coconut milk in the rice and peas. I happily ate and enjoyed my oxtail as well as seafood pasta. The pasta was heavily creamed so not for the dieter but still very tasty. I missed a few touches of green and a salad with my meal but I probably missed the option while looking over the menu.

This place is amazing. Order from ahead of time if you can because everything (sea food) is made to order . The most delicious/fresh shrimp and rice. The service was so friendly ..Can t wait to go back.
My barber is just a few doors down, and knowing Im a big foodie, recommended I try out Topaz- so I did, right after my haircut. I got what he suggested- their jerk chicken pasta, plus, because I was feeling extra hungry, their oxtail. They were low on oxtail, so did half-oxtail, half-fried chicken, with rice and peas, and I was *not* disappointed by any of it. The jerk chicken pasta is criminally delicious- perfectly creamy, so well seasoned, with the ideal level of heat (spice). Ive already recommended several people to go here just for that. The oxtail was fantastic as well, but, man, their fried chicken is low-key the superstar of this joint... that stuff was mad juicy and tender, so well seasoned, and with a perfect crunch to the skin. The side coleslaw and macaroni salads are the perfect accompaniment. I also tried their shrimp alfredo on another visit, and liked it a lot- very well seasoned, as everything here seems to be-, but honestly, the jerk chicken pasta was a lot more to my liking. The lady working the bar/cash I dealt with both times was super friendly and accommodating. I wasnt sure I was at the right spot the first time, it can be a bit confusing walking in, and its a GIANT spot inside which might seem intimidating, but I dig the vibe overall- super chill and authentic. Cant wait to visit again.

8 months pregnant and was craving fish, drove half an hour to get what I needed and my God, me and baby will sleep well tonight!! Compliments to the chef dem, everything was done to perfection, definitely will be my go to spot.
It s not 24hrs, been here multiple times after 2am they leave a number for you to call but never answer. I m not sure why this business is saying they re 24hrs when it s not! You have to know them personally to get anything after 2am which is ridiculous.

honestly, one of the better Caribbean restaurants Ive been to. Prices are also fantastic ($13 for a combo I think and theres enough food there for leftovers)

I don t live close by but the times I m near Topaz I always make an effort to stop by and order something. Every dish is awesome and always fresh, if you want nice authentic jerk chicken I suggest you try it out. The seafood pasta medley is just delicious I suggest getting it with the garlic sauce.
Bought a brownstew fish for about $28 and let me tell you its sized from my wrist to my elbow. The container. Also the fish is a big size. Great quality

I did not dine or get take out. I went for a so called event. The event itself was poorly managed, false advertising it was not even worth $5. Even if I had wanted to dine or order food I wouldnt recommend this establishment it was old and filthy looking. I refused to even buy a drink and I surely didnt use the washroom I could only imagine the condition. Unfortunately I had to stay longer than I wanted drove with a friend. I didnt have a good experience there and 1 star is way to high for this place.
Food @that location is Great and tasty. Like seriously order a fish and rice it takes 45min when u reach @ the spot to grab your order u still have to wait 15 minutes,Now worst if u call for soup u still wait a whole life time ...CUM ON LETS PROCESS CUSTOMERS A LITTLE BETTER.
