Best food ever. If you want to try real Salvadorian home made food this is the place . The best by far.
The Pupusas are very tasty, this is our 4th time ordering them and they’re always good. But unfortunately it seems like they’re getting smaller every time. 😕
Loved the chicken tacos. Spinach and cheese pupusa (corn flour) was good but I loved the chicken and cheese one made with the rice flour better. Tres la ches was decent. They were out of the tamale and maybe next time will get to try it
Take-out menu doesn’t match Uber Eats or DoorDash. I told them, and they just said prices are up because everything is made here. Had I ordered through Uber Eats we would had paid less. Non sense. And the food is so salty I couldn’t finish the pupusas
We stumbled on this place solely because we wanted (craving) papusas. We got cheese, cheese and zucchini, and pork papusas. Like I said we were craving it. Plus we got their beef soup 🤤. We brought it home and enjoyed our meal wholeheartedly. We even said we should pin this location for our future visits to the area. Full disclaimer my partner ordered the food and interacted with the staff. The total bill was pricey (but hey! What isn't these days); we ordered more than we usually would for 2 people. Parking can be difficult but there is open parking in a lot across the street if none right outside the restaurant front.
I had never been to the restaurant, but I like to order delivery there. I really like their menu and their service. Now that I went there, I found a clean place, there were tables available although it was advisable to go without a car if possible. Otherwise a delicious traditional, homely meal. 😋
Great local spot that was very friendly. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. I would absolutely return, and they have their Birria tacos that are stewed overnight. Excited to give them a try.
Disorganized Restaurant , cant get orders right or on time. I've ordered from here twice. First time the food took an hour and ten minutes to arrive. 2km away. Second time they forgot to add beans to my bean plantain order. I tried to give this restaurant a chance but every time I order its something else. Here you can see they gave me old avocados. 2/5 stars for the inconsistencies.
Might be the best papusas Ive had in the city.
Best pupusas Ive ever had!! -a Salvadoran
Food we ordered was delicious. Nice family restaurant. Very delicious seafood soup.
Delicious and a great price. Top notch Edit after visitinga few more times: still 5 stars. Quality, taste and bang for your buck Food
Delicious pupusas here, try it
Very friendly and efficient stuff. Fast prep time.
I tried to call to place an order, they hung up on me.
literally addicted to eating from here i order a bad amount of pupusas and i wouldnt have it any other way
I got the beef tacos, 3 pupusas, and horchata. The beef was a bit tough, but the tacos as a whole were delicious. Same for the pupusas, which were still burning hot when they arrived. The packaging they do for takeout/delivery is a bit odd, but not a bad thing. I just didnt expect for the curtido and tomato sauce to come in plastic bags, haha. But I appreciate that they separated everything. Horchata was also put in a quart container instead of a takeout cup. But in the end I could still drink out of it, and it was delicious, so who cares. Will for sure be ordering the pupusas and horchata again, but will try a different taco. Edit: I ordered from here again, and got the chicken tacos this time. They were inedible. The chicken looked like mush, and tasted like it. There was no flavour, except from the cilantro and onions (and lime juice I squeezed on). They were also ice cold, which makes me believe they are not fresh. Even after zapping them in the microwave I couldnt finish, and ended up throwing them out. What a waste of money. The pupusas were HOT, so I know the cold tacos werent caused by time or how the delivery driver stored them. Stay tuned to see if I get food poisoning! P.S. The horchata and pupusas were still bomb. But seeing as the tacos were a bust both times, I wont be ordering from here any more.
Order Uber Eats and the Avocado was rotten I would have rather not to have it it looks so bad Empanada doesnt have any sugar on top Curtido smells really bad Food : 1/5 |
Great food and amazing staff.
The pupusas are delicious! One of my regular Pupusas spots!
Pretty good servings for your moneys worth.
Excellent staff great food Good service Food
The pupusas here are the B E S T! Havent tried any other food, but I highly recommend this place! And it was also very quick!
I love Nachos at this place
One of my fave Salvadorian restaurants!
Great place! Pupusas, tacos and nachos were amazing! And their pricing was good as well!
Amazing pupusas in the GTA delicious highly recomended! The ownwer Maria is a very kind person.
Authentic El Salvadorian food just like the way my mom made it
Amazing nachos... the pupusas are generous and so delicious. This is my familys favorite pupusa spot
The best pupusas, good vegetarian options.
Most fresh and delicious pupusa I have had in Toronto!!
Fantastic pupusas. Tamal so good. Friendly staff. Clean, Authentic...
Little slow service but good Salvadoran food
Great pupusas but they seemingly dont care to take an order from a speaker of English.
I usually order pupusas and the yuca fries, I can t say on anything else BUT if you love PUPUSAS, this is my #1 place to go to. I ve gone to a lot of places but this place is my #1 option and best choice. Whenever I ve introduced their pupusas to other people; their minds change. 100% recommend this place.
Fix your hours they are not correct and you will lose customers, terrible customer service
Very disappointing, we ve ordered 6 pupusas on uber eats and they provided such little sauce and cabbage. Please do better be fair with portions we re not paying 5$ we re paying over 30$. There was no cheese at all, tasted pre made and heated.
EXCELLENT and ABUNDANT food, reasonable prices and good service. I will be back and soon.
Good music and food nice people
Food was delicious, would definitely order from here again!
The Pupusas were very good, but we ordered a soup and it was not good at all, I told him not to want chayote and they threw him out anyway, the service is not very professional. There are many things to improve
I placed an order and both the beans in the pupusas and the beans in the nachos tasted burnt.
Not good to come So much waiting time Service : 1/5 |
Food was pretty good but service was horrible. Too bad, i wont be coming back.
Such bad service just order from Uber eats Yuca con carne and not even close to what the serve in the restaurant
Decent food quality. I m not from El Salvador so i cannot speak about food authenticity, but, i enjoyed my meal
I drove from Calgary to Toronto non-stop (Except for a 4 hour nap) and arrived Toronto at 7PM. First stop? This restaurant and I had 4 pupusas. The Chicaron/Pork was very delicious and very flavorful which you wont find in Calgary. Unfortunately, I left Toronto the next day and joked around that I spent $1,000 on 4 pupusas Hehehe.
Service was fast. Place clean and quiet. Went in at dinner rush, but still managed to order and get out within 20 minutes. My opinion is that it is great timing for a restaurant which was busy with dine in and other take outs.
The food is simply spectacular; Each pupusa is a masterpiece of traditional Salvadoran flavors. The mix of fresh ingredients and the mastery of preparation make each bite an unforgettable delight. I cant stop praising the perfect texture and rich filling that make these pupusas incomparable! The service is another highlight. The staff is not only friendly and attentive, but also demonstrates a deep knowledge of Salvadoran cuisine. Their dedication to ensuring every customer has a memorable experience is evident in every interaction. The attention received was beyond my expectations. From personalized recommendations to the patience to explain each dish, the team at 100% Salvadoreño strives to provide exceptional service. In short, 100% Salvadoreño is more than a restaurant; It is a direct journey into authentic Salvadoran cuisine with service that leaves a lasting impression. I will definitely be back for more delicious pupusas and spectacular service!
A culinary experience that goes beyond pupusas: I tried the 100% Salvadoran soups and was totally impressed! Each spoonful is an explosion of comforting flavors that transport you directly to Salvadoran home cooking.
Their Fresh Food is delicious, I love it. They cook it with love and care and Their worker are very friendly and respectful . Their customer service is their 1st priority , However this restaurant is clean and busy. Over all10/10 I will come back again I recommend this place. Vegetarian options: There is also pupusas with no meats and breakfast. Parking: In front of the restaurant and it a open parking lot in the mini plaza
Amazing service!
The best. Worth. Every. Penny. I dont know who their cook is, but damn. My hats off to you.
Amazing Pupusas !!!! The food & service was impeccable
Love this place but the service is just not there, really unprofessional setting :( but I would recommend take out here!
Ordered on Doordash & was super disappointed. The beans were hard and had dough... and I was hungry. Hard bananas. I do not recommend
Best pupusas in Toronto and nicest family-owned restaurant in the city. Quick service, quality ingredients, excellent spicy salsa. Support this family business and help these guys get through the pandemic <3
Excellent food! Just like back home everyone go here!
The pupusas are delicious! The rice pupusas are 100% Salvadoran. The best in Toronto
I got the chicharron and cheese pupusa and a mixed one. Price is good and tasty. The only thing that I did not like was the sauce. It seems to be very diluted and not enough flavor. I also asked for utensils and never got any.
Very delicious pupusas. The problem is that at take out they always get confused or dont put the cabbage, they forget the tomato sauce or the pupusas are not the ones you order.
very good service
I loved it in here the vibe the staff the food, this was very taste totally recommend
Great food, but time can be variable
the best in flavor and service. I am not Salvadorian but I travel once a month for more than 45 minutes just to taste the divine flavor of the pupusas the best in flavor and service. My only observation would be the cleanliness of the bathrooms
thank you good food .
Extremely rude and arrogant owner.
One of the best Salvadoran flavors!
Great fresh food definitely recommend and will be going back very soon
Not one to give a bad review, especially to a family-owned restaurant like this one but I feel like the owners need to hear this. I loved the vibe of this restaurant, it kind of felt like I was in El Salvador when I walked in. My girlfriend (she is Salvadorian) and I were very excited to try their pupusas. Their pupusas are honestly fantastic compared to other restaurants we ve tried. Their salsa is definitely a bit lack lustre and somewhat diluted but does the trick. We also got their bria tacos, a breakfast dish, and their carne asada which was nothing special but tasty nonetheless. Now the bad, there was a cooked bug (looked like a cockroach) in our carne asada. We literally could not believe it. The restaurant looked fairly clean but there was unmistakably a cooked bug in our dish. We showed one of the waitresses the bug and she took our dish to the kitchen saying she wanted to show the cook the bug. When she comes back out she said the cook didn t see it and was hesitant to take responsibility. We politely assured her it was buried beneath the rice and to that she said the dish would be free. When it came to pay she ended up charging us for the dish (half-eaten before we saw the bug) which we only realized on our drive out when we wondered why our bill was so high. All in all, we really wanted to like this place but a cooked bug completely ruined our appetite and the way the restaurant dealt with the issue led me to sharing this experience.
Amazing and best Salvadorian food in Toronto!
Food was homemade and excellent definitely best taco is the carne asada and enchiladas extra spicy. Bonus was homemade tres Leche
Best food
Super tasty and friendly service my go to place
**HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** I ve ordered from this restaurant a few times now. The staff were very inviting and had amazing customer service. The food was made in a timely manner. Best pupusas I ve ever had. A must try!
The Gallina Buena soup, the chilaquiles do not lack flavor, they taste like tomato, only the pupusas are regular. Parking: On the sidewalk
I was a very good customer until yesterday Friday April 3 ,2020.Due to this pandemic COVID19 I ordered 2 fry fish $36 and a grilled steak for $16, I was expecting to get charge $52 plus tax around $60 but the lady owner said to me a I forgot to tell you I gonna charge you double because these fishes are bigger, I said how much then she said $88.50 come on restaurants owners don t take advantage of this pandemic COVID19 situation
Las Pupusa de chicharon y queso no tienen NADA de queso! And I order tamales .never got them? Also I m missing my pupusas con jalapeño ? The person working is sleeping or something lol do better
I visited this restaurant today and ordered sopa de gallina it was one of the best soups I have ever had, the tortillas were well made and delicious.
This place is a new favourite when I m craving comfort food. The pupusas are excellent with the sauce (delicious and simple) and lightly pickled cabbage. I see a lot of reviews questioning the quality and price. Of course, its easy to make top notch food using very expensive ingredients. However, making amazing food relying on simple and fresh ingredients is much more laborious and commendable. If anything their prices are too low for the quality they re delivering. Gracias por las comidas ricas, frescas, y divinas, 100% salvadoreño! Vegetarian options: Amazing zucchini and cheese pupusas, mouth watering plantain empanadas
Food was a bit expensive but the plantanos are some of the best Ive ever had. A+
yummy
Diverse Latin menu. Prices are reasonable. Food was great. When you consider the price of a burger combo you can call ahead and grab a bunch of pupusas and have a real treat. Staff are so nice and friendly. You can also stop into The Store convenience store, right beside and grab the milk or whatever. Perfect stop on the way home.
Highly recommend! Best pupusas that I have had in the city (and I have had quite a few!). The flavors are amazing!! Great prices and delicious food. The flautas were also really great! Looking forward to trying more of the menu!
The service was excellent
Best pupusas in the city!
Picked up pupusas and tacos al pastor. Portion sizes were very good, food was flavourful. Spinach, zucchini and cheese pupusas. Piping hot. Cheesy and tasty. If you are in North York and missing your friend and especially his moms cooking it does the trick.
No respect Uber driver !
I ordered food from Uber eats and after couple of bites, we found hair in my food. This is definitely not okay and you can find way better restaurants with better tasting food and with no hair in their food...
Horrible service!!!!
already
To be honest, there wasnt anything I didnt like
unproffessional staff , i found an hair inside food
I never seen in my life. Its too bad. They are not respectful. I am not recommending that place.
horrible customer service! very unhygenic and the papusas are definitely not authentic. There are many better places in the area. I will not return! would rather eat food smeared on the floor of a dumpster then eat here.
First all, they got my order wrong and made me pay for a 30$ meal when my order was only 10$. When I approached the owner about it she said they would refund me my money back. They scammed me and took my money and gave me my 10$ food. When I walked in there was food all over the floor, and it s very evident that they do not clean their restaurant. I m assuming all your customers are friends because not ONE person in the entire restaurant was wearing a mask, not even the cooks or cashier. There was about 6 young children running around the entire restaurant with no masks. Not only that they are illegally allowing 4 people to indoor dine during a stay at home order. They laughed in my face when I told them they got my order wrong she said she knew she gave me the wrong meal and over charged me and never even thought to run outside to tell me. Their sketchy debit card machine that supposedly refunded my debit card did not give me my money back. She knew what she was doing and took my money. I am warning you now, PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. It s unhygienic, unprofessional, and a scam.
Absolutely disgusting! I found I hair in my food
Terribly quality. some of the worst Ive had in a while.
Very disappointed in how they talk to their customers.
Food is absolutely terrible found a finger nail in my food. Owner is absolutely rude. Would not recommend going here.
Pupusas are soooooo delicious service amazing plus they know God thats why theyre business are soo bless....Dios siga prosperando!
Dont know, wasnt there
I really love my order of plantains with the cream and the beans , I love food tasting , so I dont mind paying for something that its good but I believe this was just to $$ for this portion , for those who has not try plantains , should try them they are good on any way their cook that is my opinion with no intention of disrespect anyone
Best pupusas in town. I was born and raised in El Salvador and I can guarantee these are legit! The tamales and empanadas are also really good
The recommended food is very delicious.
Amazing
Perfect family environment with unbeatable food
Good place to eat ,family restaurant Good service
Excellent pupusas!!
They will scam your money. Shouldve read the multiple other reviews mentioning this. I ordered 10 pupusas and only received 7. I can understand if 1 or 2 was forgotten but 3?
Its the first time Ive ordered from this restaurant, I dont know if it always takes a long to make five pupusas. I ordered by phone and was told that it would take 25 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later and was told to wait an additional 25 minutes. I would recommend that they should have more cooks on busy days or have ingredients ready to get orders done faster. _______________________________________________ Its the first time Ive ordered something from this restaurant, I dont know if they always take too long to make five pupusas. 100% Recommended, the food is delicious with good seasoning and great service! The people are very kind and I loved everything! I recommend it
I ordered Some pupusas by Uber eat Worse experience I wont recommend to order anything from this place save your money and eat somewhere they provide good quality of food. Pupusas with Hair and chicharon authentic Salvadorean food.
Fresh, hot, flavor.
I ordered a pork & cheese pupusa today and it was amazing! I was so hungry that I ate it all before even taking a photo. It came with hot sauce, coleslaw and tomato sauce(?) i believe. I m not a fan of coleslaw but it paired so well with the pupusa. I m definitely going to come back as the food was affordable, made fresh and tasted great. The service was great as staff was very friendly and welcoming. I m assuming this is family run so it has a very mom and pop kind of vibe/ambiance.
Excellent service and food! Always satisfying my cravings of saldorean dishes
Very good pupusas.
Great pupusas, pescado frito and spicy salsa. Very friendly service. I will come back soon!
This restaurant has the best food ever imagined please check it out.
Great food!! Tastes authentic like back home. The staff is also friendly and the service is amazing. Believe me you must try it!!!
Thank you for your amazing take-out service. I am always impressed with the taste, speed of delivery, and consistent quality of food. I m very satisfied with your pupusas. Highly recommend trying the pork, beans, and cheese pupusas.
Best pupusas Ive ever had and theres a lot of care put into the side dish that comes with it (a slaw?). The plantain is great, the tacos are great, everything is amazing. Im working way through the menu and Im excited for my next order.
Home made style always better !
Delicious pupusa! Wonderful and friendly staff! Will come back and 100% recommend this place
Very good service. Pupusas were delicious.
I was happy to hear that this was a 100 % Salvadorean food but when I ordered and received my pupusas it was a very disappointing moment, the pupusas were awful, mix pupusas they call it or revueltas in Spanish, there was no cheese or beans, just pork and had no flavor. I am Salvadorean and I know pupusas, please change the name of your restaurant, that is not 100% Salvadorean food
The flavour of the chicken and steak tacos were on point! Not bland at all! The plaintain with sour cream was yummy.
The food is very delicious and a portion to satisfy hunger. But the service and speed of preparing food is very slow
Good flavor in the delicious pupusas, they just lack a delicious sauce....but excellent service
The food is ok, I could do without the attitude and to top it all it is expensive.
Even if you order by phone, it takes a long time to prepare the food. The food is delicious but the service is terrible.
Delicious!!!!!!
Their pork and cheese pupusas are the best!! Im sure the other flavors must be too. Tasty pupusas, and friendly service. Worth trying if you havent.
Ive been to a lot of Salvadoran spots but i keep on coming back here. Reasonably priced and pupusas are the best. The sauces they give you are #1.
So tasty, fresh and delicious. Wow
Very delicious pupusas and extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The curtido was fresh and the chicharrón was well flavoured. Definitely going to be a return spot for me.
The chicken tamale was really nice. Lovely little family restaurant
excellent service, delicious food and seasoning, 100% recommended
Good pupusas and cow foot soup
Very good fresh food good quality and reasonable price.
Pupusas are amazing
Pupusas are very small and not too authentic, there service is ok but you have to use plastic utensils!! Not environmentally friendly at all!! Their tamales are very small as well and quite soft and soggy. They will also charge you a fee so you can pay them using a card and also do not provide a proper receipt with their HST number showing as required by law!!
Fair food for the prices..... great pupusas....
Simply delicious!!
Hispanic food Res soup good, Guinea empanadas with beans and poliada,;was good
The food is useless, apart from the fact that in the photo it looks 2 times bigger than what they brought to the table.
