Excellent service but i had to agree with one of the reviews the sandwich had a strong smell of bleach which isnt good for food consumption. They do not understand english so i tried to tell them and they just told me to go away. My suggestion is to please check ur order before leaving. Its a NO from me.

Bought 3 banh mi this morning. Was gonna eat it for lunch but notice a very strong stench of rubbing alcohol/ ammonium in the banh mi. Almost like bleach. I m scared to eat so I will be throwing it away. Never buy again.

Absolutely horrible!! 3 of us ordered some the same some different sandwiches , one guys stomach was so upset he ended up puking !!! The bread is extremely heavy the sandwich is extremely dry with hardly any flavour!!! I don t see how some people who reviewed this place would consider anything above a 1 star and yet some considering it the best bahn mi they ever had !!! Horrible .

This place is a hidden gem! Never saw a bun mi place with a price under $5, affordable prices and delicious bun mi! I ordered the bun mi with shredded pork and sweet soy sauce, and the bun mi with chicken. Both were very delicious and tasty. The bread was crunchy, and the sauce delicious. I ate only one bun mi and was full! The staff are also very friendly. I highly recommend you to come to this place!

This is the last place in Toronto with Banh Mi under $5. Youd be wrong if you thought you got what you paid for. I was surprised with the amount of meat and pate in it - alot! There are lots of varieties of banh mi ( i.e fried chicken, bbq pork, shredded chicken etc) that I will give a try next time. One note that the bun is on the crunchy side so if you like soft buns, this is not for you. They also sell rice as well but the sign is in Vietnamese, feel free to ask what is the special of the day

Best banh mi :) the bread is extremely fresh, chewy but soft. The perfect ratio of meat, pickle and heat in the assorted! One of the reviews said theres no pate but I noticed pate in mine???? Two thumbs up! Its my new go to banh mi shop now.

The lady serving me was really nice. I ordered two chicken satay banh mi and they were afoordable and amazing! I ate one and was definetly filled after eating one as the bun was bigger than other banh mi s I ve had previously. My only complaint would be that I would like a little more crunch to my banh mi however after reading reviews by others many like a softer bread. I will definitely be back to try more banh mi

I think this is one of the best banh mi in town. I always order the banh mi dac biet and gà x t . Their sauces/mayonese are really good. Their chilli and soy sauce are really good as well. The owners are super nice and friendly. When i bough a-lot of stuff, they often gave me extra stuff like the fried banana. Their prices are much better compared to others.

Honestly one of the best VN sub. Chicken sate was sooooo good. I paid for extra meat, $1.50 each sub, and it was worth it. The bread was crispy but chewy on the inside. Not dry or hard like some bread can be. Nice balance of pickled vegetables. The sauce, was delicious and definitely made the sub. I also bought fried banana for $1 each and it was super tasty. It was cold and I reheated in toaster oven and it was so crispy. Will definitely come back!! Parking: Many parking spots since in strip mall.

Wow, I read the review on the Toronto international student group, but its right near where I work so I had to try it I tried chicken satay and fish floss and it was super good The pickles are delicious, the banana cake is ok The seller was so cute, he gave me another cake

So I had to try this. According to google it is amazing. I was not disappointed. Its a little hole in the wall place that looks akin to a shack from the outside. The inside is no different with burglar proof bars everywhere and the man making the sandwiches behind more bars and a tiny window to pay and get ur food. The only thing i could read was banh mi which is what I ordered. I chose the first option and asked for it to be spicy. The bread was fresh and the filling was good. For an extra 50 cents i said yes to their house made? Pork floss. It was tasty but i wish they made it more spicy. For 2 banh mi and 2 pops with the extra pork floss it came out to 11 dollars!!!! My jaw dropped. Great value for money. I think its cash only. There is no dine in either. Oh and the owner is so nice!!

Ordered 8 of their #1 sandwiches which is what I normally see. Theyve got a lot of different varieties, which is a nice option. The person behind the counter offered one free sandwich if I buy 2 more. Ok, twist my arm, I bought 2 more. The bread is fresh as well as the ingredients. The paste they use as their mayo had some flavor which I dont remember if thats normal, but a nice touch. Overall, the sandwich was good but I cant say its a 5* sandwich.

I tried this place after reading some reviews for other similar places. Dont get me wrong, the person that made the sandwiches who I assume was the owner was very nice and the inside of the sandwiches were tasty but the bun was ROCK HARD and eating the sandwiches was almost impossible (I threw out most of it. Im sure the person that made the sandwiches was aware of what he was giving me). The price is NOT as cheap as what everyone says. Im definitely not going there again. It was just a waste of $$$$. Ill stick to my usual place that never disappoints (Nguyen Huong Sandwiches). You get what you pay for there (a tasty sandwich that is reasonably priced).

Love the banh mi in this cute small shop right beside Chi Thanh Supermarket. The owner is an older gentleman who is very kind and accommodating. They also have french fries and banh chuoi chien. I would definitely recommend this place if you re looking for an authentic Vietnamese banh mi taste.

Love this little banh mi joint! They offer an English menu on the outside now which makes ordering a lot easier! Highly recommend if you re in the area.

Cash only. An amazing deal. Thank you to the wonderful man who made them! Words are overrated. I gave $20 for 6 sandwiches and he kindly let me know it was $21. When I asked for a minute to get it in my car, he handed me the bag, waved me off with a smile and gestured dont worry about it. I returned with the $1 but will support this place forever because of it. Portion for price feels like robbery. Amazing chicken satay!

Found this spot randomly on Google Maps thanks to all the reviews! Great spot for authentic banh mi. The owner was so nice. I left a couple dollars as a tip and he brought it out to my car thinking I had forgot it. Will visit again for sure! You have to get it with the chilli.

Love the taste, love the decoration, love the price and the owner is super lovely and nice- he reminds me a lot of my grandfather which make me want to support him more.

The best banh mi in GTA, I have tried many places but none of them were like or close to banh mi in Vietnam, until I tried this place. The owner is a sweet and nice man, I recommend to try Banh Mi Y which costs $1 extra but the crunchiness is so much worth it.

The bhan mi was fast, authentic, and tasty! I got the assorted bhan mi - #1 on the menu- and it was only $3.50! I recommend this little takeout restaurant if you want a fast, tasty sandwich and a lot of value for your money.

The BEST bánh mì Ive ever had in Toronto. Authentic banh mi and chu i chiên, absolutely delicious . Located next to the grocery store, very small shop. The gentleman was kind with a friendly smile. bánh mì - $3.50 chu i chiên - 2 for $1.00 Well worth the drive.

Really great Banh Mi, possibly best I ve had. Super fresh ingredients! Ordering was a tad complicated as menus are all in Vietnamese, but I ordered a chicken and ham sandwich and both were fantastic. Always ask to make them spicy for a nice kick!

Delicious Banh Mi! I find it better than Nguyen Huong (located on Wilson). Lots of veggies inside and a unique touch of thinly-sliced pickled red onion! Very good balance! We got the assorted sandwich and also the lemon grass chicken. Both were excellent, however, the chicken was extra phenomenal! Lots of flavour! The store front is kind of like a booth. Don t let that fool you though! I highly recommend trying out this small but yummy banh mi spot! I hope it s here to stay!
