Amazing management, good food, kid friendly environment, I brought my kids there and they really enjoyed it! Servers are nice and respectful.

Ive been here a few times and it has always been a positive experience except today. We arrived before 8 pm and by 8:30 one of the employees started mopping around us and it was not pleasant. The scent was so strong like clorox, my husband was still eating at that time and had lost his apetite. Why not close early if you need time to clean? This is so unacceptable and disappointing. We will not come back again.

Fun a great place to take young kids.

Really enjoyed my experience at Robo Sushi. It was my first time and I really liked it. Fun concept being seated and served by robots. I will definitely go back. It was worth the money forsure. Only one complaint. The staff making the sushi were behind the counts on their phone, coughing in their hands and rubbing eyes and face. I certainly hope they were either washing their hands or putting in gloves before preparing any food for customers. Best restaurant. Average price for reservations but with robot service and tasty food. Its a must try. Its like your every other restaurant but with robots serving food free crab self-serve dessert, and much more. I would suggest bringing back the tall maidens at the doorway, they bring a nice welcoming feeling. Kid-friendliness: Very fun for children, especially the robots and the awesome food.

Ordered on Ubereats. The food was terrible. Teriyaki chicken had a wierd spongey texture not grilled like other places. The red dragon roll was sub-par & the salad was just plain lettuce roughly chopped. This could be the worst sushi experience I ve ever had in my lifetime & I ve tried alot. They give you a lot but it s not quality food.

Food was pretty bad. This was the bulgogi. So dry and tasteless. The salmon roll was fishy and did not taste fresh at all. Would not recommend.

This is the newest menu and price for everything, the website doesnt show any of the prices so thats a bit of an inconvenience. The food came out very quickly and the sushi are pretty good, sashimi doesnt taste fishy at all so thats good! overall a good place to get sushi

I had a very disappointing experience at this sushi restaurant today. I ordered the vegetable tempura, and unfortunately, I found a hair on top of it. This completely ruined my meal and left me feeling very uncomfortable. I hope the restaurant takes better care in their food preparation and hygiene practices in the future

First time coming to Robo Sushi and it was amazing! The service was exceptional, the robot host leading you to your seat was adorable and the robots bringing the sushi out to the table was great. There was a special when we went for crab and lamb chops along with all you can eat and it was absolutely delicious along with everything else! Definitely recommend :)

It was my first time going there and I do not recommend it. As it was my first time there, the server did not even bother showing me how it works. They had a special of crab legs, I asked the server and he said that I can order as many times as I want, when I was ready to order more he told me that its a 1 time only, which is absurd. The sushi rolls were tasteles, not good at all. I asked for the bill and had to wait for 10 min and nobody came, I called a serve, and that person totally ignored me. What kind of customer service is that ? I had to go to the front to ask for my bill. Absolutely not recommending this place and never coming back.

Great casual Japanese restaurant with robot waiters. Service was fast and portions were large, great value and quality of food. They have an all you can eat option as well which we did not try. We had the hot and sour soup (comes in a large bowl), spicy chicken bento box, Maki roll plate, Salmon lovers boat would recommend if you like all things sushi and Japanese cuisine

Good food and excellent service and best staff behaviour

Got takeout from here several times and its always some type of bento box. The beef bulgogi is not bad, but I prefer it with more/thicker sauce. It didnt have much flavour. That being said, portions are large and pretty good for the price.

As for ayce sushi, its one of the best Ive had in Toronto. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Its always full but not crowded. Weve been to ROBO SUSHI for lunch/dinner many times and you can tell that the clientele is loyal.

I am here eating at 9:30pm, and they re cleaning the floors with bleach/strong chemicals causing the smell to linger and irritate people inside, Im already getting a headache. This place should not be cleaning with such chemicals let alone when guest are still dining in.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Brilliant and quick service. The robot servers are so cute! Definetly recommend!

When I entered the restaurant, one of the employees was sleeping with a blanket at the entrance. (was lying on the bench with a blanket, at the entrance table!!) When I asked if this was normal, they made fun of me and laughed. a ridiculous place It is very normal for the working staff to sleep at the entrance of the restaurant, but it seemed strange that I said this. Do not come to such restaurants.

Been dining here since 2019, I still remember how the place used to be spoon & fork until it became robo. Been enjoying my dining experience until they have these new staffs earlier this year. Everytime we dine it just feels like the recent staffs were giving us attitude, wont give us water when thats the first thing they bring to your table, but we see them catering to other tables efficiently. Even the special they have for all you can eat (crab legs and oysters before which is now crab legs and lamb chops) dont get served to us until later when were almost done with our meal. I wouldnt complain about it, but I literally see other tables getting theirs in the beginning of their meal when we arrived earlier than they were. It also just felt off how they offered a $10 off coupon to other customers after checking out and we werent given any. Its just sad to see that the place I enjoy is starting to change and makes me feel like we should just look for a new AYCE restaurant. Me and my partner frequently dines at robo (Id say we visit atleast twice or thrice a month), but our last visit was just my final straw. Foods good but I dont like our dining experience anymore.

Our Server other than the Robot was friendly and attentive( she also had her hair in a braid n looked like an Asian Elsa, according to my grands) Vegetarian options: Most of party were vegans. There were some misses like meat in the center of sticky rice. No rice without meat or eggs. But we all left feeling ever so stuffed with goodies Kid-friendliness: The kids love the robots even more than the Grown ups.

If I could rate this restaurant 0 I would . Me and my fiancé came in thinking this place is nice restaurant to celebrate her birthday . The food poison and made her unwell . After telling this to the supervisor going back and forth . I agreed to pay for the things we ate . Because my objective to come to a restaurant to enjoy the food. Not to have free food . That s what the owner thinks .there multiple reviews here saying the food is dry and bad . He agreed too . Then he came back and said no . We have to charge you for the full bill all you can eat the food was VERY VERY BAD. I don t even have sushi often and I think it was bad . My finance had sushi all the time. We only ate for 10 minutes. The SUSHI Food was BAD. After 35 minutes. The owner called and said pay for what you ate . I paid 63$ for ten minutes and the food made my lady feel unwell ON HER BIRTHDAY. We went next door and we order dinner AGAIN at DARBANG Restaurant. You literally ROBBED ME OFF 63$ . The food was VERY BAD SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE and the owner is NOT a good HOST . I have been to so many restaurants.shame on this restaurant .10 minutes I paid 63$ instead of 88 dollars . Here a receipt of next door dinner we went too . Shame on an establishment like yours . I will contact the business bureau and report you . I been to ALOT RESTAURANT. I never been treated like this on a special occasion. I paid $45 I will upload the receipts SOON . It s on my fiancé phone. You can reach out to me and refund me. That s the least you can do . i and my son ordered in the same time for lunch today. my son food came but mine wasn t. we asked 2-3 servers to check but till my son finished his food though he tried to slow down to wait for me still my order : vegetarian maki set didn t come. We checked out with the bill showing two orders and only deducted after being told one orders never came. Restaurant was more than half empty but kitchen management and service are very poor . The manager came and gave excuse that frying mushroom take time ( waiting for 30 min ) Disappointed.

During the revolution it appears that the robots are dirty and don t actually do much. Not recommended as the food is pretty poor. Cold Gyoza and chewy dim sum.

We havent been to Robo sushi since it took over from another sushi restaurant and thought we would give it a try. We ordered the two roll lunch special and were VERY disappointed ! We ordered spicy salmon rolls and upgraded to brown rice. Here are the problems (see the picture) - the rolls were VERY small (about 3 cm across) and for some reason they used what we think was panko, as filler - VERY LITTLE SALMON and what they used seem to be off-cuts. - the brown rice was some type of black rice we had never ever seen in any other Japanese restaurant. - not a great flavour either. - the spicy salmon had no spice. We realize every sushi chef has their own recipe and spices but this had no spice at all. We read the reviews which seemed very positive but we wont be going back. Hate to say it but grocery store sushi is FAR better than what we got here. Cannot recommend Robo sushi.

I ordered take out. Sushi was bad. As other reviewers have written, it was covered in a sauce to cover up how old the fish was but you could still taste that the ingredients were old. An hour later, experiencing crippling food poisoning. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

The quality of food has dropped dramatically since a year and half ago, I have told them twice in the restaurant and they gave me $5 discount ticket !!! To be used in our next visits! Seems that they are serving the return food! Very old and tasteless! It used to be very good two years ago! I do not recommend it to any one! Last time I ve been was last week! And I got sick for two days!!

Not a fan of the $7 charge for take-home food. Why is there a charge to take home food if Im paying for all-you-can-eat. Dont get the rationale there. But waiters are friendly, food is decent but the portions have gone down since I last came here in 2022 (which is why all-you-can-eat is the better option)

Not high quality ingredients. For $29.95 that is to be expected. Waiters looked like they would rather be anywhere else than there. Don t order beef anything.. no need to return.

Extremely disappointed with the service, I unknowingly ordered the wrong item and asked for it to be exchanged as soon as the server brought it to the table. The plate was untouched, and they had refused to exchange it for me then 3 employees continued to argue with me. I ve never experienced anything like this before and am truly upset.

Sushi was nothing special. Just average and mediocre at best. The whole robot theme is just a cheap marketing gimmick to attract customers in thats all.

It s a fun novelty, and I m pretty sure people kept taking food that wasn t theirs as I didn t get a lot of the items I ordered, but it s all you can eat so at least missing food didn t cost me anything more. Service from the robots is great, service by actual people isn t as great. The rolls are tasty, but could be rolled a bit tighter in my experience.

STAY AWAY !! I am a long time customer and I got violently sick from food poisoning 2 1/2 months ago here. I thought I would give it a second shot today and the food was extremely poor quality, everything was cold, and service was horrible. I was nervous to eat the food and all the staff did was heat it up when it came out. This place has gone so downhill, dont waste your time and money!!

The only cool things were the robots, the food was bland and nothing special. Service was poor and staff seemed unenthusiastic and bored. The electricity went out when we were eating and took approximately 10 minutes to come back on, staff had no explanation or apology. Overall, the robots were cool but everything else was pretty mediocre.

We had been dreaming to come visit this japanese restaurant but was so disappointed with the food. The beef teriaki we ordered is soft but does not taste beef at all. The tea doesnt taste like tea at all. Its as good as water. The worse is the sea food Ramen, it taste like a noodle soaked in hot water no taste at all. Just a smell off the artificial crabmeat but has no taste at all. Just a waste of money. Servers are passing by but no interaction with customer not even one visit our table to ask about the food or if we need anything. We did regular order by the way.

AYCE lunch is now $28.99 Higher than many around the GTA. No indication of a senior discount. The last visit just after the pandemic, the food wasn t as good either.

I used to visit there almost every month, but the last time I went, the quality of the food was absolutely dreadful.

Robots fun, but the rest disappoints Robo Sushis website is a total letdown no updated info, and especially frustrating that they dont list their all-you-can-eat prices. I found the food was okay at best, and the service was pretty bad. The robots were neat, but several items were forgotten. Also, the dessert bar was a sad sight. I could definitely do a lot better with $50 in the area.

I like the food for an all you can eat. But the staff can be very rude and insulting to their guests. Especially in regards to reservations.

We reserve over the phone and no one mentioned thats only all you can eat menu, We drove 40 minutes then they refuse to serve us a la carte, and insist on all you can eat menu, very bad service and disappointing

If you are looking for a sushi buffet, Robo Sushi is also good. You can enjoy as much sushi as you want for 2 hours for about $45 per person. It takes time for the food to come out, so you have to order well first so you can eat without stopping.

Normally I order the salmon lover and the fish is always very good. However I got a steak teriyaki today and it was below subpar, so bad that it warranted a review to ward others away from ordering it. I genuinely dont think this chef has ever encountered a steak in the wild before. I think he found the mangiest piece of meat there was, microwaved it, and topped it on a bed of decently cooked vegetables. Robo does some things great like salmon and rolls, but unfortunately in my experience lacks consistency and quality with some of their other dishes.

My go to all you can eat sushi place. Food is great, I love how their sushi rolls and sashimi are bite size not too big and fit in the mouth perfectly. They also have oysters and grab legs for dinner now. Service is fast and atmosphere is great. Food

Like another review mentioned.. the whole robot thing is a gimmick. We were lead by tur robot in the beginning to our table. The only once the robot serve us our order. Food is decent, price is on par with others. Overall a nice place, will try again. Robot experience is certainly a bonus

The robot is a cute gimmick. You order via tablet, and the robot will then bring the food for you and you take it off the robot. There was a special bonus of one order of crab legs for each person. The crab leg was not very good, but the actual sushi buffet was superb. Usually not a huge fan of the none sushi stuff, but really liked their chicken skewers, a nice surprise.

Food was fresh and very good. Place is priced well. Robots are a bit lackluster, to be honest thot they would be more interactive server essentially had to keep coming over to push some buttons on it. Anyways, robots are gimmicky but would return for the food. Pina colada was fantastic too!

HORRENDOUS! Not only was this the worst sushi I have ever had in my entire life but ir also made everyone who consumed it violently ill.Our team ordered a large order of sushi and all four of us experienced vomiting, diarrhea, and upset stomach shortly afterwards. Avoid at all costs!

Don t trust the 5 star reviews. One of the worst places to eat. The quality of the food is horrible and the service if you would even call it service was nothing. Never refilled drinks and never cleaned up the empty plates. Also when we did not finish the food because it was so bad they charged us $10. DON T WASTE YOU RE MONEY HERE!

Good AYCE sushi with some robots to make it more interesting. They dont have sashimi during lunch, but cant complain for the price. Slightly less cooked dish selections compared to other places. They offer 10% discount when paying cash. Came here a second time and ordered a la carte during dinner. Bento boxes and sashimi sets are affordable, with decent quality and portion size. I would say Sushi Legend is better in terms of selection and quality, but Sushi Legend is slightly more expensive.

I ate here February 26th, 2024, and enjoyed all-you-can-eat lunch for $28.99. I stuffed my face, even had three bowls of an orange flavored ice cream for dessert. The dessert bowl was very small as if for an infant! A few regulars there and at 3 pm lots more people arrived. The parking lot extends from out front; theres tons of parking at the back of the building. the shrimp tempura was amazing as were the scallops. I can hardy wait to go back.

If you are a fan of sushi...Dont go here! Fun for the kids esp w robot waiters and free refill ice cream....thats about it. Sushi is very mediocre. Prices for kids are deceptive. They advertise $10 on their menu, but were charged $15 for 6yo, $16 for 7 yo and $19 for 10 yo. Kids got their moneys worth in ice cream though... which tells you whats the best thing on the menu!

GOT FOOD POISONING I went here with someone last year and we shared every dish expect for a meat one. He got food poisoning! When I tell you we took a taxi home (10 min ride) and then when we got home he was throwing up for two days straight. The food tasted good. Service is okay, don t know why they ask for a tip when it s just robots doing the service lol highly doubt that money goes towards upgrading the actual servers. Atmosphere is pretty though.

People are not friendly.not accommodating. I ll asked one server to refill my glass of water.. no avail. Foods especially the sushi and sashimi are not fresh and so dry. Server are too slow .there not smiling and not approachable.and salmon not properly cook.

I rate the Robo Sushi 7.5/10. I tried actual sushi for the first time (like raw fish and oysters) and I personally liked them (7.5/10). My friend who eats raw fish all the time gave all the raw fish in general a 7/10. He said it was good but nothing special. The all you can eat came with a plate of 8 crab legs and plate of 10 oysters at the beginning. The sushi rolls were smaller than I expected and werent the best but still decent. The AYCE total came up to $44.06 without tip. This wasnt including any drinks or add ons. A pop is like $2.50 and an alcoholic drink is around $9. The staff were nice but instead of me taking the food from the robot, the servers would just randomly come and take the food from the robot and put it on our table. It lowkey cheesed me bc that was part of the experience for us. But it was kinda empty inside so the food came out every 7-8 mins. But that might go up 15 mins if it was actually packed.

My step son and I frequent this location at York Mills and Don Mills quite often. However, today was the worst experience we have had there. The whole point of this restaurant is to have the robots deliver the food to your table. Today, not once did we have a robot deliver the food. Also, it took forever for very easy simple orders to show up. I vented my frustration to the manager, who seemed unfased about my concerns. Not only was there no apology, which is the least expected. There was no change to my bill. 0/10 Today.

I was very impressed with the service it was a really cool experimce with the robots moving all around the restaurant bringing customers their orders. They have an Ipad you can use to place your order of sushi from. They have an all you can eat or a la carte option. The place is very clean. I will definitely be coming backhere again.

One of the best sushi spots in town. Very clean, friendly staff, and a wide variety of sushi options, as well as other foods such as chicken wings, spring rolls, dumplings, etc.

Came to this restaurant with my family. This place was awful. If you choose to eat sushi here I m disappointed in you. The salmon left a strange after taste in my mouth and none of it seemed fresh. For some reason they were playing stock royalty free music as well and the entire restaurant was dark. Just because it s cheap, doesn t mean you should eat here. This is also coming from someone who has been to Japan and tried authentic sushi. All I am going to say that it s really bad. Customer service was questionable. The robots were the entire gimmick I guess and they were dirty. It does not feel very clean to eat from these dishes on a robot (which weren t even clean). 0/10.

Food and service are amazing. Manager is super welcoming, professional and generous. Well be back for sure! Food : 5/5
