Highly recommend this place - a must try! Food was amazing, service was great. Salute to the chef, we really enjoyed our breakfast and will be back soon!
I am regular customer here…and i loved this dish called rasam vada it tastes amazing…the 5star dish i can say that for sure and i had rasam soup here several times it is one of my favourite here and the emplyes here are so friendly here at last i loved the food literally
Every dish that you order will come fresh and hot! They have a mouthwatering collection of recipes. Damn 🥵 that tea is refreshing and a healthy medicine when you are sick.
We order chicken 65 and schezwan noodles for take out. No taste in both. Never try this restaurant. Quantity was very low. After spending 40$ we got tasteless foods. Please do not visit this place.
An Authentic Indian Street Food Experience! I recently visited Hashtag India, and it was absolutely incredible! The flavors transported me straight to the bustling streets of India. Every dish is packed with authenticity and spice, from the crispy samosas to the tangy chaats and rich curries. The food is fresh, bursting with flavor, and perfectly captures the essence of Indian street food. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. If you’re craving a true taste of India, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu! Highly recommended!
My wife and I recently visited this nice restaurant for brunch and had the aloo puri and masala dosa. Both dishes were delicious, with the perfect blend of spices and flavors. The restaurant also had a convenient hand wash station, which was great for cleaning up after the meal. Nice they open at 8am which is very nice for early birds. Overall, a pleasant experience and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for tasty Indian cuisine. Bahut tasty hai 😋
I order samosas and they don’t have chutney. I was like what!!!!😂😂 Also the samosa were from Canbe samosa, they just make it warm and serve it. Veg noodles were awesome and super spicy 🌶️ for spicy Lover. Overall experience: OKAY.
Top Tier Restaurant in GTA I have recently ordered Chicken fried rice from here for the first time. I was fed up with those big chain restaurants and wanted to try something new. The food here tasted absolutely amazing its balanced in terms of quality and quantity. Firstly, Compliments to the Chef, I think whose name was Bhaskar, make sure no one steals him from you guys :) Food had good taste to spice ratio which was fire on my taste buds at the same time you would want to gulp down even more just for the taste, until you lick the plate clean and realize you have nothing left haha. Overall, I would like to recommend Hashtag India to anyone who is looking for that I wish I have some Indian comfort meal right now vibes after their long day. KUDOS
I come from far away to eat wadaa and dosaa. Great service i do recommend for every one
Hope to see the OLD saag paneer recipe back.
Very tasty food friendly staff and fast service highly recommended
Had a great experience with the food and service
I had an amazing dining experience at Hashtag! We ordered the masala dosa and veg noodles, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The masala dosa was perfectly crisp, with a flavorful potato filling and chutneys that complemented it beautifully. The veg noodles were fresh, well-seasoned, and had the perfect balance of spices a delightful fusion of flavors! The service was excellent, with staff being friendly and attentive. Its clear that they take pride in both their food and their hospitality. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian flavors with a twist. I ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

Very nice South Indian breakfast menu, tried Idly & Egg Dosa. Both are very fresh and tasty. Friendly & Quick Service. Will go back again to try other items.
Though a little sweet, some of the best dosa and sambar Ive had in this area. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options Food : 4/5 |
They serve pre-packaged naan by heating it in microwave and dont even bother to inform the customer in advance that the naan is going to be prepacked .
Great Dosa, Tea and excellent service!
Very delicious food specially lamb curry very good service
Craving the Best Indian food This is the place u need to be......

Ordered chicken biryani. Shoutout to the chef. The taste was very good. Perfect spice level with perfect taste. Totally recommend.
Vegetarian options: Had ordered catering for 40 people and food was really good. Samosa chat and Jeera rice were the best. Would definitely recommend!! Thank you Kalyan and Bhaskar. Food

Love the dosas here. I eat here regularly and love how the team always welcomes you with a smile.
Chicken Manchurian was amazing, so many beautiful, subtle spices with just the right amount of heat!!
The service they gave me is awesome. I love the food its tempting. Please visit this restaurant.
Mind blowing food
Ethereal Masala tea, i am for real. And the service is just as sweet.
Vegetarian options: poori&chana Food
Had poori masala, the taste was really good and the service is awesome
Food is delicious.
Great food and Value for money!!
My food cravings are always satisfied! Great Dal Makhani!
I really enjoy this place. A great variety of delicious options at an exceptionally reasonable price. I have yet to have a disappointing meal here and I will keep coming back for more. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a reasonable option at an extremely reasonable price. Most recently, we got the pakoras, manchurian veg, dal fry, and roti and it came to around 35 dollars tax inclusive. All of it was delicious and I already cant wait to do it again. Vegetarian options: Lots of great veggie options. Definitely recommend for vegans and vegetarians.
Typical indian joint. Stinky and unhygienic.
Great food. Great service. Do try their Medu Vada and uthappam
Vegetarian options: Great restaurant with decent prices. Best Rasam in town. Good collection of north and south indian dishes. Everytime i miss home food, i come here, and get satisfied. The food is fresh, made with love, its not food, its soul food. Thanks hastag! Food
The restaurant s food is sooo yummy!!! You should try
Had steaming hot Vada for breakfast! Purely authentic South Indian breakfast!
Amazing food
Amazing dosa, I tried. The best dosa in town. I recommend everyone, give it a try. Food
Great food and hospitality!!
I had podi dosa, it was nice.
Worst customer service.
Good food and great customer service! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Food : 4/5 |
Nice poori. Awesome paratha. Green Chuttney was just another level. A bit slow in service which is understandable but worth the wait.
Im generally generous with reviews but this was the worst place Ive been to. I definitely do NOT recommend this place. Very unhygienic disgusting place with terrible food taste. I had ordered fried rice from here. Terrible experience with the so called fried rice containing no vegetables other than some sprinkled pieces of cabbage. Insane amount of red chilli powder with no flavour that caused severe stomach upset. Spicy food is different. These people dont know how to cook flavourful spicy food. Takes over 45 mins to serve a plate of mirchi bajjis and onion bajjis. I understand there was a rush which is why we waited patiently. It definitely wasnt worth the wait. After the long wait what was served was cold and lacked taste. The bhajji batter had no salt, was too thick and cold.
Good helpful staff!!
I recently visited this restaurant and tried their idly and wada with chutney and sambar, and I was thoroughly impressed! The idly was soft, fluffy, and perfectly steamed, while the wada had the right amount of crispiness without being too oily. Both paired wonderfully with the chutney and sambar, which had a perfect balance of flavors. The chutney was not fresh bit cool but tasty, complementing the subtle flavors of the idly, while the sambar had a rich, hearty taste with just the right amount of spice. Overall, it was a delightful South Indian dish that was both satisfying and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic idly and wada!
Great food Try the noodles Love it Food : 5/5
Great taste !! There noodles is a must try :)
Worst food
Great food with delightful service 100% recommended Food
Thoroughly enjoyed the South Indian dishes for breakfast . Masala chai is recommended for all the chai lovers. Will definitely come back again.
Good South Indian breakfast service was v fast & the staff was very helpful & supportive to bring the order. Loved the masala chai
Had a morning breakfast poori. The taste so good with channa masala. Its so quiet and calm ambience. Worth trying it
Best indian taste food in toronto
Best indian food in town
Tasty masala dosa.
This is my go to place for indian tasty food. This place just makes my most favorite chicken noodles and fried rice just like inidan street food. Thank you for always making the spice level just way I order and make it so yummy!!!
Tiffins were good specially poori and Pongal try it
Really good breakfast place that I happen to stumble upon thanks to my Service Ontario visit. I d recommend the idli and paratha.
The new boy who is taking order is very rude he wouldn t let me think of the order properly
Ordered chat papdi and there is no sauce in it. Its so dry. Too bad
I tried their mini Thali , no taste at all. Just waste the money. Not recommended
Excellent service and food like home cooked.
Really loved the food especially the breakfast menu, excellent service Thank you very much. Definitely will be coming back Food
I recently dined at Hashtag, a restaurant serving authentic South Indian home-like food, and it was a delightful experience. The menu offers a variety of classic South Indian dishes, all prepared with care and rich flavors. The crispy dosas and flavorful sambar were particularly impressive. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. If youre seeking delicious, homely South Indian cuisine, Hashtag is a must-visit!
Stale and tasteless food ! Tried seeing Indian cuisine but it was not worth it . Would never recommend to anyone. Stay away !
Had an amazing experience at #IndianRestaurant! The Idlis were soft and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, while the onion dosa was perfectly crispy. The chef deserves special praise for crafting such authentic South Indian flavors. Highly recommended!
Ordered food for someone via Uber Eats. In error they forgot one item. The staff were kind enough to rectify this and went over and beyond to help. Food was also delicious from what i was told. We will definitely order again from them.
Good foodd!!!!
Gand faad Chinese must try ask them spicy if that s what you are looking for Perfect for street food Chinese Food
The best Indian restaurant i have ever visited in toronto....The staff members are so friendly and the taste of the food is ultimately the best...
I tried Paneer schezwan noodles and its blast of flavours. If you are someone who loves indochinese noodles this is your place. They offer online and dine in. All the recommendations by Prem were amazing. Non veg was also superb.
Best dosa in GTA
Food is very delicious here... thanks prem bhai..
Best food and best staff , veg items like dal makhni and panner butter masala with garlic naan are best to eat . Thank you prem bhai for your excellent service.
So good qualty of food with pure indian taste , service of prem bhai is best . Thank you guyz for good experience.
Food was amazing.
food was too much tasty and the employee working here are too nice. Great customer service. Recommended for best indian food.
Perfect taste of Indian food.....must recommended dal makhni.....for Chinese lovers must try chicken schezwan noodles....awesome taste.... Must recommended indian restaurant Food
Plastic in food! I always order food from this place, it s decent enough to fill your stomach. Today I ordered veg thali from Uber eats and got saag paneer and it was very very salty. The pulses gravy was good, so I ate it. Towards the end I found a piece of PLASTIC in the gravy. I don t understand how the restaurant is serving food without being mindful of safety standards. Please do not serve such food. When I called the restaurant to tell them about this, I spoke to a girl abd asked who the manager is, she told me he is away for the day. A boy then took the call and upon asking if he was the manager he agreed to it stating he just came in.
Havent tried everything but I found their chicken rolls to be super greasy. Good tasting tho.
Amazing restaurant! I order here almost every 2 weeks! The food and portions are amazing! I love the chicken 65 biryani combo and the butter chicken! Tried the chicken chettinad recently and that too was amazing! Thank you Hastag India keep doing what you re doing!
The food was too salty and uncooked...
This is not how you run your business. #hastag worst.
Great place for authentic South Indian street food. Must try.
great south indian street food. everything we ordered is soo delicious. Must try place for telugu ppl
Had mirchi bajji, ghee masala dosa its absolutely fantastic and their refreshment Badam milk is a must try
Truly one of the best places for Indian food in this area, not only are they consistent with their orders but the portioning and quality of food leaves a lot to desire ordering from other places. The combo options are also such a great way to save money while still getting a variety of food. My boyfriend and I always order from Hashtag India to the point where we forgot to make an adjustment, when I called the manager had already acknowledged our order and remembered the adjustment. You cant ask for much more, they cover all the bases! Thank you to the team and the chefs :)
Dont order using the online ordering. It never works. Twice I have ordered and when I arrived at the restaurant they said they havent started making the order. Food was mediocre.
They gave me moong dal instead of chana curry what they claimed to give when I ordered and dal was also not upto the mark. The curry which I chose was good but tangyy, it seemed like they added only tomato purée in it. Not worth spending $16.
I recommend this place for evening snacks.
LOVE the food here! So tasty and flavourful!
Best place for snacks and specially the dum biryani is amazing.
Excellent taste. Must try paneer tikka biryani, better than paradise -Hyderabd
Me and my wife are in love with this place. Been visiting multiple times in a week. Food is great and the staff is really friendly and caring. They really take care of the food they are diahing out. Everything we ate was always tasty, fresh and piping hot. It has turned into our comfort eatery to go whenever we feel like eating out.
Had Chettinad chicken and roti the food was great enjoyed our lunch. We also had a little chat with the chef . He was very friendly and the food was served promptly.
Taste is delicious .and the service is osm
Heats Frozen Foods.. Taste Less food... Wastage of Money and Time.. Worse experienced Dont suggested
Did not like the food at all, it s over salty. They have no idea how Indian food/curries are made. We cook better food at home.
We were served hot soup in paper bowl and given plastic spoons! There was no tray too, She even spilled the soup on my friends hands. Not a place to dine in. Taste was below average.
It takes too long to prepare an order. Never ever go there
Vegetarian options: Onion Mirchi bajji Food
nice Veg Biryani, affordable Price.
Top-notch biryani, dosa perfection! Culinary heaven awaits at this #IndianRestaurant.
Disgusting food and very poor service
Ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Taste is delicious. Felt like true South India fast food centre style with 4 spice levels availability. Well recommended for fried rice lovers. Also tried almond milk, its quite expensive and too sweet
If you are missing the taste of home, drop by :)
Authentic Indian taste. Ordered masala dosa and tea. Service time could be improved but taste compensated for it. Would definitely visit again if in the neighbourhood
I ordered food for 25 people snacks, veg and non veg .It was custom order , food was so delicious , good quality ,and quantity . Friendly service and delivered on time . Highly recommend hashtag for hyderabadi snacks and non veg dishes , will order/ visit more often.
Had the butter chicken roti. You get two neatly wrapped rotis filled with chicken - no fillers and fresh chopped onions for crunch. Wish it was closer to my home, but yum yum. As for photo... not much left... Parking: Lots of free parking.
Chai, Dosa & chicken shezwan noodles are specifically very good. Dum Biryani is Amazing.
services are poor
Food was nice, like proper giving homely food vibes. Tried idli sambhar and dosa, reminded me of proper south indian taste.
I don t have words for this location. I wish I was able to 0 star to them. I have no idea why they are even open. I went to this place on Christmas Eve to get some takeout. I bought paneer and daal makhni with naan. Came home and my son tried one bite and he threw up. My husband was very disappointed with the food. No one liked this food. Naan they gave us was frozen naan that you could buy from any grocery store. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are selling frozen curries and naan. It is disgusting . Please don t go if you don t want to waste your money and time. Service was awful. We waited for 40+ minutes to take this frozen food. They are very rude and have no customer service. I wish food inspector visit to this place and check them.
The saag chicken at Hashtag India was outstanding! The tender chicken cooked in the rich, creamy spinach sauce was a flavor explosion. The spices were perfectly balanced, creating a dish that was both comforting and deeply satisfying. A must-try for anyone visiting this restaurant! South India Chef Pavan is amazing! His dishes are incredibly well-crafted and flavorful. You can tell he puts a lot of thought and care into each dish. Eating his food is always a memorable experience, and you can taste his passion for cooking in every bite.
Waiting time is horrible !! I ll never suggest this restaurant !!
Absolutely loved the Indian lamb biryani at Hashtag India. The tender lamb mixed with the aromatic spices and perfectly cooked rice was fantastic. It had just the right amount of flavor without being overwhelming. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian dish.
First-time visit to Hashtag India and fell in love with their Gobi Manchurian! The flavors took me back to Hyderabad. Cant wait to return with friends. Huge thanks to the chef for an unforgettable experience.
Spice lovers, You should definitely try the mirchi bajji
My friends and I had the Sankranti Aritaaku Bhojanam (Thali). The taste was great, and so was Mr Kalyans hospitality! Ate to our hearts (and tummies) content. Looking forward to try out the other popular items.
The food is excellent, the portions are generous, the menu is wide-ranging, and the price is right. Good homemade cooking to suit all budgets. A small place bustling with activity. Takeouts are popular with very limited seating. Home and office deliveries on weekdays are available for a modest fee of $2.50 depending on your postal code. Congratulations to Kalyam, Hashtags dedicated owner, and his hardworking staff for their fine service. Love, love the food! Highly recommend. 5 stars all the way ***** Vegetarian options: Much of the menu is vegetarian. Parking: Because the restaurant is located in a small, busy strip mall, parking is free but limited.
Waiting time is more. Hyderabad dum briyani having more chilli paste..there is no swamarma Food
Affordable & medium tasty dishes.
We had gone on a rainy Saturday afternoon to buy Indian grocery and noticed this restaurant. The rainy weather invited us to eat the spicy mirch bhaji (chilli fritters), we also had a good veg fried rice. The fried was good but not much vegetables found. Overall worth the dollars spent. Will visit them again when I go around that area.
Delicious food, great flavours. Very nice, polite staff. I like the lamb biryani. Best eaten on location (there is a park bench out front). Very spicy baseline. Mild = very spicy in most restaurants. Order accordingly.
Amazing food and customer service.. This place is our new favourite. Thank you!
The food is good. It is a more a take out place hence the ambience is not great. Would recommend for good Desi food. Vegetarian options: Have good veg options Parking: Open parking lot.
Delicious food ,Nice place and friendly staff..
The Punjabi cashier needs to be disciplined. Ordered 2 dishes and the spice level when given the option we said spicy as we normally order it spicy and its always pleasant. This is it was insanely hot and all we could taste was chilly powder. This is ironically as after placing the order the Punjabi server went in the chicken and kept telling keep adding chilli This is extremely dangerous and a potential violation. As a frequent customer This was a pathetic experience.
Ive been ordering here for months. The food is excellent especially chicken noodles and biryani, so is the customer service! Overall a great experience....
Ambience and the service is very good and especially the lamb biryani is lit.Give it a try guys
I would give zero stars Usually I use to order over here every time from past 2 months the chef had changed when we ask for chicken noodles it won t be cooked complete dry and if you order chicken manchurian they give chicken curry who would eat instead of munchurian save your money guys too worst even the biryani s better to update a new chef
I only bought an order of dall fry priced $8.99. I Would definitely recommend the restaurant to use different packaging. Because on my way home it spilled. The container is good for rice and other dry goods. The portion was not satisfactory for the price, however the front counter lady was nice enough to take $9 cash as its all I had - not sure if tax is added otherwise. The taste was average and normal. It was given nice and hot in temperature.
Kind of okay okay restaurant. No dine in available
Good variety, reasonable price and quick service
Delicious meal and easy to order online from their website. Friendly service. Highly recommend
Worth to visit the store and quality of the food is good.
We ate the cut chilli bajji, pakoras and onions. All of them highly recommended.
We ordered takeout. It was ready in about 30 minutes. SO GOOD! I m so often disappointed by indian but this one was excellent! Even the mild was almost too spicy for us but it was manageable and didn t take away from the taste. It just meant more raitha, naan and rice. We ordered the paneer tikka biryani and it was probably our favourite. The butter chicken was so flavourful. The naan was so moist but a bit greasy. This didn t bother us. It probably made it take better.
Vegetarian options: Eggs fri rice Recommended dishes
I m super impressed with taste and service of food I ordered Panner tikka masala , garlic naan and mirchi bhaji .. it was yummy felt like home
I bought samosa chat .. totally waste of money . There were no samosa in chaat nd didnt taste good at all . Never buying again
The chicken tikka biryani that was served was in my opinion pretty mid. The food was a bit bland and the spices was a bit too overpowering, so much so that it got in the way of me enjoying the chicken. Not to be be mean, but my mom cooks more flavourful biryani at a much higher quality and lesser cost for ingredients. But if you just want somewhere quickly to eat biryani, you might like this place better than me.
Had non veg thali .. the food was good. not a place to sit and eat.not friendly .i hope they improve. their service and ambience
I have been ordering take out from here for a long time, and its time for a review! I crave their masala dosa, love the samosas, and the chicken and mutton Biryani is great (huge portions). Everything is very flavorful and well packed, and there is leftovers for more than one meal.
Enjoyed their samosas, onion pakoras and mirchi bhajiyas!
Taking a few stars off because they gave me the wrong order. I asked for Chili chicken and they gave me chilli paneer? It was good but I was really looking forward to having chicken. The chaat papri had no papri in it , so I guess it is what it is. Won t be back
Worst food I ever eat in my life.dum biriyani it has too much oil it was soft and oily its like stored food.
I like food quality and quantity too and price are good too
Veg thali - ordered couple of times. Good food for the price. Quick takeout.
The menu is authentic and diverse. You can get anything Indian cuisine here. While the food I had, which was a standard order of butter chicken, lamb saag etc, was very spicy hot. I must have misunderstood since I ordered everything regular and the spice was very high. Everything was spicy, even the rice. I would order again, but please keep in mind that Regular is this locations version of hot or high spice (They even have higher haha, I wouldnt last). I also think the food, especially butter chicken, is better mild. As a break from the spice / break up the heat. Other than my own weakness to spice and misunderstanding everything was really good. I suggest adding bell peppers or another indicator to show spice, as to me regular meant medium or low heat. Make sure to ask for naan as it doesnt come with the dishes. Vegetarian options: Full options in the menu, is vegetarian friendly. Dietary restrictions: Regular is very hot, if you want low spice then Mild heat is suggested.
First time ordering from here , ordered the chilli chicken. Not recommended, it definitely didn t look like chilli chicken. It looked like over cooked chicken wrapped with chilli flakes , there was no onion, peppers in it , just chicken in it and it was cold . They put tandoori chicken and call it chilli chicken .
Ordered via door dash. Small portion of veg thali x 2 plates 30$. One paper kind roti split in 4 portions. Paneer butter masala was very very sour. Onion bhaji burnt. Never ordering again.
I had fried rice from here and now I m in hospital, had a food poisoning
The food was really good! I ordered Mirchi Bajji, Gobi Manchurian, Egg Biryani, and Punugullu an authentic Indian style. It had that amazing Indian taste. Definitely give it a try if youre missing Indian food. The only downside is that you have to wait an hour so to receive the food during the weekends not sure of the other days but trust me, its worth the wait.
Ordered chicken biryani combo thrice.. first time it is ok, second time its bad and third time its tasted bad and chicken smell like rotten... service guy is very rude.. and wantedly Missed gulab jamun twice. After asking upon it, he gave it, and more over, they gave no salan at all
Ordered veg thali. Food quality was poor. The roti was uncooked and the Naan was not fresh made. It was the one available at Walmart.
Cut mirchi and egg bonda are a must try
Best vegetable pakoras. Need to improvise on sambar. Vegetarian options: Good masala dosa and veggie pakoras. Sambar could be better. Food : 4/5 |
Worst food ever i asked for kadai paneer they gave me shahi paneer and frozen garlic naan.
Ordered food online many times , they never disappointed. Taste, quantity, and presentation are really good. Items that I tried from the menu were delicious and fresh!
I utilize the Tiffin Service, the food is freshly made and delivered daily. Food is good and healthy. I recommend.
It takes too long for single small order. They should work on speed. I ll prefer going to other place. Never, will come here again
This is the third time Im having food here. Its really tasty. And I love the spicy one that I take. Both chicken and mutton biryani is good. My daughter took dosa today and it was also good.
We usually have chicken fried rice and chicken dum biriyani here. Both are fantastic. Chicken fried rice will taste like chennai style chicken fried rice which I liked the most.
The food was awesome but I had wait for around a hour. The service was poor but the Biryani I ordered for 2 person combo was really great.
Great Indian Food. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was prompt and efficient. The food was delicious and amazing, It has this rich flavour in it and the portions were generous. I have been here more than a dozen times, every time this place makes me come back again. The prices were reasonable and the quality and quantity of the food is good. I highly recommend #Hashtag India to anyone who loves authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. It is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Toronto.
