The traditional flavors of Thailand appear at this casual chain dining room with a funky vibe.
I've tried the Fried Rice and the Pad Thai Noodles and it was amazing! Totally recommend this place. The drinks are also tasty, I've ordered the Ice Tea with Condensed Milk and the sweetness was perfectly balanced. I would definitely come back to try more dishes. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Thanks The only recommendation would be lowering the music volume, especially when the place is full because it causes everyone to raise the tone of their voices and it gets very noisy and not really comfortable.
What a gem!!! Cute little place with a gigantic flavour. We had the Pad See Ewe and the Pad Kra Prao Kai Dao. Both were fantastic!! Generous portions but more importantly, the beautiful flavour. We had left over so looking forward to tomorrow. We hadn’t had Thai food in a long time and this was a pleasant reunion. Can’t wait to go back to try other dishes. Service with a smile! Highly recommended!!
I’ve tried authentic Thai but for the price point, I think going to Pai is way more worth it… Papaya Salad is ok, could be better because the salted crab is not fresh, it has a very fishy tastes as compared to the ones that we tried before. The chicken satay and the Basil Crispy Pork with Rice are both good though :)
I have ordered this restaurant couple times, and I always have Tom yum soup and pad Thai, I have no idea why they use the vegetable that are not fresh. And the soup is not like the one I had… really disappointing to the restaurant and skip the dishes
Very unique atmosphere. The Khao Soi poutine is very flavorful, with fries, cheese curds and braised beef. Chicken Pad Thai is just the right taste, not tomato taste but with tamirand. TomKha coconut soup was very yummy. Always a good meal here!
Visited this place a few times during lunch with coworkers. Although the location is small they were still able to accomodate our larger group of 14+ people. They have very good lunch special options at a great price of $13 and you get hot and sour soup along with whatever you order. I ordered the lunch special Satay Chicken with Mango salad both times. Comes with soup, spring rolls and rice. Great taste and very filling. Despite our very large group, the food came very quickly, within 10min. So this is a great spot even if you are limited for time. Each time we've come service was friendly and always attentive. They even willingly offered to split the bill for us. Would definately continue to go back to this place when craving Thai food at work.
Came here on a cold winter day with friends and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken pad Thai was quite good, but the green curry was much better! The green curry was creamy, right amount of spice, and very flavorful. Definitely would come back and suggest to others.
I'm giving it a 3-star rating instead of 4 because of its milk tea, which was too sweet and overpowered the tea flavor. The green curry was also a little too sweet for my taste, but my friends enjoyed it a lot. My favorites were the Tom Yum and Pad Thai. I was glad that the Tom Yum was spicy and sour enough to satisfy my craving for authentic Thai food. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave us a 15% discount for paying in cash. The total bill came to 23 CAD/person including tax. It was definitely worth it!
Ordered tonight for the last time tonight. An hour delayed? It s two stir fry items This restaurant has progressively gotten worse in the 8 years we ve lived in the area. Portions got smaller, prices went up and takeout/delivery service has gone down. In the past 2 years, we ve had issues with delayed orders, wrong items and inconsistency in the quality of what was delivered. Most unfortunate as this used to be one of our favourites in the neighbourhood.
Tried almost everything on the menu. All their dishes pack a punch of flavour! My favourites are the khao soi noodles, khao soi poutine, pad kee mao with beef and their delicious mini spring rolls! Used to love their fried morning glory, but find that this has become a bit on the greasy side. Usually gets pretty busy during the dinner rush, but the service is still attentive and quick in my experience.
Great food and service and beautiful presentation of the dishes. We would love to visit again!
Lychee and Strawberry mojito were very delicious. Tom yum is also tasty
Cant go wrong with this place! Panang curry is amazing. Curry puffs are delicious. Pad thai is great. Food : 5/5
This restaurant would not allow me to order takeout. They told me to go order online, so I left.
Refused to serve take-out for some reason. Wasted a trip over.
Amazing food here, top quality fresh tasty. I tried the braised beef stir fry I think its called Basil beef on the menu. 1000% recommend
I haven t dined in, just regularly order chicken green curry from Uber eats and absolutely love it. So yummmm
I am changing my review to one star from 5 stars. I used to come here at least weekly, often more than once a week, about 6 years ago. It had great value lunch specials and good portions for dinner too. In the past year or two, the portions keep getting smaller. The lunch portion I ordered last week was a joke: it has 1.5 pieces of tofu in it and was the size of the palm of my hand but prices have increased more than 50%. I understand that costs have gone up everywhere but the portions have shrunk too much. I used to sometimes have some leftover from the lunch special but last time I was left hungry. I m sorry to say this is no longer my favourite uptown Thai spot. Dining in is always stressful too because the seating is cramped and parking is a mess, but the food used to be worth it. Sad
I ordered 2 chicken pathai combos. No chopsticks or forks. Nothing. I had to eat with my hands. And the soup was sour and spicy, like chili sauce. Crazy.
We came here for lunch and everything was amazing, we ordered padthai and green curry, food was good and the portion is big, service is fast and friendly. Will definitely come back
My favorite Thai spot in North York area, the price is changing a lot since last time I came, but they offer 15% off if you pay by cash
i ordered take-out- great value, i got a cash discount.. staff are so polite and friendly.. -Pad See Ewe Paya Thai- the broccoli was firm and crunchy, not wilted and soggy...veggie fresh rolls you can slice them in half and share with more people- theyre stuffed pretty good . ... green curry was very rich- eat lots of rice with it to reduce the richness. ... p.s. dont get the different rices mixed up if you do take out.. they are packaged differently for different meals. .. you should order or make extra rice for yourself at home as the meals will go farther, plus you might need it anyway as the items can be quite rich .. God bless!
Really good choice for this area
I ordered Basil Crispy Belly Pork today. The pork was hard, dry and smelly. They obviously reused previously served old pork meat. I dont usually waste food but I threw all of it in the garbage.
I ve dined here some years ago but this is the first time leaving a review after a recent Uber eats order from Eat BBK. I ordered khao soi which is best enjoyed right away but I took a chance since the distance the noodle had to travel wasn t that long. I was impressed with how they packaged everything. Soup didn t spill and the crispy noodle stayed crispy! The kitchen paid attention to my very very very mild request as well. The khao soi was delicious. The broth was creamy and full of flavour and veggies were fresh. I d love to try another bowl at the restaurant and I m sure it ll be even better.
Hmm, shrinkflation happening at this place. Dishes are less saucy then before and substantially smaller with higher price. Cmon folks $20 for noodle dish with few pieces of chicken.
I ve gone to this location many times. The food is absolutely delicious. Favourite dish is pad see ewe.
Always love the food here. And will always come back. I ll definitely recommend it to friends.
WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Pathetic service and rude staff. I wouldn t recommend this place. We arrived here at 10 p.m. The staff was in such a hurry that as soon as our order was served, they gave us a check and asked us to pay right away. We refused to give them any tips, and one of the servers was literally pushing us to pay a service tip. This is horrendous. You shouldn t have allowed us to sit when you were getting close at 11. When we exited the place, one guy from the staff kept staring and started cursing us. We felt threatened and rushed from the spot quickly.
Terrible service. The staff were extremely rude. They brought the bill while we were still eating and asked for a tip at the same time. They rushed us because it was close to closing time. If you cant provide proper service, why accept customers? When we gave this feedback to the restaurant, they responded rudely. After we left and were sitting in our car outside, a staff member came to the gate, stared at us, and shouted insults. If the restaurant owner or higher management sees this post, please take action against this behavior. This incident occurred on Friday, July 19th, close to closing time. Ive never had such an experience anywhere in Canada when dining close to closing time. I will never recommend this branch to anyone. Absolutely pathetic service!
One of the best Thai food in North York. We went there every time visiting friends in North York. So tasty and reasonable price
Terrible food poisoning from this place. It was from the chicken. Very nice people but no food safe at all. Their kitchen habits are poor and the back door says it all
This restaurant has employees who do not respect people. If you go as a customer to receive an order, expect disrespect and rudeness from the employees of this restaurant. Meanwhile, I was not satisfied with the service of this restaurant and the quality of the food was low. In response to your comment: Congratulations on having a lying employee. Unfortunately, your employee rudely asked me to hang up your phone and told me that you are bothering our customers. You should teach your employees courtesy and how to deal with customers from the beginning.as you maybe know in Canada, the first and most important thing is customer service.
Green curry was great! Perfect temperature too, so I could dig in right away. Very reasonable portion size and price for lunch
Got the Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Pad See ew. They both tasted great and good sized portions. Will go back and dine-in next time!
Whether you re a Thai food aficionado or a curious foodie looking to explore new flavors, EAT BKK Thai Kitchen is a culinary haven. Don t miss out on this delightful fusion of tradition and innovation. Bon appétit!
I can see why this place was very busy when we walked in. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our orders were taken right away and food and drinks were served within 10 minutes. Delicious, really good pricing, really nice staff. Will definitely be back.
Tasty food, friendly service. Orange Matcha was drink was delicious.
Won t return. Both of us had to run to the washroom within a few hours after the dinner, so something wasn t right. Overall food is home cooking level tasty but very oily. I think honesty is something the restaurant can work on. We ordered a crispy morning glory but being served with crispy Chinese broccoli. It was not a big deal were the staff told us it wasn t the season for morning glory yet, but the staff insisted it was morning glory. Also ordered Pad Gra Prow and didn t taste or see any type of basil in there. When asked the staff, he insisted it was cooked with basil just didn t put too much, if they put too much it would turn bitter. As far as I know, neither Thai basil nor holy basil offers bitter taste. Holy basil is nearly impossible to find in Toronto, I wouldn t mind seeing and tasting some cooked basil in there as that s the whole point of that dish and the name suggested. Grilled chicken - the meat is not freshly cooked. Mango sticky rice - too much condensed milk in the coconut slurry. Personally prefer a coconut flavour over a milky flavour. Parking: Limited spaces in front of the shops
Had the chicken pad Thai and red curry. Good portions. Red curry was amazing. Great service and fast.
Typically love the food from other locations. Although at this location their service is god awful. I placed an Uber eats order which they didn t include the ability to comment on dietary restrictions (every other location does let you). Within two minutes of placing the order I called the restaurant and was told they would not accommodate my dietary restrictions because the food was already made. They then told me to call Uber eats support who called the restaurant to cancel the order and they still refused.
If you re looking to get microwaved food that s not from your house, you can come here. Everything was bland, somehow extremely hot and cold at the same time. Like you can go to Thai express and somehow that would taste better than this why open a restaurant when you re going to microwave everything. Also extremely slow service when there s only one other table
Nice Green curry and coconut sticky rice icecream. Pad Thai was okay. The location is smaller compared to other outlets but the service is prompt.
Waiter was really nice - however assumed we would only have one bill and didnt seem to want to do separate them ( not really an issue, but for some people this could be ) Food was enjoyable! ( not the best thai I have had however ) The spicy wasnt really spicy for the Larb ( mom says ) & it was nice but a bit dry. Her friend enjoyed her veggie plate and tofu. Pad thai was enjoyable, but had a hard time diggesting it for some reason. The pineapple/lychee drink ( non alcohol ) with mint was nice. Shrimp dumpling soup the broth was nice Music wasnt too loud Prices are resonable. $100 approx for 3 2 drinks, 2 soups, 3 meals Felt like going into a sleep coma after my plate which normally would be able to have room for desert, so I feel like my portion was big ( totally fine, not an issue- could bring leftovers, if I lived in TO ) but only visiting, so couldnt.
Lunch special was affordable and most importantly great taste!!
Food just ok, too sweet. Terrible service, won t go again for sure!
Very nice Thai restaurant with authentic Thai cuisine. Recommended: - Chicken stuffed topioca - Chicken satay - Red chicken curry with rice - Mango salad - Deep fried chicken skin - Spicy stir fried noodles with crispy pork belly - Mango with coconut sticky rice (dessert) - Kanom tuay (dessert)
My gf and I were on the hunt for some thai food in North York after a summer yelp event nearby. And would you happen to know, we stumbled on the best thai place in North York! Tucked away next to Hero Burger at Yonge and Sheppard in a tiny unit which stretches back. You walk in and the ventilation is not great haha (its quite humid). The drinks are definitely way more worth it in terms of value compared to its other counterparts (theyre big). I ordered a thai iced green tea and it was very refreshing! Not sweet at all. Crispy pork pad thai: Its not often you find crispy pork belly as an option for pad thai at places, so we opted to try. The pork was crackly, succulent and fatty. The noodles were nice and strong on the tamarind flavour. This was a great pad thai. Si Lom Thai Bistro (downtown) is the only other thai place I know that has a unique protein option (soft shell crab) for pad thai. Khao soi w/ chicken (mild): The broth is really, really good here. That being said, does it beat the broth at Pai Northern Thai (downtown) or Isaan Ders in Richmond Hill? Nahh. One tier below hehe. They put a lot of chicken in it though. So thats bonus marks. Service was excellent! There was always at least 1 server wandering around to collect empty plates/dishes and provide extra utensils/napkins. The other thing I absolutely loved was 15% CASH DISCOUNT. Bruhhhh thats so good. I think Ill pay a visit to the other BKK Thai location next time as their menu seems like it has a lil couple, extra items on it that this location doesnt have.
It tastes good, but when I placed an order on Uber eats and asked for utensil, they didnt give me The lid of the green curry was not properly closed and all the soup was spilled when Uber delivered it to my home. I ordered the green curry again and it was still spilled. I don t think it was the Uber driver s fault.
BKK never fails to impress. I ve been to the other location at Yonge/Sheppard. Food is terrific and so is the service!
Chicken Pad Thai was delicious
we bought the spring rolls, pad Thai (beef) and Pad Thai shrimp for takeout for lunch. it tasted okay, but not the cleanest place as we had to run to the bathroom right after.
great food and good portions. We got take out but I really digged the decor when I went inside to grab our food. Will be back to try in-person. The parking spaces in in the plaza are few and really tiny. Gave up on trying to park there and found street parking nearby instead.
Another great Thai spot in the city! Ordered their fresh rolls, spring rolls, pad thai, and khao soi Everything was delicious! - Good/ strong flavours - Great portions - The khao soi was rich and creamy - The tofu in the pas thai had a really good texture They also have a cash discount so bring some cash if you plan to try it out!
Always great food. But it s half of what it was a year ago.
Great service and food. Went with a small work team and it was a good experience. Will be back!
This restaurant is DIVINE!!! We order from here all the time and the food is always amazing. They pack flavor, value, and big portions for all their delivery all the time and I am just such a fan of their food. Thank you so much Eat BKK! Y all are amazing!
Very attentive service. I ordered the green curry and pad thai, each with chicken. The waitress was accommodating of gluten allergy, and they are able to do the pad thai as well as a few of the curries gluten free. I also appreciated that they added a note on the order that it was gluten free. I think the green curry was a little watery and not spicy, but the bamboo shoots were a nice touch. I would say this was a gluten safe lunch! Cash discount 15% Dietary restrictions: Note that the lunch specials are not able to be done gluten free, I assume because of the add ons.
I ordered one of the lunch specials, the basil pork belly. Was quite disappointed that the amount of food you get is like an appetizer size box. 5-6 small cubes of pork belly, white rice and a sprinkle of a 4-5 green beans and thinly sliced peppers in total. For $13 + tax you can find another lunch option. Not worth it.
I love their pad Thai
Have ordered from here many times and food has been very good. Unfortunately, the beef did not taste or look like beef with our most recent order. Horrible texture and unappetizing. Disappointing.
Tom Yum soup was really good and enjoyed the Pad Thai
Super tasty and genuinely nice staff. My husband and I have gone here several times and have never let hungry or disappointed. Generous potions and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend.
We ordered the coconut based soup, pad thai and curry all in veggies and tofu and they are delicious. Highly recommend the coconut soup.
Love this place. The best Thai food ever!
I love this place, food is really good and the price also. The servers and kitchen staff are very friendly and attention.
This is one of my go to spots for takeout. My favorites are pad see ew and the spicy chicken wings appetizer. Love the service and food. I don t usually dine in because of lacking of parking.
Tasty Thai food with great customer service thanks for the fresh rolls~
Small place serving excellent Thai food.
A hidden treasure. Our food came a little while after ordering. Everything was delicious. We had the Khao Soi with beef, Pad Thai and started with the Morning glory (dine in only). Im looking forward to going back again soon.
The food is amazing!
I recently had the opportunity to dine at Eat BKK, a Thai restaurant located at Yonge and Sheppard in Toronto, and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The restaurant is known for its authentic Thai cuisine and excellent service, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The first thing that struck me about Eat BKK was the delicious aroma of Thai spices as soon as I walked in the door. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with traditional Thai decor and a cozy, intimate setting. The menu at Eat BKK is extensive, with a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes to choose from. I decided to start with the tom yum soup, which was absolutely delicious. It had the perfect balance of sour, spicy and sweet, and the flavors were incredibly complex and well-balanced. For my main course, I ordered the pad Thai, which was also fantastic. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the flavors were spot on. The dish was also very generous in portion size, and I was really impressed by how much food I got for the price. The service at Eat BKK was also top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to offer suggestions and answer any questions I had about the menu. They were also very accommodating to cater to any dietary restrictions I had. Overall, I highly recommend Eat BKK for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Thai dining experience. The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is top-notch. The restaurant is conveniently located at Yonge and Sheppard and the ambiance is cozy and intimate. I will definitely be back!
Did take out from Eat BKK for a few times so had to go in and gran the Crispy Pork Pad Thai special which is one of my go to dishes. They could turn up the spice levels a lot more on the Pad See Ew we ordered that was the only miss. Chicken Wings Zaab was a decent appetitizer for flavor!
nice
1st time trying this place during lunch. Had late lunch n restaurant still full. Was greeted by two amazing and smiling wait staff. Added nicely to the restaurant coziness. Yellow curry was amazing n had right balance of Thai herbs which is hard to find in Toronto. Each lunch special also came with Thai spring roll...which came hot n freshly fried. Luv hot food! Slightly surprised with crispy pork as it was cooked in heavy sauce so the pork wasnt crispy but since sauce was good, dish was ok at the end. What was unexpected was the hot & sour soup which had enormous amount of black pepper. Was hoping Thai soup so surprised with Chinese. Just a note that theres limited parking space (only 1 spot in front and 3 paid street parking on the south Street beside Hero burger) so easier to take public transit/walk. Parking: Only 1 spot in front of restaurant off busy Yonge Street. None at back. 3 paid Street parking South of restaurant.
Very THAI food!
It is a very cozy nice restaurant, if you like thai, you should try them. I got Khao soi, which is fried noodle and chicken within a coconut milk soup with vegetables as garnish. It was perfect! It would be better if the owner renovate the place, everything looked dull.
I picked up dinner on my way home after a long week. Ordered online and the food was ready when their site said it would be. Grabbed the order to try to beat the snow, however didn t check to see it the order was complete. Upon arriving home, we noticed one dish missing. We called and at the same time , they were calling us to advise that a dish was left behind. (impressive) They had the dish delivered to our home free of charge and also gave us shrimp chips at no charge. Great customer Service. Will be back Parking: right on yonge street with parking
Great Thai food and must try
A variety of food experiences. Morning Glory fried delicacies
This is my familys favourite local Thai place! We often order delivery from BKK Thai when we have friends or family over, and it is always a hit. The green curry and the pad thai are our usual orders, and they have lots of options for our vegetarian friends. The restaurant has a fun casual vibe for dining in as well.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to get takeout from. I rarely eat in because the parking is limited. My go to items are the pad see ew and their chicken wings.
Great Tom Yum! Perfect price, atmosphere and service.
Food was delicious! Served steaming hot, the service was fast and accurate. I ordered another dish to go after I finished my meal, to enjoy at home in a day or so
Excellent service, the waitress was super nice. She gave us plates for sharing and chopsticks before we asked. Ordered Pad Thai and chicken satay, tasty and portion was decent. Definitely will come back. Food
If you want to cheer your guests dont ever Order from this place
Most of the food was great! The pad that was a bit of a disappointment the service was amazing!
Little spot, delicious & authentic flavours
The waitress was eating the whole time and did not help us. We were the only table in the restaurant, she paid no attention to us and the food tasted bland. Please go to the other location. This one is not great
Friendly staff and a 15% discount when paying with cash. The food was great
This is an authentic Thai restaurant, the food is amazing and the staff are also. But no liquid there. The restaurant is quant but the food is why we go there. If youre in the area definitely check out this restaurant.
Not nearly as good as the Yonge and Steeles location. The pad Thai comes out a little bland, lacking flavor. In comparison the Steeles location is top notch. Would not recommend its pad thai based on my most recent visit.
Great thai food. I find the quality a bit inconsistent, but generally, when I get food there, it is pretty good. I usually get it for takeout.
My friends and I ordered takeout yesterday and we all agreed this is one of the best Thai restaurants we ve ever had. Also one of the very few places that actually gives rice with curry rather than charging extra. I got the Panang curry with bamboo shoots instead of bell peppers and WOW. Will 100% order again.
Authentic Thai food. Large portions. Delicious flavours. Reasonable prices.
Food was incredibly delicious! Highly recommend! We ordered the Pad See Ew noodles, taro fritters, and satay chicken skewers. The star of the meal was hands down the chicken skewers, the peanut sauce was soooo good! Customer service was great! The only thing with this location it gets pretty hot in there I think because its a small space.
It feels like eating in Thailand. If you miss Thai food, you must go here.
Always a good experience. We frequently go to this place. It has the best Thai food. Servers are nice too. Overall, a must visit place. Recommended to all Thai food lovers.
Edit: recently got rid of the tofu cubes in the pad Thai :( flavour is still good though. Go-to spot for Thai takeout! Best pad Thai in town!! Best items are the pad thai, (medium spice with crispy pork or mild, with chicken), green curry chicken, and red curry. 15% off cash discount, much cheaper than uber eats if possible.
The restaurant serves prepared foods. I ordered sticky rice and roasted chicken. However, the roasted chicken was cold and sticky rice was microwaved (the rice was in bag shape, and the inner was overheated and dry). The server apologized and serve a hot roasted chicken in 5 mins. I am pretty sure that they only have microwave ovens in their kitchen. If you want to eat prepared not fresh made food in a restaurant, then you should visit this place.
Had their catering from a business associate s office. The food is fresh and tasty.
over priced and they sat as down took foreever to ask for order than rushed us out and made me pay before I even got the food.....
There is limited parking in front of the store. Place has a nice ambiance and service was quick with good portions. Chicken pad thai was missing salt hence it missed the mark, chicken satay was average, crispy pork pad kaproa Kai down was good.
Khao Sao was flavourful and filling :)
I never expected to only get two pieces of tofu when you order their pad thai. Never going to order from Eat BKK again.
It wasnt the best experience, the food was okay, the behaviour of the servers were not appreciated. Starters arrived after the mains, especially when we requested for the starters to come first! My mother in law is in the country for the first time, and she tried to provide some feedback, when the server responded sarcastically with a thanks. Anyway, all in all not the best experience, and its safe to say that we will not be returning to this venue. Parking: Parking is available right in front of the restaurant, however theres only about 6 or so spots available for 3-5 shops.
Disappointed I was charged twice knowingly I canceled my Uber order online as it didnt confirm it went through online and so I called in my order to pick up and pay in person. I was told 15% off pick up, but no mention it was for cash only. The cashier charged me no issues there. I got a notification overnight that I was charged because they started the process to make my meal via Uber. Why charge me after the fact it was confirmed it was canceled by the cashier/Uber and I paid in person? Food is great but the greed isnt...
Great Thai food with a yummy street food menu. Friendly staff. Cant go wrong with this little cozy neighborhood Thai place Food : 5/5
I had lunch here with my friends. There was a lunch menu that included soup, spring rolls, and a main dish. The price was reasonable too. There were 3 of us, but we ordered 4 dishes. Pad thai, som tam, veggie fried rice, and soft shell crab curry. I have visited Thailand more than 4 times so I know its original taste. The fried rice and soft shell crab curry were very similar to local Thai flavors. The soft shell crab had a slightly fishy taste, but there was no major problem eating it. The pad thai noodles were a bit overcooked, which was disappointing, and the som tam was a little lacking as it didnt have cooked shrimp or cherry tomatoes. But this Thai food tastes great in Toronto. I would visit again and the staff were very friendly.
came here a few times. notable favourites pad see ew, pineapple fried rice and green curry. one time they gave me a milk tea for free waiting a bit longer for my food, they try to please and it shows.
Don t come to this location if you re looking for authentic taste and good service. Service was horrible on a Saturday afternoon and food was mediocre at best. Short few lines for the sake of future customers.
the food is not the best but doest the job. I wouldnt expect too much eating here. The Kaprow is not good The Khaosoi Putain is a better choice. The first time I had Lapr without Cabbage wrap Food
Food wait was fairly short, the food itself was very tasty, and they gave me extra green candies when I asked.
Spicy and delicious Thai cuisine! Nice and cosy dining interior!
I came to know of this place about a year ago, and it is delicious. However, I recently ordered uber eats and it was filled up to 2/3 of the container. Now, I understand the current economic situation calls for tough times, but this place is not cheap. I will not do take out/delivery again.
Don t question it, just eat here.
First time ordering from BKK last night. Superb! Layered flavours in every dish. Will definitely order again and recommend to friends!
Nice place, its a cosy atmosphere. Large portion of food and good food prices
The soup of the noodle not warm enough!! The quality of curry and spring roll just mediocre! Food
The pad thai was decent. Green curry was too runny, more like soup. Tom yum soup was too savoury and sour for my taste. Would better if it was diluted a little. My biggest gripe was the default 18% gratuities. The server didn t really do anything. One pad Thai, one green curry, 2 soups and one chips was $90+ for lunch. Is that normal nowadays? Probably my last time back there.
Worst pad kee mao with tofu, horible taste and there was no tofu added, mushrooms were stinking
This is one of my go to spots for good Thai food! I ordered the pad Thai and the green curry. Bother we re awesome!
good food. restaurant is very small.
My pad krapao was pretty underwhelming, seasoning is not correct and not enough basil. Pretty sure the eggs are premade as it tasted kinda cold. Wouldnt recommend this dish.
Dont have as many menu options as other locations.
The food was amazing! As someone with a dairy intolerance, I was happy to see how many dishes they had that I could eat. Ive already been several times and I look forward to trying more items. Their drinks are delightful too!
Best Pad Thai in the neighborhood, and maybe even beyond. We always stop by when running late to cook at home and have never been disappointed in our meals. Usually get Pad Thai or curries.
Authentic thai food
Not my kind of food but great service and nice cash discount.
I love the khao soi..
Delicious food. Reasonably priced.
Lunch special. Mango Salad and Chicken Satay Skewers for 12.95. Comes with extra sweet& sour soup and spring rolls. Very yummy food and good services. Large portion, couldnt finish and had to take out, good for next day lunch. Cash payment 15% off doesnt apply for lunch though.
Excellent customer service... food the best!!!
A small establishment located in North York. Very nice interior design, beautifully selected Thai photographs in the frames reminiscent of windows, and the bamboo light fixtures created a pleasant atmosphere. My choice was Khao Soi, it was very delicious, enriched with real Thai flavours. Really nice service, the food was served quickly.
Came in here based on someone elses google review and Im really glad I did! Service was friendly and super quick. I ordered the chicken satay & mango salad lunch special, which also came with hot and sour soup. The food was excellent and a really good portion size, I will definitely be back!
Pad thai and spring rolls are on another level 10/10
Inside of spring rolls were still cold otherwise its was great!
Larb Salad....every single time!!!
Had Pad Thai at this place and what a amazing taste recommended best in GTA
Pricy and food was okay. Not worth the money
The food was delicious and fresh. I was on my own but had to try 5 different menu items. The mango salad was the best Ive had in Toronto. The service was friendly and promp. Ill definitely be taking friends there especially if they have never had Thai food. Good introduction.
Great taste of Thai food with attentive staff.
Reducing it one star as quality went downhill
Great place for authentic Thai food! The pad thai was really great!!
Cant give this place enough praise! Have ordered from here multiple times, their Pad Kaprai Kao Dao is absolutely delicious, and their portion size is pretty good!
Food was decent. Loved the creamy sauce. The packaging was well but did not include utensils. I ordered over the phone and they said will be ready in 5-10mins. I got there within 5mins and my order was ready. I appreciate the fast service but it also makes me believe that the foods are prepared beforehand in large quantities and then sold. The gravy sauce was still warm but everything else was kind of cold including the noodles. Unless youre ordering the pad thai or any stir fry it will not be prepared fresh. That being said the food did taste good and did not feel old. So definitely recommend them. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options like tofu. Can make gluten-free as well Parking: Very bad parking situation. Small lot which barely fits 5 cars at a time. Most of which are pre occupied.
I still enjoy the food, but the takeout lunch sizes have been decreasing substantially in the last couple of years. Almost $15 for a chicken Pad Thai the size of a side dish and literally had 3 small chicken slices in it. So disappointing since this used to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants. Also note on the photo that container is half full
Nice service
Loved the Green curry..Pad thai was average. Service was superfast! Will come back
My family and I stopped here by chance, this place is amazing!! Food was fresh and delicious, I look forward to going back. Kid-friendliness: Both my kids where welcome, some places and servers dont treat kids as people!! Great staff here
Small portion and overpriced.
Awesome chicken satay and mango salad
Excellent authentic Thai food that feels good! Super kind and welcoming service! You will not be disappointed.
Always good. Always fresh. Never disappoints.
Pricy for the portion. Chicken pad Thai is average But the curry dishes are delicious
The food isn t good as the last time I came here before covid. No parking and too hot inside the restaurant. 18% off for group of 6 15% for cash payment
Eat BKK has never disappointed as a franchise. Everything was delicious and the portions were great for family style eating.
Food - Exactly as I expect from thai resturants. It has your standard menu. I was not disappointed. Service - Food came promptly, and service was good. They also had a discount for paying in cash. Decor - They followed a tropical theme. What I dislike was how hot it was it in. There was minimal setting right next to the Kitchen. Understandable why it was hot. However, it affected my experience as I was sweating and sometimes couldnt focus on my food.
Grabbed some chicken pad Thai lunch special for 12.99 (mon-thurs most likely) came with two small spring rolls and a soup, I also ordered the curry puffs. Ok so the curry puffs were alright it s a kinda sweet flaky dough with the curry but based on prior reviews thought it would be unforgettable..not sure if it s the Thai chili sauce for dipping but it was just ok..the spring rolls were good however it seems like to go it was a room temp. I think the soup they gave on the side actually was the star funny enough, the chicken pad Thai lunch special version (not sure if they change anything for the dinner menu or anything) was just ok overall I think I will def try again but maybe try something different..but the soup was great.
We came in for lunch, ordered a pad see ewe, pineapple fried rice, green curry, ramen tom yum and fish cake for appetizer. The food was delicious. The service was awesome too, we had them bring us extra plates and bowls so we could share.
We ordered the tofu lunch special. We literally got two pieces of tofu and broccolli with some sauce on top. Absolutely disgraceful.
Delicious! Group of 6 of us came in and ordered 8 different items. Everything came out around the same time, service was quick even though they had a lot of delivery orders and other diners too. Everything we had was delicious!
Delicious Yellow Curry. Very quick service and great portion size. Would recommend!
Good food served fast. Supportive and friendly wait staff.
Green curry was absolutely amazing. So was the crab meat dish.
Food, ambience and music was great. They have fast and great service. Make sure to check out their pineapple fried rice!
Do not eat here my girlfriend got severe food poisoning from one of their dishes! I am going to contact Toronto public health as my next step. They refused to refund us and the owner would not even come to the phone. The servers there looked the other way and no one took responsibility for the FOOD POISONING!
Not authentic Thai cuisine that I was looking for.
Ordered 4 dishes and when the staff brought out the bag with the dishes, I asked them is this everything? They promptly responded with yes, this is everything. When I arrived home and opened the bag, one of the dishes was missing. I called and the person who answered only gave me the choice of coming back to pick up my dish or to come back and get a cash refund. Ridiculous considering it was their mistake and I had to ruin my dinner plans and go driving to fix their mistake. When I arrived, I expressed my displeasure to the manager and she offered me spring rolls as that was the only thing she could offer. I accepted because I was just frustrated at this point and wanted to get my food and eat with my family. When I arrived home, and opened the dish, the dish was wrong and they had doubled up on one of the dishes already picked up. Really disorganized and unappreciative behaviour.
some of the best thai food in the area! very accommodating and excellent service, waitresses are also very kind and food comes out fast and hot! definitely recommend, 5 stars!!! Vegetarian options: vegetable stir fry tofu Dietary restrictions: allowed us to use our own oils
Oct 2022 edit/addition: theyve changed their Khao Soi ingredients or presentation, tastes just as good. And also added the Laab grilled chicken! A must try. I always order the Laab wings and had asked if they had it in chicken form. They do. They have a cash discount available. I ordered the braised beef with rice. My friend ordered the veg pad see ew. And we got wings. My order had something wrong with it. Had to send it back and they corrected it. I hope. They sent us complimentary spring rolls for the experience. I cant dock them. Mistakes and accidents happen. They did well to make up for it. Helpful staff, though they were slammed with many customers and pick ups. These wings are on my top 5 list of best wings. A must try.
For the price the quantity is crazy! Really good quick thai food
One of the best places to satisfy your craving for Thai food! Yummy yummy food, good service and value for money. This is one of my favorite places to go to for Thai food and I am a loyal customer. The place is clean, cozy and the food never disappoints. Absolutely love the Tom Yum soup, fried rice and the curries they offer.
Good thai food
Amazing food and friendly service from the chef himself. Thank you I will be back for sure and will recommend to family and friends
Came here for lunch with my colleagues. The lunch specials portion is great for the value. It gets pretty busy at lunch and parking is very very scarce out front.
The food is great and the staff are very nice and helpful.
My favourite place for exotic food. Delicious! Keep coming again and again!
