Delicious Thai cuisine. Fresh and tasty menu. Booth like seating arrangements that give you a more private setting. Friendly staff but our meals took some time. Definitely recommend a try.

Service was great they are super friendly and hard working. We felt welcome and enjoyed our meal. Favourite was garlic pepper lamb but green curry chicken was pretty close. Kid-friendliness: Had a great seat and water bottle for my toddler.

The ambiance is lively and comfortable.Ordered Grand Appetizer Platter, it is a visual delight with Spring Rolls,Crispy Tofu ,Shrimp and Calamari and the quantity is just perfect as it says Sharing and that was a fantastic. The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes and the dining experience was Outstanding . Delicious food. The grand pad Thai is a must try! All food was carefully prepared and very flavorful. The green curry and golden curry were also very good and so is the garlic shrimp. The service was excellent.

Curry pad thai is amazing and Im very skeptical/reluctant to ever order pad thai. Very accommodating services. Excellent restaurant. Edit: the cooking here has gone downhill. I ordered the chicken coconut soup, expecting a hearty, thick soup. Instead I got large pieces of chicken not even cut up and the consistency of the soup is so thin, it tastes like it was taken out of a grocery store-ready broth. Very inauthentic.

It was good overall. I was disappointed by the starter, we took a big plate to share (crispy tofu, calamars ) and it was not good, frozen products, no taste. However the main course was tasty (Massaman curry - beef), generous as well. Price is ok as well overall, it s not in my top picks in terms of Thai places.

Ordered dinner from here. The food is decent though highly inconsistent. The veggies in the fried rice vary from time to time and the flavours of various dishes do too. Occasionally too salty, spicy and/or oily. Tons of room for improvement. I tried their basil chicken and it was perfect one time but then dumped with crushed black pepper and swimming in oil the next time. Have had similar experiences with other menu items. Their famous pad thai is seriously lacking too - very dry, no flavour or sauce. Also their portions/serving sizes vary widely from time to time. The service and staff are alright so I ll give them 3.5 stars.

The food radiates out to the entrance and smells so good. Takeout or dine in, in booths with comfortable seating. Decor is minimalist modern. Service is excellent and friendly. The food was very tasty, I would have liked more vegetables in the meal, and the meat was generous. Would I eat here again? Definitely yes and one of the better choices in the area!

More recently I order someplace else. I kind of like the pad thai, especially for next day lunch leftovers. The portion is fair. It s gotten a bit pricey to order this one item for home delivery and I do not drive. I d prefer to support this restaurant, however we re all affected by price increases everywhere. Those who drive may enjoy this food place.

Im staying at the Pan Pacific hotel across the street, and this is my favorite restaurant in the whole area. Food was delicious, service was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable for the very large portion sizes. The Tom Kha Gai flavor was perfectly on point. I will be back!

We normally have a good ordering experience with TRG. I have to order by phone because online there is no place to make requests. This time however, after reviewing our order with the order-taker, I pointed out that I had asked for Ginger Chicken, not Cashew Chicken. We still received Cashew Chicken. Now I remember why I dont like Cashew Chicken: it tastes like they dumped an entire salt-shaker in the dish. Not only does this ruin the taste, its REALLY unhealthy. Jurys out on the Ginger Chicken, because we never received it.

Have I mentioned how much I love Thai food? I love the flavours, the textures, and the wide variety of dishes. Some friends and I recently visited Thai Room Grand in Don Mills and we had a fabulous meal! We started with their Grand Appetizer Platter, which included shrimp satay skewers, spring rolls, crispy tofu, and shrimp chips. It was a delicious start to our meal! Our other selections included Green Mango Salad, Red Curry with Chicken, Khao Soi, Royal Pineapple Fried Rice, and Beef Devil. I always enjoy a good Mango Salad and this one was really good! The Red Curry Chicken and Khao Soi were both colourful and delicious. The Pineapple Fried Rice, traditionally served in a pineapple, was also very pretty and tasty. The Beef Devil, was very flavourful, with a nice crispy texture. It was all good! A couple of us had their refreshing Watermelon Mojito and Mango Mojito cocktails that were very good. Besides the great tasting food, the service was excellent. The decor and ambiance of their dining room were sophisticated and intimate. With great tasting food, excellent service, and beautiful decor, what more could you ask for? Check them out!

I have been to this restaurant a few times and have also ordered their food online. I highly recommend the pad Thai and glass noodle dishes. I am usually not a vegetarian person but when I tried their vegetables noodle dishes, I do not miss my chicken, shrimp, or beef. The server was friendly and polite. Thank you!

I cleaned up the BASIL CHICKEN!, the combination of flavours were great and I mixed in the PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE! So good, Im a sucker for any fried rice.

Great food but we were surprised when ordering non-alcoholic virgin drinks (mojitos) that they tasted horrible! When we requested them to fix it, they offered to put honey in the drink! That did not help. Disappointed that we were we charged full price for virgin drinks (as most restaurants adjust the price if there is no alcohol). Cant believe we had to pay $56 for 4 virgin drinks.

Upon arrival at the Thairoomgrand location on York Mills we were greeted by the friendly staff at the front. First impressions of the interior was minimal but pretty, until you reach into the dining room and enter a fortress of luxury and elegance. The gold Buddha in the front is a warm welcome into the beautiful space. The food we ordered was delectable and fresh, it all came out in a timely manner. Presentation was simple but effective. The show stopper was the massaman curry - so flavourful and unique. Perfect amount of savoury and a touch sweet, plus filled with so much meat and potatoes. The service from our waitress Lan was spectacular, she took care of us so professionally and nicely. She made the whole experience delightful! I would definitely recommend everyone in North York to try out this location if you re looking for delicious Thai/Malaysian food!

Loved the restaurants set up, It was nice and cozy! The food was amazing 10/10 would definitely come back. I was here with my friend for my birthday and they took the extra step to make it special and sing for me when they came to deliver our chosen dessert (the Mango sticky rice was their iced tea also tasted better than most places) We had their Malay curry beef, Pad Thai and the shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls felt a little expensive though ($10 for two) Otherwise it was great!This place is now one of my top favorite go-to Thai food places! Dietary restrictions: Chicken and beef is halal

For a chain, the food here is actually pretty delicious with a huge portion size. We ordered the Glass Noodles with Chicken and Seafood and the Thai Spicy Noodles with Seafood. To my surprise, it had more meat (yes I am talking more shrimps, calamari) than the actual noodles. I will definitely go back to try out their other dishes. The only complaint I would have is that the order of Shrimp Chips had more crisps than the actual Shrimp Chips.

Overall good experience. Highly would recommend the Malay Curry which has a good amount of spice. We also ordered the Crispy tofu which was alright and the peanut sauce saved the dish. And once we added the tofu to the Curry dish we were very satisfied.

Space, hospitality and atmosphere is great. I was expecting the food to be better. I ordered the mango salad as starters and main on Beef Devil, expecting it to be spicy - came mild spicy, and the beef was fried (?) Im not sure if thats how its served. A little disappointed about the dishes not served with rice - we had to order it on the side. Only the curry dishes are served with rice. Overall, it was just the food that was least expectant.

I ordered khao soi with beef, and it s so disappointed. The beef was very tough and chewy, I literally had to spit it out because I cannot break it. The noodle is too salty. Overall I feel like I just wasted my $20, because I couldn t even finish half the bowl. But I still give it 2 stars because of the platter which is pretty good. I don t think I would come back.

Used to order from here quite frequently and ordered again here today. The curry pad Thai which I used to order pretty often was watered down and lacked a lot of the flavour and spice it used to have. The mango sticky rice - which used to fill and entire takeout container - was baffilingly a quarter of the old portion for the same price. Literally instead of the whole container it was a small mound in the corner of the container and had some slices of mango next to it. I dont know why the quality of the food has gone so downhill but Im disappointed and I likely wont be ordering from here again, which is a shame because this is one of the few restaurants where I have the menu on my fridge lol.

My husband and I were there for Valentines dinner. We ordered the 4 course meal. 2 minutes after our starter and appetizer were placed on the table, our main courses came too soon after. By the time we started on our main, the food was cold (I like to enjoy my hot food, hot). 55 minutes in we were still eating our food, the waitress brought out our desert. The table didnt have room for her to put the desert down. We asked her to bring it back after after our dinner. I asked what the time limit was for tonights dinning as its Valentines, she replied 1.5 hour. We still had 35 minutes left to enjoy our dinner. I felt rushed and therefore lost interest in this place. I guest the food was good had it been hot and not just warm.

I usually order the coconut sticky rice dessert but this time I ordered it and this is what I received. Very different then how it used to come and what the picture portrayed. This was $12.00 plus tax $16. I will never order it again.

This is a great place to have straight forward and delicious and uncomplicated Thai food. I really like their curry dishes as well as they are khao soi. The place feels a bit upscale which is a nice surprise. Special mention to the service I get here which is always flawless! Parking is free but a bit tricky during peak mealtimes.

We like the food all very delicious, however we won t be returning/ordering due to our second experience of poor customer service. Charging 19.00 for a vegetable dish that hardly has any vegetables in a container of broth is outrageous. In addition, when I called to point out the problem, the manager of the YorkMills location disputed what I said and then hung up on me. In today s precarious market, this is not a good way to manage regular customers.

Very nice place !! We could choose cold or hot water with lemon, which can be a plus in winter !! We were seated in a kind of cubicle, where you keep your privacy even in the middle of the room! And can also charge your phone in peace! The veg platter was very tasty and diverse! Big portions for noodles too! Great ratio meat/noodles/vegetables that tasted so fresh!! The food is ok ,staff are friendly but be careful they have 18% tips if you have a party of 6 people. They rip you off by taxing the after tax amount thats mean .18x1.13= 0.234 ie 23.4% tips almost $30 which is suppose to be $24 and this is sheeting as they are not suppose to tax the tips. Most restaurants now they are doing the same on tips.

Love the atmosphere at this place, some cool statues and interior decor. Its a bit of a tricky place to find, tucked into the strip mall with their marquee hidden behind some trees. Had really stellar service here and the food was timely. Spring rolls were exceptional, I really enjoyed them, even the sauce was typical but had its own unique taste. For main I had the massaman beef and although the flavour and profile were great, I didnt personally like the cuts of beef. They were thicker, roast beef tasting chunks where I typically like the thinner pieces. This is purely a preference, so I didnt knock any stars off. Coworker had the chicken curry and he loved it. We both ate all of our rice and mentioned a few times how speedy our server was. Basically the massaman wasnt my style, but I would definitely come back here and try a different plate. Though the curry isnt rich enough. Crispy BEEF DEVIL $18 A lot of coating, thin beef. A little spicy. Its so so... When its cold and reheated, its a bit doughy. ROTI MALAY BREAD $5 The basic roti is reminiscent of store bought (30 pieces for $8).

Me and my friend got food from here for dinner. We both enjoyed the taste however we both got very sick immediately after eating it. I m not sure what kind of food they are preparing but I was very scared for my health the next day (I don t wish to specify the details but wasn t an ideal bathroom trip). And I m not talking about a simple stomach bug and food poisoning. It was much more than that. They seriously NEED to examine the foods and ensure safety before giving it to customers!

I have been ordering from here for a long time, but every time I order the food quality is deteriorating. Until now I did not post anything but I want everyone to know that this place is not a good option to pick from. I ordered a pad Thai chicken and papaya salad of which the taste of pad Thai was bad and the walnuts had moulds in it. I m posting this a little late because the order was not for me, I had placed it for someone else. And the person said it was disgusting and could not eat anything.

What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the outstanding service. Our server, Ipsa, went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. She was incredibly attentive, always ready to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had about the dishes; its not often that you come across server who not only takes pride in their work but also genuinely cares about the satisfaction of the customers. The whole experience was amazing, will most definitely be returning to Thairoomgrand in the future.

We attended our nieces 16th birthday at this amazing resto. It was our first time, but definitely wont be the last. First, all the meat is halal. Second, everything I tried was excellent. Highlight for me was the chicken devil. All the curries were also delicious. Most importantly the service was excellent, we were a large group and the servers were very attentive. Finally went to thaigrandroom and it was good! Ordered the Khao Soi and it was flavourful - maybe it was because I dont usually get Khao Soi at my go to Thai restos, but this one didnt hit the same as when Ive had it previously. Overall still yummy and the service was great as well!

Amazing food! Portions are big!!! Food was delicious and well cooked! Definitely gonna come back to try other things. Royal pineapple fried rice, garlic shrimp and Grilled thai beef was too delicious!!!! April 11th, 2023 So I went for a second time (a month later) got the chicken wings, Thai curry fried rice (added pineapples) and ofcourse the garlic shrimp. I am literally impressed with the taste. I do like the Royal pineapple fried rice more. Shrimp rolls holly! PLEASE TRY THE SHRIMP ROLLS. I promise its the best thing ever! If you dont like it, Ill literally refund you for it after you explain why you didnt like it. #imserious

The food was really delicious. The service was excellent and theyre so friendly. We felt so good being there. The washroom is well maintained and its so clean. Highly recommend this restaurant if you feel like having Thai food. Its also worth noting that they have a port to charge your phone.

This is my favourite place for amazing Thai food. I have ordered from Thai Room Grand many times and I ve always been very happy! The food is so delicious and the delivery is great. I haven t tried dining at the restaurant yet but it s on my list.

Appetizers were great,main course very tasty and dessert was nice. Service is excellent, we visited on a Wednesday evening and while It was quiet there were a few tables being served. I will definitely go back.

Food taste was great, server was very friendly and professional, price seemed a little high, but probably not far off for Toronto pricing. Parking: Seemed like lots of room at lunch when we went last time. Wheelchair accessibility: Several accessible parking spots and easy access to the restaurant.

We only got take-out, but the dining room is beautiful and hope to dine in very soon. The staff are super friendly and greet you with warmth. The food is excellent value for the money. Huge portions of authentic thai food. Will definitely visit again!

Came for a birthday dinner with 18 people yesterday night. Made reservation early on so the restaurant was aware of this big party of people coming. Food was amazing but the service was HORRIBLE. Firstly, I told them to bring out a cake at the end and to split the cake and the birthday girl s bill with the rest of the table. They did not split the bill, in fact they put the cake, appetizers for the table on the birthday girls bill. By the time we got the bill most people have already paid theirs and it was too much hassle to rectify. Not to mention we had to wait close to 45mins to get the bill, with all the back and forth because they got the items mixed up. Second, I told them to bring out the cake as a surprise. The waitress came right up to the birthday girl and asked are you ready to cut your cake? with a straight face. I did not appreciate that at all. What was the point of me telling them to bring out the cake discreetly in the first place? Thirdly, the waitresses are not familiar with their own menu. They keep telling to point at the item on the menu even for orders like martini. And they left out some people s order which we had to repeat a few times. Lastly, as I was walking out, the waitress flagged me down and said they left out a beer from the bill and demanded me to pay for it since it was someone from my party (who had left at that point). What a horrible experience and service. They are lucky the food tastes good. If you go for a party of one or two you ll be fine but please don t go with a bigger group unless you want to deal with a very unpleasant service, with 18% gratuity added mind you.

Very satisfied with the food. The two times I ve ordered the delivery was fast and arrived fresh. Tasty dishes and a great portion. Easily serve 2 or even 3 people. We will definitely pay them a visit to try other flavours and to dine in. Great packaging as well. We don t order Thai very often because of the spicy food, but this one was in the right proportion. Their mild is really like this and nothing exaggerated.
