The order meal was so bad, Hue beef noodle soup asked for no beef and got a total of 6 pieces of pork sausage, the noodles were less than the price of the side dish, never had a second time.

Just ordered the rare beef pho because i m not feeling well and it really hit the spot! Delicious broth and a very generous portion so I m going to get 2 meals out of it. Will def order again

Been regularly visiting this location for a while now. While the food maybe good and reasonably priced, the service is terrible; rude and unfriendly. Thankfully there are other pho places in the vicinity! Edit: The service at the restaurant has greatly improved during recent visits.

Went there tonight with my family. I didnt try the Pho, I will next time but all the dishes we order were B+ to A. We ordered the bun bo hue, broken rice(com) with pork chop, crispy spring roll and the spicy calamari. The bun bo hue was outstanding, the right amount of spiciness and body. One of the best broths of bbh I had in a long time, usually they are not as spicy as I like it. Only small nit pick was the lack pork blood cubes that I usually find in a bbh. The rice with pork chop was HUGE, about 50% bigger than the plates Im used to. Once again delicous, with a perfectly cooked fried egg with the yolk still runny. The veggies that came with were fresh and had a nice snap. They had pickled carrots and lettuce, only missing the pickled white daikon. Crispy spring roll was just about perfect. Cooked on the inside while still moist and super crispy on the outside. Had a really nice crunch when you bit into it. Spicy Calamari was also excellent, the batter was nice and crispy with a nice zing. The calamari itself was soft and cooked perfectly. One of the few negatives was the broken rice, it wasnt broken rice. It was normal rice because broken rice is really hard to find right now, I know, Im having a hard time finding it for my own family. They also forgot my sprouts/mint leaves, but got it right away after I told them. These are super minor nitpicks, dont let this deter you from coming here. Honestly Im giving them a 5 star rating anyways, the food was amazing, service was great and friendly, and the price was very reasonable. I would have given them 4.75 if I could but 5 stars it is.

My go to spot for phone used to be Pho Express across the street, but THIS is my new pho restaurant. Portions are significantly larger and prices are cheaper. Broth is authentic with minimal or no MSG all while maintain a strong beefy flavour in the broth. The beef, noodles, and broth are vastly superior to most pho places north of the 401. For what its worth, Ive eaten at lots of photos restaurants near Jane/Finch and this one is still one of the best. Edit: Quality of pho at this restaurant has dropped significantly - there are better alternatives within the area.

I enthusiastically recommend this Pho spot! It offers some of the most generous portions of pho in the area, making it my top choice whenever Im in the mood for it. ALSO has the BEST chicken pad thai! The chicken pad thai here surpasses those Ive tried elsewhere, always leaving me delighted by its incredible taste and flavour I simply cant resist ordering it. With reasonable prices, I also make it a point to indulge in their fried noodles, making this restaurant an overall outstanding dining experience!

Ive been this restaurant only for 3 times as a trial before I decide to be a regular customer because this restaurant is 5 min walking distance from my house. And this time would be my last time to visit. Taste....not enough for the price. Light soup with minimum portion of vegi and meets. Service....just okay except the onwer of this store. She might not like this business and does not care about the customsers. Biggest Problem is hygiene. All customers will touch and pickup chopsyicks front part where you will take your foods to your mouth. Yes it was common from Pho restaurants before the Corona Pandemic, but not anymore. You can also see other issues while you are in this restaurant. As a result, I would not get foods from here any further, except this restaurant is the last one in the world.

I recently tried Pho Saigon for the first time and I have to say, it was amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere, and the friendly and attentive staff. The food was the highlight of my experience - the pho was simply delicious. The chicken wings are fresh and were well fried and served hot. They were also juicy. My issue is that theres nothing special about them. If you told me this came from a Canadian diner or some hamburger joint, I wouldnt question you whatsoever. For a Vietnamese place, I was expecting fish sauce and garlic or something to set it apart. Otherwise, theres no real reason for me to get this again. Parking: Big lot but it can get busy at any time of the day as theres many stores in the plaza.

We are a regular in this restaurant and I can assure you that this is the best Pho Restaurant in Toronto. Their spicy calamari and spring rolls are the best. Also, the staff are always so nice and accommodating.

Cozy, nice soup, fast service.

This places food used to be quite good, but has gone downhill over the years (rather backwards for the covid times). Pho is fine, average. Meat with rice or vermicelli was really low quality, fatty, dark meat; even the expensive short-rib that used to be quite nice. The service was never wonderful, but its had some low points of recent...make sure youre on time to pick up your food (easy, bc its rarely ready when told) or else someone else might get it -- and then youll wait for them to bring it back, sometimes partially-eaten. Ive been on both sides of that... Likewise, *check* your order is right. If they took a name or # when people order, they wouldnt keep messing up orders & giving them to the wrong people. Ive seen no improvement and no longer go here.

Super slow service. Waitress forgot to punch in our order and returned 15 minutes later to ask us what we ordered. Its a really busy place and the food is decent. Waited about 30 minutes for lunch.

It is rude to secretly add 12% service charge without informing the patrons. It would have been appreciable if the bill was provided before payment. We had eaten here couple of times and came again with our friends, only to discover about the hidden service charge after our meal. Anyway, you lost a customer and few more with your tactic.

I am giving five stars for a couple different reasons. The first reason is both the dishes I bought were great. The veggie pad Thai and green curry. Great portions for the price, a nice little kick to the curry not too hot but hot enough for me, I like it spicy but flavourful. It was very clean inside and there was seating available, the three girls working the restaurant were very friendly and I really enjoyed interacting with them. Great customer service. Cashier stealing!! My family and I ate there today. Food was good and price was decent. When you pay cash, there is a 10% discount. But when i asked for the bill, the cashier lady just said its $48 (didnt show the receipt). I asked if the cash discount was already applied, she said yes. I paid and asked for a copy of the receipt. Cashier was surprised and took her 2mins to print it. I even tipped $3 on top of it. Then when she handed the receipt, guess what there was NO DISCOUNT. Apparently, she would deliberately not show the receipt to the customer and pocket the cash discount money on top of the tips. I dont care about the money and its not alot anyways but the point is, is she that desperate??? Intentionally deceiving customers for money Cashier cant even make eye contact with me afterwards. I didnt bother to complain. Just left and felt very. disappointed

Came here with my friends after an exam. My first time trying Pho and the broth was really good. I had the chicken noodle soup with some spicy oil. It does take some time to prepare, so I recommend having company to pass the time. P.S The picture was taken before I mixed in the spicy oil/topping

Service is very poor. Unfriendly and not helpful. Similar experience happened three times so I am no longer their customer. I introduced many of my friends to this place but they agreed with the poor service. We are all no longer their customers.

Food was ok. This was the second time we ordered take out and first time the pad Thai was delicious. Our second time ordering we had to wait when we came to pick up our order. The rare beef pho and shrimp wonton noodle soup were just ok, nothing special. The calamari was mediocre but the vegetable spring rolls were great. Definitely restaurant is worth a try however just pick your meal carefully.

To tell a postal worker that the washroom is for paying customers is outrageous. These are the types of establishments that need to be exposed. How could you deny a basic human necessity especially to someone who works for your benefit. This place lacks complete empathy and definitely needs to revise their washroom policy. 10/10 would not recommend, plus the springs rolls were sub-par. Try lac vien express or jasmine garden restaurant. Better service, better food.

The absolute worst customer service i have ever experienced.

One Rice dish didnt come out so I informed them, they didnt even say sorry said its coming later because i ordered later than everyone but I was actually the first to order then it was my friend.(not possible because we ordered two different things. They treated me like I did something wrong and that they did nothing wrong. Would never recommended and would say to try somewhere else ( many other places in the area!) (Edit): The owner threw the machine in front of me and argued with me that it was NOT their fault, pretty ironic how the owner is replying to me when she wouldnt even listen to me when I told them that they got my order wrong and they blamed the customers. Edit: The owner has replied to my friends review with the EXACT SAME REPLY because they want to act like they are trying to solve the problem, dont bother believing them and go somewhere else

This was my first visit and I absolutely love this place. The service and atmosphere were amazing. Servers were very polite and attentive. This was the best Vietnamese restaurants I have ever eaten. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended for anyone who likes pho and among other unique dishes. This will be my go-to place from now on ; )

To be honest, customer service is the worst i have ever experienced. The music is loud but their gossip are even louder, don t care the customers. They gave me hot tea then i asked for water but they didn t give me even after I finished my food. Food is absolutely delicious, but worst customer service. I paid for not only the food but also the service and see what i got :) Never come back, better go another one.

My friends and I have been going to Pho Saigon St resto on Steeles and Carpenter Rd for almost two years now.We re only interrupted during the pandemic and I can say that the food and the service are excellent.Mike,the manager and part owner,and his staff always treat us like family and VIP.I d highly recommend this place to anyone who wants taste authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Reviews for this place are overrated. This place is just alright. My eyes were pleased when the food arrived, but sadly it didnt continue. Food is a bit on the oily side as I dont remember my lips being that oily before(especially those spring rolls). Im really glad I didnt buy extra spring rolls because they are sooo expensive for not being well done. The vermicelli chicken and pork both were a let down. Meat was dry and sparse. Seemingly not as huge of a deal, but the tea here doesnt taste good at all and is too weak for the amount of water in the pot, so it ends up tasting like you are drinking hot water. If youve made weak tea at home before you will recognize that taste where it just tastes of hot water. Little things like this do matter to me because it is as impactful to my enjoyment as anything else that I order. I suppose if I didnt have other Vietnamese restaurants to compare to I would be more positive. Staff is nice which is good. Place was quite cold on a day where the weather was nice and the patio, sadly, wasnt open. There are definitely better tasting Vietnamese places to go, but maybe not within a 10 minute drive from here to my knowledge.

I was very disappointed with my first experience in this restaurant. Its say that they will close 9 pm..we arrive in the restaurant 8 with my cousins. they let us in but the moment we sat down the people working there keep rushing us to order. We just order what we saw first there at the menu without even thinking if we really want the foods that we ordered. All the people working there keep talking and looking at us, it feels very uncomfortable..our food arrive finally, we need to asked them plates and everything because they didnt gave us anything,. We finally started eating but the server came and asked us to pay right away Because they said its almost closing but its only 8.30 Very rude..that will be my first and last to that restaurant.

Had vegetarian tofu pad Thai few days ago. Worst pad Thai I ever had. They put too much of some red sauce. It almost looked like pasta sauce. None of the other places put red sauce in pad Thai. It was mostly noodles and very few pieces of vegetables for $15.

Large Pho could use a lot more noodles. The amount you get is like a medium somewhere else. The drinks are terrible - undersized and the tapioca are from the days before, mush and not chewy.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered for pickup and was told through app it was ready. Showed up; staff said in 5 more minutes . Waited for 10 more minutes, standing inside the store. I asked again, 5 more minutes , they say while running around serving seated customers. Kept getting ignored. Third time I ask, still no food. I left and got a refund from Doordash. They need to remind their staff that all orders are equally important. Online orders helped keep them afloat during pandemic. Don t order online here. They don t care as much cause they don t think you ll tip.

Fantastic food! My friend and I got the Shrimp Wonton soup with (egg noodles) and the Tofu & Vegetable pho. Both were delicious! Lots of flavour and richness to the broth.

I went in for pho and pho is really basic. I could cook that at my home with chicken bouillon, some noodles, and beef slices. I did went in twice to see if the first visit was a bad luck or on a off day. The second visit was also almost the same. But the cam tam was nice and my friend had the cam tam. But I don t go to Vietnamese place to eat rice and meat, I go only for pho. Three stars for the cam tam coz it looked good and 2 stars off for the pho.

Excellent pho! Delicious broth

I had the medium size special beef pho which comes in delicious broth, thin noodles, different types of beef such as beef, beef ball, tribe and green onions. Lime, bean sprouts and basil on the side. It was very yummy and filling. Fast service, clean establishment. Washroom are very clean too. The price tag was 13.75cad before tax and tip, good value for the money.

Very unassuming exterior, the interior seems modern and clean. Food was very good and the servers super polite. Parking: Its on a plaza and there is another plaza across the stree so you have a lot of parking options. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, no steps.

Very clean and the waitress is very friendly from my last 2 visits.

Fast and efficient. All the food was very tasty and the portions were generous. There was a language issue. I asked if anything came with rice and was told no so we ordered rice and one of the dishes was half rice. Not a biggie as we really enjoyed the food!

IMO, Saigons broth was good that it wasnt sweet but lacked a little depth in the richness of the broth. S.O. said broth was bland and needed salt, but then again..she adds salt to McD fries... But in these times....PATIO is all you need.

This is the Vietnamese restaurant I like the most in the neighborhood. Love their deep fried calamari, fried chicken wings, rice-paper rolls, grilled pork chops.

The pho here is whatever. Compared to other places, the broth was bland and lacked rich flavors of bone broth. Furthermore, its more expensive than other places that make pho better than them. Yes, the bowls look humongous, and at first we thought we were getting our moneys worth, but its just an illusion! trust me! The restaurant was super clean, but kitchen staff were not wearing masks when handling food so if youre wary of COVID, I suggest you dont go here. Lastly, waitresses were friendly, but did not come to our table to check on us.

Better than expected!! Was looking for the sit in restaurant specializing in vietnamese food and we found a winner! Very clean & cozy. AC was already on!!! Great price & and big portions of food! Server / Owner was very professional and very attentive! Update! Visited few times from Sept. To October this year (2021)... . They might have changed the supplier and the meat quality has changed and all the regular servers changed also.. Gave them few tries to see if there was one off but there was no improvement of the meat quality (very chewy)..

This place used to be a great place with quality food. Unfortunately they have gone downhill for a while in food quality and service and I cannot recommend it anymore. The waitresses are super rude, negligent and care least about you or your order. Once seated you are on your own to get their attention and good luck! No drinks or water was offered until we asked for a few times. They got our order wrong (wanted less noodle in my pho, they made a mistake with my friend s instead which was different ingredients. When asked, she said just just put some noodles of yours in the other bowl! Unbelievable as the two dishes didn t even have same meat and we can t make up Fort he mistake of the kitchen on our own!) They served the pho with no sprouts or basil, we were almost done when I asked and they did not even bother saying sorry! The food has lost its quality indeed (this place used to be our favorite). With latest visit, the pho is super bland and meat amount is way less then before. I am a very patient person and never leave a negative review, am understanding of the strain Covid ha out on restaurant staff, but this was way unexpected and beyond disrespectful. I hope someone in their management pays attention and care for the reputation and quality of this restaurant. It is unfortunate as we won t go back again for sure.

Great experience! The food was a little slow and I wish the utensils were individually wrapped so it wasnt a communal holder, but other than that it was lovely. Our noodles were quite slow, but flavourful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be returning!

I went here with my friend to hangout because he suggested that it was good. The food for me is not quite taste especially the pho. Their lemongrass is quite different from the common one and I dont recommend it. The manager or owner at the time was a little rude when we were about to pay.

I always love the food here!! Me and my mom came here many times together and always get the pho, staff are nice I m familiar with most faces. My only complaint is that sometimes they run out of the green leaves that come with the pho but it s no big deal. Everything we ordered was delicious! Their bun bo hue was very flavorful, their portion for P1- house special pho was large, though their broth could have been more hot in temperature. Their spring rolls were also very thin and crispy! We finished off with an avocado milkshake with just the right amount of sweetness. Patio was nice and quiet and they maintained a safe clean environment.

Ordered food at 5:15 went to pick up staff very confused with amount of orders, received order 6:15 short parts of order. Had to return to pickup balance of order. Otherwise food was delicious .

Tasty, generous portions. I cant give this 5stars because I have had Vietnamese food that was better, but this does not disappoint. Best in the area.

One of the best Pho soup in town.

Recently I ordered takeout and decided on vermicelli with spring roll, grilled pork, and sugarcane shrimp. I prefer it over the pho and pad thai here. The portion was large and it was surprisingly tasty. The pork is well seasoned. I think next time would order without the shrimp.

Ive ordered a bunch of different stuff from this place, they have an awesome variety of stuff and its all packed with flavour. Great stuff ranging from fried to fresh tasting foods, my weekend go-to place! I love the variety!

Self-service for ordering, you pick what you want off the menu and write it on a piece of paper. We had to sit on the patio as there is no indoor dining at the moment. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Service was fast and efficient , overall good spot for a Pho fix. Ordered : - spring roll vermicelli with grilled beef

Solid Vietnamese food spot, would definitely come back

The restaurant doesnt offer many of the staple Vietnamese dishes, such as soft shell crab. Even a must herb such as lemongrass isnt available, although listed on the menu as an ingredient in a dish. Worst of all, though the cook refused to prepare a dish according to our dietary needs, claiming it was precooked, so eaters, bevare - youd never know how freshly cooked the dish you order is snd how long its been sitting there!
