Food 10/10 but why can’t I find them on skip or other food ordering apps
Good Food. Warm service. Clean service Good price. 👍
The taste was excellent, setting was also good. Customer service wasn’t the greatest not sure why. One thing I noted was they can use one spoon for the stews one for soups. Personally I prefer one each for the different food. For instance I may not like ayamse but you use the same spoon to serve normal stew. Or I may not like snail but you use the same spoon to serve stew or rice. Other than this, its good food
This place is the absolute worst! Terrible customer service!! Called here on Saturday to place an order for moi-moi and I was told to come pick up my order 5:45 PM. Got there a little earlier and was told they didn't know who my order so they didn't reserve any moi-moi for me! I drove almost 40km and the only thing y'all could say to me was sorry o, moi-moi is finished! They did not offer to make it right or show any empathy. This place does not know anything about running an ethical business. It is obvious they do not care about their customers! Will not be coming back!
Ordered the jollof rice, plantain and beef. Unfortunately the plantain was very dry and the beef was chewy as well unlike the time we had it at an earlier visit. The flavours were there but couldn't enjoy it because of how dry it was. Will give it an other try in the future.
Amazing homie food. Customer service can improve but overall I would definitely go again
Friendly staff. Ordered their Fufu and egusi. I also bought pounded yam and egusi as takeout.Food tastes good. Water isn’t served in glass, so we have to pay for bottle water, my first time paying for water at a restaurant in Toronto.
Small restaurant with a family feel. You may need to ask for service when needed, but full of laughs and good food
Elite Nigerian food-amazing-
delicious food and incredibly kind service. thank you !
Good people, and yummy food.
Very clean inside and classy with nice goat meat pepper soup takeout well served. But the surrounding needs some maintenance.
If I could give this place a 0 I would!!! I went in and asked for a menu and the rude lady pointed to the hot table and said this is it. No prices were listed or anything. I got a SMALL portion of egusi and fufu and another small dish and it was $55!!! The lady put aprox 1.5 spoons of food in our bowl. How is this place so expensive??? There is no price control and the portions are extremely small and the service is poor. They are robbing people and they do not care!
Their jollof rice is hard. Feels like they rush the process.
Never disappoints.
Very tasty authentic African food at an affordable price
My fav
Never call in to make an order cause it will never be packed, rude, food is too expensive. ($14 food hiked to almost $25) crazy...
The food is not the issue fluctuating prices, and non existent customer service needs FIXING! Unfortunately I m not sure that even Christ Himself could preform this much needed miracle!
The jollof rice is amazing
Here you can get traditional Nigerian delicious dishes in a very cool setting. You can also purchase alcohol to cool off with friends here. Drink while eating and watching big flat-screen TV. The prices of the food are pocket friendly. You can also order online via Uber Eats. The experience is a wonderful one. Youd love to return for more after one trial. Ill recommend my friends to visit this place again and again.
The food was great but the customer service was very very poor.
Oh. My. Gosh. I am salivating and I just ate it!!!!!!!
No price control, they keep changing the price of food. I bought a little pouned yam and egusi soup with assorted meat (full of bones) for $24, Jesus Christ! Some months back I bought that same order for $18. Hopefully by December it will be $30.
Our favourite Nigerian cuisine by far! The way the food here tastes in comparison to other restaurants is on a much higher quality level. The cooks are on point, and have been working there for years. The owner, Funmi is extremely friendly and caring. Highly recommend the egussi soup, pounded yam, and goat meat or assorted meat. Their jollof rice is also extremely tasty and we enjoy the beans as well.
Lovely Nigerian food. Jollof rice, vegetables soup with pounded yam and all .
The food here is amazing. They have different options. From Jollof rice to white rice and plantain to veg and pondo yam. Just wonderful. Parking: All the times I have been there, there has always been available parking.
Food is delicious, thank you ladies, its worth the drive from Hamilton
Nice meals very satisfying value for money
I called this place to inquire about their services and the rude lady didn t let me even finish before she hung up on me. The level of unprofessionalism and zero customer service is disappointing.
Great taste everytime.
You should update your profile and let folks know when you are closed. I called, no one picked, and drove 35mins down here only to find you closed. Thats poor service in my books.
I drove 25mins from my location the site said open at 11am,getting there the open logo was on the door.i stepped in and the lady i met was very rude .i was like you said you are open.and she said well we are not. .poor customer service.
Very lovely Nigerian food like finger licking good..affordable price but poor customer service
Good service, good tasty African food.
Bad customer service.
Love the food hopefully they do delivery
Is it me or they Just mess up your order on purpose
You will be satisfied when you are leaving
It was the worst meal, plus I got cheated. Where in Toronto does a place of white rice and stew sell for $28.35? Did I mention the food was not fresh? Save yourself the agony of going to eat here!
Okay
Good African food but the wait time can be very annoying. Customer service is on a good side but there is room for improvement on that too.
Great Nigerian dishes!
Great African recipes.
Nice African restaurant
Great and well-prepared Nigerian delicacies.
Excellent naija delicacies
I love their vegetable soup with assorted meat & poundo!!! Their Asaro is also very good, just that its not always available.
The best food
Great experience
They are good but sometimes they dont have enough food
Nice and tasty African food
Makes me feel home
Nice place
Quality service. Best fried meat in the area
Great people and amazing food. Thank you
Bad service, very bad customer service and the food is not the same the pounded yam wasnt done correctly, I will not be supporting that restaurant any longer.
Excellent staff!
Their food is delicious!!! I cant get enough
Good food takes time to prepare. So, come hungry and with a lot of patience and you will enjoy.
Addicted to the Egusi with assorted meat!! I ve tried it many other places but these ladies have the magic touch that keeps me coming back!!! Prices are reasonable for what you get.
Great!
This is second time there and it was so bad that i edited my original review of my medeocre experience. Second time was very bad. Zero customer service. By that i mean i was chasing the ladie around trying to get the menu and ask what they have available. When she finally decided to speak to me she acted like she was doing me a favour. Lots of attitude and rolling eyes and kissing teeth. Then they pretty much had nothing on the menu....smh I make my order and pay. I ordered a few things and they were ok for the most part. One dish however, i was so shocked to see what they did. I ordered fried rice....they filled the bottom of the takeout container with plain white rice then layered the top with a thin layer of fried rice....just whoa....i love supporting African business but you have to at least try. Ill never return to this place
Food is good but worst customer service. It s like they don t even want to take your order. They re not friendly at all. I ve been here a few times for the food alone but always horrible customer service. I don t think i ll go back. I found a similar place called Afro Spice 8 mins away from there. Smaller place but food is just as good and very good customer service. The lady was friendly and accommodating.
Staffs are very helpful.
Nice place too
Love the food. Consistent taste
Beautiful African Restaurant with favorite meals for people from West Africa. Price is reasonable too.
I am out of town and looked for a naija restaurant and it was the only Nigerian restuarant open at 11am and ready to go. Had Rice and fish and it tasted like home.
Good food and quick service
Worst place ever bad customer service. The women are very rude. They keep u standing and do other things I feel like closing them down. Am feeling so bad now because I gave them one start they dont deserve any star, give them 0 star or no start stupid people..
I love thier pounded yam and egusi soup
Nice
Horrible horrible food
This Restaurant is a place to be,Good foods, Excellent Customer services, Clean place,Definitely whenwhen am in Toronto, Stevag Restaurants is my Restaurant the best of All
Lovely
Awesome
Very very good food
Food was great
Nice place to be
Nice food
Fantastic meal.
Good food but punctuality is the soul of business. Food is not always ready on time, canteen is always noisy and no kitchen aprons on kitchen staff and cap.
African Taste at Best
Nice place.
Good food
The food was well cooked and tasty.
Snobs
Lovely meals, poor service or customer service
The service and ambience was poor. Some items in the menu were not available. The general experience was poor. I do not recommend
I waited 25 minutes to order crazy
I went here and got the Egusi with pounded yam and it was the best egusi I ve had. I m not African but I ve had many African dishes but this by far was the best. They gave me a lot of food for the price. The lady who served me was nice and I didn t wait to long. It was all nice and fresh. I m officially addicted to the food here. I live out east so it s hard to make my way to the west to get food but I promise you when I move to the west they may see me everyday
Nice restaurant
Ok
Good food liked the place
Great is decent but bad customer service, they make you wait for so long then ask you what you want. There is no order. However the owner is great the guy but the lady owner has attitude. Anyways I will keep eating here and out up with it until I find something better. I
So lovely
A very good African Restaurant with Lovely and pleasant customer service.
Great customer service, clean place, delicious food.
Good place to have a nice Nigerian meal.... but the customer service needs to improve...
Home cooked Nigerian food
The customer service here is terrrible and I honestly I m disappointed in them. They have forgotten the number one rule in the hospitality business, the guest are your number one priority. The food is good but they need to improve on customer relations.
Great African food. Need to improve telephone orders and in store wait times
Great food and service, could not stop eating the egusi
Good food nice services Filling
Best African restuarant in Toronto
There food was soo great.... it make me remember my home land ,... Stevag the best .. my choice
Good food for a decent price
Great food but the customer service makes you not wanna go back there! I used to travel all the way from Burlington for their food but I dont think its worth my money anymore. They need to change their workers or their attitude.
The Restaurant is very clean and service is fabulous. The owner is very respectable person and always happy to serve. The food is deliciously great. The moi moi was to died for!!! The best Naija restaurant ever.
Great quality food but small portions and super expensive. Worth it!
Very rowdy.. Not neat
Amazing food!
Pretty good vicinity and favorite dishes
Went here and safe to say I wont be back. They need some serious work on their service, at the very least have menus for the customers. Food was good, but service quality ruined it. Servers need uniforms and not look like they just cleaned the place. The owner was out doing her paperwork in front of customers and was rude. This place is out of the way.
Ju is spot on!! Great food but seriously subpar service. Will keep going until there is an alternative
Love the food
Good Nigerian food. Bad service. Ask what they have first because they dont always have everything on the menu. In fact theyve never had everything on the menu since Ive been going there.
