Genuinely good food and atmosphere. Had a burger here a while ago and was impressed, had the wings recently and was also pleased. I would however not recommend the orange Habenero flavour for wings. I have a generally high spice tolerance and the orange Habenero was way too spicy

I would love to know what action the Tin Cup management is doing to improve the food quality. This was our go-to place last year and early this year when we were moving to Oakville. The food was alway good. We were sometimes there twice a week. The burgers, chicken club and wings were always great. The burgers were juicy and lovely. Our last few visits in the last three months have been terrible. On our last visit about a month ago my burger was so badly overcooked it was in edible. I had asked the server to tell the Kichen not to overcook. My son, who used to manage two different kitchens in good restaurants confirmed. The server did bring me something else! My wifes chicken club &. my sons chicken tenders were the same. That is all she used to order if she was not having a burger. Needless, to say we have not been back since and are very reluctant to return. What happened to you guys? So sad.

Good Food, But Too Loud The food was very good, and the service was acceptable, though we never received drink refills. The biggest downside was the noise surprisingly loud for 6 p.m. on a Wednesday, with music playing very loud over the speakers and therefore customers had to talk loud to speak over it.

This place is very solid. Consistent food. I would say that their pricing has gone up a bit too much in the last 3 years for high end bar food. I think they should control that a bit. That said this place is quite good, their menu is also large.

5/5 stars! Im obsessed with the Tin Cup Sports Grill in Oakville! The chicken tenders and fries are beyond description - theyre that good! Ive been hooked since my first visit and have returned three or four times, craving that mouth-watering combo. The quality and flavour are absolutely Top-Shelf. The staff and atmosphere are also exceptional, making it a must-visit spot for sports fans and foodies alike. If you havent tried the chicken tenders and fries yet, do yourself a favor and get there ASAP! Ill be back, again and again!

My goto place to take visiting clients from work for lunch. Get there before noon as it gets quite busy. My favorite is the Peppercorn Burger.

Underrated spot honestly. Food here is better than you expect and the service is great. Definitely try the cheeseburger egg rolls, they wont disappoint.

Descent pub food

Hi I been here short time ago. The staff are nice people. I tryed the hamburger & I was very happy. It tasted freshly made Not frozen. To everyone iut there PLEASE try it I garantee youll enjoy the experience. The flavour just thinking of it now is makin me hungry. I will deffently come back & try other things off the menu.

I had the fish tacos, which were tasty. But at $17 bucks you cant convince me that it only come with 2 tacos that are mostly lettuce and a small piece of fish. Jezzzz at least send out 3 tacos...

This local sports pub has a great location off the highway. Good wings and lots of TVs playing many different sports at once. Last time I was there we watched a Leaf game, a Canada hockey game, a Habs game and a Raptors game at the same time!

Our entire meal was burnt. Appetizer came in good time but definitely burnt egg rolls. Dinner came more than an hour after arrival. My burger was black and dry. Bacon was barely cooked. Ended up leaving without dinner because refire had still not arrived and my partner was long done dinner. Terribly disappointed by kitchen staff. Our server Jing Jing did her best.

I love their wings and the deals and I go there quiet a lot but the last visit their machine had an issue and I had to pay twice so I could stop feeling so awkward with the Server and Manager trying to make sure I paid for my meal even though I had shown them my bank account with the exact payment on the bill. Eventually I had to drive back there on my own time and gas to get my refund. That being said the food is delicious specially the wings but maybe Ill try another location in the future.

Have not been here since the pandemic. This place is hopping and very busy for lunch. The noise level was excessive, and I had a very difficult time having a conversation with friends. Stephanie was our server and managed the entire section by herself.

A hidden gem

Great food & service. Not a quick lunch.

The only good thing about this place was our waitress. The wings were tiny, dry, overdone. The calamari was about the same, tiny pieces full of batter, tiny shrimps over fried with 2 sauces, one worse than the other. The place looked cheap and old. Not my kind of place. Definitely not coming back.

We had a large group of over 40 people and they were able to accommodate us as we called ahead for the reservation. They had enough wait staff for us and the kitchen staff must have been staffed accordingly as well because our food can put quickly. Great atmosphere! Food

The Tin Cup salad is even better than I remember it. So good. Okay this was from before and I am now editing. Very disappointed in the quality control lately. Yesterday, ordered 2 Tin Cup Salads. Hubby requested extra dressing. As we have been burned before in this regard, he checked order before leaving (was a pickup) and no dressing. A staff member ran out of kitchen with the dressing. All good right? Wrong. NO PEARS at all in both large salads and discovered this as we sat down at home to eat. Do we really have to open our orders before leaving restaurant every time? I let it go the last time (was missing ingredient before ) but this timeI am telling everyone. Come on guys. You used to be so much better. My son also had a bad experience with ordering salads at your restaurant. I guess we have to find another place.

Great restaurants great food

Service was fast and friendly. We ordered a bunch of apps and one main to share. They were all delicious. We had the warm pretzels, the cheeseburger egg rolls , the buffalo cauliflower and baked mac and cheese. The cheese dip for the pretzels was to die for. The mac and cheese was excellent. Great sauce and great flavor. The cauliflower had a great little bite and was yummy. The server came to tell us that they only had a half order(2 instead of 4) of the cheeseburger egg rolls but they were going to do them for us at no charge. So we got 2 rolls cut in half and the portion was fine for us and they tasted great too. We had a server when we needed her and she kept an eye when we needed a refill. She was great.All in all, a great experience. I would reccomend. Just for the pretzels and the nice cold beer!!

Tin Cup is a solid place to get great food!!! We brought in a hockey team off hours and once our orders were taken the food came out very quickly! Its not very pretty inside but the food is really good.

Read great reviews and finally got around to trying it. No regrets, as a matter of fact, this is now one of my favorites. The service was great, and the food was awesome. Price was not bad, considering the portions were very generous. We ordered the large nachos between the three of us and took most of our mains home. Was happy to have another meal as the food was delicious .

Great place for a few drinks and food.

Do you ever wake up some mornings and just crave a burger. This happens to me more often than Id like to admit. My wife unfortunately does not support the breakfast burger movement. After staving off the craving for 6 hours I finally rolled into Tin Cup. I ordered the Plain Jane Burger (I have lactose issues so I cant handle cheese) got it with fries. That burger filled the empty void in my life that day, and I will never forget that.

Average and over priced fare even by todays standards. Service was decent. Food was so so! The baked Mac n cheese was too dry, had hint of bacon flavour even though we asked for no bacon. The fish n chips we okay, had more batter less fish, seems to have been fired in too hot oil, leaving the crust almost wafer like! Not a great experience. They have and can do better!

I ve been coming to this place for as long as I can remember, and it s absolutely delicious. The Mexican flatbread is unbeatable, and the nachos are very distinct. Keeps us coming back to share them, again and again!

It is an Oakville pub, bouchy and quasi upscale. Not a watering hole that it would like to be but more of an extension of your golf course club house. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Some of them need replacing as they have really bad phosphorus burns in them. Servers are quick and efficient. Tasty food but I would consider it over priced. (i.e. $35 for a double order of wings).

It was a rain day so no golf. Met a group I golf with. On these days we are not in a rush and the individual who looked after us let us take our time. Great service, great food. We will be back.

Had a late dinner here with family. I had the Guiness burger. Was very good especially because it was prepared to medium (or maybe medium to well) the hamburger patty was a little loose (so its definitely prepared in house, which I think is a good thing) there were two items in our order that were both a bit overcooked or something that were both deep fried. It was one piece of fish from fish and chips (they replaced since it was spotted immediately) and chicken fingers (which were cooked to the point of being hard (like knock on the table hard) I suspect the fry oil was old and/or just left in it too long) ( but also note that the portion size on the chicken tenders were really good (it was only two or three but they literally spanned the entire plate!) BUT the waitress had it removed from our bill (offered to replace, but my nephew was done eating and we were ready for bill)- I give them kudos on this. Also my sister in law decided that she wanted a different cooler after she saw it (something about not liking that one in the past) when it was brought to table (and the bottle was opened by waitress) I give them kudos in replacing it . Because I know that means they have to waste the first one - which is not something every place will do now a days.(and this has nothing to do with any issue by the staff it was completely due to preference on taste) Like every place since COVID the prices here have crept up BUT this has nothing to do with them and the product they offer is very good and the service is excellent. Also: we didnt order nachos but the table beside ours did and it was HUGE!!! By the way my nephew was eying it I could tell he is going to want to come back for that!! I dont live in Oakville but the next time I visit I am definitely going to find any excuse I can to return!! Kid-friendliness: Yes its a tavern/bar type vibe but you could tell that its family friendly

Absolutely disappointed! Burgers were overcooked, the base of the brioche bun was burnt and the top part was cold (from the fridge), the fries were overcooked, no condiments in the burger as mentioned, over salted food. We were so looking forward to a good family meal. The service staff was good, I did mention my disappointment and was informed they are short staffed. What a waste of $$ too.

A local pub that always comes through. I ve eaten here about 4-5 times (a different menu option every time) and it s always delicious. The portions can also be massive (check out their nachos or homemade chicken fingers!) The service is friendly and prompt. Tonight she recommended the Coconut curry and it was delicious! Perfect place to grab a beer and a bite.

Had dinner with some friends after a game. Overall the food was ok. I had the Tin Cup Burger. It features a layer of crispy goat cheese which I will admit is unquestionably unique and delicious. However it was served with a tomato patty (yes patty, not slice) which was nearly one inch thick. I ended up removing this from the burger as it was also the butt end of the tomato and inedible. Other items ordered by the group included the mac and cheese, pepper burger, quesadillas, and fries which overall was enjoyable. Our server was kind and innovative, bringing a pitcher of Pepsi since so many of us had ordered it. A few of the TVs have faded due to their age and runtime making it hard to see whats happening onscreen. Now well never know how bad the Jays lost.

The Tin Cup nachos are the best nachos I have ever had!! I have moved from Oakville but still drive over an hour to come here, they are that good!! Staff are always happy and friendly. Love this place so much!!

Went there on a Friday night for food and beers . It was a bit busy. The food was fine. Service was good.

If the cocktail costs as much as a full bottle of alcohol, I aint buying it. maybe I have not gone out in awhile but was blown away at the prices of drinks being as much as a full bottle of alcohol. a 1 oz, carefully measured liquor would cost you $10 whereas a cocktail was up at $17 - yes with 1 oz, not even a shot. In other parts of the world, the drinks are generous and served with pride. Here, nah! More about raking the money. food was goood service was 10/10 but yeah the water was tasting much better.

They say that their buyers are made fresh, and it tatses like they do. Really good burger.

4.4./5 - its about as good as you can get for a semi-upscale pub. Service is very polite and attentive and the food quality is well done. I cant think of many pubs in Southern Ontario that would score much higher. Good ones are always around 4.3-4.5. Tin Cup has some good sports TVs as well. Great place to catch a game or sit in the dinning area with family or on the patio. I ordered the Louisiana Sammy with a side soup. Sandwich was excellent, huge crunchy and moist breast, well toasted bun and sauce combination. My only complaint, the crispy breading of the chicken was a touch salty - the balance in the flavour profile was slightly off. But it was so well executed, I would consider it one more time. It really was a world class chicken sandwich. The soup was called Lemon-Thyme Chicken. The lemon and thyme were not really there, and the soup was a touch sweet. But nice ratio of vegetables to chicken to broth. They have a specific soup chef who just makes soup. I would definitely try any soup there again.

Despite living in Toronto, I go out of my way to come here when I can. Partly due to the best veggie burger around and partly because of Laura. Not sure Ive ever seen a woman work as hard as she does yet keep a sense of humour. If she hasnt had a raise lately, please give her one. Shes your biggest asset, I think.

If it was just Rosie, server extraordinaire that I was rating then its a 5 star but alas food and ambiance /patio must be considered. I am still Working my way thru the menu so far the Korean tacos are worth recommending not supersized and only two in the order but they offer a slight crunch and nice spice! Patio is ok parking lot patio in need of design elements Resto is a sports bar that accommodates both the local and families for dinner.

Rosie the bartender is so cute and soooo nice and it actually feels genuine. I met the kitchen staff Fayzan and yasar and they are so nice. Fayzan made me chicken curry and I ve never tasted anything that good in my life. This place is 5 stars!

Love The Tin cup locations. First introduced to it in Brantford but that location closed and moved to Ancaster. Anyway. Oakville location, brilliant experience as originally expected when I realized this location existed. Wings were fantastic as usual. This time we tried the foolish sauce on the side. Next time will order as a full pound. Keep up the good work!!!

Tin Cup was such a pleasant surprise! The people and the food clearly makes this place stand out like none other in the area. The waitress was such a sweet person. They checked Im on us multiple times, provided us thing we wanted very quickly and treated us with such warmth. The vegan Mac-n-Cheese is literally the best one Ive ever had! And this isnt even a vegan restaurant! Well done! My friend and I have a lovely time and will be coming back again. The Tin Cup stands out from other sports bars. The food is much higher quality, the staff and service is top shelf. The amount of Televisions inside the establishment pretty much guarantees your game will be on. Not a bad thing can be said about this place.

This place was fantastic. From the outside, it doesnt look like much. I recommend improved signage and facade to attract more individuals because it is a great spot, but sharing a lot with a gas station isnt ideal for curb appeal. The food is great, the service is great, inside is really nice. Id 100% come back here for food, drinks, and especially watching sports.

Theres a great menu with a diversity of options, including a fair amount of both vegetarian and vegan options.
