UPDATE December 10/24 Kings Arms responded to our original review the day after it was posted and provided an email to contact them - which we did on November 23/24. Tic Toc - still NO response to our email. Anyone else ? Husband and I both ordered the Korean bowl - its was more like a bowl of baby pablum. Had some wasabi heat without the flavour. Bowl was drowning in some white muck sauce (similar to ranch dressing) At $29 they generously included maybe 3ozs of meat which had none of the classic Korean flavour that Korean beef is known for. No green onion, no sesame seeds just some nauseating sweet sauce Not likely to return Very disappointed When asked if we wanted a takeaway box in the 1/4 bowl muck we politely declined - at that moment the server should have been astute enough to ask if anything was amiss Would give this dish a zero if I could YYZ Foodie

I had an amazing experience at King s Arms in Oakville! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Collien, the bartender, was fantastic she served me a perfectly cold Stella Artois and was attentive throughout my visit. The French fries with gravy were absolutely delicious, crispy, and smothered in rich, flavorful gravy that took them to the next level. Highly recommend this spot for great drinks, tasty food, and outstanding service!

Been here with some friends a lot for dinner theyve got that nice lively pub feel with delicious fare, good portions, and reasonable pricing. Ive never been disappointed trying something new here! Would recommend the chicken souvlaki, seafood linguine, and tuna poke bowl especially.

This is one of the places thats worth it driving hours to get to! Taking your time enjoying the dishes,and taking a look at the beautiful decoration, not to mention the service! The severs are so kind and wow the cookie dish was crazy! I definitely recommend this beautiful restaurant.

I was there with my parents and Aunt and Uncle. Our server was Brooke and she was amazing. She was very kind and friendly. All of our food was amazing and overall really delicious. Recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Kings, and it was a great experience! We reserved the private upstairs space, the Lion s Den, and Rob and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their hospitality was unmatched as always. The food was fantastic. Kings has always been my go-to spot. Highly recommend for any special occasion or a casual night out!

I ve been here before and loved it so I decided to go back and take my boyfriend. I tried booking a reservation but they told me they didn t take reservations and it is walk in only. When we arrived they told us they could not seat us because we did not have a reservation and they were a reservation only restaurant. Completely the opposite of what I was told on the phone. We ended up getting the take out menu from Yellow Belly and after waiting 30+ minutes I received my order. When I got to the car I realized they gave us the wrong order and had to drive back. They fixed it no problem but as my boyfriend was eating his meal there was a long black hair strung through it. Absolutely disgusting. Not to mention that he got the Yellow Belly Big Box that is supposed to have chicken in it. He received 5 very small pieces. Didn t even bother going back. It was too busy and did not feel like waiting any longer. Had already been waiting for an hour to eat at this point. Completely ruined our night and wasted my money.

Fabulous Experience at Kings Arm s Pub in Oakville Nestled in the heart of downtown Oakville, Kings Arm s Pub offers a charming, British-inspired setting that pairs perfectly with a diverse menu of cocktails, wines, beers, and fusion dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. This was our second visit, and it certainly didn t disappoint. Despite arriving during a busy dinner rush as a party of two, we were warmly greeted by Katey, the hostess, who reassured us that a table would be found. Her enthusiasm made us feel welcome right from the start. Adding to this, the dining manager, Angelo, personally checked in to ensure we were being looked after, making our experience even more memorable. Our drink and food orders were promptly taken, and within moments, our beverages arrived. The food was nothing short of excellent fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and served at the perfect temperature. We shared the vegetarian nachos, and both the smash burger with fries and the Philly steak with fries were delicious. Katey and another staff member consistently checked in, making sure our experience was enjoyable throughout. Overall, Kings Arm s Pub impressed us with its warm service, lively atmosphere, and fantastic food. We ll definitely be returning!

Amazing place...great service and fun times

We came on a Saturday night; no reservation with a few friends. They had a wait but sat us quickly at a table that had missed their reso. Their loss was our absolute gain because WOW. The vibe was great, the service was excellent (as it always is.) I ve been here many times, and always enjoyed myself. I m not sure what they did to the menu, because it was already fantastic, but now? Phenomenal. Every single person at my table was absolutely enthralled with their food. Star of the show was a lobster linguine, a braised lamb shank, chicken curry, and fajitas. I have never had anything that wasn t great here, but this was bomb. Bomb like oh we need to constantly interrupt our conversation to fight over who has the best meal, kind of bomb. It s very rare for an already great restaurant to get even better but I think they deserve a big shout out. Their chefs, servers (we had Nick) and hostess, have done an incredible job at fostering a wonderful experience. Thanks guys!

Recently I came here on Saturday Regan was my server and I had the fried chicken sandwich. It was delicious and Regan has a great sense of humor. We were visiting from out of town and if we are ever back will certainly be coming again.

The Kings Arms Restaurant let s cut to the chasee its a great spot for a royal embrace. The atmosphere is cozy annd classy, and the staff especially our lovely server SIENA makes you feel like royalty. Make sure you try that chicken sandwich of theirs... it s crispy, juicy, and packed with unique flavor which makes each bite is as entertaining as a jester no joke! Don t miss out on this gem its worth the visit.

Great value and atmosphere. 5 stars across the board. (Food quality/portions - location/ambiance - value for money) but what really makes the difference like any other service based industry is the people. Form the chief to the manager and everyone else. Pleasant, attentive and kind. I am a regular, however, in my last visit Kayte went above and beyond big shout out . Btw, the unique patio location is a stand out keep it up guys, it s my go to place with my family as well as my buddies.

Perhaps the best pub in Oakville

It was ok. The experience was a bit skewed by a table of regulars that acted like they were.most important. The bartenders wife (who clearly had too much to drink )felt the need to confront me foe moving to a larger table. The food was okay. I did enjoy the nachos. I love dogs, bur not at a restaurant where everyone pets the dog so that the fur goes everywhere.

My wife and I went there to eat on Saturday August 3, 2024. It was the first time we had been to this restaurant. We were completely impressed. The food was excellent. The service was first rate. The waitress made us feel so welcome and we had a great time. We happened to meet Brody the manager because he had come by to ask us about dessert. He was so friendly and professional. Everything about this restaurant was first rate. This may have been our first time but it will not be our last time. We will definitely be back because of the great service, food/drink and ambience. Thanks for a very relaxing meal.

The service would have been smoother if the music wasn t so loud. She couldn t hear us and we couldn t hear her. At 6 in the evening for dinner service the music should be lower. The food was great and available parking is a bonus.

Worst food I have ever had Mac n cheese had no flavour chicken tacos had disgusting sauce all over it we just ended up throwing it away from how bad it was and for the price definitely not worth it I wouldn t recommend anyone come here and waste their money.

Great place

First visit to Kings Arms was great. Street parking after 6 is free just around the corner. The servers were excellent, made sure we were looked after throughout the meal. Guacamole was delish and mains were all good also. Definitely glad we visited.

Cheers meets gastropub food. Omg. We ve been coming here for years (since we moved to Oakville) and it s shocking how consistently amazing the food and service are. I ve never, ever had a bad meal here and when I swing by after a day of work to eat there or doing take-out, everyone is friendly and quick. The chicken sandwich is my son s go-to, while it s a toss-up for the curry or fish tacos for me. I do love the Tuna Sashimi Salad or the lettuce wraps too. If you re looking for a great place to go that makes you feel at home (but better cooking than at home, this is the place!

Another visit, another great time. Had the steamed mussels and the Korean steak stir fry. Both deadly great. Once again, great service and we left very happy. We did have a very small problem while we were there. We mentioned it to our server who immediately helped us and made things right. This is such a great place. So glad to see pubs like this continue to survive in Oakvillle. Can t wait to go back.

We had the Baja fish tacos, sliders, a side of truffle French fries, and the cookie with ice cream. Everything was excellent, fairly priced and served. I would highly recommend and will be back again for sure.

Last weekend, I took my daughter Lola here for a daddy daughter lunch. She said and I quote, Dad, this calamari is even better than Piano Piano!. Thats a pretty big endorsement and I have to agree. I know my pubs and this is easily the best one around. Not only is the food great and consistently so every time, but the service is tip top, and the atmosphere is a unique blend of hip modern and old school mixed. My vote is just go to the Kings Arms!

Three years later and post covid we finally returned and this place is definitely five stars for service and everything else. My daughter had the chicken fingers and fries with ice cream for dessert (which she dropped and they offered to replace) My wife had the lettuce wraps which she liked a lot as well. I had the burger with a regular poutine which was delicious Loved everything about this visit and agree with their high rating as the quality and service was A+

I previously attend this place for a party and liked it then so thaught will be good to to with friends over drinks. We had reservations so thankfully that helped as thenplace was packed. As we sat down to order it seems like servers were just in a hurry to take partial order and run away not to be seen. We were ready with our drinks and food order but the server kept insisting she will first take drinks order and will do food order later. The drinks came but again our server was gone not to be seen. After couple of rounds we were just served flat beer when we complained they said oh it might be last batch. Then it was changed. The food was good but the service experience was not great.

We had a Meetup. Service was great, they gave us a private area. Lots of parking. Highly recommended

I ve been here a few times, I ve been back for the weekend night music choices with friends to grab a drink here and there. Personally the music from the DJ is WAY too loud because they aren t a club and the venue can t contain that level comfortably. As there are no vegan options and few vegetarian ones too so a few of us can t ever order food (and I m not paying the same price for something that I m gunna remove a lot of items from ) Also the crowd can get a bit rude and/or aggressive so I don t always feel comfortable. There are a few bars within walking distance around so it s one of our only options but it s ok.

This is a cute multi-level pub. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was incredible. I had the Jerk Chicken Supreme, which the waiter recommended and it was a 5/5 meal. Prices are also reasonable and they have a good selection of beers on tap.

best food in town! I drive for an hour just for this restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic, rented out the upstairs for a birthday years ago and the service was incredible! Manager personally checked in hourly to make sure everything was going well and because of our love for the restaurant and frequent visits they gave us a gift for the birthday. Very kind managers! This is our go to place as a family. Their service is exceptional and the food is amazing! Every dish we have tried here has been so delicious. The staff are just the right amount of attentiveness , not too often to interrupt your meal but never neglect to check in on your needs.

Every time I have visited this pub the food and beverages have been really good, and the staff and management friendly. The attention to detail to everything is amazing. I choose to host my Expedia Cruises business / team holiday party here this year, and they provided a private room, bar and buffet set up that was well done! The planning was also seamless. Best place close to my house

We were there for their special Christmas Eve brunch. Thankfully, we had reservations because there were reserved signs on every table. We were a table of 10, so we had some lower expectations but not this low. After ordering our alcoholic beverages, which were excellent, we ordered coffees and teas. Half came in regular ceramic mugs (good) and the other half in paper cups (bad). We were the first ones in. They ran out of mugs after 5 coffees. The first 8 food orders came out fairly quickly and were good for pub food. The 9th came 15 minutes later, and the 10th came out 30 minutes later (considered unacceptable). The 9th and 10th meals were the same, but both did include poached eggs. If you dont usually cook eggs or do any kind of brunch, maybe Christmas Eve brunch is not the best time to try it out.

The Kings Arms has consistently been the best pub in Oakville for a very long time. Their food is great, and the selection is varied. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. There are so many great staff members, its hard to single anyone out, but Brody, Jess, Mary and Kalum are excellent examples of staff that take the Kings Arms experience from being a pub to feeling like a part of the family. Evenings can be busy, but a great vibe permeates the bar. Rob and Angelo have put together an essential anchor for downtown Oakville.

Amazing Oakville spot .. good vibes great service and staff .. the food was ok .. just watch out when they say it s not spicy ! Both times I dined there I was told the Salmon bowl is not spicy but it was unpleasantly spicy .. but overall the food is good! Nice place definitely going back!

I love this pub; it has a great casual vibe with very friendly staff and of course a great menu. Their drinks menu includes great choices of cocktails, beer and wine. Their Smoked Apple Maple Old fashioned is must-try. I also loved Passion+Sage Margarita and I loved it. Their food menu includes a lot of shareable options, late night snacks, handhelds and bowls. Their nachos is big enough to fill up 3 people. Their food is pleasantly served and delicious. I want to come back and try all their menu items and I think it s totally worth it!

Havent been here in years but what a Great place this has evolved into. Nice welcoming vibe overall, the staff are all friendly, helpful and work together as a team. But the food!! I was spoiled for choice by the menu which doesnt happen often in a pub. Portions are generous and everything we had was excellent. Top marks for the dumplings we had as a starter, homemade and panfried to perfection which is rare to find even in Japanese restos in these parts. Definitely a (big) step up from most neighbourhood pubs.

We hosted a private trivia event for a local parents group upstairs and everything was on point from the service, food, drinks, ambiance and set up. Shout out to Tanya our personal server. Great job! The Kings Arms is by far the best pub in Oakville. Great Service and great food. Their Fried Chicken sandwich wins the chicken sandwich wars, it is amazing!

I had two new dishes tonight the French onion soup and the jerk chicken dinner. I ve been to Jamaica 15 times, it was the best Jerk I have ever had. It was authentic, it was perfect!

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time this weekend. We had no idea what it would be like, and discovered that it was wonderful. The food was great, with large portions and fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere was fun and laid-back. We will definitely be going back again! Thank you so much.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at The King s Arms last night. We ordered some drinks and the Jerk Chicken Supreme and Maple Sriracha Chicken Mac and Cheese. Melt in your mouth dishes! Great cozy spot. Very busy but friendly staff. Immediately asked if we had a reservation but unfortunately we did not as we didnt know we would be parking in that area. They found a table for us which was fantastic and seated as quickly. The Tiki Pineapple is a great cocktail. We had the chicken wrap and the Philly cheesesteak. Both were great and there truffle fries are fantastic. Well seasoned and generous portions.

I booked a table for my daughters 16th birthday party for her and a group of her friends. The Kings Arms team was so gracious and welcoming. They allowed us to bring a birthday cake and candles in and they set up a special menu, using a few of their main menu options, for the girls. Epic atmosphere, delicious food and impeccable service made it a memory well never forget. Thanks for everything!

Great place to go and eat, have a couple beers, but as the night goes on, it gets extremely loud, not the businesses fault, they serve such great food that its just busy and loud! Cheers!

Food was fantastic. The place was quite busy too. Would recommend but not if youre trying to have a quiet evening. Still looks like a lot of fun if youre into party culture. Our server was kind enough to make another cocktail for my girlfriend, without charge because she didnt quite enjoy the first one. I didnt think she needed to do that but it was a very nice thing to do.

Space is crowded, was there for a birthday and tables were so separated. The server we had literally did not acknowledge my presence and was putting food and arm were in my face or above my head and boarding line shoving my side with no apology. She also spilled my shot and did not bring any extra napkins or say anything except oh it spilled sorry . Throughout the time she would speak and make contact with the guys at the table. She can work on her professionalism or respect the fact maybe the guy is not the one paying / tipping.

Amazing for a fist timer there. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was incredible. Whenever I get back to oakville Ill also be stopping in at the Kings arms.
