Hadnt been in probably 15 years, ended up.in the area and thought Id go down memory lane...Its still great! Ordered a simple gyros, perfect for lunch. Was even brought a complimentary glass of water and some sweets!

Got food poisioning avoid this place. The meat was very old!

This spot is a hidden gem, I found it on my way to do some work in cineplex and I m glad I did. Amazing taste to their chicken souvlaki and very sweet staff member at the register. Definitely recommend and would come back!

Ordered chicken souvlaki sandwich and 3 Falafel balls. The service was great, smiling people eager to serve!! However, the falafel were really disappointing. The balls are so tiny and very hard. Not worth 1.75$ each at all. Sandwich was good. Overall a nice place.

Used to come here all the time, was a great option for a quick dinner before seeing a movie. The wait here is ridiculous. And it isn t because of volume of people, it s the restaurant prioritizing food delivery apps. It s disheartening to see the same driver pick up an order after you ve ordered, come back and pick up another order before you re even served. We waited 30+ mins to get served a salad. People in the restaurant were complaining about wait times - one woman had to pack her dinner to go because they took so long.

Food is always great fresh veggies and large portions!

I said to the guy spicy not sour .. not recommending at all .. it s a naan bread from the pack of 10 . And already done bbq with some veggies .. not fresh at all .. better eat a subway and that s cheaper also

I love this Souvlaki Hut! The food is always perfectly prepared, fresh and generous portions. The owner Belinda is kind, warm and so welcoming to us. My family and I eat here on Sunday after church. Highly recommend eating in or out so order up people!!

Waited 30 mins for my order that I placed in person. When I asked how much longer, they had lost my order. Very disorganized. They weren t cooking orders in the order they came in, but instead based on who kept asking. Never got my food, was given a refund and left.

On their website it says open on Sunday 11:00AM to 4:00 Am. We got there on Sunday at 8pm and it was already closed. Waste of time and visit. Very disappointed causes inconvenience to customers. Will never go there again.

Good tasting food at affordable prices

This place has gone downhill! Used to be good several years ago (from 1998-2004). New ownership came in and maintained the same quality of food. However, not sure if it has been sold again but the food is absolutely horrible! There is absolutely no seasoning! The Pork is not even marinaded and the potatoes tastes like they have been just boiled. Even worse they serve the Pork Burnt! Several pieces were so burnt you could hardly cut it! Sorry but never again - need to find another Greek restaurant.

My wife ordered from Uber eats this Sunday and got the worse case of food poisoning I have ever heard of. She was so hungry and as this was a new restaurant she ate the food. I came back from a business trip today and she has been vomiting for 36 hours and just started to feel better. looked at the chicken and the hummus and it is clear to me they were weeks expired I will be contacting the health department

I ordered chicken souvlaki with potatoes and rice and it was a disaster rice was a mix of old left over and new mixed together and full of tomato paste texture was bad tasted horrible The potato yes one potato not two was soggy and crumbling but the chicken was semi decent I would never go or order from that place again If the manager is reading this train your staff to prepare food properly deliver good food

Meat was well-seasoned and potato/rice pretty good though on the small portion side. Huge negatives were: pita was cold + burnt, and the salad was just slabs of iceberg with a piece of tomato. Come on! For that price theres probably better options.

Ordered Large Salad with 10 lamb pieces asked for medium rare and an iced tea. Portion size would satisfy 2 people comfortably. The lamb received was well done - Disappointed. The salad was very fresh with a light oil and vinegar dressing, onions, large pieces of cut tomatoes and 4 black olives. They included Pita bread and honey cinnamon bread sticks.

Always closing an hour before time! 5 times I came and wasted gas for nothing

i absolutely LOVE this place. the workers never fail to get my order wrong everytime i order from Uber Eats. they always give me very good portions of food and they always read my custom notes for my order. Food is also extremely delicious!!! Great professional staff. This is officially one of my favourite Greek places to go to. Highly recommended :)

I think the food is good, and its a fairly healthy alternative to fast-food. But i do have to mention, on more than one occasion they screwed up the order. Also its s l o w ! On the other hand, fresh and fast dont always go together.

There is nothing Greek about their food. Ordered a chicken souvlaki with rice and only had ONE piece of potato!! One piece!! What a disappointment!! Everything was tasteless, except for the chicken which was okay. Even the tzatziki dip was pitiful! The salad was a joke! It looked like someone peeled off a chunk of iceberg lettuce, threw it in the container, then threw a slice of tomato and one black olive in it. Ruined my craving for Greek food. Don t waste your money on this place!

They put so little food that even a child would be still hungry after eating it. And it so expensive for so little food as if the stole the food. Put more rice, its not that expensive and if you say potatoes, dont just put 1!

Ive been going to Souvlaki Hut for years and have always been amazed at the food, service and hospitality. I just ordered delivery for the first time and the portions are massive. I ordered a gyro sandwich and a chicken souvlaki dinner; the gyro is so jam-packed that I have enough meat leftover for dinner. Ive never received such a big portion for such a great price ($8.95). Everything was very fresh, delicious and generously portioned. Over the many years Ive been going, Souvlaki Hut has always been consistent. I am so surprised to read some of the reviews below - small portions?! I would love to see what portion sizes they expect for ~$9 sandwiches...

I wish I had read the reviews earlier. I would not have ordered from this location. I have ordered from Souvlaki Hut from other locations and found the service to be excellent. I was disappointed that they only gave us one bag of honey sticks instead of the expected 5. Also, the salad dressing was too salty (salt granules were at the bottom of the cups). I had the meal delivered. When I contacted the restaurant, they would not send the honey sticks. The woman I spoke with apologized and kept saying that next time we ordered, she could offer me something else. Scam. There wont be a next time. Not worth the money spent!!

Not as good as other locations that is for sure. I ordered two chicken souvlaki wraps on a bun and a large salad. When I got home and opened up the salad... there was a measly dusting of feta. For $40 I would expect a little more feta... there is another location in Etobicoke that covers the salad in feta... as they should especially because this place is really pricey $$$$$

Great pork souvlaki. So tender.

The absolute best place around to get Greek food, gyros are always a go to for me, loaded with meat each time I order, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. My only critique of it, they never put enough tzatziki on it, so always ask for extra and even some on the side. If you love their tzatziki like I do, ask for a large tub to go, then you can put it on whatever you like at home..

Love the freshly grilled chiken. What a difference ! It tastes better and its so much more tender.

Super salty. If you don t ask for lettuce, they don t serve. If you ask for the combo, remember to ask for the cinnamon sticks. Nothing that you do bot ask the don t give you. Tables dirty and employees were chatting and laughing. We were totally ignored.

It was our first time to this place. We didnt really know what to get... Didnt get any recommendations... Ordered two sandwiches.. One chicken... One pork.... Food was great.. Very tasty... A little pricey... Paid $30.. The service was not so great. The woman was not very friendly or helpful when we were ordering... Just a blah personality... But overall would recommend the place.

Awesome food

I ordered chicken souvlaki on a pita and I asked to add fries in the pita. (The real way) They said no and I had to buy the fries and add it my self. When I got my order. The fries were so bad, the pita was not fresh and the chicken souvlaki was disappointing. The Tzatziki sauce was tasteless. Very disappointing for a $20 pita, nasty fries and a bottle of water. Never again!

Tasty, quick lunch. Souvlaki sandwich is a little messy, so grab extra napkins! Would love if there was an option to add olives to a wrap!

Lovely Restaurant for a Greek Cousine

Admittedly, I was pretty pleased with the quality of food I received when visiting this restaurant. However, after reading some of the reviews they have already received I have to agree with a lot of them. You have to outright ask for the things that you ve already paid for. I wasn t even given pita bread for my souvlaki dinner. Nor was I given the honey sticks until I said something. Which in all honesty is fine in this case considering the fact that the lady serving me was caught by another customer wiping her nose with her hand and then continued preparing food without washing her hands. Even after being questioned about what she had just done she went back behind the counter ( walking by the sink, again ) dismissing everything the other customer had said to her. As soon as I saw this I got up and walked out, leaving my dinner behind. I am absolutely flabbergasted and disgusted. I will definitely not be going back.

The food at Souvlaki hut is very tasty and Its a good price. Its a clean restaurant, with friendly staff and a nice patio. The hummus is really good if you like garlic. The chicken and fries are very good, and the honey pita sticks are especially delicious. Particularily good for lunch before or after a movie.

Too expensive.. i got a little chicken souvlaki wrap. It was like 14 with a pop.. never again will I order here.. Im giving it a 2-star because it serves beer

Ive been coming here for lunch for several years now. This place consistently delivers good Greek food for a chain restaurant (better than the other chains like Jimmy The Greek or Mr. Greek). The salads are always fresh, and the potatoes, rice, and meat are always cooked properly and served hot. I cant ever remember having a bad experience here. Ive never been to another Souvlaki Hut location other than this one, so I dont know how it compares under its own banner, but this location must be doing something right because theres also virtually no staff turnover here either.

Tried this place for the first time and apparently for the last. Great chicken souvlaki, but two days old salad ruined it once and for all. Would not recommend for take-out unless you check it at the counter.

Very disappointing. I got a falafel here and it only had two small falafel patties that were hidden underneath a gigantic pile of lettuce. Ive never had a falafel before that had so few patties. I also didnt get to choose what toppings went on my sandwich. I wont be back, theres many better options nearby.

Ordered 2 gyros sandwiches and they came on a plate unwrapped. The lady said, we only wrap it for take out, had to ask again to wrap it so my kid know how to eat it. As if they are trying to save some paper wrappers maybe!?

I gave 5 stars before but now Ive changed my mind... they gave super small portions compared to other times and staff wasnt friendly at all... charged me extra to switch salad to fries without telling me and I know fries are cheaper than Greek salad. And they forgot to give me part of my order. I will never come again.

Probably the only Greek food place in Canada I will ever eat at after experiencing the real deal at Greece. Nicely made tatziki and the meat is so tender.

This is hands down the worst excuse for Greek food I have ever had. For $12 I got a piece of pita with tzatziki, meat and tomatoes. Not even wrapped. The salad was wet lettuce with an olive. My hands were covered in this mess by the end of it. It tasted like newspaper and garlic. Do not waste your time.
