We had three dishes. Chilli Paneer Dosa, Rava Dosa and Rice Rasam. The food was extraordinarily tasty. Dosa was crisp and crunchy. Sambhar is very delicious. Server Vivek was very actively helping us to choose food. He has a charismatic personality. Chutney was unique in taste. I can easily rate this place better than Gurulaxmi. It is a hidden gem. Gurulaxmi is a hyped south Indian restaurant. It is not bad but not extraordinarily better as hyped. Definitely visiting again and recommending friends and family.

Delicious food and Mr.Meganadhan was amazing when it comes to customer service.

The food was so good and authentic. Especially their Podi Dosa. The server Abhishek was so friendly and polite. The only thing Im not really happy about is the wait time, which is a little bit long. Moreover, there was a group of people (customers) they were making loud noise and it was so annoying we couldnt even listen to the songs the restaurant were playing on their music system, I think the management should make sure to keep the ambience quiet and enjoyable.

Best south indian food

Recently went to the Oakville location of Annalakshmi and it truly was a great time. The food was fantastic. We were served by Joe and he is one really patient server who took care of our meal that night. Joe was engaging and open to questions. Service really shows the hospitality of a restaurant.

We ordered parota and idly and vada. Everything tastes dry and sub par.

I visited this restaurant on a weekday and it is really pretty and underrated. Food was fresh and delicious along with being affordable.

I visited this place for a light dinner. ordered 1 Chilly Idli and Mini tiffin. Chilli Idli was okayish in taste it had too much of onions put up in the chilli gravy and just 1 or 2 slits of capsicum so it had more of a onion flavour. Mini tiffin on the other hand was great. it was fresh and tastes amazing with piping hot sambar and 3 types of chutneys and gun power mixed with ghee/oil. and finally called it off with a coffee which was amazing and refreshing. Overall a great experience. Service was on time and really nice. our server Joe asked us on minute details for the food like spice level and when to bring the food. He was calm and confident in his approach. He can be a great asset to the company. Atmosphere was calm, ambience was clean and washrooms were clean and had a good fragrance.

Amazing taste, fried rice is a must try for all those craving indian street style fried rice but in a hygienic way. Not to forget their ven Pongal reminded me of my mom. Awesome taste, amazing staff especially Meghanathan- he is very welcoming, kind and is really doing a great job.

Dined in yesterday for dinner and the restaurant is almost full still food and service was really awesome. Meganathan was very attentive and cautious with our orders and served us on time. They were literally running and ensured food was served to us in correct time. Worth for wait and great service.

They have plenty of options for the dosas and other food items. The food was average (3.5/5) as I can find much better South Indian restaurants in Mississauga. Not sure why they use plastic plates, steel plates would be much healthier. The guys working here gave us a good service but after certain time, they stopped coming to us and made us wait almost 15-20 minutes for the bill and take-out containers, I had to remind two different guys, not sure what took them so long!

Today I had the pleasure of dining at Annalakshmi and I must say, their dosa and sambhar is nothing short of extraordinary. The Masala dosa and Mysore Masala dosa were perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining tender and flavorful on the inside. The sambhar complemented the dosa beautifully, creating a delightful contrast in textures and flavors. If youre a fan of dosas and sambhar or simply in search of outstanding service, I highly recommend. Its a dining experience that will leave you both satisfied and impressed.

We went there today based on the google review and found the food was subpar no taste at all. Sambhar had no salt or sambhar masala even Chutneys were bland with no south indian taste in them. We took their tiffin. Service staff was good and looked after us and food arrived quick. All in all will not ho again.

I like how this place was clean, even at the time of their closing staff treated us nicely. Many options available for dosas. Interior is also great.

Annalakshmi has the best South Indian food in the GTA. We have been there several times with friends and family including out-of-towners and they have all consistently loved the delicious food and enjoyed the superb service without exception. It has become our go-to restaurant at least once a week for pickup as well. The service has been consistently par excellence! These days while at most restaurants the cost for a meal is tough to swallow, at Annalakshmi the prices are readily digestible! And for the price you can get a huge crispy dosa with all the delicious fixings that you could ask for! Quite an achievement! A Big Thank you to the staff at Annalakshmi! Keep up this level of affordable, culinary excellence and top-notch service! You rock!

Yesterday was my second dine in experience. The food was very tasty and the menu selection is great! We ordered 4 different dishes to share and they were all aesthetically pleasing and delicious!

A great south Indian vegetarian place to have good food. The reason for deducting a star... 1. Tomato chutney was stale had started to go bad and the green chutney was so so. 2. Filter coffee was not actually filter, but instant madras coffee. Other than the two above the dosa, uttapam, idlis were excellent, coconut chutney was good so was the sambar. The best parota kurma, Podi idly and South Indian coffee in town. You will fall in love with the food and it will bring back memories. Abishek muralitharan & Kishore were exceptional with their service, they went above & beyond. Even though it was crowded they were calm and composed.

I absolutely loved the dosa here. We had butter garlic masala dosa and veg spring roll dosa. The veg spring roll dosa was really delicious, potatoes weren t too spicy and sambar was delicious too. Kid-friendliness: Kids dosa options are plenty. My kids love cheese masala dosa and the dollar idlis

I saw the rating and went to this restaurant. They first messed up my order and brought only half the dishes and realized after 30 minutes that we were waiting for the rest of the orders. Then they served below average meals. The sambhar rice was spoilt and that had to be taken back. They didn t even deduct the price for this.

Tried this location with friends, was highly recommended by a local Oakville friend, and this location did not disappoint. I had the specialty paneer dosa, and it tasted so good. Another friend ordered chana puri, and its actually chole bhature size portion. The food came out very quick, it was nice and hot, and the taste was 10 on 10. They charge extra for chutney, and they keep informing extra charge for any additional extras. Chutney portions are a bit low, but the food is very flavorful and delicious. It is an understatement to say that the food was terrible. Some of the vegetables were rotten, the flavours were not authentic and to top it all off, managements indifference was appalling. The rotten food was not credited and no effort was made to rectify the mistakes. Avoid this place if you can, you would be better off cooking at home.

Food is okay. We tried few things: 1 idli 2 vada- tiffin combo: it was okay, the sambar was star of tht dish, the tomoto chutney had a metallic taste. Chilli bhaji plate : was okay, the batter was not completely cooked on some. Briyani Combo: please NEVER opt for it. The rice was SUPER DUPER SALTY. Gobi Manchurian was SWEET. Fried Rice Combo: Gobi Manchurian was sweet. So try for it at your own Risk. We went there is it close to our place and for pure veg exp. But it is nowhere close to Udipi Madras Cafe near square one mall.

Our second time here. I am disappointed to see the portion size of chana that is give with 2 pooris. Its not at all enough and more is charged separately. No complaints with taste and service.
