Tasty Punjabi food

Had ordered Butter Chicken and Shahi Paneer thinking it would be good. Tried in other places and never disappoints but unfortunately oh Bombay did not make the cut. The chicken in the butter chicken felt old and shredded in thin strips which was disappointing and the Shahi paneer barely had any flavor other than the cream sauce... Also make me sick in the middle of the night.

Clearly the reviews are from friends and family. Not worth the price. Go to the one in Burlington instead. This is not premium Indian food, it s Below MID at best

Went there for my birthday dinner. Did not mind the fact that they were in a hurry cause they were closing in an hour. What I did mind was the food, they were taking Uber orders too so the kitchen was open till I left. Food came quickly but for the price they charge it s bad. Chat options are made from subpar ingredients and everything else tasted bland. Nothing was fresh either. Give this one a miss and eat out at a regular restaurant charging less.

Hakka food is great We ve tried veg momos, Hakka noodles and fried rice. The flavours were just right!! Service was helpful and friendly. Will definitely be recommending to my friends and family!

had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily because of the man who was working there. His attitude was completely unprofessional and rude from the moment we arrived. Instead of being welcoming, he seemed bothered by our presence . When we had questions about the menu, he gave short, dismissive answers with no effort to be helpful. It was clear he had no understanding of customer service or basic courtesy. He didn t seem to care at all about making the dining experience enjoyable, and honestly, it felt like we were an inconvenience to him. wont be returning, and I hope management addresses this issue because its unacceptable for anyone to treat customers that way.however food was good

Ive been ordering delivery from this restaurant for years but recently their prices have gone way up and their quality and portions have been going way down. We ordered a dessert that cost $10 and we only got a 1 cube. I cannot recommend this restaurant anymore, its gone downhill quickly.

Ordered soup, momos, and noodles for takeout last night. Unfortunately, the food didnt meet expectations. Issues: Soup was lukewarm, not hot as promised. Momos were overcooked, dry, and tasteless. Noodles were soggy and underseasoned. Order was incomplete; missing requested condiments. Packaging was messy and leaky.

Not a great experience with food quality

Ordered the through UBER EATS. We are used to Indian cuisine. and ordered over $200.. We are used to warmly spiced dishes with rich flavour but found every dish but the Tandoori chicken and rice to be very over spiced. Not fragrant or delicious- just painfully hot and spicy- Couldnt eat any of it.. only the chicken and rice.

We have order Veg Momos it was really bad and the worst part was they put potato s in momos.. I won t recommend anyone for this place

I ordered the pickup order via uber eats. Food was okay but the service was worse staff were not polite at all and utensils were missing too, how on earth they believe that I can eat noodles without any fork. They didn t even care to give me some tissues. I guess there staff is missing some common sense how to prepare the takeout orders.

Lovely place with less crowd, yummiest food.

I recently had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Despite explicitly mentioning my food allergies in a big note, my dish still contained the ingredients I m allergic to. When I called to address the issue, the manager, Ankita or Akriti , was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she kept shouting and refused to accept any responsibility. Her behavior was shockingly unprofessional. I have no idea how she became a manager. This place deserves 1 star. Avoid it at all costs!

Today we visited this place, its an awesome place with great ambiance and food. Server was very respectful and nice. We ordered paneer mint tikka and chaat papri with some drinks. Everything was so flavourful and fresh.

I ordered food from their restaurant in which they gave buy one get one free offer and i ordered 3 things i was expecting that i will get my complete order but i got one for each even they was showing buy one get one free and then i called and one of the girls picked the call and she said u will be confirmed within 5 minutes but now they are not picking up my call thats very rude . Overall they treat their customers very rudely especially that girl I got incomplete order

I have tried steamed chicken biriyani and steamed lamb biriyani and pani poori. Biriyani was okay, but not like Kolkata Biriyani. It was spicy.

One of the worst restaurant, i ordered naan and rumali roti there was hair on that. When they changed they gave same cold naans.

We ordered lamb chops, Naan, chicken tikka masala and baigan bharta. The lamb chops was very delicious, came like a sizzler and was soft and tasty. Other dishes were ordinary. The staff tried to be very friendly and help. Overall a good experience

First of all service is so quick we are almost more than ten people and they serve all dishes very quickly .we ordered spring rolls,soya malai chaap ,soya tandoori chaap, veg momos ,cauliflower honey garlic and for main course tandoori roti ,garlic naan & lachaa paratha,karahi paneer,gobhi masala,dal makhni .lets talk about food now Momos were so good Soya chaap was so so not recommended Spring roll was crunchy and tasty Tandoori roti Gobhi masala Last but not least hot gulab jamun was delicious

Ordered Veg chowmein from a friend s Uber and can t believe it tasted so bland. I could barely taste anything at all, no flavors. I know ordering food around the time the restaurant closes it not a good idea but this place closes at 11 and I ordered food 10:20 yet it tasted so bad. I have ordered from this place before and loved the taste but sad to say this one disappointed me.

The quality and quantity of Oh Bombay has deteriorated big time compared to past. We ordered Hakka Veg Platter and it was totally disappointing. After charging almost $30 for one portion, they served 2 paneer 2 cauliflower and 2 pieces of Manchurian which was claimed as momos. It was no where close to momos and remaining was sautéed frozen mix veg. After complaining about mix veggies like green beans and peas in Hakka dish, they said that is the Chinese recipe they follow. The so called manager or head was a girl who didn t know anything about customer service and said sorry. Nothing else. She argued that it s perfect the way they served. No courtesy even. This place is no go. Do not recommend at all.

I ve been going to this place for a long time but had the worst experience today. I suggested my friends about this place and we all went there together. The server let us in and gave us the dining menu s and took our order to only let us know that they close in 20 minutes, I believed as any other person would that the kitchen closes in 20 minutes but he said you will have to leave in 20 minutes and the order hasn t started being prepared yet. I get it that I forgot a bit about the timings but do not understand the fact that he let us in, got our orders and confirmed it. Also, asking someone that rudely to leave so quick. Never in years of visiting restaurants, I ve experienced this. I travelled all the way specially to visit this place.

Ordered Food not Edible. one of the worst food ever had for Kids called them lady Kept Arguing i even Dropped the Food back to Restaurant the Food back for them to Taste. One of the Worst Customer Service Ever Expirenced asked them to talk to Owner Balraj was Told that cant share his Number Insane they Lost a Good Customer I would Never go there with my kids. there but no More if the Owner has some Courtesy he Should reply has my Number @ Oakville Location . Ordered Chicken Tikka masala but received something else. Chicken pieces are raw neither grilled or tandoored. Worst sabzi I ever had which was sweet and with raw chicken pieces. Sorry to say but we could not eat and need to throw the subzi. Had this same subzi at your Burlington branch so please do not say that you prepared this way only. Worst worst worst so disappointed.

The employee named JAI SINGH is so rude and arrogant. He said dine in closes at 9:40pm and I confirmed with him at 9:05pm if I can still come. When I arrived at 9:35pm he refused and talked so rudely. I was with my friends and it was their first time. VERY DISAPPOINTING !!

Main complaint is the amount of meat in the dishes, otherwise food is delicious. I recently ordered takeout for me and some friends, we got an assortment of chicken and lamb dishes. To our great disappointment there was maybe 5 or 6 small pieces of chicken in the big container of sauce, each of which was over $20. We ended up cooking our own chicken and adding it in. Again, the food is amazing but portions are definitely lacking.

I love Indian Cuisine and this place makes authentic Indian food. Their Dal Makhani, Palak Paneer, and Vegetable Biryani are the best. If you are in Oakville then its a good place to try Indian dishes. Food

We had lunch with the family on our anniversary after choosing the place from the Google reviews and pictures. But, it sounded more like a normal day to day restaurant as the feeling of exclusivity was missing. The place didn t sound that cool and it s ambience was very normal cafe-like. While going towards the washroom I saw one person from the kitchen sitting and dozing off and the other actually lying down and sleeping in the guest sitting area. Though it sounded a bit aloof but I also saw another guest eating on a nearby table.

Food was tasteless. We ordered chicken malai tikka and tandoori momo in starter, the chicken in malai tikka didn t cook fully and its lack of taste. In main course, ordered chicken Hakka noodle with chilli chicken. The chilli chicken was tasteless. We won t recommend this place.

Ok, I am updating this review, and wish I could go higher than 5 stars. We placed a big catering order for 60 people. Our food requirements were special as we wanted everything vegetarian, and without any onion and garlic. The restaurant manager Aakriti was super amazing. They caterered to our requests, and delivered super awesome food. They were very helpful, gave good suggestions, delivered the food at our door, and helped with the setup as well. Our party was a great hit, and everyone LOVED the food. Kudos to the team at OH Bombay!

Went in for the weekend breakfast buffet. There were a lot of items on the menu and they had patio seating. Great ambience and would highly recommend all items especially idli, vada, dosa and sambar. Definitely worth the price!

Worst food

We ordered butter chicken, Lamb rahra and naan.. the food was very bad. One of worst experience i ever had. The butter chicken was flavourless and had so much colour that my finger were stained after eating. The lamb rahra was sweet and doesnt taste as it should. The naan were so thick it felt like we were eating a pizza and they were shaped like a roti instead of a naan. Never ordering from here again. Considering the price of food from this place it is not worth it.Please get better cooks or reduce your prices to match the taste.

Average Indo-Chinese food. We ordered the vegetarian manchurian, schezuapn hakka noodles, and momos (dumplings). The manchurian had a good flavour.

Great place for a comfortable dine in experience with family. The staff was very attentive and made great suggestions. We really enjoyed the honey chili cauliflower and vada pav. For mains the adraki paneer and oh bombay dal was delicious with fresh garlic Naan. To top it off the rabri malai kulfi in those cute little matkas were amazing. Hands down one of the best! Oakville has satisfied our culinary needs more than Toronto, and Oh Bombay is definitely one of those that take the prize! Their competitor across the street being the other one. Would recommend this for some good Indian food any day. We had vegetarian main course and it was a burst of flavors we hadn t experienced in a while. Unfortunately no photos as were too busy finishing the lastest bits of the food

Everyone here was so sweet and genuinely kind! I come here often with my family and theres not been a single time we havent enjoyed the dishes here. Every single dish weve tried from the vegetarian manchurian balls to the Kofta curry has been top tier. My only critique is that some of the dishes can definitely be on the pricier end and the quantities are relatively small given the price but the food quality is so high that I feel like it is honestly worth it!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who would like high quality Indian food with a truly authentic and memorable taste :)

The butter chicken was good, however the 2 nd chicken dish ordered was not great the chicken was raw and not cooked correctly.

Terrible hakka food, did not taste right at all - which is frustrating considering each dish is $20. Mango lassi was too sour. Not at all worth it for the price and definitely won t be coming back.

Food was good taste wise but the portion size was so small.. we had take out last night for chicken tandoori and fish Tikka and they came in such small containers with barely few pieces in each and an exorbitant bill... the portion size doesnt justify the cost per dish. We were disappointed

After nearly 2 years in Toronto, finally found a place that serves amazing Indian and indo chinese in Oakville. Quick and efficient service with excellent food. We had Vada pav, manchow soup and rotis with mutton Rogan Josh ... All of it was simply outstanding. The prices are reasonable. Oh Bombay will become my go to favorite!

Let me explain our over all experience I am coming to this location since 2018 And always loved there food and service However this time I felt really disappointing about the closure of the service it was a Sunday and not a civic holiday and was not mentioned before hand about a ruthless gratuity charge because of just 5 people as I was never asked to pay this charge by burlington oh bombay or even this location in these years. After the dinner the bill was presented with 15Percent of this extra charge and while enquiring and confirming about the charge this new owner or manager gave a very rude response as if we are cheap people we always tip the server so did we do this time because again the server had no fault in this. But the last owner was really great and knew how to make a client a permanent client and happy client. All I can say very deteriorating experience and tone used with us was really rude he could have atleast used more respectful tone to explain or showed any gesture and I am definitely not coming to this location again and will never recommend my near and dear ones. I have pic of receipt. So nobody gives me advice for not tipping.

Right from dine-in to delivery, the food has been consistently great (which is saying something) Try their Butter Chicken, Dal Makhni, even their mixed vegetable or Biryani, or even their Indo-Chinese noodles and chilli chicken, everything hits the spot
