I got promotional items which are buy one and get one free. They both were packaged so less that you can easily fit everything into one container. Do not run these promotions if you have to adjust your quantity and get 1 star rating and customers who will never return.

I recently visited Punjabi by Nature in Oakville, an Indian restaurant specializing in North Indian cuisine, hoping to experience an authentic and flavorful meal. My experience, however, left much to be desired. The ambiance of the restaurant was welcoming at first glance. It had a clean and well-maintained space, which gave a positive first impression. However, the small size of the table we were assigned immediately became an issue. There was hardly any room to place our food comfortably, with dishes and cutlery precariously balanced on the edge of the table. This cramped setting detracted from our overall dining experience, as it became difficult to enjoy the meal when items kept falling off due to the lack of space. For the meal, I ordered the vegetarian thali and their house special kulcha. The vegetarian thali included two vegetable curries, one curry dish, raita, salad, dessert, naan or roti, and rice, while the special kulcha dish came with raita, chutney, and chana. I was hoping for a hearty and flavorful North Indian spread, but what I got was average at best. The vegetarian thali was a mixed bag. The dal makhani was a major disappointment—it lacked depth and flavor, tasting almost bland, which is surprising for a dish that typically bursts with richness. The paneer kadhai was slightly better, though still underwhelming. It was decent in terms of texture, but it was missing basic seasoning, leaving it somewhat flat. The standout in the thali was the malai kofta, which was flavorful and well-prepared, far superior to the other dishes on the plate. The naan was soft and fresh, but it wasn’t enough to elevate the rest of the meal. The house special kulcha, advertised as a signature item, didn’t live up to its promise. It was not soft as I had hoped but rather flaky, and the accompanying chana had too much garam masala, which overwhelmed the dish and masked other flavors. Despite the restaurant's emphasis on this being a specialty dish, I didn’t find anything remarkable about it. The one bright spot in the meal was the gulab jamun served with the thali. It was warm, sweet, and delicious—a classic Indian dessert done right. However, this one dish wasn’t enough to redeem the rest of the meal. The service was decent but not exceptional. The staff were polite, and the restaurant itself was clean and tidy, which is always appreciated. However, the lackluster food and the uncomfortable seating arrangement overshadowed these positives. Overall, I would rate Punjabi by Nature a 2.5 out of 5. The food was average, and there was nothing about the meal that would entice me to return. While the restaurant’s cleanliness and decent service were commendable, the underwhelming flavors and poor table arrangement made it an experience I wouldn’t want to repeat. I left without a single dish that I would crave in the future.
I REEEAAALLY want to give them 5 stars because they've got such amazing food and I regularly order from them but the service is just consistently bad. I can't ever recall a time when I can honestly say I've had good customer service. They take forever to acknowledge you even if it's dead, their backs will literally be turned against you or they will be on their phones behind the counter and until you say something or they finally decide to look up, good luck getting their attention. The door literally makes a sound when you walk in but they refuse to acknowledge it. I get the vibe that they don't even like their job, or just dealing with people, which at times I can understand because I work in food service as well but at least smile or say hi? I almost feel like I need to apologize for ordering food because I'm met with nothing but a scowl. Hot food also takes FOREVER to come out-- unless you're ordering thali or dessert; today I ordered just paneer paratha and tell me why it took 20 minutes. There was only one other customer but other than that it was completely dead when I ordered. Now I've only ever purchased takeout from here so I can't speak for dine in experience, but the same employees who work at the counter are the same ones I see waiting tables so one can imagine how service might be in that setting. It's a shame because the restaurant is so vibrant and beautiful, and the food is BOMB but the staff just kind of ruins the vibe. I'm still going to order but I hope some attitude changes are made in the future so nobody has to experience that kind of service. Side note, their gajar ka halwa is the best I've ever had. Admittedly, there was a phase where I would come in at least once a week specifically for that, lol. Definitely give it a try if you stop by.
Located in a small strip mall just west of Trafalgar along Dundas St. W. in Oakville, Punjabi By Nature offers a a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian dishes that are reasonably priced. Additionally, they have a very good selection of sweets which are meticulously presented in a long display case that seems to automatically draw your attention as soon as you enter the restaurant. Unlike most establishments that primarily aim to provide in-house dining with an option for take-out, Punjabi By Nature appears to be geared more toward Take-Out with an option to dine-in. As you enter the restaurant, there are big blue overhead digital menus behind the cash desk and hot food area to make the order process fairly easy and straight forward. The dining part of the restaurant is fairly spacious, and consists of average size booths and open table seating that could easily be configured to accommodate large parties. Tables available for two guests appear to be too small and would likely detract from the level of comfort experienced as food and beverages arrive and are placed on the table. Aesthetically, the dining area of the restaurant is tastefully appointed with Indian themed decor that is not over the top, yet is enough to add some warmth and charm to the overall dining experience. Wait times for food will vary with the type of food ordered. Tandoori dishes normally take some time to prepare so it is quite normal for wait times of ten to twenty minutes. Food that is already available at the hot table will more than likely be served fairly quickly after placing an order. Overall, the taste and quality of the food selected was in the range okay to good. The Eggplant Bhartha was fairly decent but lacked the tartness normally experienced in other Indian restaurants. The Tandoori Chicken Leg was almost okay for grilled chicken but definitely missed the mark on achieving that robust, tart, and spicy Tandoori flavour you would expect if you were a fan of meat and fish dishes prepared in the traditional Tandoori style. On the positive, the Tandoori chicken leg was moist and tender and fresh tasting. Customer service seemed to be okay but a bit lacking. Staff appear to posess a "Down to Business" attitude with little room for being helpful or exchanging niceties. This is not to say that the level of customer service experienced was not good, just that a warmer, friendlier attitude would go along way with respect to earning a customers continued patronage well into the future. Overall, the restaurant appears to be very clean, has a good selection of hot vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items, displays a decent selection of sweets, and the taste and quality of their food items appears to be fairly decent. However, the food items selected on this visit miss the mark on possessing the robustness of flavour experienced at other Indian restaurants.
We went on the mother’s day, great service and food naans and butter chicken were the best . Mango milk shake also very good . The best part of was when we were leaving Sandeep and navjot gave us free goodies for the mothers day ! They both made our day ! Thanks a lot
We ordered Chana Bhatura and Saag and Makke di roti. I have never had saag before and that’s why really wanted to have it. Both the dishes were awesome. Bhaturas are big and the Chana sabji is lovely. You get salad and raita on the sides. Saag was phenomenal and so was the roti. Saag comes with Potato sabji and raita on the side. The portion size is generous. The price point is light on pocket as well. Eager to try non vegetarian dishes here. May be soon!!!

I am writing this review while sitting in the restaurant. So you can know how much i liked the food. I tried makki ki roti and saag because i have gluten allergy. It was so soft tasty. For a person who is not able to eat outside that much but also living alone far away from home. it was really a heaven after a long time to eat this much good food. I was not even realizing good food is that much important for the soul. I think i found my place. Thank you chef.
Poor service Poor food quality, not worth the money! I took advantage of a buy one, get one free offer, but the portions were so small they felt like a child s tiffin and could easily fit into one container. If promotions come at the cost of quality or value, they only lead to disappointed customers, bad reviews, and a loss of trust. Better remove Manchurian and rice out of the but 1 get 1 menu!!!

I ordered chole bhature the quantity of chole was like a small cup of tea and not so tasty it was! also they didn t give pickles and onions with it even though I confirmed on call that I ll get pickles and onions. I have been ordering food from this restaurant since it opened in Oakville, and my son used to love their chicken tikka masala. However, this time was a terrible experience. The chicken was undercooked, the gravy tasted different, and unfortunately, my son vomited after eating the food. My humble request to restaurant to perform thorough food quality check before serving customers. Hope you will take proper measures for your serving to people.

I had a fantastic dining experience! The atmosphere was lively with great music, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed Channa Samosa, Chat Papri, Veg Manchurian, Palak Paneer, Tandoori Roti, Mango Mojito, and Lemonade each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. A special shout-out to our server, Parneet, who was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and took the time to explain the menu in detail, making sure our dining experience was perfect. Her service truly enhanced the evening. Highly recommend this place.

We ordered through Uber yesterday. There was a BOGO for Naan. They did not honor it and delivered lower than ordered quantity. Food was ok but the fact that they do not deliver what was ordered is disappointing. Will think a 100 times before I order again.

Honestly this review would not be taken into granted even though for visibility to others, if you want authentic delicious food this place won t disappoint you in terms of quality and quantity. Now comes to service this happened with me 4th time whenever I order something to take out even though the food got ready and I can see the food is ready then too they take atleast 10 min to pack and deliver the food. I saw again with my eyes today and I am disappointed with this service. I am okay to pay for food but I I ll never recommend anyone going for take out.
We ordered takeout so I cannot speak to the ambience but the food was very very average. We ordered vegetable biryani, mushroom mutter and kadhi pakora. The mushroom and kadhi were not great and garlic was the dominant flavour in both. The veg biryani was such a SCAM. It was basically 95% rice with (I counted) 2 pieces of onions, 1 single paneer and 2-3 pieces of green beans. Thank god the portion size wasn t great, and I only had to endure this food for 2 meals.

I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at Punjabi By Nature in Oakville, and I cant recommend it enough! The food is incredibly fresh and authentically Indian, making it a standout choice for anyone craving delicious cuisine. I opted for one of their combo meals, which featured Goat Curry and Butter Chicken served with Tandoori roti. Both dishes were rich in flavor and beautifully spiced. The Kadai Paneer was also a fantastic addition just the right amount of heat and creaminess! For dessert, I couldn t resist trying the sweets. I chose besan ladoo, khoya ladoo, and alsi ladoo. Each was a treat, but the gulab jamun was the highlight! It had khoya granules that burst in your mouth, creating a wonderful, sweet experience. The hygiene standards were impressive, and the service was friendly and attentive, making my lunch even more enjoyable. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. If you re in Oakville and looking for authentic Indian food for lunch, Punjabi By Nature is definitely worth a visit!
I ordered Egg Plant bharta from Uber Eats tonight and that was the most oily dish I ever had. I tried it few weeks months back and loved it so much but today ohhh God the amount of oil in it was insane. It felt like drinking oil with every bite. It used to be my go to restaurant but in the past few months it has been serving really bad quality. Unfortunately I will never be ordering from here.

Can be called Chor by nature. They are selling sweets for $18-$25 per pound on diwali.Total for 2.5 pounds was $51, Seriously i went here with high expectations but was not expecting high price. Went to other shop got 4 pounds for $28.
The food is so average! This place is clearly overrated..neither was the chole bhature great nor the noodles or chaat or the service. We ordered chai even that was bad...literally just milk. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
I visited this overcharging shop on diwali and was shocked by the prices. I purchased less than 2.5 pound sweet and the total was nearly double (more than $50) what I expected based on other local shops. I was like seriously. It felt like I was being taken advantage of, which is disappointing. I hope the management will consider reviewing their pricing strategy, as fair pricing is essential for customer trust. I visited there a day before yesterday and bought a pack of open sweets. The sweets were not fresh as it was looking good when they have in their cabinets may be they packed the old ones not which was in the cabinet. I just wasted money. Be careful guys.

I went to dine in. The food was good. The service was also nice, the crew is welcoming. The restaurant was clean and fresh. But one thing that made me really upset was that I saw them making Naans and didnt have their hair caps on. It was a few days ago. I didnt like it, its disgusting . This is not hygienic. What kind of restaurants crew dont have caps while preparing food. And also I bought Kulchas and they were burnt. Total mess! It was so expensive and then it was burnt, really frustrating. I will not recommend Kulchas at all. Need lots of improvement and especially hair nets.

I was very impressed with the Dosa. Particularly the friendly service by my server (Jaskaran) and the chef (Sandeep) who came to see me. Outstanding experience for me and I keep going back because this restaurant is fantastic. Mehek was a fine waitress with excellent service skills. Awesome food (Kukcha). Vegetarian options: The Dosa and the Aloo Paratha are my favourites because they are very tasty!

Recently visited Punjabi by nature. We love the tandoori chicken and malai tikka. The paratha s are also exceptional. Service was amazing, specifically MEHAK did a great job.
I love Indian food and was looking forward to trying this restaurant so close to home. The inside of the restaurant is lovely and spacious with Indian music playing nicely in the background. I was there with a friend and we ordered our lunch with help from the server. Then it went down from there with our meals being brought to the table. My first taste of mine was all salt and spice as if it had not been mixed properly. It got better as I mixed it. We ordered two different rice dishes and our server decided we only needed one? We ordered a 2nd naan bread and I had to ask for it a couple of times before it was actually brought to the table. What really bothered me the most was our server asked for a google review and said do it now while I stand here and then proceeded to write her name on a postit note so we could mention her in the review.

Punjabi By Nature has become our favourite Indian restaurant that we visit quite often. We really like the food, staff is excellent, ambiance is Pretty good too. However one thing we want to bring to attention of the owners that the washrooms are in really bad state. Please separate the men/women and please make all of them available. Thank you!!

I ve been a loyal customer of Punjabi by Nature in Oakville, often enjoying their delicious food and good service. However, my recent experience with their sweet shop has left a sour taste in my mouth. After buying sweets from their Brampton location without being charged for the box, I was shocked when the Oakville branch charged me $4 for the box and then included its weight in the total at the same rate of $20 per pound for the sweets. They even placed the box lid on the scale! This meant I ended up paying for the weight of the box as if it were part of my order. When I raised my concerns, the staff acknowledged that this practice is problematic and that many customers have voiced similar complaints. The staff also disagreed with the establishment policy and assured that the owner will reach out to me, three weeks have passed without any follow-up. It s disheartening to see a once-great restaurant management succumb to such greed and violate basic rules of weights and measures. I hope they reconsider their practices before they lose the loyal customers. The owners attitude is absolutely against their brand name- Punjabi by Nature. A true Punjabi would never, yes never, double charge a customer for the same item. First charge for the box, then add it to the weight of the items bought. And too with the lid. Great food, decent prices, and good service
It was one of the best aloo paratha i had, and their kulcha was really good too.
I ordered chole baturey (and paneer pakorey) based on the great reviews, however, there was no salt or flavor in the chole, the bathuret were way too oily. The paneer pakorey were also very bland and lacked salt. I think these are very basic items in an Indian restaurant and i expected them to be way better but unfortunately they were missing the most basic seasoning and flavor. On a better note: the ladies at cash were super kind and greeted me with a warm welcome and that was really nice.

Definitely a keeper. At Oakville branch, we received fantastic service by Miss Karenpreet (not sure if I recall the name right). The Food was above expectation. Ambience was cozy and quaint. Vegetarian options: Plenty and high quality vegetarian options.
We hosted a small gathering of 20 people and decided to order 20 vegetarian thalis. Navjot was incredibly helpful in ensuring everything was perfect with the order. The thalis turned out to be a fantastic choice everyone at the gathering loved them! The portion sizes were spot on, and there was absolutely no food wastage, which made us feel even better about our decision. The variety and taste of each thali was a hit with all our guests. We couldn t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend both the thali option and Navjot s excellent service!

The employees running the pickup counter apparently are unable to or unwilling to read and kept cancelling my order without any explanation. They refused to provide an explanation to the Skip the dishes agent either.
First visit when it opened: Great food, great service. Last visit: Food was cold, service was really slow, atmosphere was ok. Looks like things have changed over time!! Not worth the money anymore !!
Truely speaking one of the best place for authentic Indian cuisine, the food is amazing and the staff are super friendly.
Their chicken tikka is really good. Always come here once in a while to have a good food!but they were rushing to close at 9.15 even they closes at 10.

Fish for fish pakora was a bit bland however the coating was nice and crispy. Chicken bhuna was okay, a little bit of yogurt or tomato paste added while bhunaowing, could have enhanced the flavour to next level. Breads were fine. Water bottles at the table need to be wiped/ cleaned well before refilling. Washrooms could be a bit tidier, had toilet roll bits all over the floor. Dinning area and the retail area looks clean and nice.
One of the high-quality Indian restaurants in Oakville. The food is good and tasty, they also serve sweets. We almost always order thali that comes with 3 sabjis, rice, naan, yogurt, and sweet dish in under $18. Total value for money! Navjot at reception is always smiling, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for Indian food.
I d like to give less than 1 review because of my bad experience at the place. Arrived at 9:30pm to get a table of 6. We all ordered Thalis. Food arrived quickly and then we asked for more rotis, was told they will not be able to accommodate us which was disappointing so we carried on with our food. At 10:00pm on the dot, Whilst we were eating they approached us to pay the bill which was shocking and so random. Then once more we were approached randomly to ask if our plates were finished as if we were being told to leave even though we had not finished. By far the worst experience I ve had. Be wary of visiting this place.
Just went tonight at Punjabi by Nature with my family. Food was good, service was extremely poor. Had to get up from my table twice, first to ask for a plate, where there were only two plates while we were three people. Then again had to ask for spoons, sad to say but I had to ask for these basic cutlery items, which should have been there, especially when food was already served on the table. Last but not the least, nobody came and asked if we need anything else. Wanted to order drinks later on but then I left after paying bill at the front counter as nobody came and asked. Hope it will improve in the future.

Amazing food
Punjabi by nature special kulcha is the best. I have been to this place so many times and never disappointed. Sometimes a little busy but worth the waiting.
Poor service, all the waiters specially females are rude. They dint know how to talk politely.
Came at 9:35pm to dine in. They said kitchen is closed.. Update your time to 9:30pm not 10pm. So, we don t drive all the way to get this treatment. Thank you.
I really liked this restaurant. Though the food quality has been declining. When restaurant opened it was fresh, tasty and quality food and sweets. Over time the sweets have started to not so fresh. Food quality ( eg bread pakoda) has significantly fallen. Hope they pick up on the slack again .
Ordered soya chap for take out. Though it was a little upside on the bill, But the taste was good. No complaints. Will try other items sometime
Only problem with this restaurant is that they don t deliver consistent taste. Most of the days food will be good but then on some days they deliver food that tastes like left over food.
I had a disappointing experience at your restaurant. Despite being first in line, we were overlooked in favor of people who arrived after us. Additionally, there was no manager available to address our concerns, which only compounded our frustration. This lack of organization and respect for waiting customers is unacceptable. Don t ever go to this restaurant. If the owner sees this, I would appreciate it if you could reach out to me to discuss this matter further.

Please Do not visit this place for Dine in My experience was really bad with the food. Very Bland food and taste wasn t up to the mark. Punjabi Khane Ka zayka naie tha being a Punjabi Restaurant.Not a good place to try Punjabi cuisine in Oakville.
Amritsari kuchla is really good and the chole bhature is also a mist try. The ambiance is also good. We also tried veg thali and pratha.
We had tried the restaurant before for take out only so it was first time for dine in. The service was very nice. Our server was Mehak. She was very polite and friendly and sweet too. The food was good. Chicken bhuna was spicy. Overall nice experience.
Tasty food Great ambiance
The service, food and ambience was really great! Worth visiting again. Loved manchurian amongst the different dishes we ordered. The quality of bhaturas was also excellent!! We ordered a mix of dishes- pindi choley, chilli paneer, manchurian, bhindi masala rotis and ended with a sweet note of mango lassi. It was delicious!! Vegetarian options: Great options for vegetarians, will visit next time for non vegetarian food. Parking: Plenty free parking spots available

We have dined-in and ordered from this place a few times and its always been good. Its definitely our go-to place for North Indian food in Oakville. I would highly recommend their Dal Makhani.

Not a great experience with getting 16 pieces of gulab jamun packed today the price was 31 or 32 cad and m puzzled .i love their Rasgullas though!
Food is good but vegetable biryani was too spicy . I like the fact that there were lots of veggies and they didn t do cost cutting but spice levels were too high as compared to chicken biryani . Secondly would like to request them to lower cost of gulab jamuns .each piece at $3.99 is too high!!Overall nice service and food ! Happy to see PBN in Oakville .
Wow! Probably the best Indian food Ive ever had! Vegetable Pakoras were tasty and crunchy with a great chutney. The Fish Curry and Goat Vindaloo were excellent! I highly recommend Punjabi to anyone who is near Oakville!

Great food we were on the way back to buffalo ny we stopped by here , we order samosas chat and kulacha. Food portions were a lot . Fresh food very good service very clean place. We are definitely coming back .

We called the waiter 10 times for the bill and each time she would look away or ignore. We waited for 15 minutes until we finally got up and went to the front ourselves. Food was amazing but the service ruined the experience. Will never come back to this location. I don t understand why the girls are gathered up in the back talking instead of doing their job. Attitude was very rude from our server.
Navjot helped us resolve our issue and she was very friendly. Our server on the other hand, was very rude and ignored us multiple times. The food was very good.

This place used to be good but service was so bad this time that I m not going to be back here. Brought main course before starters, didn t bring water or cutlery without asking twice, no serving spoons with main course. Naan were too thick, portions have become very little for certain dishes. I m very very disappointed. Hope they bring back the quality.
One of the best Indian restaurants out there! It s in Oakville but the food makes you feel you are in India. We ordered Non Veg Thali and Chana Bhatura and it was delicious! Highly recommended :) Food : 5/5

It s so over expensive,got 1 pound of sweet box they charged me 22$ which I never paid in my life for same sweet. Literally they are robbing people, I don t understand how people still dine in or take out from this place.

Good place to dine in with family
This time I ordered tandoori chaanp, paneer tikka masala though I thought that paneer tikka masala is tandoori item but it was main course. But this mistake was worthy as paneer tikka masala was very yummy that rejuvenate my Delhiite chatori tongue. All the items were appropriate in taste and was delivered to me on said time.
Went for dinner, family of 4. The tandoori chicken platter was very good. We ordered the Bhuna chicken, Tandoori chicken masala, tandoori chicken wrap, paneer wrap and chicken biryani. All the main dishes were ordered with high expectations due to the reviews. Sadly, chicken in the Bhuna chicken was undercooked. Tandoori chicken was sweet!!!! Paneer wrap was also sweet. More like Gujarati by Nature and not Punjabi! Guess we ordered wrong. Service staff was in a hurry to close down cash registers at 10 pm sharp so requests for desert were met with Sirji we leave our houses at 8 am and reach back home by 1130 pm. Please understand that we need to close now. They were in such a hurry that they themselves skipped the tip part at the bill. Will return earlier I guess and try again. And it is not cheap. Vegetarian options: Lots of options for main course and appetizers. Parking: Free parking

I love the quality of food and no doubt it s a good place to visit for Indian food and sweets but their customer service is way too poor.No coordination between the staff even no one is taking responsibility properly for Dine in customers .

Not bad but nothing awesome either. Good presentation of the food but too too too oily / greasy. Perhaps thats what people like Or expect a Punjabi restaurant but for us the good was just not palatable. The servers seemed extremely tired (Im guessing they mostly employ students) but it seems they were trying their best. Overall a pass IF you enjoy rich / greasy food.

The restaurant was recommended by an Indian friend. Went in planning to get some appetizers and 4 entrees for takeout. I needed help figuring out what one of the meals on the menu was and the woman at cash register was not helpful at all. She didn t answer my question, ignored me and started speaking to another employee in their language. I ended up paying for samosas (I had already ordered them and felt bad to walk out) and didn t order anything else. Note to owner-if you want to generate (new) business and attract (new) customers you should have welcoming and helpful staff at the front. We will never be back.
