Ordered food with my family, I got the chicken shawarma Stan junior bowl. The food was better than I thought it would be, and the staff were very helpful and friendly as well. Im surprised they werent busy considering how good the food was.

Don t go to Shelby s, go here! Everything tastes better, the daily deals won t break the bank, the only shawarma that my wife eats. I like the mixed saj bowl with everything, and get those potatoes!!! Best thing ever! The people behind the counter answer any question and are always loud to yell your order is ready with a smile! Parking: Rush hour parking is busy but park in the beer store arts school area on the west side and you ll be fine.

To the owners of Boustan! I wanted to give you benefit of the doubt for the shawarma and falafel and you guys failed! Whomevered you hired in your store in Oakville had no idea how the shawarma and falafels are prepared! I threw my sandwiches in the garbage the first bite! I am usually not harsh in my food reviews, but this was REALLY bad!

Delicious meal! Their signature bowl is the best. Full of delicious sauce, shawarma, rice, potatoes and salad (customizable of course). For $20 you get a sizeable portion. Suchi (the server) was very friendly and warm as well. 5 stars!

Taking my time out to write this review and I hope the owner make changes after reading this. Food: I am trying this for the second time, it wasnt good for what I paid. I ordered the chicken with rice bowl. It was very less chicken SPRINKLED on top. The SPRINKLED Chicken was dry and smelly, not fresh at all. Coleslaw was cabbage pieces with no taste watery dressing squirted on top. It was not good at all. I could not finish the bowl, this is not right. Service: I understand the owner hiring international students and new comers, its good and I appreciate it. However they need to be well trained before you put them on the line. They need serious training on how to give a better customer service and make customers visits pleasant. Their answer to everything I asked for was No we cant we arent allowed by the manager etc. Charging for every little thing or alterations is outrageous. Im sure people might have had better experience but Im just being honest about how I felt. Very disappointing experience and I would not want to come here again.

I usually go to Boustan in Montreal. I was very disappointed at the quantity at this location. The bowl is 60-70% what I get in Montreal. They do not have all the sauces either. Looks like they need intense training from the franchise. Update: I emailed the owner as per their request and I received no reply. They were just trying to save face, but not really professionals... Update: I emailed the support as per the owners response and they did not reply. They seem to just want to save face online but they do not seem to really care.

Being from Montreal, I was so happy to see this open in Oakville! Went to try it out a few times and the food was amazing like I remember it. Everything is fresh, the establishment is clean. I also have to mention the excellent service. Shout out to Vaneeda, she is a gem and you can see that the staff cares about offering a great experience!

Fabulous little spot. Kids love the chicken and rice kids meals. Recently tried two party platters: mixed shawarma and mix saj - delicious and a great deal plus they had it ready in like 25 minute. We fed 5 adults and three kids on the first platter ($79) and had the second entire platter worth of food left over (we ate for two more days .). Highly recommend if you need a quick dinner for a group gathering.

Horrible experience and food, I would not even give 0 stars to this restaurant, the food is half of what competition would serve plus not edible in my opinion, the staff has 0 customer service skills and absolutely no manners and no professionalism and lacks basic skills, will never try boustan ever again anywhere. Trust shelbys not too far is wayyy better option.

I walked in and was greeted very nicely by the very friendly lady at the counter. I ordered a couple of chicken shawarmas and wanted some garlic potatoes. They were delicious. Would definitely come again not only for the food but also for the warm welcome you get when you come. Makes all the difference.

We have been here for the first time and had one of the finest meditaranean food here around in GTA. It is something like a fine dining of Mediterranean food unlike all other fast food joints . you can visit with the family spend time there and food taste , quality is good. owner s reception was very good. I went to Boustan for their $4.99 special for shwarma pitas. I had the chicken pita and it was DELICIOUS. The chicken was tender. They added just the right amount of sauce. The toasted flavour of the pita was the crowning touch. My family agreed the beef pitas and mixed chicken/beef pitas were also delicious. The customer service was excellent. The lady who took my order gave me a free sample of the garlic potatoes, which were absolutely delectable. The order was a little slow to come out, but this may have been due to the number of people coming for the $4.99 special. It was well worth the wait. I saw on the menu they have a $12.99 vegetarian offering. I must go back to try that one, too. This location is only 7 months old. The interior was sparkling clean and the decor was pleasant. 5/5 Recommended

Decided to order delivery from this place. Didnt order much since its our first time trying this restaurant. And Im glad we didnt order much. I dont know if its because of the Uber promotional offer or thats their usual portion sizes but it was really sad. The beef shawarma was dry with mostly cabbage in it. Not much garlic sauce, meat or anything else. And one of the shawarma, the meat pieces were very chewy and not edible. Wont be ordering from this place again.

I rate this establishment a 1/10. I have given it two chances and I have been severely disappointed both times. They are very chintzy on ingredients and especially chintzy when it comes to protein. Compared to the competition, their quality and quantity of food is lacking for the price they are charging. Their staff is also rude/lazy and not attentive. I will never dine here again.

We came from Montréal all the way to Toronto as visitors, deciding to stop by to get some food, we didnt regret coming here one bit. One of the employees even gave us a free cookie & appetizers! I have to say this place completely blew my mind. I never dined in, but I always get it from Uber eats. I ve tried almost everything on the menu and order almost weekly. I got the whole office now ordering too. Their portions are very generous. Their prices are very fair. This is not your typical Syrian Shawarma it s Lebanese style. The ingredients are very fresh and the sandwiches are not greasy the only menu item that might need some minor improvement is the kebbe. But I would recommend this place to everyone. Absolutely delicious. And I hope that they will offer soup as a standalone option on Uber Eats in the future because it s amazing

I am not from GTA. But whenever I need to visit GTA, I make sure I stop for the food here. They go above and beyond in their hospitality. The food is great and as vegetarians, we have good options. We will come back here again soon.

Had very high hopes as we ve had their food in Montreal but to my surprise the chicken shawarma bowl had very less chicken and was filled with only salad. The small bowl had same quantity of rice and chicken as the bigger bowl(which was filled with salad only!) I hope the management looks into the food being served and to give proper training to the staff.

I was excited to try this restaurant after going to it regularly in Ottawa and Montreal. I found that the portions in the Stan bowl (their largest size) at this location were lacking, mainly with the rice and potatoes. My friend got the junior bowl, and the junior bowl had similar amounts to the Stan bowl, despite the price difference. I don t see the point in skimping on the cheapest part of the bowl, and I can tell that the restaurant has some startup pains. It s a little disappointing as Ottawa and Montreal are known for their shawarma quality and portions, and I was expecting the same at this chain. I will likely still give this restaurant another shot in the coming days and I will update my review again then.

Every bit as good as its Montreal counterpart that made it famous. Portion sizes are good, and the meat is juicy.

Happy to have boustan in Oakville. However, the portions is the smallest portions I ve ever received in my entire life for any pita. I ve eaten at Boustan since it s original location on crescent, the portions were much bigger at any other boustan locations including both locations in north York. It s kind of sad that even the veggies is majorly lacking as you can see in my pictures. Hope they adjust their portions like every other locations because I would rather go elsewhere.

Went back to back days after finding out it is open in oakville, i travelled from brampton. Because of how good i think the food is. People on here talking about how its bad compared to montreal or ottawa but i dont think that is the case. Quality control at this location is consistent and the food is just as good as it looks.

Wow - loved lunch from here today. The bowls were big and everything was so fresh. The potatoes and the garlic sauce were amazing ! And the beet salad and avocado salad - so good. This restaurant is 1% of the Boustan in Montreal. The shawarmas were extremely dry, had no garlic sauce in it, and more cabbage than chicken. Its almost as if the preparer hates Boustan themselves and dont want customers to come back. What a waste of money and time.

I ordered through Ubereats and it was the worst food I could order for my family! The rice was not fresh, the salad was just potatoes no Fatoush salad and only some bits of shawarama! The quality of the meat was bad as well! The shawarma I ordered was filled with cabbage and little meat! When we called the manager to point out the low quality he was rude and asked us what he should do..obviously no accountability which goes to show why this place is what it is!

I tried the new place on its second week of opening. Everything was great. Tried tonight for supper, 3 bowls, a chicken beef and falafel. The most awful food. I was shocked knowing the chain. 1. POTATOES were soggy, over cooked, may have sat around for a while. No garlic taste. 2. FALAFELS were over fried, very dark. Both 1 and 2 seemed to have been cooked in oil that wasnt fresh. 3. TABOULEH wasnt desirable. I bring this all to the district manager, and head office, as I believe you have a reputation to look after and you are better than this. ONE CHICKEN SKEWER?

Tasty food, freshly prepared, generous portions. Have tried several salad bowl combos and nothing has been disappointing. Even tried their recommended garlic potatoes and happily downed them all...even though I am not a huge fan of potatoes. I like the optional sauces and since I am fan of hot and spicy the Harisa fits the bill perfectly. I have the pleasant memory of eating amazing Fusion food in Byblos, the ancient Harbour in Lebanon, so this restaurant kindles the memories. Been Boustan customer for last 10 years or so. Went to almost dozen different branches of Boustan Restaurant. But this new branch in Oakville is simply a disaster one. Don t know why people have given 5 stars, probably they were not to different other Boustan branches in Montreal. The taste and freshness of food is way way below par. Ordered food for the guests and went there to pick delivery. There was no other customer except us. None of the guests finished their food and left some. Potatoes, sauces and salad doesn t feel fresh. Quantity of sauces in chicken box is almost half as given in Montreal branches. Overall our experience is a disaster. The 5 star reviews and lack of customers in the branch doesn t match. We want this branch to be a successful venture in Oakville and for this the management has to think about the taste and freshness of the food. Otherwise this branch will only be successful in getting 5 star reviews instead of repeated customers.

This location is just as good as the locations in Montreal. The potatoes are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The garlic sauce has a strong garlic flavour, but still does not conpletely over power the shawarma or potatoes. The pita beef shawarma and pita chicken shawarma have the perfect pita to filling ratio. While the chicken is not dry, the beef was a little dry but the overall flavours of both are well above what you can get at most chain shawarma restaurants in the GTA. Overall, Boustan is one of the top chain shawarma restaurants in the GTA! Parking: Strip mall with plenty of parking

I ve gone to this Boustan location multiple times now and it has always delivered! Suji is a top notch manager who cares for her customers and makes sure the food quality is top notch. Apart from that, this has taken over as the #1 shawarma spot in the GTA from what I ve had (it s a Montreal chain after all) Must try!

Staff there ensured that my order was correct by triple checking, however I m not sure how this would work at busier times. Overall I thoroughly enjoy these pitas, and their garlic potatoes. Beef is particular good, as it is tender, not chewy, and their chicken is also great. If you like spice, make sure to get the harissa (hot sauce), as it has just the right amount of heat and complements the flavour of the food well! Every time I go to this place I m always welcomed with amazing customer service and eat excellent food. I will be coming back again!

Just a few notes. The food quality is not bad but to me it is below expectations. The employees are far from the culture of that food and they don t look that they have enough experience, so when we ordered, they kept asking us to repeat what we said. I don t think the management is efficient in choosing the people who work there or even to run the business in a professional way. Even the door sign say OPEN in the middle of the night while they are closed. It needs a lot of work, otherwise, I belive it is closing soon.

We discovered Boustan on a recent trip to Montreal. It is wonderful, probably our favorite quick service restaurant right now. Thankfully theres on in Oakville and its just as good as the ones in Montreal. We love their mixed Shawarma Bowls. Meat is very nice, potatoes are great and the cabbage salad with humus and garlic sauces perfectly compliment the rest of the bowl. I hope they open one in Burlington or Hamilton so I can frequent it more often.

The food is incredible but it is extremely difficult to order food. If you order one of their bowls that you see online, there is a series of questions that follow which don t seem to relate to your order. If the website is updated to what/how to order, this could be improved.

My first time in this restaurant and was shocked to see the way the person who was making the pitas skimping on the toppings especially tomatoes they are chopped on tiny little pieces. The lady who took the order never told me some of the topping were an extra charge and they were literally giving me skins of eggplants. I ordered chicken shawarmas, the taste was good; however, I got the thinnest chicken shawarma I ever had... Disappointed!

Had a small family celebration and so glad we ordered from Boustan. Everyone is still talking about how delicious everything was. I ve been to the Boustan in Montreal and was expecting the same experience here but it s not the same As a Lebanese person my expectations are a little high for Lebanese food. Vegan wrap was good and I appreciate that they have vegan sauce. My mom enjoyed her falafel bowl - falafel was fresh. My dad enjoyed his beef wrap and the potatoes were okay, didn t seem fresh. I will say the lady helping me was very kind and helpful

You can never go wrong with Lebanese food. Flavors are as authentic as it can get for a franchise based in Canada. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The shawarma sandwiches and bowls are pretty nice.

I had never been to Boustan before today and I can certainly say that the food was absolutely amazing! Ive been to other middle Eastern places and this by far was top notch. the restaurant was super clean, the service was impeccable and the quantity and quality of the food was definitely worth the money! Food and Service was good but lost two stars for me on the price. Need to do better to be the go to shawarma for this area when we have fantastic high quality and cheaper options like Levantine and several others. Even with the special of the day pricing it is more expensive than the regular every day pricing of other options and its not better food.

After searching high and low for some authentic shawarma and garlic potatoes, I m so happy to report that I found it at Boustan! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was phenomenal. Will definitely be coming again!

I ordered a tray which usually has potatoes and salad but because it was taken to my son s soccer Christmas party, I figured the boys wouldn t be sitting down to eat so I just had the tray made up of all sandwiches. It was a big hit. We pre-ordered it, and everything was on time. Very friendly staff and will be ordering again for sure.

This an Uber Eats review. I did eat at the restaurant before and they definitely put more effort if ordering from them directly. This time I had no choice, I had to order lunch for my kids. They sent the wrong order first. I reordered, and the food was just not good, I arrived home while my kids were eating, they were not happy although they asked for Boustan as they had it before in the restaurant and liked it. I also ordered saj bread and they used pita. Definitely not going back. There are better and more consistent options in Oakville.
