I had the chicken shawarma combo , the portion was generous.From the first bits I lived the spice mix taste , it s so different from any other shawarma I had before. A good place if you want nice food for lunch. They now have garlic sauce without eggs, so make sure you specify. Vegetarian options: Its traditional Middle Eastern food, so there are many veggie options. Dietary restrictions: I dont eat chicken or eggs, and they now have garlic sauce without eggs.

The food is absolutely delightful, the owner Ghasan is an incredibly compassionate and kind person. The best shawarma spot in Oakville hands down.

It was my first time visiting this place, and the experience was disappointing. The lady who took our order filled the box with about 80% salad and gave us two dry, stale kebabs. When I complained, she responded dismissively, saying, It is what it is. For $50, all we got were two skewers and some salad. I won t be coming back terrible service.

Ive been a few times and have brought some friends all of us have always had a fantastic time, the service in incredible very and friendly. Best lamb Sharma around and my favorite place for authentic Turkish coffee. Solid prices and portions, the decor is a but of a mish-mash but a very genuine local sense. I stumbled in there by chance and I say everyone should give it a shot. Vegetarian options: A good handful of classic vegetarian mediterranean dishes.

We don t live in the are and stopped in for a quick lunch on the road. To say it was a pleasant surprise would be an understatement. This place is a gem! The food is absolutely delicious and the owner is a delight. Will definitely be returning the next time we re in the area.

Can t say enough good things about this place. The owner is such a gem, honestly the best guy. My pops introduced to me this place, and the service is soo good that even if the food was trash, I d still come. But the food portions and taste are phenomenal. Like you re leaving happy and in need of a nice nap afterwards, because you d eat everything, and the sizes are more than decent. This place deserves more recognition

Dont be fooled by high google reviews... Went over the long weekend for pick up... chicken on rice and a chicken on salad. The food was very bad and did not taste fresh. The chicken had a smell and was dry.... the rice had no taste. Awful will not recommend.

Went with my family, the owner is very nice and made sure we were satisfied. The food was delicious and the portions are generous and worth it for the price. It was a little bit hot in the restaurant despite air conditioning but it was a bother as much as you would think. The only thing is that I could not figure out how to use the sink in the bathroom, maybe print some instructions or something? Overall, amazing experience and would definitely come here again.

Big portions great service quiet nice establishment

Surprised this establishment was rated so highly. Our experience didn t live up to the expectations and ratings of others. Either there has been a huge decline in their quality of food or we visited during an off day.. Even then that s me being nice. We ordered chicken shawarma plates some with fries some basmati rice no one was happy with their food. Service was good considering our server was also the cook and the cashier, she was running the entire place by herself.

Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap. Meat was very dry, and there were very few toppings. Flavour overall was not great. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

My husband and I have been here twice, once to dine in and once for take out. Both times we enjoyed our meal and were pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality The service was friendly and the restaurant is cozy and welcoming.

From the minute you walk in you feel at home. The owner greeted us with a big smile and welcomed us to a table. He explained the menu and promptly answered all our questions. Food was prepared quickly and was fantastic. I highly recommend visiting here.

Good takeout today, decent food and flavour. I got the shawarma platter which tasted great but the container was only half filled and sparse on the chicken. For $25/platter I felt that the portion sizes were a little small and not the best value for money.

If you like getting food poisoning and having explosive diarrhea for 3 days straight this place is for you. My stomach felt like I ate a bucket of glass. When I called to inform them of the incident they said they were too busy to speak with me and hung up. Avoid this place at all cost.

I came here for the second time for lunch with my family! Gus has always been so friendly and warm whenever he greets us. The food is great as usual, the fries will always be our favourite. I love the atmosphere, it was peaceful and spacious. Gus always comes over to check on us if we needed anything else and always puts a smile on our faces.

Came here because my buddy told me they didn t mess around with their shawarma. Thought cautious, and nervous about deviating from my normal spot , I came on my lunch break. The lads DO NOT disappoint. The sauce was absolutely delectable, the hot sauce and garlic sauce doing a choreographed dance on my tastebuds. The portion was quite big and the chicken to fry ratio was just right. Not to mention, a little bit of footy on the TV while eating made the experience even better. Certainly recommend and will be coming back!

Went there for lunch with a friend , I ordered a burger ( tough bread tasteless meet ). My friend ordered a chicken shawerma on rice ( don t know what that was but it wasn t shawerma ) . Only one girl doing it all . She takes your cash first , goes inside to cook whatever that was , then service it with a smile ( the only positive thing about this place ). . Never again .

Very peaceful place with really good Shawarma and other Lebanese dishes. The Turkish coffee is especially nice and the food is authentic. And they serve beer. So... All in all, a mellow quaint corner restaurant with really good food.

Came here for a special occasion, was very happy during and afterwards. I thought the restaurant was truly lovely. Food was great. I ordered the make-your-own with beef shawarma, with sides of hummus and stuffed grape/vine leaves. I thought it was very well portioned, not too little but not so much that it was a chore to eat. It was also seasoned wonderfully, so I enjoyed that a great deal, as well as the presentation. Everything else about the restaurant was wonderful, my party was catered to swiftly and politely, and the atmosphere was warm. Would recommend.

Food was flavourful and good portion sizes... They brought a dip and chips (free) to our table which was delicious. The owner greeted us and provided exceptional service. Will definitely try other items from their extensive menu. Too many to choose from!

I just got a falafel wrap take out for lunch. Gentleman behind the counter was very nice. Unfortunately the wrap itself was not great. Falafel was dry and slightly brittle. It seemed perhaps these were reheated falafels and not deep fried on the spot, as it should be. Even worse, there was no sauce to make up for the dry falafel. Barely any tahini, no garlic sauce, hummus, or hot sauce. I had asked for medium spice but could net detect any added spice whatsoever. What I liked: The wrap was a good price for its size, so decent value. The veggies inside were decently fresh as well. So my belly is full, but my throat is dry like the Sahara. They seem like nice people, so I give 3 stars. But the falafel wrap was really 1-2 stars.

I have been meaning to review this place for a while but I had to say how much I enjoy going in there for a quick dinner. When I last visited, I was getting takeout and the owner (maybe?) offered me a small appetizer of freshly made chips and their garlic dip (on the house) while I waited for him to complete my falafels. The found was amazing and the staff was so kind, highly recommend.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional service. As a party of four young children and four adults, we were immediately accommodated with a high chair for our youngest, and the staff went above and beyond by turning the channel to a kids show, creating a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere. The food was full of flavour and made with the freshest ingredients. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions, and every item we ordered tasted like a home-cooked meal a true testament to the kitchens dedication to quality. Me and my 2 boys ages 12 and 15 stopped across the street for a quick bite, the person I believe to be the owner was cold and uninviting. Fast forward and we head across the street to Sidra and what a difference; like totally opposite different. My sons had the Shawarma combos, I had a mini Shawarma and a Turkish coffee. Immediately we were served chips and a dip which was flavourful to say the least, while we indulged our orders arrived with a smile, the same smile that greeted us initially, the food was delicious and then the coffee came, again with a pleasant smile ; and topped up whenever needed with a genuine warm disposition. We left both with our stomachs filled and a new found faith in the service industry. Thank you and your staff for a much welcomed dining experience

I came here with my husband and we are super happy to have come across Sidra and he is very kind and welcoming. We tried the regular chicken shawarma and the tandoori chicken shawarma and it was delicious. A very good shawarma after a long time, 10/10! They also make this in house sauce which you can even purchase to take home, and it s probably the best sauce I have tried and I use it with all my foods at home (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) We re already on our 2nd bottle!

Sidras was a wonderful find. I was just there today and brought a new hire. Gus himself greeted us and was friendly right from start to as we walked out the door. I ordered a Manakeesh Zatar and Cheese - it was one of the best I have had. I am definitely going to try one of Gus in the box specials next time. See you soon, Gus! Vegetarian options: There are several options, falafel, salads, manakeesh, soup and more. Parking: Medium size parking lot but with plenty of spots.

Made a 45 min drive to this place after getting recommended and believe me was worth the drive. Flavours of the meat are concentrated and delicious. The wrap was fresh and fluffy. Pass this place for many years, decided to give it a try. Not sure if its under new Management, however it was my 1st time going...food wasnt great. Had the Kafta Rice Bowl (recommended by staff young lady), the Kafta was very hard and burnt. Food has to improve to reflect the pricing.

The food here is absolutely excellent. It s prepared with love, is plated thoughtfully and overall is just delicious. There are many Shawarma places you can go, but Sidra is special. You won t want to go anywhere else for Shawarma after eating here. The service is outstanding, the restaurant is clean and inviting. Couldn t ask for a better experience. I cannot recommend it enough!

I had driven by Sidra a few times and always wanted to try it out. So one day I headed in and placed an order for take out. When I got to the counter the phone rang. The gentleman behind the counter answered the phone and quickly apologized and told them he had a customer at the counter and had to serve them first. I was quite happy to hear this as too many restaurants will answer the phone and take orders while customers are waiting at the counter. Anyways, I ordered chicken shawarma dinner to go and I noticed the sign for Homemade Lentil Soup. I asked for it to be added to my order and the guy hesitated saying it wasnt fresh and he didnt want to serve it to me. I told him that wasnt a problem and he quickly said hed make some fresh soup for me. What a legend. Food was made quickly, and when I took it home it was amazing. Ive ordered a few times from there now. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka, chicken Shawarma , their garlic potatoes and of course their Lentil soup! Great food and great services. Highly recommend!
