Good Mediterranean food. When we got there service was okayish. Servers switched in between. The 2nd server was much better. But for most of the time there service was super slow and they never checked it everything was okay or we needed anythig after they served food at the table. If you have a pet, please know that pets are not allowed on the patio. The reason given to not allow pets on the patio was that they dont want their patio stones be ruined (which I found absurd). Anyways food was good, service was okay. Overall good. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options

Great food, especially their lentil soup! I was a little anxious they would not give a big serving (not that the serving needs to be big but most items on the menu are > $22) But they really provide a good amount of food and its good quality too! Clean restaurant, clean restrooms, great service, Wheelchair accessible, and free parking, and food quality is amazing

Had a late night falafel. Soo good. The curried Onions and garlic sauce were among. Price was good. This is a hidden gem.

We ve been at Montfort Oakville several times and we ve been happy after each visit. The food is great, the restaurant is clean and beautiful, the staff consistently give great service. I think this is managed very well and would definitely recommend this to anyone. Good value for money and delightful dining experience. Parking: Seems pretty safe, right next to the restaurant with CCTVs. Kid-friendliness: This is a very kid-friendly restaurant. The staff are always so warm and friendly. The place is very clean. The space between tables allows enough room for multiple families with young children to move around. They have wooden high chairs for toddlers. The music and the interior of the restaurant are not over stimulating. They have a spacious and clean bathroom that is great for changing diapers of babies and cleaning up young kids. The last time we went there, a dining staff brought crayons and a coloring book to our table to keep our kids entertained. Before we left she gave them a box of Smarties each and a stick of halloween themed gummy candies. Our kids enjoyed dining in there as much as we did!

It was our first time but we did enjoy the food and also the service. We were served by Amir who s super professional and very friendly, giving us advice and suggestions on the food and choices. Highly recommend!

Ive been coming to this Montfort location for over 20 years. Its still far and wide, the best Montfort Mediterranean experience. This location never fails to deliver a good experience and great food. Thank you for always providing quality food and service My favorite go to: steak in a pita with cheese and Greek salad.

What a circus this has become. Montford used to be a legitimate reputable institution when it came to Mediterranean food in the GTA. This is something that I used to love go out of my way and drive from Mississauga to go and get. It was actually one in Mississauga. It closed so I said let me go to Oakville. Take my family with me. Much to my surprise the service was unspeakably bad. I cant put zero stars on that. She must have left us at the table for 20 minutes while she share some other people around us. Then when finally getting it to us and I get it. You got busy in the restaurant so it takes time to get to everybody. I totally understand that she still didnt bring me my order correctly. I asked her for a water. She never brought that at any point. I got up and asked her for it. She said no. Ill bring it to you. Went back to my table. She still didnt bring it. It became personal clearly. I dont know what it was, but I wish them all the best in their business. Seems to be doing okay but if you knew Munford and what it was you would not ever ever mention this place in the same breath quality of the food has fallen off. The recipe is not the same and the service I will not touch on the service.

Ordered the Montfort Chicken Pita. It was excellent! The chicken, pita and vegetables were freshly prepared, cooked perfectly and was very juicy and tasty! Very comforting and delicious food with good & welcoming service! Definitely coming back and very highly recommended!

Food is excellent, family favorite dinner spot. I would recommend trying the Montfort Chicken Pita, Chicken Shawarma Pita and Calamari. They recently moved to this new location and the new decor is very inviting. Far more parking is available. Service is always great. The portions are ample.

We recently visited Montfort for a birthday celebration. We ordered a falafal veggie plate(really good), lentil soup(okay), cauliflower zahran(okay) and baba ganoush in a pita(good).

Have been going to monforts for a long time now and Ive never been disappointed. Staff is friendly, food is great, well put together restaurant. Current location is a little harder to find compared to the old place, I still drive by and have to turn back, but is overall nicer and has far more parking available Parking: Big lot, loads of space

I was craving for Montfort! Hadn t had it for a while. Went to the Tim Hortons plaza and realized it had moved! I kid you not, spent the next 1/2hr pondering what to eat as I had Montfort set in mind! Was going to get good old Harvey s when I realized duhhh, it moved a few years back!!! (Mind you, I had visited this location before but not for a while) Before started to tell my story to owner, she was soo kind and offered me a coffee on the house! Made my meal even 10 x better! Good food, good service!

Here is my delivery order. I asked for no parsley no pickle no onion, and received only parsley and onion. Also, dry chicken. Seriously? Inedible, complete waste of money.

I chose to eat there based on the reviews but honestly don t try it iv ordered falafel and it had raw chickpeas and the pineapple chicken tasted so old .

Food was decent. Service was lacking. No quality check done whatsoever. No one came to our table once the food came. Over 10+mins waiting after our meal was done. I had to literally wave them down. Completely inattentive and there were only 2 tables in the entire place. Pay attention to YOUR CUSTOMERS.

It s 12:20, drizzle outside with nobody sitting on the patio and came with a dog to go out on the patio and eat. Owner said the dogs are not allowed on the patio, but on the outside area of the fence that is right next to the road. This is after a few days ago I called and asked if I can bring a dog and was told yes. Drove 20 minutes for this to be told no. One star and never coming back again. Adapt to 2024 people, everyone has a dog. Stop living in 1960.

Take-out speed, restaurant quality!! So much better than going to a sandwich place. I came in and said Id like to be out in a half-hour, and was told that it was no problem. My shawarma dish and lentil soup came out within a couple of minutes, and I had a relaxed and affordable meal. The ambiance of the place is also really cool. Would come for lunch again any day Im nearby!

The food is great with good vibe

My husband and I ordered 2 Montfort chicken pita specials and we were very disappointed with the poor quality of the chicken. The staff person told us that the chicken was fresh chicken breast. However, the chicken in our wraps was extremely dry and overcooked. The cook simply took the chicken that was already on the grill (and had likely been there for several hours) and stuffed it inside our pitas with a small amount of pineapple and lettuce. The result is that the chicken tasted extremely dry and was not palatable - something that we discovered when we got home, as we did a take out order. We like to support small businesses when we can but feel that we were overcharged for the poor quality of the food that we received - our bill was $39.55 ($17.50 per pita/small side salad) plus we left a $5.93 tip for a total of $45.48. I should add that the salad and pita bread were good and that the main issue here was the chicken inside our pitas. I reached out to the restaurant via Instagram twice to provide feedback immediately after our visit and they never responded. This is really poor customer service, as it indicates that they dont care if there is an issue with their food. There are better food options in the area - I suggest eating elsewhere.

Overall, my dining experience at Monfort left much to be desired. While the portion size of the chicken dish was commendable, the blandness and lack of flavor were disappointing. The addition of canned pineapple did not enhance the dish and could have been omitted. The kids meal, consisting of a cheese-stuffed pita and fries, was average at best and seemed overpriced for what it offered. However, the saving grace was the bang bang shrimp, which was flavorful and complemented perfectly by the pepper sauce. Despite this, my first visit to Monfort was underwhelming, and I dont foresee myself returning in the future.

The chicken Greek salad is the best!!!

My family and I had a fantastic experience here. The food was delicious and authentic, and the service from our server, was top-notch (oops forgot to get her name). The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and we cant wait to go back and try more of the menu. Highly recommended for great food and exceptional service! Such amazing food. We had the chicken Montfort on a pita and fries . The onion chutney / garlic is out of this world . The chicken is so fresh and they aren t cheap on quantity which is important . We ll be back again for sure !

The service was exceptional. We called ahead to see if they had tables available since it was a busy Saturday and they reserved a nice table for our group. Everything on the menu looked great and you can smell the delicious flavors in the air. Parking: Lots of free parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Appears to be wheelchair accessible.

We have been going to Montfort even before they relocated to a new built facility. The place is always clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. thoroughly impressed by both the food and service. Sally the waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable, she has a great memory and if you are a regular customer she will remember your previous orders! The food is always freshly cooked and arrives fast and hot to the table. It s bursting with flavours, truly capturing the essence of Mediterranean cuisine. As a Vegan and lactose intolerant myself I can assure you will have a great selection of choices in the menu and they don t disappoint. The only things I would change is a choice of music that plays on the background. Sometimes it s little boring and slow for a lunch time ;)) I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience. Vegans, vegetarians or a meat lovers will not be disappointed up there. Parking: Great location near the Oakville Place shopping mall. Plenty of free parking right by the restaurant entrance.

Rice contained dessicated, shrivelled vegetables and was really dry, tasteless, and pasty. The souvlaki plate didnt come with tzatziki, which I have never seen before. Overall, pretty disappointed with the food. Nice server though.

Sometimes you forget how you got where you are today. Not the same chicken shawarma as it used to be. Not even close. This chicken was not cooked on a traditional rotisserie but instead was served watery and flavorless. Super disappointed. Its the food that matters most to me. That is why I return to a place.

We weren t sure what to expect, but we were so pleased that everything was awesome. The mixed meat platter and rice was very good and the babaghanoush was perfect and served with a tasty warm pita. Our server was extremely pleasant and attentive. We will for sure be back soon.

I went this morning, I was invited by a beloved friend. The place is clean and it is a good place to hang around with family. But the food wasn t fresh at all, they have to be cautious on what to bring out to customers because my food had a weird smell to it and wasn t Fresh at all (especially the chicken had a very bad taste . ).

They were nice to offer a dip considering the amount spending for take-out. For the price, we dont think the total was worth it. The 2 person platter didnt come with any veggies. Paid extra for salad. And the kafta was dry and barely any flavor. The shawarma chicken was delicious though.

Great experience! We hosted a small family event here and really glad that we booked it. The atmosphere was warm, the service was good, and food was delicious. One thing to mention is that the portions are very large though, and it was a lot of food. We ended up taking home a few bags of leftovers. I would recommend to order slightly less than for the actual number of guests. Eg. We were 14 and could have easily done well with ordering for 10 or 12 max.

Overall experience was good. I got the salmon and it was really good. But I cant say the same for everything else. The place and ambience is really nice. Our waiter Emily was nice too. However, i noticed that tip was already added to the bill and it didnt mention the percentage. That was something I didnt expect.

Recommended the place to my team at work cos I love the menu/food and they all enjoy getting take out there. We dined in once and an attendant demanded more tips from us even though we did not make any modifications to the food or demand extra service. And when we said we gave what we could, she advised us to top up next time. Needless to say we only got takeout since then. Overall the food is great and the environment is nice.

It s Mother s Day and I reserved a table for 4 people, we get there and they said sorry it s a 30-45 min wait! What the hell, if someone reserved a table then that table should have a reservation card on the table, and for the ones who didn t should be the ones waiting. Never again will we go to THAT location!

The service here has been awful. I am writing this review as I m waiting for my food. It s been over an hour since we sat down and haven t gotten our appetizers yet. It seems as though the kitchen is pumping out takeout orders rather than focusing on the customers in the restaurant. Seems like it s poorly managed. We also had a reservation and the only table they saved us was right at the door where 10 s of other customers were waiting - and leaning on our table. Ridiculous. - Update: never got served. Ended up leaving after an hour and a half.

Delicious! Lentil soup (don t forget to squeeze that lemon in!) was awesome and Montfort chicken pita was also fantastic. Portion size was also good. This location looks brand new and the interior looks amazing. Love the granite you guys picked out.

It has been years since I visited Monfort. Had dinner with the family (4 of us). The server was attentive and polite. Food came out at a good pace and was delicious. We had a combination of pita sandwiches and salads. Cheesecake was a hit for dessert. Will go again in the next month as the kids were really happy / want to return. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options. My wife is vegetarian and enjoyed her meal (Falafel Wrap). Kid-friendliness: Good options for kids. My son had the grilled cheese pita with a salad.

I ordered the Mazza for one platter through Uber eats and it was a 10/10. I was only shocked about the menu item meat on hummus and it came with chicken shawerma on top of it so I was surprised and called them and spoke to Emily on the phone as she described to me that they only service chicken on top of humus which is the opposite of what I saw in the Middle East as it was beef but non the less it was great and the service received on the phone by Emily was outstanding 10/10

I will go back to try more items. The chicken in a pita is wonderful. Tried another that was very good as well. The onion sauce was a delicious surprise.

Best Mediterranean food in town! And the extra late hours have been a lifesaver for those long nights when work runs late. Saves me from fast food every time!! Staff are always pleasant, and the restaurant is spotless, charming, inviting and relaxing. Really great Mediterranean cuisine. Great atmosphere and great staff. The patio now is much better then the previous location. Vegetarian options: Delicious falafel and baby Ganoush and hummus.

I can tell the food is made fresh and the dips are the best I ever tasted! The waitress got my order wrong both times I was there, given home fries instead of rice, but it was not a big deal since everything is so tasty. Friendly staff and the hard-working owner always says thank you to us on the way out.

Lentil soup is best soup. This restaurant has been here for years (decade+?) and the quality has never dropped (even when it moved locations down the street!). The sandwich section is reasonably priced while the dinner plates are on the higher end - but you wont be disappointed for what you pay for. My mother knows this place for stacking the meat on. If youre a moderate eater, youll have leftovers. Tasty, tasty leftovers. EDIT: 6 months later I came back, its still really good!!! I love the sauces / toppings that they give.

Every Montfort location has a different menu and different pricing. The falafel plate was delicious and the customer service was good.

I ordered the classic Shawarma and lentil soup I used to eat this over here long time ago and now its the chicken is dry its not as fresh they maybe have it sitting there longer Ill have to give it another try to see if they improve the quality of the meat otherwise its a great place

Went on a warm sunny afternoon. The staff was very friendly. The ambience was cool with very minimal noise although there were people. The food was good. But I think the portion size for the rice was less. It was more greens than rice. Overall a good experience. Would love to visit again to try other items in the menu

Ive been coming to Monfort for years. I keep coming back because the food is great as well as the service. They give good size portions and the food is extremely fresh. Ive been lucky with the great service I have always received especially with Sally the last few years. She always has a smile on her face and is very welcoming. The prices are very reasonable too, actually I think for what you get its less expensive than most places.

This is our go-to neighbourhood restaurant, to dine in or take out. Always friendly..always delicious.. always fresh. Best meal hands down is the large lamb dinner platter, served by Sally. Sally seems to always be working when we enter, and always with a smile on her face Two of us split that meal. Its so generous, and add a baklava dessert to go. Their Chicken Shawarma sandwich is also enough for us both for a casual meal. So yum !!

A low budget Mediterranean fare place that has the most reviews for Bang Bang shrimp(?!?) and all servers are Chinese. Weird- none of the shawarma or other dishes we ordered seemed fresh or well prepared.

I ve been going to this restaurant for ages. In fact I might have even been one the first few that rated it well and wrote about this place all over social media l. But it was surprising how my last two orders have been just truly disappointing. called them after my last takeout last week immediately and told them how their house chicken was chewy and seemed over cooked and the sauces they gave were actually unsavoury. Hummus was the weirdest tasting that I ve ever had. But bread was consistent and the salad was good. The lady that took my order and answered my call was very apologetic and left a note for the manager to call me back. But no one did. Two stars because the staff seems to be doing their job well and over the years I ve never been disappointed. Edit: My partner heard back from the restaurant owner after my feedback and they genuinely seemed to care that we had a bad experience. I have decided to try them again and so far one order we ve taken out was to everyone s liking.

I didn t like the service at this location. We walked in and the lady seated us and told us they close at 12. We walked in at 10:40pm. She served us and was respectful but came to us at 11:30 to tell us they have to close .. are they not supposed to close the doors at 12:00 am? When we got the bills and paid them, she came back and told us that we needed to tip her and the chef. If you don t have the 18% mandatory service fee, why are you coming and telling us to tip you even though we did. I found it very disrespectful. If you truly want to have a good experience, go to the Burlington location. Vegetarian options: The fish and chips is not good

Nope. The service was great but the food was not. Shwarma was dry, no flavour and cold. The steak was an overcooked thin minute steak. WAY OVERPRICED. First and last time visit.

Nice cozy place with mediterranean/Middle Eastern flavor. The food is good and staff is very friendly.
