Big Grill has the most amazing shawarma and I ve been a regular customer since they opened. I won t go anywhere else. Their lunch special (2 wraps) is an incredible price and always made to perfection. The shawarma poutine is the most delicious! They ve taken great care to always improve their restaurant and keep it clean. They also have quick service even when the line is long and Raheel is so friendly with regular customers.

I bought the chicken shawarma wrap lunch special. After chomping down on a couple of hard grissel pieces I opened up the wrap and there was a lot of veiny and gooey stuff from dark meat. Yuck. I called to complain. All I got was sorry. I asked to speak to the owner and was told he wasnt in. I asked when he will be in and was told not sure when. I threw the wraps in the garbage. Not going back.

Seriously Big Grill used to be on my top lists and I literally craved for the Tandoori Chicken Dinner. Yesterday, it was a disaster. I had ordered Tandoori Chicken Dinner & Beef Shawarma Dinner, though wanted to order Beef kabob which would have taken 15 mins. So I switched to Shawarma dinner. According to the attendant Tandoori chicken would take 7mins After reaching Burlington, I was in for a SHOCK! Never had a stale - rock hard - DRY Tandoori Chicken ever iN MY LIFE!! I must say, BIG GRILL you have disappointed me BIG TIME. This surely shows, you do not value your customers hence you could fool & trick people. Big Time Warning! To all Big Grill Fans.

I m a regular customer of biggrill, surprised to find the quality of the shawarma was poor today. Chicken was not well done and quantity on the dinner meal was less. Not sure if there was staff turnover. Hope the quality improves!

I love this place so much, by far my favourite shawarma place in oakville. Very generous and kind workers. Food is excellent quality and is amazingly tasty, they also gave me naan with my order which i thought was very sweet.

Not your typical Shawarma Shop. They make their own hummus, hot sauce and so many other spice mixes and ingredients. It really shows. Now I don t enjoy very many other Shawarma places. This is such a tasty place to eat. Wow.

I find the food tastes pretty solid. But I m not impressed with the quality and price that your paying for. I asked for extra chicken and was willing to pay extra, they charged me 17$ for a shawarma poutine with extra chicken that had literally no extra chicken. The plastic container had barely any weight to it.

Got sick after my normal order of chicken biryani. Vomit, diarrhea, stomach pains. Ordered around late December. Reading through the reviews, I can see that more than one person has had this issue. I usually order the chicken dinner plate, the rice and salad are both very fresh and on point, chicken is just right- not too drying, and sauce is not too heavy like some other sharwama places- just enough taste of garlic. And I love that they offer the lunch size of chicken plate as well, so on my light days I order the lunch size, which is also a good portion. Staff very friendly and price is good value.

We ordered a pickup 3 chicken wraps and 1beef. The guy , called himself John rushed us while we gave the order. We specifically asked for Side order of fried with 2 wraps and the other 2 to be spicy. Nothing was spicy, no side order of fries but there was 2 pieces of fries in the wraps. When we called to complain it was the so called John guy. He was extremely rude that we had to hung up the phone. We are regular customers since 2016 to Big grill and we have never experienced such bad service. We hope the management does something to improve this. Our order was pick up around 4pm on April 16, 2023 ***In response to your msg, the person serving on the phone did not take the correctly. We did give the proper order.

I ordered shawarma Biryani with a drink. It cost me total about 15$. The taste was good very closed to Pulao Biryani with lot if white sauce. Better to use less sauce and increase the portion size. Overall recommended for a good taste.

Would not recommend coming here I ordered the shawarma poutine and asked for the garlic sauce on the side and I assumed the stuff would be on the side when I got home since the bag is not transparent. I get home and there s nothing no sauce on the side or anything fries and chicken. I heard good things about this place so I drive 20 minutes to get there and 20 minutes back. When I came back to ask for a remake since my food is now cold they told me I should have come back earlier but it takes 40 minutes total? I ordered at 12 came back at 1:30? They were reluctant to remake my food and the person I was talking too was very rude trying his hardest to make up excuses to seem like I was in the wrong. All I wanted was garlic sauce on the side of my poutine as opposed to on top of it plus I didn t even eat any of it before and still were trying to say I was wrong.Will not be coming back EDIT: The response written confirms i will not be going back its almost if you did not read what i wrote. I wouldnt say I refused to pay, i declined because i did not want to further give you my money. Learn to some customer service and maybe some reading comprehension lessons as well.

The shawarma is delicious, no doubt about that. The only slight problem is the price, its on the higher side for the portion sizes you get. Also, the place is a bit cramped. My favourite dish was their fries they were crispy and packed with flavor, theyre a must-try. Overall a decent shawarma place and you should try if you are around the area.

Quality + preparation of product is decreased. This place used to be my regular lunch place. Today after long time I was in this area , tried my regular dish chicken Briyani. It was completely different what they used to prepare it before. There was very less chicken, veggies just for sake of name. When the owner of the store used to be on the floor food was amazing. Now it s looks like owner has stopped looking after food preparation and quality which is being provided.

This place used to be amazing for years... Now the shawarma doesnt have much taste, the portion is smaller, there was 3 pieces of turnip. Poor quality pita falls apart.

This place is a hit and miss. Some days their food is excellent and the staff is friendly but the next, the food is bland and the staff is incredibly rude. They also dont seem to like you when THEY make a mistake.

Was very disappointed when I was turned away at 7:45pm because they were closed... they close at 8pm on Wednesdays. I drove all that way to make it well before 8 only to be turned away. I walked in at the same time as another family and they were allowed to stay but not me... Had to leave a review because I was quite furious with the attitude that was given to me to tell me they were closed.

An all-time great of Oakville Shawarma. Pretty average prices, but the lunch special, which is 2 discounted chicken wraps, is value. Has pretty much all the toppings you would expect. Wraps do a good job of staying together. Unfortunately you cant eat inside anymore, but otherwise, if youre in Oakville and want shawarma, I think this is the place to go.

It wasnt bad but it wasnt amazing either. The chicken with fries order were super small for the price we paid. The chicken shawarmas were decent but lacked flavour and the garlic sauce was not good. Nothing special. This place was not worth the hype, in my opinion.

Big grill shawarma is our almost every week option. Kids love to have it once a week. Only thing, that I would like to advise to the team is, when you all salad and chicken/ beef in the the roll, try to mix it as you eat, salad is on one side and neat is on other side. I think, in every bite one should have enjoy salad and meat together, what do you think? Secondly, when you have more items in one order, please put proper numbering on there items.. as we find difficulty to identifying the right number for everyone.. Taste is great, and its quiet economical with good quantity. Best!!

This used to be my favorite little spot. Chicken Biryani was the best around. Unfortunately it seems things have changed. The chicken Biryani I got was subpar at best which is really disappointing. The person cooking my food had there phone in one hand and cooking with the other and the burnt bits in my food reflected the care taken. Hopefully the owner can address this. I will try again in a few months only because I know how good it used to be.

For the price this place can t be beat. Sometimes they go a little light on the garlic but either way the food is superb and the staff always have a great attitude!
