no ethics. Friday evening around 9, ordered two beef shawerma. The chef microw waved the beef!! Ok i thought may be its end of lthe day and they were about to close, the salad looked for sure not fresh so i avoided that asked for tahini and pickles, the cjef piled loads of pickles although i told him not to do that, ok i will remove excess. Went home quickly, beef was almost burnt, it turned into greese as it wss defenitley left overs , pickles and tahini went bad. I am glad i was the only one who took a bite otherwise others would have gotten sick, of course everything went to garbage. I dont know how that business is running, who is allowing that person to put people health at risk. This cannot happen in Canada nor anyplace around the world.

The price is a little higher than others, but its worth it, Very tasty, really huge portions, Shawarma is bigger than your pocket... be careful. Thank you, it was delicious.

Wanted to start off by saying that when I eat here it always tastes so fresh and delicious. I ve tried their falafel wrap, both chicken and beef shawarma platters and both their beef and chicken shawarma on chips and they re all so good. Their garlic sauce is delicious! I m usually a fan of extra garlic in my sauce but this sauce has a creamy taste to it that almost feels like it should be on pasta. It s so good! The atmosphere is amazing and the people that work here are always so kind and welcoming. The vibes in here are immaculate! They redid the interior so beautifully and I will update this review with a photo the next time I visit. Overall such an amazing experience. Love it here! Vegetarian options: Their falafel is some of the best! It s made fresh in house always. Sooooo delicious.

I would triple this rating if I could. Im sure most of you have no clue what its like being treated as a homeless man. There are so many difficulties that keep arising and the suffering constantly gets worst. HOWEVER when we cross paths with people with the kindest of hearts it means more than the world to us. Sometimes it even saves our lives and souls. The Chefs Door Premium Shawarma on cross avenue has owners and staff with these super natural souls of kindness. Seeing that I was hungry they fed me with no questions ask. What im most greatful for was not the meal. But the way they looked at me like a human like an equal who is just injured at the moment. I highly recomend and hope their act of humanitarianism and kindness be rewarded. Their food is great. Show your support. Thanx so much.

I ve been a loyal customer of Chef s Door since Abdel opened the doors to the first restaurant in 2008. I moved away from the Oakville area and now live in the north-east end of the GTA and I m always searching for a place that makes a Shawarma wrap as good as Abdel and his team but I am always disappointed. There are a few decent shawarma restaurants that I ve tried in the east GTA but they don t come close to Chef s Door. That s why every time I m traveling through the Oakville area I make a point of satisfying my Shawarma craving at Chef s Door. Thank you Abdel and team for making such delicious food for the past 16 year! There simply is no substitute!

One among the best shawarmas I ever had in Oakville. The time devoted by team member and everyone there in selecting from the bread till the sauce was the main thing which amazed me. Although it feels bit pricy, i feel it is worth. Definitely will try more shawarmas from there. Exceptional customer care from every member in the team!

I tried this place today, and the food and service were great! I had the shawarma with the Saj and it was crispy and fresh. The place was also decorated so nicely! Would definitely recommend this if you wanted to try something a bit different for sure and the lady serving was so kind.

Best Shawarma in Oakville!

Revised my previous review --- the service has gone downhill. On multiple occasions, we have visited and have not enjoyed the food, customer service and prices. Today, we decided to try this restaurant again... Big mistake. They have a sign that states 10% off with Presto card, which we showed. However, the employee states they only accept black cards. When we asked for clarification, we were told NO, not the green card. It clearly states Presto on it. We canceled our order... Its not about the discount, but the customer service --- if you want loyal and repeat customers, you must treat them with respect. Explain the issue and we will gladly understand, but dont be rude. A few kind words go a long way!

I was in the area and decided to try this place due to the good reviews. I walked in and first looked at the prices and wasnt impressed, but my kids wanted to stay so I ordered 3 dinner platters costing $19.99-22 75 each. My husband asked for clarification on extra toppings and the lady made it sound like it was included as she never provided specific costs. I didnt look at my bill until I got home. I was shocked I was charged extra for toppings given the high price. I was charged $2.74 for pineapple bits that looked like it came from a can, $1.50 for scoop of hummus, $1.50 for shredded cheese. This was charged on each platter, so I paid $17.22 extra, almost the cost of another dinner platter!! Ive never had this done by any place before. This is awful! I understand some restaurant owners are struggling, but they need to understand many families are struggling too! I dont know who would support a business like this, no matter how good the food is. Never going back.

I love this place. I was looking forward to a falafel pita tonight after work, but I had to give my business to the pizza place next door. If you close at 9:45, then dont advertise open until 10. I realize I was that customer and extenuating circumstances didnt allow me to get there sooner. I was going to leave a big tip, too, because it was close to close... next time, I suppose.

The whole time , 7:30 PM I was there, the whole staff was brooming/cleaning/mopping everything while very loud middle eastern music playing. Serving lady watching mobile loudly. Worst atmosphere to eat dinner. Food was subpar. Falafel was uncooked in the middle.

The shawarma fries are to die for.

Got the chicken saj and I could barely taste anything except the salt. Had to throw it away. I have a shawarma twice a week from different spots and this has got to be the worst I have had in a very long time. No exaggeration, it was WAY TOO MUCH salt to even finish quarter of the shawarma.

Love the new Saj... but I asked for no Turnups last time on my order for pickup, and Turnups were throughout it.... just not a fan of those, so I had to pick those out. Great otherwise, and when you order in person, they nail it every time.

Went to Chefs Door as I was craving a good shawarma. The owners were very welcoming and kind. They recommended we try the SAJ wrap which is on a different kind of wrap. It was very good and cooked to a nice golden crisp. Its always great to receive such friendly service to go along with a delicious meal! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Had a beef shawarma just now. The beef was not good at all. Veggies, sauces and wrap were fine, but the beef very poor. I expected much more.

I will start off by saying the worker was extremely nice and friendly. I got a chicken Shawarma the chicken was extremely mushy, also quality of meat was very poor. Bread was also still frozen. I returned it and let them know the gentleman did give me another Shawarma that seemed like he now gave me newer batch of chicken but quality and taste left me nauseous. Won t be returning .

I recently ordered chicken shawarmas at Chefs Door and it was the most amazing experience. The shawarmas were jam packed made with love and made fresh! I found it very convenient where the restaurant is located as I was busy doing shopping at nearby stores. And I took the time to treat myself afterwards. My first time trying Chefs Door and definitely will be returning again. Friendly staff and service. Great quality wholesome food. We ordered catering from Chef s Door last night for our dinner party, and it was a hit! We ordered two of the Mixed Grill for 4 and it was the perfect amount of food for 12 people. Everything was made fresh, and it all tasted great.

$25 for two beef shawarma? Too pricey and it wasnt the best I had too. The owners were friendly. The place wasnt so busy when I went for dinner take out.
