Kibo Sushi House - Oakville in Oakville

The food is great. However they are in dire need of better management. The take out entrance is at the back of the restaurant where the kitchen is. Literally have to walk through the kitchen with a greasy dirty floor in a tight hallway. I slipped and hurt myself. Theyre lucky I didnt sue.

Quick service but food could be better. Avocado was hard and not very tasty

UPDATE- Day 2: We placed our second order from Kibo today, November 26th, after enjoying amazing sushi from them the other night. This time, we ordered three Spicy Tuna rolls and a Green Dragon roll. Unfortunately, a few pieces of the Spicy Tuna rolls were so fishy that we had to spit them out. This was a disappointing contrast to our previous experience, and we re unsure if we ll order from here again. Consistency is important to me when it comes to sushi, and today s experience did not match the quality we had just a few days ago. Day 1: After seeing a few mixed reviews, my partner and I decided to give Kibo Sushi in Oakville a try (we ordered off Uber), and I m so glad we did! It far exceeded our expectations and left a lasting impression. We ordered three spicy tuna rolls, the beef tataki, and a crunchy avocado roll for our 1.5-year-old. Every dish was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. As someone currently pregnant with my second child, sushi is my ultimate craving, and Kibo truly delivered. We ve been loyal to August 8 in the past, but their quality has noticeably declined lately. Kibo, on the other hand, completely blew us away. Every bite was delicious, and I found myself wishing we d ordered more. If you re looking for a quick, satisfying sushi fix that doesn t compromise on quality, I wholeheartedly recommend Kibo. It s a gem in Oakville, and we ll definitely be back!

I have to say I was disappointed, I love Kibo Sushi in Mississauga, its my favorite place! But Oakville wasnt really good. Firstly, they messed up my order, even though I was very clear. Secondly, although made to order, the sushis ingredients tasted like they were prepped long before, the texture was off, the salmon was fishy and overly chewy etc. Normally Im addicted, I cant have enough when we order from Kibo Sushi in Mississauga, but I actually lost my appetite eating the Oakville locations Sushi.

Food is nice with good price. It will be a wise choice of lakeshore Oakville.

The food smells of repeatedly reused oil. The owner was also very rude

Food has a terrible after taste of refried oil. Been in south east Oakville for many years and this restaurant is a shame to the otherwise excellent atmosphere in the market. Exceptionally rude owner who goes back on his word after taking an order - delivers a product different to what was agreed upon while placing the order.

Outstanding sushi. Not expected for a place at a plaza but really good.

Went here for a friends birthday, sadly they dont do any birthday services but that is reasonable. The staff was attentive and quick, and also gave us plenty of time without interrupting us, I didnt catch her name but our waitress was super sweet and had an amazing smile. I ordered the veggie gyoza soup, and veggie platter making A, which had avocado and cucumber sushi, and sweet potato, 6 of each. Before it came out it they also brought me miso soup and a salad, the salad had a sweet and tangy dressing. I liked the gyoza soup, it came with about 4 large gyozas. The miso had nice enoki mushrooms in it. Everything was super affordable as well, and filling! Would come again

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local merchant when I was in their store. I didn t have any expectations good or bad. However it was really good. We ordered online and it was flawless. The order was completed on time and we got email notification. We ordered the sushi boat for four. Amazing variety and sushi was very good. Will order from them again

First time trying this place and I ordered right before closing without realizing. When I found out, I raced there and got there nearly 10 minutes early and my food was already ready! The staff was so kind and said not to worry about it being so close to them closing. The food is incredible. Amazingly fresh even at the end of the day. Generous portions. So so so good, will be going back and dining in next time as it was really nice inside too!!

I had the Salmon Lover combo. It came with a small salad and miso soup. Everything was delicious.

I had the spicy maki trio combo. For $20, it was a filling meal with an actual food value of over $30 if everything was ordered a la carte. The quantity was sufficient and the taste was comparable to any good spicy salmon or tuna roll.

We ordered the bento box, katsu don, and salmon lover to split between 2 people. Portions were great and the quality of food was amazing. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Ordered on UberEats as we have done several times but this time was terrible. Not sure if there is new management but the portions are significantly smaller and there was barely any rice. The individual sushi pieces were tiny and then a tiny ball of rice on the back. Ive never seen sushi so thin across. The tuna didnt taste fresh and the shrimp was chewy. A very different experience to previous times and we will not be ordering or going again. We did try calling to complain but they said that someone different is making the sushi and to get a refund from UberEats. They dont give refunds on quality issues (crazy!) so weve ended up paying full price for awful sushi.

Kibo is one of the better sushi spots in Oakville. Although the sushi doesnt taste any fresher than your typical sushi joint, you can tell theres more effort added to enhance the flavour of their dishes. Service is good for a small place. Prices are on the high end.

Kibo Sushi House in Oakville is one of my family s favorite places to get sushi. they have delicious food and many alternatives for people who don t like to eat raw fish, such as a variety of udon. one of our favorite dishes here is the beef aburi. we highly recommend Kibo as a place for the family to have some sushi
