1011 Upper Middle Rd E Unit #A11, Oakville, ON L6H 4L3, Canada
A family restaurant dedicated to introducing Peruvian gastronomy. At Pisac Bistro, we showcase authentic Peruvian cuisine using Peruvian as well as local ingredients. Its cozy and rustic atmosphere is the perfect place to savor a taste of Peru with a ceviche and pisco sour to escape. Our goal is to provide a true Peruvian experience intertwined with the passion and excitement of getting to share a slice of our culture with Canadians
Food and service were good, really enjoyed the place. I am kind of wondering how well the location is doing, as we were in there at 6 pm on a Saturday night the place was hardly busy. Plus the person who sat us also served us too, including making drinks. Pretty thin staff.
Amazing food and service! We were served by Karina and she was super sweet! The food was abundant and delicious! Best Peruvian food I've had. I already recommended to my family to come and I will be back!
What a lovely dining experience! Absolutely recommend this resto for a special night out or just because you want excellent Peruvian food. Service was friendly, ambiance is relaxing, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the ceviche to start along with grilled octopus and the flank steak and sea bream for mains.
We had a great time here. Delicious food. We had potatoes /feta cheese/boiled egg, Calamari, Pisco sour. Highly recommend the duck leg. It is very tender. The rice mixed with the soup of ceviche mix was a great combination. Will go back again to try others.
Stopped off for a quick bite. I wasn't going in with a big appetite but I will next time. Grabbed the Yukka fries, I feel not everyone will love -but that dipping sauce with it is incredible. Garlic? Mustard? Horseradish?! Mayo?! I got no idea but Gosh darn it's good! The seafood rice was also great. Some of the shrimp and octopus were a slightly over cooked to my taste, but did not ruin the experience. There was a bit of heat and I think I bit into a whole pepper with seeds which was a nice kick. But be warned, if you don't like spicey foods you should mention that. I had a non alcoholic cocktail, uhh pineapple something and cinnamon. Itsa one sipper. Ya it's that good. I will be coming back for their steak - I would love to come back for a features menu. Also that lamb shank sounds delicious.
Our family had lunch there today. The food and service was fantastic. We tried the calamari, lomo saltado and the aji de pollo. It was so chic and delicious. The pisco sour was as refreshing as a breezy Sunday morning. The sweet tooth we have, made us order the alfajor and crema volteada…they were gone as fast as they came. The service was top notch…quite speedy. We will come back for a date night and get more pisco sours! Gracias Chef Renzo!
Had an amazing time celebrating my birthday. As a Peruvian I can attest that the meal was truly authentic and represented the cuisine that Peru has become famous for. The quality of the food and the warmth of the service - I felt like I was transported to Peru for the night! Thank Marlene, Renzo and Karina for such an amazing experience and delicious food ! You have to go to eat and enjoy this amazing restaurant !
This is the third Peruvian Restaurant I try in Oakville. Like the other ones this is a small place with just few tables, which are well presented and also have cloth napkins. We had a reservation for Saturday night, however when we arrived I was almost empty. The service was average. There was only one. The food was good. I asked specifically not to have anything spicy. I had no issues with it. The music level was addecuate allowing us to speak normally.
Amazing place. Flavours are just fresh and amazing. Cozy and just perfect small dine in restaurant Food : 5/5
Excellent service delicious food
Love this place!
Our first and last time at this restaurant. This place ruins what Peruvian food really is. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Im giving 3 stars cause the Ceviche was decent. There was nothing Peruvian in the chicken at all , overcooked and skin burned on top of everything which I mentionned to the personal. The Jalea was ok but mussels were hard and not edible. If you are peruvian or expecting peruvian experience, it is not the place unfortunately.
Good Peruvian food
Great food, pleasant atmosphere, nice music. Ceviche classico and Lomo Saltado were delicious. Pisco Sour - superb!
lovely atmosphere - our waitress was very sweet and attentive to our needs and took a lot of time to explain the dishes since it was our first time eating Peruvian i feel as though the food could have been seasoned a little better (the seafood stew was good but quite thin and not to my taste but then again i don t like menudo which is similar) but the ceviche was wonderful
I absolutely loved our dinner.. The food was amazing and the owner/chef was really welcoming.. I highly recommend eating here.. Well definitely be back..
Food is terrible. Chicken was burnt and raw. The anticuchos were burnt. The roasted potatoes were super burnt. This is NOT Peruvian food. I usually don t leave reviews but this place is disgusting.
We dined in and absolutely loved it! Wonderful food and great service. The Ceviche and the Risotto are well prepared with high quality ingredients. We are definitely coming back.
Fantastic food, friendly wait staff, and the chef/owner was friendly and insightful. They gained a loyal customer in me.
The ceviche and lamb were delicious! The service was amazing! Overall, my first experience with Peruvian food was great because of this restaurant!
Pros: Shrimp Bisque was tasty. The calamari was tasty. Cons: The garlic rice ( more like plain rice) was ok until the bottom of the plate. It had sand in it, and the waitress refused to accept it and said that was garlic. The cevice was way too salty and sour to eat. The place was really cold. We were a party of 9 and we were all cold. Also, it took way too long waiting for the bill and then waiting to pay because their machine was not working. I was planning not to leave a tip due to poor service and high prices, but they automatically added the tip on the bill. I felt as if I was being robbed.
My husband and I were looking for a nice bite out - and wanted to try something new (from all the regular places we usually frequent in Port Credit and Oakville lakeshore). I was very drawn to the menu online and it did not disappoint! Dont let the plaza location fool you - this is the real deal! The menu does not disappoint. Weve never had Peruvian cuisine and are so glad its now on our radar. We shared the Tiradito de Pulpo (octopus) and it was absolutely flawless. Cooked to perfection with subtle smokiness and served with a decadent dip. We also tried the wings - which were also amazing and packed with flavour. My husband had the Parihuela which is a seafood stew and he raved about the flavour - it was served piping hot and chockfull of seafood. We were served by the owner who was so welcoming and we truly enjoyed learning about the restaurant, its sister location in Toronto and the incredible menu. Will definitely be recommending and returning!
The Service was good, the Lord who served was very attentive. But the food was a disappointment The choritos a la chalaca had a taste like vinegar and were very cold, as if they had been thawed at the moment. They were well served but you had a without flavor when you ate them. The seafood rice had no flavor at all, well served if it was... but when you ate it you didnt have that little taste of the seafood, the spices that the chili peppers contain, etc. As a Peruvian, you know that it is rice with seafood. I eat everything and anywhere and if its good I recommend it... But this time I wouldnt recommend it. The jelly was good, the only thing that was good. And the dessert, I dont know if it was whipped cream or Flan...nothing happened.
Good food, quiet place
Excellent Peruvian authentic food. Ceviche and octopus were incredible along with the chupe and the the lamb. Accompanied with authentic sangria
it s an incredible restaurant!! the food is amazing and authentic!
Food is delicious. The ceviche carretillero and the octopus anticuchero are highly recommended. The duck with rice was incredible too, and super tender. Congratulations to the owner of the place and the cooks, it was a very pleasant experience.
The menu is relatively small, but there are plenty of choices and everything we ate and drank was amazing! I especially suggest the octopus. The restaurant is small and narrow, so it would be hard to get a larger group in there. You can spend $25 per person for one main, or a lot more if you order drinks and appetizers.
The seafood stew was the best dish of its kind I have ever tasted. Service was courteous and professional. My first visit. I very much look forward to my next meal there. It was a bit pricey, but the meal was a cut way above typical and even many high end restaurant offerings. I believe the menu is the same for lunch and dinner. Kid-friendliness: A couple dining while I was there had two well behaved children. They were treated with the same care and attention as all other guests.
Lomo was amazing.
Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect Peruvian presentation & flavours, excellent warm friendly staff, generous proportions. Lively dining experience. LOVED non alcohol and special drinks, fresh balanced ceviche, steak appetizers, sea bream steamed light and spiced, temder lamb shank Better than downtown Oakville!!
I went during the opening, the food is expensive but delicious and well made, they even decorate the plates. The ceviche was amazing!
So delicious and such a nice space! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend
Amazing food and service, great addition to Oakville !
Just tried it today for the first time...truly authentic and delicious. Just like eating in a good restaurant in Peru. Dishes are well presented, the place is inviting and the service very friendly. Great Peruvian cuisine addition to Oakville and the neighborhood. Will definitely be back any time I can.
Just amazing!! Delicious food, great place 100% recommended . I can t wait to go again.
Lots of seafood on the menu. All our orders were very delicious. Friendly staff. We will definitely return. Parking: Easy parking due to a spacious plaza location.
Food and service are top notch. Best fried calamari Ive had. So glad to have you in the neighbourhood. Food
We came here for lunch as a family and it was the best Peruvian meal we ve ever had. We will definitely recommend it to our friends. Executive chef and the waitress are both very friendly and helpful.
First time we visited Pisac. First impression was very good. After sit, the attention was friendly and great. Food is paricularly good. I highly recommend this place. Food
I had great ceviche and sudado fish!!
Excellent and authentic Peruvian cuisine!!! Amazing service and beautiful atmosphere!!! We had the ceviche and it was so fresh!!!, anticuchos were nice and tender, pollo a la brasa was perfectly cooked and the calamari so delicious. The tres leches and Lucuma cheesecake were extra luscious !!! Everything was delicious and perfect!!! And the service was Completely flawless!!! I loved it!!! This is my new favourite restaurant!!!
One of the best Peruvian culinary experiences in Canada! Fantastic service, outstanding food quality and presentation. Chef Renzo got that elusive and magic Peruvian touch as the Ceviche Mixto, Pulpo Anticuchero, Seco de Cordero and Arroz con Pato were as authentic and as delicious as at the best restaurants in Lima, Peru. Definitely a come back!
Amazing!! 100% recommended!
I am originally from Peru and was very much looking to try this restaurant in Oakville. I ordered anticuchos to start with and they were as spicy as anything. I must have inadvertently eaten the seeds of some chilli that was placed as decoration on top of the meat. I had an extreme burning feeling in my mouth for about 10 minutes. I had my drink to help ease the fire sensation - expecting it to be the passion fruit mojito that I had ordered - only to realise that I had been given plain passion fruit juice. As a main dish I really wanted to order seco but I m allergic to celery and I was told that all main dishes on the menu had celery in the broth apart from lomo saltado. No problem, lomo saltado is one of my favourite dishes so I ordered it. However, I was extremely disappointed when I tried it. The flavour was ok but the meat was as hard as a stone. I m not a fuzzy eater at all. I normally eat what I am served. But this time I couldn t. The meat was either completely overcooked or the cut was very low quality meat. It took me for ever to chew. I didn t enjoy it. The experience was not what I was hoping for. Very disappointing.
Food was excellent.. Staff was amazing. What a refreshing addition to the establishments in Oakville. Everything was so fresh and the Pisco Sour was excellent.
Amazing, flavourful food. Great portions and service too.
Give your taste buds a treat. Great Meal!
Food and service amazing. Dishes could have been less oily.
Amazing food! Pictures online definitely dont do it justice. The portions were huge and they were so delicious!
Absolutely enjoyed the meal. Good comfort food with large portion sizes at very good price points. You definitely wont leave hungry. For two people we got the mixed ceviche and two mains (braised Lamb Shank and whole seabream).
I was excited about this new addition to the oakville food scene but extremely disappointed after going I love Peruvian food and have had the pleasure of eating at a Chef JAIME PESAQUE s restaurants and Coya so I am well acquainted with how good Peruvian food should taste..would not go back..
Ordered take out and was really disappointed except for the ceviche, that was great. Calimari was really salty and overcooked, the tentacle pieces were like cardboard. The Lomo was also really salty. Chupe de Camarones was very watery and bland, and they forgot to include the rice which we discovered after getting home. But the ceviche was great and the Aji de Pollo was also done well.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would !!! It makes me feel like I m back in Peru. The food is to die for and the service is incredible ! If you are thinking of coming, don t think about it twice, highly recommended !!
This is a wonderful, nicely decorated, family-owned restaurant. Great place for a date or to have a nice and deliciously tasty meal with family and friends. We tried a number of things from the tuna cerviche to the lamb shank. We will be back to try more. Dietary restrictions: They were great with my corn allergy and Peruvian food has a lot of corn in it. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Small restaurant in a unit at a plaza. Seemed short staffed. We are not fussy people whatsoever. Coming from the same industry, I am very sympathetic with hospitality workers.. With reservations, we waited for a bit at the front. There was minimal room to stand and wait. We didnt want to bother diners near door by hovering. 2 servers were busy as they served food and made beverages on their own. No actual Bar/Bartender. Kitchen prep area was in full view from our table where we can see dirty dishes being emptied. If all that is no bother to you, then read on because we ate well! Once seated, service was good. We received personal service after we mentioned its our first time trying Peruvian fare. Dishes we asked about were described to us and server gave recommendations. Food came to our table with minimal wait and was flavourful! We tried the deep fried Calamari, good portion. The Grilled Octopus was amazing. Braised Lamb Shank With Garlic Rice was hearty. Sautéed 6oz Flank Steak With Garlic Rice was abit chewy. Experience wasnt bad. Maybe next time we will try the Toronto location.
Excellent, great food
Just as good as the DT location. A GTA staple.
So so good! One of the best restaurants in Oakville. Please come here, you need to support! Portions are great and the service was good too.
Love the service, stuffs are so friendly, and they do amazing food!! Must go restaurant!!
In all my years of discovering restaurants in Oakville, this place has very swiftly become my favourite place to dine. The food was an incredible price with hearty portions and enough flavour to make you question why you ve never tried Peruvian food. All in all this place is a hidden gem that adds an incredible dining option for those looking to escape the mundane Oakville dining experience. 10/10
Super friendly staff and ready to answer all our questions. Our food was delicious, flavourful and with generous portions. Atmosphere was warm, relaxed and comfortable We will definitely be going back.
What a wonderful surprise to stumble across this delicious Peruvian restaurant. My husband and I shared the octopus and squid ink risotto. They were both spectacular, so flavourful and beautifully presented. Were looking forward to returning. Food
Service is very professional, attentive and friendly. The ambience is simple but there is an unpretentious sophistication from the decor to the dishes and cutlery. But. The real star is the FOOD. If you want an authentic and delicious food experience, go no further. The the ceviches are fresh with the perfect balance of acid, brine and heat. The braised lamb shank is the BEST I ve ever had and the desserts are perfect. Value is shocking given how good the ingredients are. The drinks are also well balanced and flavour-forward. I highly recommend this restaurant. Support our local community and come dine here. You will leave with a full and warm belly!!
Delicious food and great service at reasonable prices! Highly recommend you try it.
Had an amazing dinner. Marlene and the chef (her husband) made the experience unforgettable. The food and drinks were superb and the service by Karina was outstanding. We will go back for sure. Carmen and Jay.
Disappointing...since both google maps and their own website indicates that Sunday is open until 6, but at 4 pm we were told that they are closing at 4.
One of the best restaurants in all of the GTA. The ceviche is out of this world. The Jalea de Mariscos is so tasteful and a huge portion. Every dish is absolutely delightful.
Fantastic spot in Oakville ! Great portions great flavours ! You have to try it ! Food
Unbelievable! The food is exceptional and this is a must try!! I will absolutely be back!!
Friendly and fast service at this incredible Peruvian restaurant in Oakville . I m a huge fan of the downtown location and was thrilled to find out that this location was just as good. Highly recommend a ceviche, wings and the lamb shank. Will be back to try the rest of the menu and enjoy a cocktail.
Excellent food and service. We will be back soon!!
An excellent true Peruvian cuisine option in Oakville. Pisac menu offers all the staples of traditional and contemporary Peruvian dishes. Worth a visit.
This restaurant serves the best Peruvian food and you re being served by the owner and head chef who is Peruvian. Get the Duck (pato con arroz) if you want to blow your mind. It melts like butter in your mouth. The Peruvian classic dish Ceviche is the first thing I eat when I travel to Peru and the first thing I order when I go to Pisac. The atmosphere is so amazing because everyone there is so happy smiling and laughing because they are all eating such delicious food.
Love the food, love the service! I tried the classic ceviche and sea food Rice! Both amazing! Definitely will come back soon!!
Best ceviche I ve ever had!
Excellent food. We loved the ambiance. Service was great. We will come back.
Venezuelans visited this restaurant today and our experience was the best. The best Peruvian food. The ceviche at its point. The shrimp chupe excellent flavor. Served by its own owner. Mr. Renzo super friendly. Many successes. Super recommending.
We had a delicious meal here and will definitely be back. The ceviche was outstanding.
Yes, we need to go back and try other dishes. Also yes, I m not sure if I ll order the lamb again and again and again. But I ll keep telling myself to try other dishes.
This cute authentic peruvian bistro is such a lovely experience . The food is delicious :) we had the Neike ceviche and the llomo saltado and for someone who has visited Peru i can attest to its originality and authenticity . The staff is lovely and welcoming all on all amazing experience
Excellent menu and service. We will be back!
Wonderful gem in Oakville. A sister to the Toronto location, it does Peruvian food really well. The Pisco Sour is a must, as are the ceviche (beautiful acidity) and squid ink risotto. Highly recommended. Service was very attentive and portions were really good we had leftovers for at least another meal.
Food is amazing!! I had ceviche clasico and my husband the ají de pollo, for dessert the passion fruit cheesecake. We were both really happy with or meals and the friendly service. This is authentic Peruvian food and hospitality. We will go back many times.
